차체구조물의 부식이 충돌안전도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Study on Effect of Collision Safety by Corrosion of Body Structure)

  • Repair were made for front pillar, center pillar and side-step panel for lightweight vehicles with head-on and 40% off-set collision of 15 km/h in a RCAR standard. The salt dilution was sprayed and the compression tests were performed for vehicles with and without anti-corrosional treatment after repair. After 764 hours of salt-dilt sprayed test without using anti-corrosion, the mean penetration depth fur corrosion was shown to be 58% of the thickness. The resulyed decrease in bending stiffness by 10∼20% can cause reduction of the residual life and crash-absorption capability for damaged vehicles. The corrosoin safety tests showed that the anti-corrosional treatment should be made to improve the safety characteristics for a or damaged car.

  • This paper present a new disk-type piezoelectric transformer. The input side of the transformer has a crescent-shaped electrode and the output side has a focused poling direction. The piezoelectric transformers operated in each transformer's resonance vibration mode. The electrodes and poling directions on commercially available piezoelectric ceramic disks were designed so that the planar or shear mode coupling factor $(k_p,\;k_{15})$ becomes effective rather than the transverse meed coupling factor $(k_{31})$. A single layer prototype transformer, 26[m] in diameter and 2.0[mm] thickness, was fabricated, such as step-up ratio, power transformation efficiency and temperature were measured.

  • The interior vehicle noise due to the exterior aerodynamic field is an important topic in the acoustic design of a car. The air flow detached from the A-pillar and impacting the side windows are of particular interest as they are located close to the driver / passenger and provides a lower insulation index than the trimmed car body parts. This paper presents a numerical analysis method for a simplified vehicle model. The internal air cavity including trim component are included in the simulation. The car body includes the windshield and two side windows. The body is made of aluminum and trimmed with porous layers. The methodology proposed in this paper relies on two steps: the first step involves the computation of the exterior flow and turbulence induced non-linear acoustic field using CFD Code. The second step consists in the computation of the vibro-acoustic transmission through the window using the finite element vibro-acoustic solver Actran.

3상 계통 연계 인버터의 SVPWM을 위한 LCL-필터 설계 (Design of an LCL-Filter for Space Vector PWM in a Grid-Connected System)

  • This paper proposes an LCL-filter design for space vector pulse width modulation (SVM) in grid-connected three-phase inverter systems. Although there are a several studies in progress, the existing methods are erroneous because they do not focus on the other switching methods. This paper presents the design methodology for an LCL-filter that is optimized for SVM switching operations. The design procedure for the LCL-filter is presented step-by-step. The inverter-side inductor was determined by an analysis of the ripple components, mathematically. Based on the reactive power absorption ratio, the filter capacitor was determined. The grid-side inductor was determined by the ripple attenuation factor of the output current. Experimental results verify the validity of the design method for the LCL-filter.

A 3 kW Bidirectional DC-DC Converter for Electric Vehicles

  • A bidirectional DC-DC converter (BDC) is an indispensable electrical unit for the electric vehicles (EVs). High efficiency, high power density, isolation, light weight and reliability are all essential requirements for BDC. In this paper, a 3 kW BDC for the battery charger of EVs is proposed. The proposed converter consists of a half-bridge structure on the primary side and an isolation transformer and a synchronous rectifier structure on the secondary side. With this topology, minimum number of switching devices are required for bidirectional power flow between the two dc buses of EVs. The easy implementation of the synchronous rectification gives advantages in terms of efficiency, cost and flexibility. The proposed BDC achieves high efficiency when operating in both modes (step-up and step-down). A 3 kW prototype is implemented to verify theoretical analysis and the performance of the proposed converter.

The piezoelectric transformers operated in each transformer's resonance vibration mode. The electrodes and poling directions on commercially available piezoelectric ceramic disks were designed so that the planar or shear mode coupling factor $(k_p\;k_{15})$ becomes effective rather than the transverse mode coupling factor $(k_{31})$. ANSYS finite element code was used to analyze transformer behavior and to optimize electrode and poling configurations. The voltage step-up ratio of the proposed transformer has been markedly improved in comparison with that of the equivalent rectangular(Rosen) type. A single layer prototype transformer, $20\sim30mm$ in diameter and $1.0\sim3.5mm$ thick, was fabricated, such as step-up ratio, power transformation efficiency, and temperature were measured. While the transformer was driving a Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp(CCFL), the temperature field of the transformer was also observed.

  • The purposes of this study were to determine the functions of actions of the limbs during each of the three support phases of the triple jump and their relationships with the performance of the triple jump. Four elite male triple jumpers were participated as subjects. The Pearson product moment correlation coefficient were used to determine and compare the relationships between the change in each component of the normalized angular momentum of the whole body about center of gravity and the actions of the extremities during different support phases. A level of significance at $\alpha$=.05 was set. After analyzing the angular momentum and correlation during support phase of the hop, step, and jump, the following findings are obtained: The actions of the arms created a side-somersaulting angular momentum about the whole body center of gravity toward the side of the free leg during the support phase of the step, and a somersaulting angular momentum about the whole body center of gravity during each support phase. The action of the free leg created a somersaulting angular momentum about the whole body center of gravity during the support phases of the hop and step.

The Effect of Silicone Sleeve and Taping on Balance and Strength in Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Patients

  • Purpose: This study was to determine the effects of before and after application of silicone sleeve on balance and muscle strength in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction patients. Methods: 13 subjects who had one or more months after ACL surgery were involved. Dynamic balance, timed up and go (TUG), stair step, vertical jump, proprioception and isokinetic knee strength were measured while subjects under taped, untapped and silicone sleeve conditions. Results: For 30 seconds one-leg standing, there was a significant improvement under silicone sleeve on operated side with eyes open and both taping and silicone sleeve revealed similar effects with eyes closed (p<0.01). Application of silicone sleeve showed significant effects in proprioceptive function on the operated side compared to both taping and none (p<0.05). For stair step test, TUG and vertical jump was a tendency to improve after application of silicone sleeve, but no significant different. Muscle strength on operated side of quadriceps and hamstring was significantly improved compared with none or taping(p<0.05). Conclusion: Silicone sleeve application for ACL reconstruction patients was effective immediately on improving strength and balance. Therefore, depending on the intended use and the disease is considered appropriate use of silicone sleeve will be able to help prevention and functional movement.

뇌졸중 환자의 체간조절 능력과 동적균형 및 보행과의 상관관계 (The Relationships among Trunk Control Ability, Dynamic Balance and Gait in Stroke Patients)

  • Objectives: This study investigated the correlation among Postural Assessment Scale for Stroke (PASS), Timed "Up and Go" Test (TUG) and gait (velocity, cadence, step-length, stride-length and single-limb support). Methods: The 70 subjects were assessed on trunk control measured with the use of the PASS, dynamic balance (TUG) and gait function (by GAITRite). The data were analyzed using Pearson product correlation. Results: The PASS total scores were significantly correlated with PASS-M, PASS-C, and PASS-T (r =.80 ~ .88 p<.01). All items of the PASS were significantly correlated with TUG (r = -.63 ~ -.81 p<.01), velocity (r = .44~.58 p<.01), cadence (r =.38 ~.51. p<.01), affected side step length (r = .44 ~.56 p<.01) and affected side stride length (r = .45 ~.59 p<.01). But affected side single-limb support was lowly correlated with PASS-M, PASS-C, PASS-T and PASS-total (r = .25~.36 p<.05). Conclusions: Measures of trunk control were significantly related with values of dynamic balance and gait. Based on these results, trunk control is an essential core component of balance and gait. Trunk control training programs after stroke should be developed and emphasized.

기술혁신의 관점에서 본 균등요건의 치환자명성과 특허요건의 진보성의 관계 (Obviousness Standard and Ease of Interchangeability in the Doctrine of Equivalents)

  • 대법원은 97후2200에서 균등관계가 성립하기 위한 5가지 요건을 제시하였다. 이 중에서 세 번째 요건인 '치환자명성'이 특허요건 중 하나인 진보성을 판단할 때의 자명성과 같은 수준의 것으로 해석할 수 있는 것인지의 여부에 대하여 논쟁이 있다. 이들을 다르게 해석해야 한다는 입장에서는, 치환자명성 요건이 자명성 요건에 비하여 협소하다고 설명한다. 그리고 이들을 동일하게 볼 경우 특허발명에 대하여 진보성이 인정되지 않는 한 모두 균등영역에 포함되는 것으로 보게 되어 균등침해의 영역을 과도하게 확장하게 되는 문제가 있다고 한다. 반면에 이들을 같은 정도의 것으로 해석해야 한다는 입장에서는, 특허발명으로부터 용이하게 실시할 수 있는 기술 즉, 특허발명에 대하여 진보성이 없는 영역에 속하는 확인대상발명은 모두 균등침해에 해당하는 것으로 보아야 한다고 주장한다. 또한 균등론상 치환자명성과 진보성의 자명성을 서로 다르게 해석할 경우 특허법이 작용할 수 없는 소위 '회색영역'이 존재하게 되는 문제가 있다는 점을 지적한다. 이러한 견해의 차이는 권리범위확인 또는 균등론에 의한 침해 여부를 판단함에 있어서 상반되는 결과를 가져올 수 있다. 즉, 치환자명성 요건을 자명성 요건보다 좁게 보는 경우는 이들을 동일하게 보는 경우에 비하여 특허권의 권리범위를 좁게 해석하기 때문에 회색영역에 속하는 확인대상발명에 대하여 침해를 부인하게 된다. 그러나 반대로 이들을 동일하게 보는 경우 회색영역은 사라지고 확인대상발명은 균등론에 의하여 침해의 영역에 속하게 된다. 이 논문은 이러한 문제를 해결해 보고자 하는 시도에서 출발한 것이다. 이를 위하여 특허요건의 진보성 판단과 균등론의 치환자명성 판단을 각각 검토하고, 이들을 동일하게 보는 경우와 다르게 보는 경우를 기술혁신의 경제학적 관점에서 서로 대비한 결과 동일하게 보는 것이 합리적이라는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.
