한계상태설계법-AASHTO LRFD를 적용한 쉴드터널 세그먼트 라이닝의 구조해석 영향인자 평가 (An evaluation of influence factors based on the limit state design-AASHTO LRFD for structural analysis of shield tunnel segment lining)

  • 최근 토목구조물의 설계에 있어 한계상태설계법 적용이 세계적인 추세이나, 국내에서는 소수의 구조물에 국한되어 사용되고 있다. 주요 지중구조물인 터널에 대해서는 한계상태설계법의 도입이 근래에 시도되고 있으므로, 최신의 한계상태 설계법에 대한 이해가 반드시 필요하다. 본 연구는 최근 발간된 AASHTO LRFD Road Tunnel Design and Construction Guide Specification (2017)을 토대로 세그먼트 터널라이닝 설계 시 구조물 하중계수, 하중조합 등을 고찰하고 이외에 구조 검토 시 반영되어야 할 다양한 영향인자에 대해 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 국내에 적용되고 있는 전력구, 지하철 터널 단면을 대상으로 한 세그먼트 라이닝의 구조해석을 통하여, 지반조건과 하중수정계수, 이음부 강성조건 등 다양한 영향인자들이 부재력에 미치는 영향을 분석 평가하였다.

다양한 지반 및 지진하중 조건을 고려한 해저철도 터널의 동적 수치모델 분석 (Analysis on dynamic numerical model of subsea railway tunnel considering various ground and seismic conditions)

  • 최근 기계식 터널 굴착기술의 발전과 수압을 받는 해저철도 터널의 특성 상 쉴드TBM 공법이 해저철도 터널 설계 및 시공에 널리 적용되고 있다. 해저철도 터널은 일반적인 지중응력상태에서 거동하지 않고 외부 수압이 상시재하되는 상태이며 지진 시 지진파의 증폭에 의한 영향을 받게 된다. 특히 연약지반, 연약토사-암반 복합지반, 단층파쇄대 등 다양한 지반조건 하에서 작용하는 지진하중은 터널 변위 및 지보재 응력의 급격한 변화를 초래하여 터널 안전성에 큰 영향을 미친다. 또한 지진하중의 주기특성, 지진파형, 최대가속도 등의 재하조건에 따라 지반 및 터널의 동적 응답이 달라지며 이는 지반조건과 결합하여 더욱 복잡한 지반-터널 구조물계의 거동을 보여주게 된다. 본 연구에서는 해저철도 터널의 동적거동 평가를 위하여 수압을 고려하여 지반-터널 구조물계 전체를 유한차분해석 기법으로 모델링 하고 상호 지진 시 구조물 응답을 분석하였다. 해저철도 터널의 지진 시 동적 거동에 영향을 미치는 주요 인자는 지반조건과 지진파이므로 가상 지반조건에 따라 총 6가지의 해석 Case를 설정하였다. 가상 지반조건은 해석 대상영역의 지반이 모두 토사(풍화토)인 경우(Case-1), 모두 암반(경암)인 경우(Case-2), 터널 진행방향(종방향)으로 토사와 암반의 복합지반인 경우(Case-3), 암반 내 폭이 상대적으로 좁은 파쇄대(w = 2.0 m)를 터널이 통과하는 경우(Case-4), 터널 진행방향(종방향)으로 연약토사와 암반의 복합지반인 경우(Case-5), 암반 내 폭이 상대적으로 넓은 파쇄대(w = 10.0 m)를 터널이 통과하는 경우(Case-6)으로 구분하여 각각 모델링을 수행하였다. 해석 결과 지진에 의한 수평변위는 지반물성 증가에 따라 커지는 경향을 나타내었으나 주변 지반의 구속효과와 강성 세그먼트로 결합된 쉴드터널 구조물의 특성으로 인하여 다소 억제되는 경향도 함께 관찰되었다. 세그먼트의 부재력은 변위 발생 경향과는 달리 지반 강성이 약할수록 현저히 증가하는 경향을 나타내었으며 오히려 변위 억제 효과에 따른 부재력 증가가 뚜렷하게 관찰되는 특성을 확인하였다.

  • Recently the low alloy steel plate made with manganese-molybdenum is used widely in steam drum and separator of the new coal-fired power plant boiler. This material is suitable for the vapor storage of high pressure and high temperature. The high temperature creep strength of Mn-Mo alloy is higher than the carbon plate(SA516) that used in the subcritical pressure boiler. It reduces the thickness of the pressure vessel and makes the lightweight possible. Recently in the power plant boiler operation and production process, the damage has happened frequently in the heat affected zone and base material according to the hydrogen crack and delayed crack. This paper describes the research result about the damage case experienced in the boiler steam drum production process and present the optimum manufacture method for the similar damage prevention of recurrence.

증기발생기 수실 노즐댐 설치 및 제거작업의 피폭선량 저감에 영향을 주는 관리요인에 관한 연구 (Managerial Factors Influencing Dose Reduction of the Nozzle Dam Installation and Removal Tasks Inside a Steam Generator Water Chamber)

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the effective managerial factors influencing dose reduction of the nozzle dam installation and removal tasks ranking within top 3 in viewpoint of average collective dose of nuclear power plant maintenance job. Background: International Commission on Radiation Protection (ICRP) recommended to reduce unnecessary dose and to minimize the necessary dose on the participants of maintenance job in radiation fields. Method: Seven sessions of nozzle dam installation and removal task logs yielded a multiple regression model with collective dose as a dependent variable and work time, number of participants, space doses before and after shield as independent variables. From the sessions in which a significant reduction in collective dose occurred, the effective managerial factors were elicited. Results: Work time was the most important factor contributing to collective dose reduction of nozzle dam installation and removal task. Introduction of new technology in nozzle dam design or maintenance job is the most important factor for work time reduction. Conclusion: With extended task logs and big data processing technique, the more accurate prediction model illustrating the relationship between collective dose reduction and effective managerial factors would be developed. Application: The effective managerial factors will be useful to reduce collective dose of decommissioning tasks as well as regular preventive maintenance tasks for a nuclear power plant.

SECFR 시스템의 차량적용을 위한 분무균일도향상에 관한 연구 (A Study for Improving Spray Uniformity of the SECFR System for Vehicle Applications)

  • Lower recirculated gas temperature at EGR system reduces NOx and PM emissions. However, EGR Cooler can be polluted by PM generated from recirculated EGR gas, and it reduces cooling efficiency and the amount of EGR gas simultaneously. The SECFR(Steam EGR Cooler Fouling Remover) system which uses the evaporated washer fluid steam caused by high temperature of EGR gas was manufactured for removing fouling generated on the cooler surface. Since an injection pressure of wind shield washer fluid in the vehicle is approximately 0.5 bar, it is not enough to atomize the injected washer fluid. Thus, it is necessary to apply a method to atomize the washer fluid. In this study, the impinging plate was used to promote the atomization of spray washer fluid for the purpose of apply SECFR system to vehicles and measured the DAR(Droplet Area Ratio) and DUI(Droplet Uniformity Index) through the spray visualization.

  • Two shot molding is one of the injection method which uses two materials or two color materials simultaneously in one mold. Two shot molding is good rate of productivity and economical because of no extra-progress necessary. The cowl grille is located in the bottom of wind shield glass and rolls as a passage of air inlet to inside of vehicle. It consists of body and seal. Firstly, the body is injected with PP. Next seal is extruded with EPDM and engineered and then assembled with body. These procedures lead high cost of production and the quality of part has problems. Therefore, it has effects on saving production cost and being a solution of the quality problems with the development of two shot molding cowl grille. It is guaranteed that two shot molding will be widely used in the vehicle parts industry afterwards.

인공어초 주변의 흐름장에 관한 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis of the Flow Field around Artificial Reefs)

  • This study investigated the fluid force acting on an artificial reef and the scour pattern at the bottom of the artificial reef in a steady-flow field using the finite difference method (Flow-3D). The structure was tetragonal in shape, like similar objects found in nature. The numerical analysis showed that the hydrodynamic characteristics and incipient scouring pattern matched natural phenomena. The velocity distribution around the tetragon was symmetric and wake occurred inside the tetragon and behind the bottom of the tetragon. The length of the recirculation flow behind the tetragon for each velocity was about 4-5 cm and the magnitude of the recirculation flow inside the tetragon generally increased with the Reynolds' number, although it decreased slightly for Reynolds' numbers from 11,000 to 12,000. In addition, the total fluid force acting on the tetragon increased with the inflow velocity, although the increment was smaller when the velocity exceed 18 cm/sec. The incipient pattern for the scouring of sediment matched the natural phenomenon.

  • The RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) is an automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data using devices called RFID tags or transponders. Some RFID tags have been used in severe environment of temperature ranged from $200^{\circ}C$ to $250^{\circ}C$ for a long time and may cause serious problems such as signal error, short life cycle and explosion. Conventionally, the RFID tags for high temperature applications consisted of Fe-alloy housing part, ceramic powder and RFID sensor. However, it has disadvantage of heavy weight, signal noise and heat shield capability. In this study, we newly applied the aluminum porous materials fabricated by polymer leaching process into RFID tags in order to improve heat shielding ability, and compared the properties of RFID tag inserted by aluminum porous with the conventional one.

Commercializing of HTS power cable is coming. Simulation is required for safety before install of HTS power cable, a fabrication model used at the power system simulation. In this paper, we shows a single line-to ground fault analysis in the grid system which has a loom length HTS power cable. The authors developed a single line-to ground fault current calculation method which is considering the shield layer of HTS power cable. In the calculation, the T type equivalent circuit is used to derive the mutual inductance of the HTS power cable
