Electric-field coupled power transfer (ECPT) systems have been proposed as an alternative wireless power transfer (WPT) technology in recent years. With the use of capacitive plates as a coupling structure, ECPT systems have many advantages such as design flexibility, reduced volume of the coupling structure and metal penetration ability. In addition, wireless communications are effective solutions to improve the safety and controllability of ECPT systems. This paper proposes a power and signal shared channel for electric-field coupled power transfer systems. The shared channel includes two similar electrical circuits with a band pass filter and a signal detection resistor in each. This is designed based on the traditional current-fed push-pull topology. An analysis of the mutual interference between the power and signal transmission, the channel power and signal attenuations, and the dynamic characteristic of the signal channel are conducted to determine the values for the electrical components of the proposed shared channel. Experimental results show that the designed channel can transfer over 100W of output power and data with a data rate from 300bps to 120 kbps.

This paper considers the reliability estimation of a two-component shared-load system based on Freund model. Maximum likelihood estimator, order restricted maximum likelihood estimator and uniformly minimum variance unbiased estimator of the reliability function for the system are obtained. Performance of three estimators for moderate sample sizes is studied by simulation.

Objectives: The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of shared-decision making on patient satisfaction. The study is significant since it focuses on developing appropriate methodologies and analyzing data to identify patient preferences, with the goals of optimizing treatment selection, and substantiating the relationship between such preferences and their impact on outcomes. Methods: A thorough literature review that developed the framework illustrating key dimensions of shared decision making was followed by a quantitative assessment and regression analysis of patient-perceived satisfaction, and the degree of shared-decision making. Results: A positive association was evident between shared-decision making and patient satisfaction. The impact of shared decision making on patient satisfaction was greater than other variable including gender, education, and number of visits. Conclusions: Patients who participate in care-related decisions and who are given an explanation of their health problems are more likely to be satisfied with their care. It would benefit health care organizations to train their medical professionals in this communication method, and to include it in their practice guidelines.

The Homeshare Program was promoted to solve the housing problems of the elderly and the young by the Seoul City in 2012. The elderly can provide spare rooms in their homes for the young at low rental fees, and the young can provide daily services to the elderly, cooperating with each other for better housing and life. The aim of this research is to find out how the participants use the shared space and what kinds of activities are shared in homeshare. This research uses case studies, which interviews 10 cases of homeshare in Seoul. The contents of the research are investigated shared spaces of the elderly, and analyzed contents of interaction lives in shared spaces. The elderly experience loneliness while living alone, and having someone to live with gives them comfort and a sense of security, and this is one motive for participating in homeshare. The elderly and the young share many equipment and shared activities and interactions in shared space. The homeshare program makes it possible for the elderly to aging in place and have interactive relationships with different generations. Therefore, homeshare may the formation of a new family, and new dwelling utilizing the elderly's house.

The development of ICT technology centered on mobile smart platforms have been emerging as a shared economic platform based on collaborative consumption. In this study, we analyze what factors affect success and failure in commercialized shared economic platforms from 2008 to 2016, and present what policy factors are needed to activate shared economic platform. To do this, we analyze successful cases of shared economic platforms and failed cases, derive key variables that affect success and failure, and conduct inductive analysis based on ID 3 algorithm based on them. Through this, we present the policy factors for the commercial success of the shared economic platform by deriving the rules for the success and failure of the shared economic platform.

Due to the relative lack of concerns and research on organizational career development in startups, we study aimed to reveal the impact of shared leadership in startups on organizational career development through organizational commitment. The research method was an online survey targeting 200 startup members from April 11 to April 28, 2023, and a total of 195 copies were used in the final analysis. As a result of the study, first, among the shared leadership of startups, development and mentoring were found to have a positive impact on emotional commitment. Second, among the shared leadership of startups, planning and organizing, support and empathy were found to have a positive impact on continuous commitment. Third, planning and organizing, support and empathy had a positive impact on normative commitment. Third, among startups' shared leadership, planning and organizing, support and empthy had a positive impact on normative commitment. Fourth, emotional and continuous commitment were found to have a positive impact on improving career goals in organizational career growth. Fifth, emotional and continuous and normative commitment were each found to have a positive influence on the development of professional abilities in organizational career development. Lastly, emotional, continuous and normative commitment were all found to have a positive influence on the speed of promotion in organizational career growth. As a result, it is expected that the results of this study will be able to suggest shared leadership policy directions and goals for startups.

Spectral clustering has become a typical and efficient clustering method used in a variety of applications. The critical step of spectral clustering is the similarity measurement, which largely determines the performance of the spectral clustering method. In this paper, we propose a novel spectral clustering algorithm based on the local similarity measure of shared neighbors. This similarity measurement exploits the local density information between data points based on the weight of the shared neighbors in a directed k-nearest neighbor graph with only one parameter k, that is, the number of nearest neighbors. Numerical experiments on synthetic and real-world datasets demonstrate that our proposed algorithm outperforms other existing spectral clustering algorithms in terms of the clustering performance measured via the normalized mutual information, clustering accuracy, and F-measure. As an example, the proposed method can provide an improvement of 15.82% in the clustering performance for the Soybean dataset.

The memory coherence problem occurs while mapping shared virtual memory in a loosely coupled multiprocessors setup. Memory is considered coherent if a read operation provides same data written in the last write operation. The problem is addressed in the literature using different algorithms. The big question is on the correctness of such a distributed algorithm. Formal verification is the principal term for a group of techniques that routinely use an analysis that is established on mathematical transformations to conclude the rightness of hardware or software behavior in divergence to dynamic verification techniques. This paper uses UPPAAL model checker to model the dynamic distributed algorithm for shared virtual memory given by K.Li and P.Hudak. We analyse the mechanism to keep the coherence of memory in every read and write operation by using a dynamic distributed algorithm. Our results show that the dynamic distributed algorithm for shared virtual memory partially fulfils its functional requirements.

The fundamental concept of shared street is integration of traffic and pedestrian activity as a positive principle for street planning. Shared streets have been very successful in several countries in terms of reductions in traffic accidents, increased social interaction and children's play, and a high degree of satisfaction by the residents. This paper proposes the concept of shared street to solve traffic problem without reorganizing traditional street structure and without disturbing traditional function of street as a living space for residents. And this study examines detail concepts and techniques of the shared street and applies them to a pedestrian oriented streetscape design of "Ducksugung-Gil," Seoul, which was one of the most important streets in Korean modernization history.n history.
