  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate cybersex addiction, gender egalitarianism, sexual attitude and the allowance of sexual violence in adolescents, and to identify the relationships among these variables. Method: The participants were 690 students from two middle schools and three high schools in Seoul. Data was collected through self-report questionnaires which included a cybersex addiction index, a Korean gender egalitarianism scale for adolescents, a sexual attitude scale and a scale for the allowance of sexual violence. The data was analyzed using the SPSS program. Results: Of the adolescents, 93.3% reported not being addicted to cybersex, 5.7% reported being mildly addicted, 0.4% moderately addicted, and 0.6% severely addicted. Cybersex addiction, gender egalitarianism, sexual attitude and the allowance of sexual violence in adolescents were different according to general characteristics. Cybersex addiction of adolescents correlated with gender egalitarianism, sexual attitude and the allowance of sexual violence. Conclusion: Gender egalitarianism, sexual attitude and the allowance of sexual violence in adolescents were influenced by cybersex addiction. Therefore, nursing interventions for prevention and management of cybersex addiction need to be developed and provided to adolescents. In addition, varied programs for teaching sexuality to adolescents should be developed and provided.

  • Sexual addiction is accompanied with anxiety, psychological and physical dependence. Also, sexual addict want to make their presence through sexual adventures and seem sexually obsessed. In this study, we examined the changes of brain activity related to sexual addiction by utilizing the developed multi-sensory therapy after 4-weeks sex offender treatment program. We analyzed the electroencephalogram (EEG) activity changes in the subjects and regions of brain. As a result, the theta wave significantly increased after treatment than before (p < 0.001). The absolute alpha wave was increased whereas the relative alpha waves were decrease significantly (p < 0.001). The results could conclude that multi-sensory therapy on sex offender shows more stable status against sexual stimulations. Moreover, the reduction of the relative alpha waves in parietal lobe of sex offender is correlated to the less attention on sexual stimulations. The multi-sensory therapy not only provides a neurobiological explanation, but also can be used for clinical implications, i.e. prevention and treatments, for sex addiction.

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the characteristics of intervention programs for internet/smartphone addiction among adolescents through an integrative literature review. Methods: We searched MEDLINE(PubMed), CINAHL, Embase, DBpia, RISS, and KISS using a combination of "Internet or $phone^*$," "$addicti^*$," "adolescent," and "intervention or program or therapy." The searched studies were reviewed according to the criteria and an integrative literature review was conducted on the 14 selected papers published from January 1, 2013 to November 14, 2017. Results: Through the integrative review and analysis, a total of four attributes of interventions and their effects were derived. First, the number of group-focused interventions was significantly higher than that of individual-focused ones. Second, the interventions addressed various aspects of adolescents' problems while considering the complex nature of addiction problems. Third, there was a bias for region and sexual ratio. Lastly, most studies were actively conducted in community-based counseling or psychology settings. Conclusion: It is necessary to find more effective methods for addressing internet/smartphone addiction among adolescents through multidisciplinary approaches, including the consideration of various cultural and gender characteristics. This study provides a basis for developing future programs addressing addiction problems among adolescents.

  • This study suggests a proper studying direction of research on relationship addiction problem. And it presents fundamental research data by analysing domestic research trends of relationship addiction among various crises of people have addiction problem. For analysis of trends on relationship addiction, I searched almost all master's and doctoral dissertations and academic journals which were studied on "addiction", "relationship addiction", "addiction relationship" from 2005 to 2019 in Korea. Also I have surveyed various publications in the data base of Research Information Sharing Service, academic research data base, the National Assembly Library and the National Central Library in Korea. And for the reasonable results, I have studied the research according to 4 steps such as "collecting data and analyzing precedent research", "building analysis criterion", "cording and analysis", "making conclusion and suggesting the development direction" The results of this study are like these. The total number of researches on relationship addiction is 67. The object of those studies were limited adult's or undergraduate students's relationship addiction. So it is necessary that the fields of relationship addiction research are expanding gradually. And the research shows that the relationship addiction problem is directly related with sexual prostitution. Therefore, there are enough needs to study more in diverse, different point of view. Also it is suggested that the proper analyses methodology of relationship addiction shoud be used and new analysis criterions should be developed. In this study, the necessity of further more study is proposed in various ways of methodology about the relation of social problem and relationship addiction. And from this study, it is proved that expending the objects and fields of the study on relationship addiction, the factors analysis on addiction, study models of addiction must be necessary to be studied.
