부산지역 수리조선업 정보시스템 발전 방향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development Direction of Information System in the Ship repair and Shipbuilding Industry in Busan)

  • 세계 수리조선 시장 규모가 급격히 확대되고 다변화 추세가 지속되고 있는 가운데, 국내 수리조선업은 높은 기술 수준 대비 높은 기술 수준 대비 인프라 부족, 신조 시장 집중, 기술 인력 고령화, IT 시스템 부재, 기업의 영세성의 이유로 경쟁력을 상실하고 있다. 국내 수리조선업의 정보화 수준은 타 산업 군 대비 매우 낮은 수준으로 정보시스템 개발에 대한 시도는 있었지만, 성공한 사례는 흔치 않다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 부산지역의 수리조선업을 영위하고 있는 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 통하여 수리조선업의 정보화 관점에서의 전략통합 및 조직통합의 필요성을 파악하고자 한다. 그 후 부산지역 수리조선소 주요 업체와의 대면인터뷰를 통하여 수리조선업의 정보시스템 발전 방향을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 수리조선업 디지털 전환 필요성을 제고하고, 정보시스템 구축 및 적용 과정에 있어 유의미한 방향을 제공할 것으로 판단된다.

선박 선체에 대한 수리작업 공정분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Repair Process Analysis of Ship Hul Part)

  • The global ship repair and modification market is expected to grow up to approximately $ 30 billion by 2025. Korea's shipbuilding industry is leading the world grounded on its international competitiveness in design and production technology. The reality, however, is that the ship repair and modification industry is centered on Gyeongnam, and there are only two to three ship repair workplaces that can repair large ships. Therefore, domestic ship repair companies target small and medium-sized ships mainly. This is because there are few workplaces equipped with a large dock in which large ships like LNG ships can be inspected regularly or repaired, complaints are severe for environmental problems, and related environmental regulations are so strict that it is very hard to obtain government approval for the extension of ship repair and modification workplaces or the opening of new shipbuilding sites. Besides, on account of the workers' high wages, few experts related, and higher ship repair price compared to that of Southeast Asia, most of the volume of repairing large ships including domestic LNG ships is being lost to Southeast Asian or Chinese markets. In this study, the work process and pre-work preparation process for ship hull (winch, windlass, hatch cover, ramp door, cargo gear, anchor chain) repair were analyzed and presented to foster domestic ship repair experts and revitalize related industries.

It is progressing for the research on port model of new concept that connect port-related business to be developed from base running simple cargo processing to universal port that has economical efficiency and competitiveness, This research shows development way of Busan port that connect ship-repair industry which is port-related business. Development way is especially handled link between port and ship-repair industry field activation of high value-added ship as LNG etc.

선박 수리작업장의 표준공정 및 환경 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Standard Process and Environmental Analysis in Ship Repair Workshop)

  • It is expected that the global market for vessel repair and remodeling will grow up to the scale of about 25 billion dollars by 2023. Korea's shipbuilding industry is leading the world with its international competitiveness in design and production technology. The actual status of vessel repair industry, however, is poor as there are only two or three companies for vessel repair that can deal with large vessels in the area of Gyeongnam. The reason is that civil complaints are filed severely about environmental problems and environment-related regulations are so strict that it is fairly hard to get governmental approval for the operation of a vessel repair workplace. Domestic vessel repair companies mainly target small- and medium-sized vessels. There are only few workplaces that can carry out regular examination or repair work on large vessels such as LNG vessels, and due to the high price of vessel repair, most of the domestic repair work on large vessels including LNG vessels tends to be snatched by markets in Southeast Asia or China. Despite the tremendous domestic demand of Korea that has established the world's first shipbuilding industry and world's sixth biggest harbor infrastructure, its vessel repair industry can be said to be in very poor condition. In order to vitalize vessel repair industry, this study is aimed to analyze the environmental influence of vessel repair workplaces in Gyeongnam where vessel repair companies are concentrated and suggest standard processes by analyzing vessel repair processes precisely.

선박수리업의 전문인력 확보를 위한 도제식 교육 적용에 대한 제의 -중소조선연구원의 교육 프로그램을 중심으로- (Proposal Related to The Application of Apprenticeship Education for Securing the Professional Manpower in the Ship-repair Industry - Focused on the Educational Program of RIMS -)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a company-centered apprenticeship educational program to secure professional manpower in the ship repair industry. There are various efforts to secure professional manpower across industries. However, it is very rare in the ship repair industry. In this study, we analyzed the educational program implemented by Research Institute of Medium & Small Shipbuilding(RIMS) with considering their problems. We also studied the apprenticeship education for improving a few problems of RIMS's program. As a result, we presented the new educational program by integrating the concept of apprenticeship education into the current educational program with two main points as belows. 1) the necessity of the convergence with a company-centered apprenticeship education. 2) the necessity of a training program with a focus on the global market environment.

  • 2000년대 이후 한국의 조선산업은 설계 및 생산기술력의 국제경쟁력을 바탕으로 세계를 선도하는 조선 1위국의 위상을 다져왔다. 최근 중국의 급격한 경제성장으로 인해 아시아 주요 3국(한국, 일본, 중국)의 해상물동량은 전 세계 해상물동량의 30%에 달하며 한국 해운산업 역시 새로이 건설된 대형 항만의 활성화에 힘입어 세계 10위권에 해당되는 등, 선박 수리 분야에 대한 막대한 국내 수요에도 불구하고 한국의 수리조선산업에 대한 경쟁력 분석을 수행한 연구는 드문 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 수리조선소 경쟁력의 주요지표인 입지여건, 수리비용 및 기술경쟁력을 중심으로 세계 주요 수리조선국과의 국제경쟁력을 비교 분석한다.

개조된 케이슨 플로팅 도크의 구조 보강에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Structural Reinforcement of the Modified Caisson Floating Dock)

  • 선박 수리시장은 선박에 의한 환경오염 방지 강화, 선박구조에 대한 안전기준 강화 등의 영향으로 유지 및 보수에 관한 관심이 꾸준히 증대되고 있다. 이러한 영향을 반영하여 서남해에 있는 수리 조선사들에 외국 선사들의 수리 요청 접수 건수가 증가하고 있다. 그러나, 서남해권 수리 조선사들은 영세한 중소업체가 대부분이라서 수리조선 업체의 통합적 시너지 효과로 이어지기가 쉽지 않고, 집적화가 되어있지 않아서 인프라 공동활용이 어려워서 수리조선업 활성화에 걸림돌로 작용하고 있다. 수리조선업을 운영하기 위해서는 플로팅 도크가 필수적으로 필요로 하며, 대부분 노후화된 케이슨 도크를 해외로부터 수입한 후, 개/보수를 통하여 운용하고 있다. 그러나, 사용 수명이 30년 이상이고, 구조물 검사 기준이 없어서 안전분야에 취약성을 갖고 있다. 본 연구에서는 개조된 케이슨 도크의 구조 안전성을 평가하고, 도출된 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 추가적인 구조 보강안을 찾기 위하여 유한요소해석 프로그램인 ANSYS를 활용하였다. 플로팅 도크의 경우, 선급 규정이 있지만 구조강도 관련해서는 규정이 미흡하여 적용성이 떨어지고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 부족한 평가 영역에 대해서는 상세 구조해석을 통하여 보완하였다. 보강안은 수리조선소 작업의 특성을 고려하여 폰툰 갑판 상부 보강과 선측 탱크 보강으로 결정하였다. 결정안에 대한 구조해석을 통하여 선측 보강안을 최종안을 선정하였고, 실제 구조물을 제작하여 보강안을 반영하였다. 도출된 주요 결과들은 유사 설비의 구조 강도 개선을 위한 참고 자료로 활용 가능하며, 개/보수 시 이러한 방법을 활용하면 빨리 최적 해를 찾을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

PCTC 박판 블록 용접 변형에 관한 연구 (A Study on Welding Deformation of thin plate block in PCTC)

  • The use of thin plate increases due to the need for light weight in large ship. Thin plate is easily distorted and has residual stress by welding heat. Therefore, the thin plate should be carefully joined to minimize the welding deformation which costs time and money for repair. For one effort to reduce welding deformation, it is very useful to predict welding deformation before welding execution. There are two methods to analyze welding deformation. One is simple linear analysis. The other is nonlinear analysis. The simple linear analysis is elastic analysis using the equivalent load method or inherent strain method from welding experiments. The nonlinear analysis is thermo-elastic analysis which gives consideration to the nonlinearity of material dependent on temperature and time, welding current, voltage, speed, sequence and constraint. In this study, the welding deformation is analyzed by using thermo-elastic method for PCTC(Pure Car and Truck Carrier) which carries cars and trucks. PCTC uses thin plates of 6mm thickness which is susceptible to welding heat. The analysis dimension is 19,200mm(length) * 13,825mm(width) * 376mm(height). MARC and MENTAT are used as pre and post processor and solver. The boundary conditions are based on the real situation in shipyard. The simulations contain convection and gravity. The material of the thin block is mild steel with $235N/mm^2$ yield strength. Its nonlinearity of conductivity, specific heat, Young's modulus and yield strength is applied in simulations. Welding is done in two pass. First pass lasts 2,100 second, then it rests for 900 second, then second pass lasts 2,100 second and then it rests for 20,000 second. The displacement at 0 sec is caused by its own weight. It is maximum 19mm at the free side. The welding line expands, shrinks during welding and finally experiences shrinkage. It results in angular distortion of thin block. Final maximum displacement, 17mm occurs around welding line. The maximum residual stress happens at the welding line, where the stress is above the yield strength. Also, the maximum equivalent plastic strain occurs at the welding line. The plastic strain of first pass is more than that of second pass. The flatness of plate in longitudinal direction is calculated in parallel with the direction of girder and compared with deformation standard of ${\pm}15mm$. Calculated value is within the standard range. The flatness of plate in transverse direction is calculated in perpendicular to the direction of girder and compared with deformation standard of ${\pm}6mm$. It satisfies the standard. Buckle of plate is calculated between each longitudinal and compared with the deformation standard. All buckle value is within the standard range of ${\pm}6mm$.

  • 최근 심각한 환경오염과 경제 불황으로 인해 리엔지니어링에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 조선분야에 대한 리엔지니어링은 꾸준히 진행되어 왔으나 국내에서의 선박 수리 및 유지보수 산업의 기술력과 인지도는 조선해양산업에 비해 떨어진다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 기술개발의 일환으로 레이저 클래딩을 주목할 수 있다. 레이저 클래딩은 희석률이 낮고, 기공이 거의 존재하지 않는 우수한 클래드 층을 형성하므로 본 연구는 선박용 배기밸브 페이스에 레이저 클래딩 적용을 위한 기초연구로써 다양한 공정변수에 따른 1패스 클래드 층의 특성을 조사하였다. 그 결과, 출력이 증가할수록 클래드 층의 폭은 넓어지고 높이는 감소하였다. 또한 클래드 층의 경도를 측정했을 때 경도 값이 점차 감소하였으며 EDS 성분 분석을 통해 클래드 층 전체가 희석되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

작업관련 근골격계질환의 요양재해 추이 분석 및 위험요인과 유병률에 관한 고찰 (Analysis of Trends in Patients with Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders and Literature Review of Risk Factors and Prevalence)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze the recent trends in patients with work-related musculoskeletal disorders in South Korea and to check the major results by reviewing the literature on the risk factors and prevalence of musculoskeletal diseases related to work. Methods: Industrial disaster data from the Ministry of Employment and Labor from 2012 to 2021 were used, and the literature was reviewed regarding risk factors for musculoskeletal diseases related to work using PubMed and RISS. Results: The trend of patients with work-related musculoskeletal disorders has increased overall since 2017 after declining until 2016, with a particularly notable increase in the average annual number of patients with physical burden work. The average annual rate per ten thousand people for patients with body burden work, non-accidental lower back pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome among work-related diseases was high in the mining industry. The average annual rate per ten thousand people for patients with accidental lower back pain was the highest in the fishing industry. Within the manufacturing field, it was the highest in the shipbuilding and ship repair industry. As a result of the literature review, the search rate for work-related musculoskeletal disease papers in unstructured work was high. In addition, physical stress factors were high among risk factors, and pain areas showed a high rate for the waist. Conclusion: Even after the institutional implementation of a hazard investigation system related to musculoskeletal diseases is implemented, the number of patients with occupational musculoskeletal disorders continues to increase. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct regular surveys and implement effective improvement activities for vulnerable industries or occupations.
