The Qualitative Study on the Evaluation and the Application of 3D scan and virtual try-on technology (3차원 스캔과 가상 착의 기술의 평가와 활용에 관한 질적연구)

  • According to the activation of the fashion electronic commerce, this research investigated the merits and demerits and improvement plan of the 3D virtual try-on technology using the qualitative research method. This research was performed by interview with 70 evaluation group. The evaluation group of 3D virtual try-on was organized and the fit evaluation process by 3D human body scan and the 3D virtual try-on of the i-Fashion technology center were experienced. This study was performed by interview after the actual and virtual try-on about the casual shirt. The convenience and accuracy of measurement, usability in online shopping, body evaluation, complement of sizing system, and body shape management were discovered as merits. The requirement of high accuracy in sizing and avatar, limits of fabric expression, practical limitation by cost, vexatious of measurement garment, differences between real and virtual fittings, personal information leakage risk, and etc were pointed out as demerits. The mass customization, customized garment connected with medical service, humanized avatar, improved fitting report, entertainment, coordination, wardrobe manager were proposed as improvement plan.

  • So far the study of digital home has mainly been made up of the network technology and the sorority system, but the application to consider the discriminatory characteristics of the individual family members has been interested in comparison with the necessity. The system proposed in this study is to get the information of the internal users through the access-controlling system. The controller offers the discriminatory environment by activating the database of the internal users and controls the sub-system of the home-network. The suggested system can automatically offer the discriminatory environment among the family members by limiting TV programs or channels according to the users' age, by offering other internet environment according to the users, by putting restrictions on telephone numbers, or by restricting the settling right of the home-shopping companies.

  • Interesting education which utilizes cyber visual and audio multimedia effects, we regard it as a very effective education but those programs are not prepared yet. So, the purpose of this research is to provide a new direction for cyber fashion education with the use of avatars as the multimedia factor to increase student's interest and understanding. First, we investigated the present situation of fashion cyber education and the present avatar usage situation online, and also we searched literature and the internet to investigate the general theory of design. Second, we used Adobe photoshop 7.0 to make avatars, then, we used Macromedia Flash MX to design the avatar on our web site, and to make it look more realistic. According to the research results, cyber fashion education is usually used as marketing in certain areas, and for middle school, and high school students it is mainly used as text and lecture videos. When searching for fashion sites that use avatars, we found that most fashion shopping malls use them. Because avatars can give visual effects and also increase interest and fun, they can increase concentration and understanding and can be effective in fashion cyber education.

  • Proper consumer segmentation is receiving more attention from industry professionals as markets become more diverse and consumer-centered. Researchers have recognized the limitations of the traditional cluster analysis technique and this research study analyzes market segmentation using Mixture-model or latent-class segmentation. This study used a questionnaire to determine the characteristics of clothing shoppers using a new technique that proved its superiority over traditional techniques. Questions included items measuring fashion shopping behavior, store choice criteria, apparel consumption styles, price perception by product type, and demographic characteristics. Data were collected from 1074 males and females in their 20s and 30s through an online survey. SPSS 16.0 and Latent GOLD 4.0 were used to analyze the data. The ideal typology of clothing shoppers using the Mixture-model were: 'brand loyalty orientated group', 'group of conservative late 30s', 'group of pleasure-emotion early 20s', 'value oriented consumer product with high-income group', 'group of eco/symbol oriented consumer', and 'group of utility/goal oriented male consumer'. This study showed differences in fashion product purchasing behavior by conducting market segmentation for clothing shoppers using the Mixture-model.

  • With an advent of XML(extensible markup language), researches on electronic commerce based on XML have been conducted by many organizations and companies. Although these researches described electronic catalogs, they are not sufficient because in the catalogs, the product information are not classified properly, and are not organized hierarchically. In this paper, we analyse and classify information that can use to describe various products. And then, we suggest the modes that can describe the various products information through the complement of existing researches, and we apply it over several products on the Web. The uses of this model supports flexibility and facility to the product offers such as internet shopping malls.

  • Recently, as individual 3D avatars are rapidly generalized in internet sites, its commercial applications for fashion business are being tried in ubiquitous fashion shopping era. In this research, we have investigated and analyzed patent problems of 3D avatar including personal body data to activate the fashion business using 3D avatars. Here, considering the patents for 3D face and body generation methods are already published, this research is focused on whole 3D body avatar obtained from individual body information. Firstly, definition of 3D avatar and its application cases have been investigated and then it has been researched whether or not legal protections by patent law, copyright law, computer program protection law, design protection law and fair competition laws are feasible in view of the subjects to be protected in each law and requirements for such protections. It was revealed that patent law may provide legal protections for 3D avatar and domestic and foreign patents related to 3D avatar have been researched.

  • Now is the time for web-based video e-mail system because of world wide use of internet. But video data is so large, then data compression is much needed for transmission by web. In this paper, my colleagues and I implement full motion video e-mail system using MPEG-4, the international standards for audio-visual data. This video e-mail system is made of web-based active-X control, so easily accessible by web, and applies real-time audio-video compression. It's possible for everyone to send video e-mail for free to everywhere in the world if this system is used. The main application areas of this system are multimedia mailing service, web-based video advertisement, remote education, remote medical service and shopping mall construction, etc.

  • An OLAP system is the decision support tool with which a user can analyze the information interactively in the various aspects. However, the traditional existing construction of an OLAP system has the inefficiency problem of increasing the time and cost caused by the frequent changes of the users requirements. In this paper, we analyse existing construction procedure of OLAP systems and propose a prototyping OLAP View based on the star schema which can help and guide the designer In supporting efficiently of users requirements. Through an implementation of S shopping mall using the OLAP View, we show that our proposal is able to support OLAP construction strategy and provide accurate understanding of data resources. With an OLAP View, we can reduce the required time and cost of implementing OLAP system.

  • RFID is applied in various industry area. The purpose of RFID system is authentication of objects. After Tag's certification, RFID system start to process to be wanted. A RFID electric motor recognizes Tag's action and tails. The application of this system is very wide. For example, a cart in shopping Mall follows customer with a proper Tag. Customer may be very convenient if the cart follows customer autonomously as recognizing the direction of Tag. In this parer, we studied about RFID system that follow objects with a Tag. Finally, we experimented and analysed the proposed system, with Tag, Reader, host computer and electric motion motors.

Research Trend Analysis on Customer Satisfaction in Service Field Using BERTopic and LDA

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to derive various ways to realize customer satisfaction for the development of the service industry by exploring research trends related to customer satisfaction, which is presented as an important goal in the service industry. Research design, data and methodology: To this end, 1,456 papers with English abstracts using scienceON were used for analysis. Using Python 3.7, word frequency and co-occurrence analysis were confirmed, and topics related to research trends were classified through BERTopic and LDA. Results: As a result of word frequency and co-occurrence frequency analysis, words such as quality, intention, and loyalty appeared frequently. As a result of BERTopic and LDA, 11 topics such as 'catering service' and 'brand justice' were derived. As a result of trend analysis, it was confirmed that 'brand justice' and 'internet shopping' are emerging as relatively important research topics, but CRM is less interested. Conclusions: The results of this study showed that the 7P marketing strategy is working to some extent. Therefore, it is proposed to conduct research related to acquisition of good customers through service price, customer lifetime value application, and customer segmentation that are expected to be needed for the development of the service industry.
