가압식 분리막을 이용한 Side-Stream MBR 공정의 비정상 운전조건에서 막 오염 저감 (Fouling Mitigation for Pressurized Membrane of Side-Stream MBR Process at Abnormal Operation Condition)

  • 공기주입형 가압식 MBR 공정은 일반적인 침지식 MBR 공정과 마찬가지로 정상 운전조건에서 막 오염에 대한 제어 및 관리 기술뿐만 아니라 저유량, 저부하 조건과 같은 비정상 운전조건에서도 시설의 운영에 지장이 없도록 막 오염에 대한 제어 대책이 필요하다. $85m^3$/일 규모의 공기주입형 가압식 MBR 실증시설 운영을 통해 공기주입에 의한 분리막 오염 저감효과와 비상 시 운전조건에서 미생물에 의해 나타날 수 있는 막 오염 문제를 고찰하였다. 가압식 분리막에서 공기의 주입은 분리막 표면에서 공기방울에 의한 scouring 효과에 의해 TMP 상승 기간을 연장시키고 처리의 안정성과 높은 효율의 플럭스($40L/m^2{\cdot}h$ 이상)를 장시간 유지할 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 비정상 운전조건에서는 생물반응조에 PACl (53 mg/L as Al)을 주입한 경우 19%의 TMP 상승 감소효과가 있었으나 MBR 공정의 비정상 운전조건 지속에 따른 반복적인 PACl의 주입은 질산화 미생물의 활성도에 영향을 미치게 되어 궁극적으로 질소 처리효율이 악화될 수 있음을 회분식 배양 실험을 통해 확인하였다. 생물반응조에 PAC (0.6 g/L)을 주입한 경우에서는 연속운전 5일 동안 TMP 상승 없이 운전 초기 TMP인 $0.2kg/cm^2$을 유지하여 안정적으로 운전이 가능하였다. 이것은 미생물의 성장 저해조건에서 막 오염 원인물질을 유발하는 EPS와 같은 고분자 물질의 흡착에 따른 것으로 판단된다.

  • 리세스 길이가 다른 4개의 와류동축형 분사기를 적층제조 방식으로 제작하였다. 상압 환경에서 물과 공기를 모사추진제로 하여 단일분사 및 혼합분사 수류실험을 수행하였다. 리세스 길이와 추진제 유량 조건에 따른 분사차압과 유량계수를 확인하였고, 이미지 분석을 통해 분열길이와 분무각을 측정하였다. 혼합분사 분사차압 및 유량계수 결과에서 액체 분사기는 리세스에 영향을 받지 않았다. 하지만 기체 분사기는 리세스 길이 증가에 따라 분사차압이 증가하고 유량계수가 감소하였다. 단일분사 시 분열길이는 리세스 증가에 따라 길어졌지만, 혼합분사에서는 반대로 감소하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the in-cylinder flows and different injection timings on fuel behavior in the cylinder of a GDI engine. Three different flows types induced by using masked port, unmasked port, and port deactivation were tumble, swirl&tumble, and high swirl respectively. LIEF technique was applied to investigate the mixture formation and fuel distribution at ignition time in the transparent engine with optical access through the piston top and upper part of cylinder liner. Injection timings of 180,90, and 60 degrees before TDC were examined. It was found that tumble flow was more effective on the homogeneous mixture formation than other flow and swirl flow transported more fuel vapor to the exhaust side at early injection mode, and swirl and swirl & tumble flow made fuel vapor concentrate around the cylinder center at late injection mode.

자궁내막증 수술 후 GnRH-agonist 투여 중인 환자의 저에스트로겐 부작용에 대한 복합 한의 치료: 증례보고 (Complex Korean Medicine Therapy for Hypoestrogenic Side Effects of Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone Agonist Administration to Postoperative Endometriosis Patient: A Case Report)

  • Objectives: This study is to report the clinical effectiveness of the complex Korean medicine therapy on a postoperative endometriosis patient's hypoestrogenic side effects who is treated with GnRH-agonist injection. Methods: The patient in this case was diagnosed with endometriosis and has been treated with GnRH-a injection after laparoscopic operation. The patient complained hot flash and sweating mainly after GnRH-a treatment. The patient received complex Korean medicine therapy during 10 days admission period. The clinical effects were evaluated through KI (Kupperman's Index) and SF-36 (36 item Short Form Health Survey). Results: After the complex Korean medicine therapy, the various clinical symptoms including hot flash and sweating were improved. Also, the quality of life was enhanced. Conclusions: This case report shows that the complex Korean medicine therapy was effective for treating hypoestrogenic side effects occurred after GnRH-a treatment in postoperative endometriosis patient.

Clinical Safety and Efficacy of Kanglaite® (Coix Seed Oil) Injection Combined with Chemotherapy in Treating Patients with Gastric Cancer

  • Objective: To observe efficacy and side effects, as well as the impact on quality of life, of Kanglaite$^{(R)}$ (Coix Seed Oil) injections combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer patients. Method: A consecutive cohort of 60 patients were divided into two groups: the experimental group receiving Kanglaite$^{(R)}$ Injection combined with chemotherapy and the control group with chemotherapy alone. After more than two courses of treatment, efficacy, quality of life and side effects were evaluated. Results: The response rate and KPS score of experimental group were significantly improved as compared with those of the control group (P<0.05). In addition, gastrointestinal reactions and bone marrow suppression were significantly lower than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions: Kanglaite$^{(R)}$ Injection enhanced efficacy and reduced the side effects of chemotherapy, improving quality of life of gastric cancer patients; use of Kanglaite$^{(R)}$ injections deserves to be further investigated in randomized control clinical trails.

WDM-PON용 주입 잠금 패브리-페롯 레이저 다이오드의 시영역 대신호 모델링 (Time-domain Large-signal Modeling of Injection-locked Fabry-Perot Laser Diode for WDM-PON)

  • WDM-PON 용 저가형 광원으로 유망한 주입 잠금 패브리-페롯 레이저 다이오드의 특성 해석을 위한 모델링 방법을 제시하였다. 해석 방법으로는 시영역 대신호 모델을 이용하였으며, 계산 결과는 기존의 실험 결과와 유사한 경향을 보임을 확인하였다. 이를 토대로 특정한 파라미터를 가지는 레이저 다이오드 구조에서의 단면 반사율에 따른 동작 특성과 디튜닝, 아이 다이어그램등을 모델링 하였다. 특히 단면 반사율의 값에 따른 부모드 억제율 특성 및 디튜닝의 영향을 살펴보았으며, 주입되는 단면의 반사율이 1% 미만으로 유지되어야 안정된 특성을 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다. 아이 다이어그램의 경우 155 Mbps 급에서는 손쉽게 아이 열림을 얻을 수 있지만, 1.25 Gbps 급에서는 레이저 다이오드의 활성층 두께 등의 파라미터를 적정화해야 적정한 아이특성을 얻을 수 있음을 보였다.

자동차 부품의 강성 보강을 위한 섬유강화 플라스틱 사출성형품의 섬유 배향 및 기계적 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the fiber orientation and mechanical characteristics of injection molded fiber-reinforced plastic for the rigidity improvement of automotive parts)

  • Fiber-reinforced plastics(FRPs) have excellent specific stiffness and strength, so they are usually used as automotive parts that require high rigidity and lightweight instead of metal. However, it is difficult to predict the mechanical properties of injection molded parts due to the fiber orientation and breakage of FRPs. In this paper, the fiber orientation characteristics and mechanical properties of injection molded specimens were evaluated in order to fabricate automotive transmission side covers with FRPs and design a rib structure for improvement of their rigidity. The test molds were designed and manufactured to confirm the fiber orientation characteristics of each position of the injection molded standard plate-shaped specimens, and the tensile properties of the specimens were evaluated according to the injection molding conditions and directions of specimens. A gusset-rib structure was designed to improve the additional structural rigidity of the target products, and a proper rib structure was selected through the flexural tests of the rib-structured specimens. Based on the evaluation of fiber orientation and mechanical characteristics, the optimization analyses of gate location were performed to minimize the warpage of target products. Also, the deformation analyses against the internal pressure of target product were performed to confirm the rigidity improvement by gusset-rib structure. As a result, it could be confirmed that the deformation was reduced by 27~37% compared to the previous model, when the gusset-rib structure was applied to the joining part of the target products.

전류주입식 능동전력 필터를 위한 최적주입방법의 해석 (Analysis of Optimized Injection Method for Active Power Filter of Current Injection Type)

  • The active filter of current injection type is the device which eliminates the harmonics in ac line by injecting the harmonic compensating current into the ac side. And its harmonic reduction performance is entirely dependent on the control scheme of the current-fed inverter and the harmonic compensating current becomes the PWM wave by the inverter. This PWM compensating current can be determined by selecting the switching function properly which eliminates the harmonics up to any order with using no independent sources. The new injection current model is derived by the proposed method which is called the optimized injection method. The overall characteristics of the proposed method are investigated through digital computation and the feasibility is proved with experimental results obtained from the Z-80 microcomputer control of the active filter.

  • This research covers the development of axi-symmetric plastic elements for injection molding with insert steel such as high stiffness Sabot. The functional requirements of sabot are concentricity and fracture resistance about vertical and horizontal forces. For these, an analysis of characteristics of PEI(polyetherimide) polymer is performed by standard test specimen with accordance of ASTM test guidance. Moldflow analysis and simulation of injection molding process are carried out in order not only to estimate of the warpage but also to predict the characteristics of residual stresses which both product and structure of mold may have. A new vertical side injection machine and transverse mold have been constructed. Results of the measuring concentricity and fracture test after molding of sabot are satisfied to design specification over Cp $ratio{\geq}1.33$. Finally, this technique needs more research application to others axi-symmetric elements having different radius with insert steel md structure analysis from now on.

  • 본 연구는 중앙 물분사 방식을 채택한 액체로켓엔진 후류의 냉각에 대해 전산유체역학을 통한 특성을 고찰하였다. 중앙 물분사 방식의 냉각은 측면 물분사 방식과는 달리, 잘 알려져 있지 않기 때문에 다양한 물분사량과 유량을 통해 효율적으로 후류를 냉각시킬 수 있는 조건을 찾았으며, 해석을 통해 후류의 변화 특성을 살펴보았다. 이로부터 물분사 유량이 총추진제 유량의 2배 이상, 위치는 L/De=1.2일 때가 적당함을 알 수 있었다.
