A Basic Study on Data Estimation Model of Production-installation Using Mathematical Algorithm in Free-Form Concrete Panel (비정형 콘크리트 패널의 수학적 알고리즘을 이용한 생산-설치 데이터 생성모델 기초연구)

  • Unlike the past, supported by the development of digital technologies, free-form buildings are frequently designed with creative thoughts of architectural designers. However, there are some difficulties preventing successfully completion of projects, like reduced productivity and increased construction duration and cost upon the process of producing and installing concrete panels for free-form structures. In particular, there are active studies on the CNC machine for production of free-form concrete panels. Yet, it is difficult to effectively and easily come up with information on production and installation of free-form, curve-surfaced panels which are difficult to be mathematically defined. This requires a lot of manpower and time to implement the curved surfaces of free-form buildings as intended by architects. Accordingly, it needs a model that can effectively create production-installation data of free-form concrete panels for successful free-form building projects. Thus, the purpose of the study is to suggest data estimation model of production-installation using mathematical algorithm in free-form concrete panels. The study results will realize effective production and installation of free-form concrete members, allowing improved productivity of projects, reduced cost and shortened construction duration.

  • Research on ship motion and seasickness is recognized as the important research area to ensure the pleasant operative environment in addition to the research of operation safety of ship. In this paper, The motion performance in waves for the training ship Kaya of Pukyong National University is obtained by using the computer program based on Strip method. To guarantee the pleasant seafaring in ocean, the vertical acceleration of ship motion is calculated according to the hull form modification. The results of calculation by changes of hull form are compared with the guideline of MSI(Motion Sickness Incidence). The degree of motion sickness is shown and discussed through the comparison between calculated vertical acceleration spectrum and MSI guideline.

  • Mutagen X (MX), 3-chloro-4-(dichloromethyl)-5-hydroxy-2(5H)-furanone is one of the most potent directing acting mutagen ever tested in SAL TA100 assay. Although MX analogues have been synthesized, tested for mutagenicity and modeled by structure-activity relationship (SAR) methods, the mechanism of interaction of these compounds with DNA to produce their remarkable mutagenic potency remains unresolved. MX exists as an equilibrium mixture of both ring and open form in water. This equilibrium is very fast for Ames test. Because the mixture is not separable by experimental methods, it is not clear which one is really responsible for the observed mutagenicity. There have been many debates that which one is really responsible for the observed mutagenicity. We used ab initio methods for the MX analogues. It seems both ring and open form could react with DNA bases as electrophiles. However, every open form has consistently lower LUMO energy than corresponding ring form. It is reasonable to assume that the major reaction will go through via open form for MX analogues. This suggest that the open form is more likely really mutagenic.

  • This research presents about an expert estimation method to develop a HEMU Original Form of streamline nose. It has difficult part to check to the thought of the designer. We presented the course to extract the Original Form through the form data base this part. But it is the form to be extract in logical method. It is important both intuitional part and sensual part of designer in the course which the form is developed innovative. We extract the factor of the innovation which the experts consider who a sensual brain activity is special and the experience degree is high. We do the structuring the estimation system. And than, we made the method to apply at the practical affairs.

  • Present Saam acupuncture can be divided into two types of Therapeutic part that is composed of physiology, pathology, classification of the symptoms, treatment and Experiential part that is composed of clinical case. Therapeutic part is authored by Saam and experiential part is authored by Ji-san. Experiential part is based on therapeutic part, but it has been changed. So, Measuring "chapter10. Saam acupuncture(apply to therapeutic part)" against "chapter11. Clinical case of Ji-san(apply to experiential part)", Author get to know that experiential part of Saam acupuncture has been changed. "chapter10. Saam acupuncture(apply to therapeutic part)" and "chapter11. Clinical case of Ji-san(apply to experiential part)" belong to "TaeHanUiHakJeonJip Acupuncture part" that is similar to manuscript of Saam acupuncture. The following is changed situation of Saam acupuncture. First, While the theory of Jeong form is already established in therapeutic part, the theory of Seung form is established in experiential part. So, In experiential part, they are equal in their relations. Second, In experiential part, the term that is named 'prescription of ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$' has been used since experiential part. Third, Some of spots on the body suitable for acupuncture mentioned in therapeutic part are omitted in experiential part. And to conclude, experiential part play a large role in the establishment and change of early Saam acupuncture.

An Experimental Study on the Punching Shear of Slab with Polystyrene Form (폴리스티렌 폼을 사용한 슬래브의 뚫림전단에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • When using the light-weight form with polystyrene on slab, as a result of reducing the weight of slab, the span was increased or size of supporting member for slab was decreased. But capacity of punching shear resistance on the slab using the polystyrene form with plat plate system was deteriorated at critical section around the column. But standard for estimate of internal force did not exist, and established study was insufficient. This study performed the experiment on the punching shear for understanding punching shear force at the slab-column connection using the slab with polystyrene form. The principal variable was size of column, arrangement of polystyrene form and existence of shear reinforcement, and we planned four specimens. From the test, we analysed the crack, failure mode, road-displacement graph and punching shear strength, and capacity of punching shear resistance for slab using the polystyrene form was understood.

  • When concrete exposed to low temperatures, the free water in the concrete is freeze. If the pressure developed exceeds the tensile strength of the concrete, the cavity will dilate and rupture. It cause expansion and cracking, scaling and crumbling of the concrete. In this study, to prevent such damage, five different types of form were used. Concrete was poured into each form, cured for 7 days at temperature of -10℃. To measure the temperature history, two thermocouples were installed on each of the inside and outside. And to measure the compressive strength, collected core from each form. The maturity is formed by temperature history. The maturity and the compressive strength has a correlation.

  • Machining information such as form accuracy and surface roughness is an important factor for manufacturing precise parts. To this regard, OMM (On the Machine Measurement) has been researched for last several decades to alternate CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine) process. In this research, the OMM system with a laser displacement sensor was developed for measuring form accuracy and surface roughness of the machined workpiece on the machine tool. The surface roughness was estimated comparing the sensory signal with the reference data measured from master specimen. Also, form accuracy was determined from the moving averaged raw data. In addition, the geometric error map constructed beforehand using the geometric errors of the machine tool was used to compensate the obtained form accuracy. The overall performance was compared with CMM result, and verified the feasibility of the measurement system.

  • This paper discusses the hull form generation from fuzzy model constructed with actual ship data using fuzzy concept. SAC, which is the most important factor in the hull form generation, is expressed by a fuzzy model describing the relationships among design parameters, which have a great influence on SAC, through model identification process with the actual ship data and design parameters. Then, we can infer the SAC of an aimed ship through the process of fuzzy inference and decide the offset of a front view by making the fuzzy model between SAC and offset as well. In conclusion, this paper makes a step forward from the geometrical definition, which has been used for hull form generation so far, to direct mathematical formulae about the relationship between design parameters and offset. So, if the design parameters are given, we can generate the hull form taking such properties into account.
