비드 형상 최적화를 이용한 전방 측면 부재의 충돌 최적화 연구 (A Study on Crashworthiness Optimization of Front Side Members using Bead Shape Optimization)

  • 본 논문은 위상최적화 기법을 이용하여 전방측면 부재를 최적화 한다. 전방측면 부재에 최적화를 진행하기 전에 사각단면 부재에 최적화를 진행한다. 목적함수는 1 차 좌굴 계수가 길이방향으로 최소화되도록 설정한다. 설계변수는 법선방향으로 질점의 이동이다. 사각단면부재의 반응표면법을 이용한 최적화 모델과 위상최적화 모델에 대해 충돌해석을 수행한다. 위상최적화 기법을 검증하기 위해 두 결과를 비교한다. 그 결과 위상최적화 기법을 충돌해석에 적용할 수 있다는 것을 확인하고 실제차량의 전방측면부재에 적용한다. 결과적으로 전방측면 부재는 최적화되고 내충격성이 향상한다.

Application of Remote Sensing and GIS technology for monitoring coastal changes in estuary area of the Red river system, Vietnam

  • Coastline is the most dynamic part of seascape since its shape is affected by various factors. Coastal zone is an area with immense geological, geomorphological and ecological interest. Monitoring coastal change is very important for safe navigation, coastal resource management. This paper shows a result of monitoring coastal morphological changes using Remote Sensing and GIS. Study was carried out to obtain intensity of erosion, deposition and sand bar movement in the Red River Delta. Satellite images of ALOS/AVNIR-2 and Landsat were used for the monitoring of coastal morphological changes over the period of 1975 to 2009. Band rationing and threshold technique was used for the coastline extraction. Tidal levels at the time of image acquisition varied from -0.89m to 2.87m. Therefore, coastline from another image at a different tidal level in the same year was considered to get the corrected coastline by interpolation technique. A series of points were generated along the coastal line from 1975 image and were established as reference points to see the change in later periods. The changes were measured in Euclidean distances from these reference points. Positive values represented deposition to the sea and negative values are erosion. The result showed that the Red river delta area expanded to the sea 3500m in Red river mouth, and 2873m in Thai Binh river mouth from 1975 to 2009. The erosion process occurred continuously from 1975 up to now with the average magnitude 23.77m/year from 1975 to 1989 and 7.85m/year from 2001 to 2009 in Giao Thuy area. From 1975 to 2009, total 1095.2ha of settlement area was eroded by sea. On the other hand, land expanded to the sea in 4786.24ha of mangrove and 1673.98ha of aquaculture.

자동차 LED Head Lamp의 방열을 위한 Heat Sink의 수치해석적 연구 (A Study on the Numerical Analysis of Heat Sink for Radiant Heat of Automotive LED Head Lamp)

  • 본 논문은 자동차 LED head lamp의 방열을 위한 히트싱크(heat sink)의 설계요소를 변화시켜 방열특성을 알아보고자 수치해석을 수행하였다. 수치해석에 적용한 히트싱크는 LED를 광원으로 사용하는 기존제품(Type 1)을 바탕으로 한정된 내부공간에 적합하도록 설계하여 5가지 Type으로 설계하였다. 설계된 히트싱크의 수치해석은 ANSYS CFD V12.1을 사용하여 히트싱크의 변화에 따른 온도분포와 평균온도, 공기유동특성, 열유속 등을 분석하였다. 수치해석을 통하여 방열판의 구조와 휜 형상에 따른 방열특성의 상관관계를 도출할 수 있었으며, 설계된 히트싱크의 온도분포, 공기의 유동특성, 열유속 등을 분석한 결과, 히트싱크 Type 2가 다른 Type들에 비해 LED head lamp의 방열을 위해 적합한 특성을 나타내었다.

A Study on Path Planning Algorithm of a Mobile Robot for Obstacle Avoidance using Optimal Design Method

  • In this paper, we will present a deeper look on optimal design methods that are related to path-planning for a mobile robot. To control the motion of a mobile robot in a clustered environment, it's necessary to know a suitable trajectory assuming certain start and goal point. Up to now, there are many literatures that concern optimal path planning for an obstacle avoided mobile robot. Among those literatures, we have chosen 2 novel methods for our further analysis. The first approach [4] is based on HJB(Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman) equation whose solution is the return-function that helps to generate a shortest path to the goal. The later [5] is called polynomial-path-planning approach, in this method, a shortest polynomial-shape path would become a solution if it was a collision-free path. The camera network plays the role as sensors to generate updated map which locates the static and dynamic objects in the space. Therefore, the exhibition of both path planning and dynamic obstacle avoidance by the updated map would be accomplished simultaneously. As we mentioned before, our research will include the motion control of a true mobile robot on those optimal planned paths which were generated by above algorithms. Base on the kinematic and dynamic simulation results, we can realize the affection of moving speed to the stable of motion on each generated path. Also, we can verify the time-optimal trajectory through velocity tuning. To simplify for our analysis, we assumed the obstacles are cylindrical circular objects with the same size.

지하철 터널 환경에서 다양한 안테나에 따른 2.45GHz 대역의 경로손실 및 지연 특성 (Path Loss and Delay Characteristics According to Various Antennas at 2.45GHz in Subway Tunnel Environment)

  • 전파 특성의 이해는 무선 통신 시스템의 설계와 서비스의 구축을 위해 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 곡선형 지하철 터널환경에서 2.45GHz 주파수 대역의 전파 특성을 측정하고 분석하였다. 슬라이딩 코릴레이션 기반의 채널 측정 시스템을 구성하고 안테나의 빔 형태에 따른 특성을 비교하기 위해 5 종류의 안테나를 사용하였다. 터널내 경로손실은 자유공간에 비하여 안테나에 따라 평균 $4.38^{\sim}14.41dB$가 적고 원편파 안테나의 경로손실이 가장 적다. 또한 곡선구간에서 수신 안테나의 위치가 바깥쪽에 위치할 때 경로손실이 가장 적다. 모든 안테나의 지연성분의 90%가 20ns 이내에 존재하며, 지향성 안테나가 무지향성 안테나보다 더 넓은 코히어런스 대역폭을 갖는다. 측정결과 경로손실과 지연 특성을 고려할 때 지하철 터널에서는 원편파 안테나를 사용하는 것이 적합한 것으로 판단된다.

통도사 상로전 영역의 공간구성 변화 고찰 (A Review on Changes in Spatial Formation of the Sangrojun Area in Tongdo Temple)

  • The Tongdo temple have been transformed continuously since its first establishment about 1300 years ago. Nevertheless three critical elements specified by 'Jajangyulsa', founder of the temple have not varied over the times but rather strengthened and strongly combined. All elements and doctrines of the religion coexist and form a harmony within the whole of the temple. This researcher examined what changes, or combinations, in spatial formation were sought for such unique structures of the Tongue temple by focusing mainly on the Sangrojun area of the temple to obtain the following findings. First. unlike a work by a Japanese researcher 'Sekino Tadashi', the east yard of the main building was found located on the section line which corresponded to the separation line of Yungkuncheokdo(營建尺度=measure running) from the edge of the Keumkangkyedan(金剛戒壇 =Buddhist platform) embankment to the corner column of the Kamrodang. This was confirmed as a result of the review of photos shown in [Chosun Kojukdobo]. Second, the number of stairs used for the Keumkangkyedan was thought to become three when the temple was firstly restored in 1379 as a result that this researcher reviewed Chinese literature 'DoSun' and [Kyedandokyung(戒壇圖經)], records by 'Lee saek' and 'Jung Shihan', studies of Yungkun measure and actual changes in the temple. Then the temple was forth restored in 1705 when the second of the stairs was changed in area and height and at the same time grounded hard for a space for a Buddhist service. Third, the roof of the main building was probably changed in shape during the Koryo period when the plane structure, furnish arrangement, emphasized front, stone lanterns of the building and political factors of that time were all considered. Fourth, the main building was Initially designed to provide a Buddhist sermon service which was assumedly followed by a similar service at a Keumkangkyedan. Thus the main building had a small window on the northern side which might be opened up to look out or otherwise go outside like a door. However, the window was probably locked up like a surrounding wall since the main building was entirely repaired after the end of Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592.

Emgu CV를 이용한 자동차 번호판 자동 인식 프로그램의 성능 평가에 관한 연구 (Study on Performance Evaluation of Automatic license plate recognition program using Emgu CV)

  • 자동차 번호판 인식은 대중적인 감시 기술 중의 한 종류로서, 주어진 비디오나 영상 내 광학문자 인식을 수반한다. 번호판 인식은 자동차 번호판 국부화, 번호판의 크기, 차원, 명암대비, 밝기를 조정하는 정규화, 개별문자를 얻어내는 문자 분할, 문자를 인식하는 광학 문자 인식, 번호판의 형태, 크기, 위치 들이 연도별, 지역별로 차이가 있는 번호판들의 데이터베이스를 비교하여 구문 분석을 하는 절차를 거친다. 본 논문에서는 EmguCV를 이용하여 구현한 번호판 감지를 수행하여 위치를 찾아내고, 오픈 소스 광학 문자 인식 엔진으로 잘 알려져 있는 테서렉트 OCR을 이용하여 번호판의 문자를 인식하는 자동 인식 프로그램을 구현하고 번호판의 촬영 각도, 크기, 밝기에 대한 성능평가 결과에 관해 기술하였다.

Random Sample Consensus를 이용한 포인트 클라우드 실린더 형태 매칭 (Matching for Cylinder Shape in Point Cloud Using Random Sample Consensus)

  • 포인트 클라우드 데이터는 어떠한 형태를 표현하기 위해 무수히 많은 점들을 갖는 데이터 집합으로 특정 벡터 시스템에서 표현될 수 있으며, 일반적으로 3차원 좌표 공간에서 다양한 특성을 갖게 된다. 본 논문은 3차원 좌표 시스템의 포인트 클라우드에서 기존 방법(Hough Transform)보다 빠른 실린더 형태의 파이프 추정을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 비교적 빠른 RANdom SAmple Consensus(RANSAC)를 사용한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 실린더 형태의 파이프 추정은 두 가지 형태의 수학적 모델을 근거로 파라미터를 계산하고, 결과를 조합하여 예측한다. 두 가지 수학적 모델은 구(Sphere)와 직선(Line)이며, RANSAC 적합을 통해 실린더의 축과 반지름이 될 수 있는 구의 파라미터(중심과 반지름)를 계산하고, 이를 직선화하여 실린더를 추정한다. 이는 법선 추정(Normal Estimation) 및 분할(Segmentation) 없이 비교적 정확도를 유지하며, 빠르게 실린더 매칭을 할 수 있게 한다. 빠른 실린더 매칭은 실시간 파이프 추정이 필요한 레이저 스캐닝 및 건설 역설계 분야에서 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

김 양식장 채취선의 운항거동과 수확조업에 관한 연구 (A study on the havesting process and operating behaviour of working ships for farming laver)

  • We analyzed the cutting mechanism of laver harvesting machine in the sea area near Gooam Port in Goheung, Jeollanam-do, and investigated the change and efficiency of laver collecting operation in the working ship. The laver working ship slides uniformly from the bow to the upper part of the laver collecting machine on the deck and cuts the wet laver attached to the bottom of the net at the blade of the havesting machine. The laver farming net, which was loaded with laver turrets on the deck by gravity and collected primitives, consisted of a ship structure that led to the stern side and into the sea. The working ship operation is in harvesting process while driving in a S-shape that is separated by one space to efficiently collect the laver net. During laver working ship operation, the speed was 0.51 m/s in the access stage, 0.56 m/s in the havesting stage, and 0.52 m/s in the exit stage. Considering the cutting edge life and production efficiency of the laver harvesting machine, it is appropriate to harvest 1.15 to 1.26 kg/rpm by operating at a rotational speed of about 700 to 800 rpm rather than forcibly harvesting the product at high speed. On the deck of the working ship, 959.7 kg of starboard and 1048.7 kg of center were 964.7 kg of port side. Based on the starboard, 9.3% of the central part and 0.5% of the port side appeared. The reason for this was due to the difference in harvest time according to the turning direction of the working ship.

건축과 패션의 비교를 통해 고찰한 구조적 단순성 (Structural Simplicity Examined from a Perspective of the Comparison of Architecture and Fashion)

  • Fashion and architecture essentially have structure to build space for a form of three dimensions. This study defines the form in which structure in itself becomes design as structural simplicity and investigates design paying attention to only structure. It is one of efforts in order to display new design required in the age of a flood of design and it is considered that before developing design through the fusion of architecture and fashion, understanding structure which is the most fundamental element to constitute the form of the two genres will be a groundwork to develop proper fusion design. This study elucidates similarities between architecture and fashion through literature review and investigates structure meant in architecture and fashion, and after that, collects corresponding examples through related literature and fashion information site. For structural simplicity in architecture, structure of a building in itself is a form and decoration at the same time, and it appears as a form of minimizing other elements and stressing the structure only. Structure in fashion means composition line which essentially exists to embody two dimensional materials onto three dimensional human body. As elements of geometric lines are creatively expressed by a designer in order to constitute three dimensional form from structural simplicity, they connote a variety of functions and exert decorative effects as well. And the shape of structure expressed like this is employed as a tool to show off the designer's techniques.
