The Analysis of maximum output power of PV module by solar cell Interval (PV모듈에서 태양전지의 간격에 따른 전기적 출력 특성 분석)

  • In this paper, we analyze the electrical characteristics of PV depending on distance among solar cells before and after lamination process. From the result, the PV module's maximum power increases about 3.37% when solar cells's distance is 10mm. And the maximum power increases up to 8.42% when solar cells's maximum distance is 50mm. It is assumed that PV module's surface temperature decreases because of increasing distance between solar cells that would give high power generation. Also, short distance between solar cell and frame result in contamination on glass. When considering reduced maximum power caused by contaminant, from that, we can fabricated PV module of lower cost with high performance.

  • Anti-drone means a device that detects and blocks the intrusion and activity of illegal drones, and includes technology that crashes illegal drones or destroys them in the air. This paper analyzes the impact of jamming due to remote drone detection with anti-drone technology. The impact of jamming signals may vary depending on the distance of the drone. The present invention has an advantage of simultaneously jamming a drone at a short distance and a drone at a long distance due to the generation of a triangular wave, and efficiently operates a battery by not transmitting the drone at a maximum power.Also, even if the jamming is not affected at a distance, the jamming effect is greater at a close range, so it can be influenced differently.

  • The study was conducted to develop two parallel short forms for the Convergent thinking and Problem solving questionnaires which are part of H University's core competency diagnostic tools, based on Multi-Item Response Theory. Item responses of 2,580 students were analyzed using Graded Response Model(GRM) to determine item difficulty and discrimination of each item. The research results are as follows. Two parrallel short tests were developed for the Convergent thinking questionnaire consisting of 12 items which were originally 17 items. Likewise, the Problem solving questionnaire, which originally consisted of 15 questions, was divided into two parallel short forms, each consisting of 9 items. The reliability of the shortened parallel tests was confirmed through internal consistency analysis, and their similarity to the original tests was established through correlation analysis. This study contributed to quality management of competency-based education and programs at H University by developing shortened tests. Based on the results, implications were presented as well as limitations and discussions.

Analysis of Passenger Transfer Patterns Based on Transit Smart Card Data in Seoul (서울시 대중교통 통행자 환승패턴 분석)

  • This study analyze the transfer patterns of passengers in Seoul based on transit smart card data that was observed in 2010. The smart card records maximum four times of transfer and reports that approximately 90% of trips were less than one transfer and the remains were more than 2 transfers. We focus on trips with more than 3 transfers to figure out the relationship between transit service and regional connectivities. The results show that the average travel time, distance, fare are 45 minutes, 18.3km, and 1,119(KW) respectively. We develope a map for investigating transfer patterns at a regional level(dong and gu). By doing this, three types of transfers are observed as: 1) trips of which origin and destination is either same or near, 2) trips with short distance, and 3) long distance trip with low transit connectivities.

  • In shuttle vans designed to transport children, the recognition of a child's approach and departure is very important. Ultrasonic sensors are generally used for a short distance around a vehicle. Although ultrasonic sensors are cheaper than other ADAS sensors, the number of sensors installed in a van should be optimized. In order to recognize the presence of a child around a shuttle van, this paper proposes the placement of ultrasonic sensors in the van. Considering the turning radius of the van and the distance from each sensor to a child, collision risk is classified as 'safe', 'warning', and 'danger'. The sensor placement and the recognition algorithm are verified in a virtual driving environment.

  • This area is covered in Andesite of high compression strength and located in PUSAN SEO-KU. There are many old houses around shaft site. So, we must have a cautious blasting operation. A total of 40 blasts were test at DAE-SHIN Shaft site to study the magnitude and frequency characterization of blast-induced vibration. The effect of viblating frequency on structual damage and site-specific scaling to define th empirical equations were also discussed. The result can be summarized as follows: 1. Some empirical equations were obtained. $V=K\{{\frac{D}{W}}1/3\}^{-n}$ where the values for n and K are estimated to be -1.407 to -2.202 and 643.3489 to 7283.2104 respectively. 2. Dominant frequencies at short distance are in the range of about 75.0 to 91.8 Hz, with some exceptions of about 50Hz, Frequencies observed at long distance are in the range of 10 to 2Hz. It is apparent the shift of dominant frequency down to lower levels at long distance.

  • The authors measured orthodontic force using the orthodontic materials of the Rocky Mountain Products Company. The results were as follows : ① Use latex of wide diameter in long distance, and when the latex of wide diameter activated by four or five times, we obtained a optimal force. ② The authors obtained canine retractions with sectional arch. Activation of sectional arch began at 1mm and had to do not activations of 3mm more. ③ The leveling started from .014 green round wire and finished to. 0.16" green Elgiloy round wire. Permit only a mild force in ideal arch form, in rectangular wire. ④ Fundamentaly, elastic thread obtained maximum force by activating as two times. ⑤ Coil spring obtained more heavy force from short distance than long distance.

  • The sensitivity analysis of two short-term models (ISCST3, INPUFF2.5) is performed to improve the model accuracy. It appears that the sensitivities on the changes of wind speed, stack height and stack inner diameter in the near distance from source, stability and mixing height in the remote distance form source, are significant. Also the gas exit velocity, stack inner diameter, gas temperature and air temperature which affect the plume rise have some effects on the concentration values of each model within the downwind distance where final plume rise is determined. And in modeling for the atmospheric dispersion of point pollutant source INPUFF2.5 can calculate amount, trajectory of puff and concentration versus time at each receptors. So, it is compatible to analyze distribution of point pollutants concentration at modeling area.

  • A short distance laser range detector was developed on digital circuit. The circuit changed the analog circuit to digital circuit as possible as. The currently available laser range circuit one uses analog circuit mainly. But this ranger design targeted mass production with digital reporting function. So digital circuits replaced the analog circuit except amplifier and remained minor circuits those are hard to replace with digital circuit. The simulation shows that it is possible to make a reasonable distance measuring circuit on a digital circuit for very low price compare to analog circuit one.

  • In this paper, we design the signal processing unit to effectively support the proposed algorithm for an automotive Frequency Modulation Continuous Wave(FMCW) radar. In the proposed method, we can obtain the distance and velocity with improved error depending on each range(long, middle, and short) of the target. Since a high computational capacity is required to obtain more accurate distance and velocity for target in near range, the proposed signal processing unit employs the time de-interleaving and the frequency interpolation method to overcome the limitation. Moreover, for real-time signal processing, the parallel architecture is used to extract simultaneously the distance and velocity in each range.
