We have investigated the seed layer formation of front side contact using the inkjet printing process. Conductive silver ink was printed on textured Si wafers with 80 nm thick $SiN_x$ anti reflection coating (ARC) layers and thickened by light induced plating (LIP). The inkjet printable sliver inks were specifically formulated for inkjet printing on these substrates. Also, a novel method to prepare nano-sized glass frits by the sol-gel process with particle sizes around 5 nm is presented. Furthermore, dispersion stability of the formulated ink was measured using a Turbiscan. By implementing these glass frits, it was found that a continuous and uniform seed layer with a line width of $40{\mu}m$ could be formed by a inkjet printing process. We also investigated the contact resistance between the front contact and emitter using the transfer length model (TLM). On an emitter with the sheet resistance of $60{\Omega}/sq$, a specific contact resistance (${\rho}_c$) below $10m{\Omega}{\cdot}cm^2$ could be achieved at a peak firing temperature around $700^{\circ}C$. In addition, the correlation between the contact resistance and interface microstructures were studied using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). We found that the added glass particles act as a very effective fire through agent, and Ag crystallites are formed along the interface glass layer.

The laser welding and its analysis were carried out using high power 6kW $CO_2$ laser for high strength steels such as DP, TRIP and conventional high strength steels. Bead on plate welding of thin sheet was examined to investigate the effect of weld variables of laser welding, and to obtain optimum welding condition. In order to investigate the formability of welded high strength steels, LDH test was added on this work. At high welding speed, the partial penetration was obtained by low heat input. Meanwhile, porosity was formed in the bead at low weld speed because of extremely higher heat input. The optimum welding condition of welding was derived from bead width, penetration and hardness property. It was shown that the DP steels had lower porosity level and smooth bead shape, therefore better laser weldability than TRIP steels and conventional high strength steels. In addition, LDH test shows that the welded DP steels have about $90\%$ formability value of base metal, although TRIP steel and conventional high strength steels have about $80\%$ formability value of its base metal.

Thick film photolithography is a new technology in that the lithography process such as exposure and development is applied to the conventional thick film process including screen-printing. In this research, low-temperature cofireable silver paste, which enabled the formation of thick film fine-line using photolithographic technology, was developed. The optimum composition for fine-line forming was studied by adjusting the amounts of silver powder, polymer and monomer, and the additional amount of photoinitiator, and then the effect of processing parameter such as exposing dose on the formation of fine-line was also tested. As the result, it was found that the ratio of polymer to monomer, silver powder loading, and the amount of photoinitiator were the main factors affecting the resolution of fine-line. The developed photosensitive silver paste was printed on low-temperature cofireable green sheet, then dried, exposed, developed in aqueous process, laminated, and fired. Results showed that the thick film fine-line under 20$\mu\textrm{m}$ width could be obtained after cofiring.

In the recent construction industry, FRP is highly interesting in strengthening members of structures because it has superior material properties. This paper is an experimental study on the structural behavior of reinforced concrete beam when in using various amount of CFRP and the ductility of beams using various type of CFRP. In the experiment, when it makes an experiment using various amount of CFRP, strengthening width is more efficient than strengthening layer. The failure of CFRP strengthened beams presented brittle modes with having flexural failures. Also, It represented that most of beams classify brittle failure in the side of energy ratio. Energy ratio of CFRP sheet comparing with CFRP plate exceeds overall 50% and it represents about 70% in case of beams without strengthening layer.

To compare an electrical and optical characteristics of indium tin oxide (ITO) and carbon nanotube (CNT) electrode on flexible and reflective display, we fabricate two charged particle-type display panels under the same panel condition of which the width of ribs is 10 ${\mu}m$, the cell size is $300{\mu}m{\times}300{\mu}m$, the q/m value of the white particles is -4.3 ${\mu}C/g$ and that for the black is +1.3 ${\mu}C/g$, and the cell gap is 75 ${\mu}m$, 125 ${\mu}m$, and 175 ${\mu}m$. We use plastic substrates coated with ITO and CNT electrode. To evaluate optical property, we measure a response time of particles using a laser and a photodiode. Threshold and driving voltages of CNT electrode according to the sheet resistance of 300, 600, 1,000 (ohm/sq) are compared with ITO electrode of 10 (ohm/sq). A response time of the CNT panel is similar to that of ITO panel, but the threshold and driving voltages of CNT panel are higher than that of ITO panel, inducing a large bombardment of the particles and shortening the lifetime of the panel. High difference of a threshold and a driving voltage of CNT panel will induce an particle clumping, resulting degradation of the panel. A bending radius of the fabricated CNT panel is 18 ${\mu}m$.
This study was carried out to analyze the landslide characteristics and forest environment factors on the landslide area of 7 national parks in korea. The results obtained from this study were summarized as follows; The total number of landslide occurrence was 44 areas. The average length of the landslides scar was 152 m, average width was 17 m. And the average area was $2,818m^2$. The factors influencing landslides were highly occurred in Metamorphic rock, mixed forest type. And also, $30{\sim}35^{\circ}$ in slope gradient, NE in slope aspect, slope higher than 1,000 m, concave (凹) type in vertical and cross slope, 0 ordered stream. The main factors affecting landslide area in stepwise regression analysis were sheet type in landslided shape, NE in slope aspect, 2 ordered stream, SE in slope aspect, slope gradient and complex slope in cross slope type in order of regression coefficient.

Fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) laminate sheets, which are lightweight with high strength, are commonly used to reinforce concrete structures. The bonding strength is vital in structural design. Therefore, experiments and analytical studies with differing variables (concrete compressive strength and tensile strength, the elastic modulus of concrete and FRP, thickness of concrete and FRP, width of concrete and FRP, bond length, effective bond length, fracture energy, maximum bond stress, maximum slip) have been conducted to obtain an accurate numerical model of the bond strength between an FRP sheet and concrete. Although many models have been proposed, no validated model has emerged that could be used easily in practice. Therefore, this study analyzed the parameters that influence the bond strength that were used in 23 of the proposed models (Khalifa model, Iso model, Maeda model, Chen model, etc.) and compared them to the test results of 188 specimens via the numerical results of each model. As a result, an easy-to-use practical model with a simple and high degree of expression was proposed based on the Iso model combined with the effective bond length model that was proposed by Holzenkӓmpfer.
A sample of ultra low carbon IF steel was processed by six-layer stack accumulative roll-bonding (ARB) and annealed. The ARB was conducted at ambient temperature after deforming the as-received material to a thickness of 0.5 mm by 50% cold rolling. The ARB was performed for a six-layer stacked, i.e. a 3 mm thick sheet, up to 3 cycles (an equivalent strain of ~7.0). In each ARB cycle, the stacked sheets were, first, deformed to 1.5 mm thickness by 50% rolling and then reduced to 0.5 mm thickness, as the starting thickness, by multi-pass rolling without lubrication. The specimen after 3 cycles was then annealed for 0.5 h at various temperatures ranging from 673 to 973 K. The microstructural evolution with the annealing temperature for the 3-cycle ARB processed IF steel was investigated in detail by transmission electron microscopy observation. The ARB processed IF steel exhibited mainly a dislocation cell lamella structure with relatively high dislocation density in which the subgrains were partially observed. The selected area diffraction (SAD) patterns suggested that the misorientation between neighboring cells or subgrains was very small. The thickness of the grains increased in a gradual way up to 873 K, but above 898 K it increased drastically. As a result, the grains came to have an equiaxed morphology at 898 K, in which the width and the thickness of the grains were almost identical. The grain growth occurred actively at temperatures above 923 K.
In nature, many small insects are using jumping as a survival strategy. Among them, fleas jump in a unique method. They use an elastomer, 'Resilin', an extensor muscle and a trigger muscle. By contracting the extensor muscle, the elastic energy, that makes a flea to jump, is stored in the resilin. After storing energy, the trigger muscle begins contracting and pulling the extensor muscle. When the extensor muscle crosses the rotational joint, direction of torque generated from the extensor muscle reverses, 'torque reversal mechanism'. Simultaneously, the elastic energy stored in the resilin releases rapidly and is converted into the kinetic energy. It makes a flea to jump 150 times its body length. In this paper, miniaturized jumping robot using flea-inspired catapult mechanism is presented. This mechanism is based on the 4-bar linkage and the reversal joint and is actuated by Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) coiled springs describing the flea's muscle. The robot prototype is fabricated by SCM process using glass fiber prepregs and a sheet of polyimide film. The prototype is 20mm link length, 34mm width and 2.0g weight and can jump 103cm.

To substitute indium tin oxide (ITO), many substituents have been studied such as metal nanowires, carbon based materials, 2D materials, and conducting polymers. These materials are not good enough to apply to an electrode because theses exhibit relatively high resistance. So metal grids are required as an additionalelectrode to improve the conductivities of substituents. The metal grids were printed by electrohydrodynamic printing system using Ag nanoparticle based ink. The Ag grids showed high uniformity and the line width was about $10{\mu}m$. The Ag nanoparticles are surrounded by dispersants such as unimolecular and polymer to prevent aggregation between Ag nanoparticles. The dispersants lead to low conductivity of Ag grids. Thus, the sintering process of Ag nanoparticles is strongly recommended to remove dispersants and connect each nanoparticles. For sintering process, the interface and microstructure of the Ag grid were controlled in 1.0 torr Ar atmosphere at aound $400^{\circ}C$ of temperature. From the sintering process, the uniformity of the Ag grid was improved and the defects on the Ag grids were reduced. As a result, the resistivity of Ag grid was greatly reduced up to $5.03({\pm}0.10){\times}10^{-6}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$. The metal grids embedded substrates containing low pressure Ar sintered Ag grids showed 90.4% of transmittance in visible range with $0.43{\Omega}/{\square}$ of sheet resistance.
