u-헬스 서비스를 제공하는 애플리케이션은 기본적으로 개인용 건강관리 기기 즉, PHD와 통신이 가능하고 데이터를 주고받 을 수 있어야 한다. 그러나 이러한 장비들은 대부분 자체 프로토콜 규격을 사용하고 있어 측정된 데이터를 수집하고 u-헬스 서비스 프로바이더에 전달하기 위한 통합 게이트웨이 개발이 어려운 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점 해결을 위해 u-헬스 게이트웨이를 위한 동적 관리 디바이스 어댑터 모델을 제안하고 프로토타입을 구현하였다. 제안된 모델의 검증을 위해 OSGi 기반 u-헬스 게이트웨이 프레임워크 상에서 프로토타잎을 구현했으며 1채널 심전도 및 혈압/혈당 기기에 대한 디바이스 어댑터 모듈을 구현하였고 측정 데이터 수집 및 전달의 정확성을 확인하였고 의료정보 표준인 HL7 시스템과의 메시지 연동을 통해 기존 시스템과의 상호운용이 가능함을 보였다. 또한 객체 직렬화 방식의 통신 모델을 적용해 어플리케이션과의 연동 및 기능 확장이 용이한 구조임을 확인할 수 있었다.

최근 병원정보 시스템은 의료서비스의 질과 효율성을 제고하기 위해 스마트폰 및 태블릿 PC를 활용한 스마트 진료서비스가 대형병원을 중심으로 도입되고 있으며 개인의 진료정보를 PC, 스마트폰 등을 통해 관리하는 개인건강기록(PHR) 서비스에 대한 관심 및 기술개발이 활발히 진행 중에 있다. 이러한 차세대 병원정보 시스템을 구축하기 위해서는 상이한 병원정보 시스템 간의 데이터 연동과 다양한 사용자 기기 간의 UX 일관성이 보장되어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 멀티플랫폼 환경 하에서 의료정보를 통합하여 연동할 수 있는 게이트웨이 시스템을 설계하기 위해 개인의 진료정보 표준과 성능 향상을 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 게이트웨이 시스템의 핵심 기능인 데이터 간의 매핑 방법에 있어서 CCR 표준을 적용하고 다중 테이블 기반 매핑 방법을 사용하여 시스템 설계를 하였다. 이에 대한 성능 평가를 위해 실험을 한 결과 응답속도가 약 20% 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

인터넷을 통한 TV 서비스는 다양한 형태로 나타나지만, 금후 IMS 기반 IPTV 서비스를 제공하는 형태가 유력한 방식 중 하나이다. 따라서 IMS 기반 IPTV 시스템에 인터넷을 중심으로 하는 웹기반 IPTV 사업자가 IMS 기반 IPTV 가입자에게 서비스를 제공하는 방법에 대해 연구한다. 웹기반 콘텐츠 사업자를 IMS 기반 IPTV에 접속 가능한 3가지 방안을 제시한다. 그 중 하나는 IMS의 I-CSCF에 접속할 때, DNS 서버 및 HSS 서버를 이용하는 2가지 방식, 다른 방안으로는 IMS의 S-CSCF에 접속되어 서비스를 제공하는 방식이다. 그리고 제시한 3가지 방식의 특성 평가를 위해, 인터넷 중심의 웹기반 콘텐츠 사업자를 수용에 따라 발생하는 트래픽 특성과 각 방식별로 트래픽 모델에 대해서도 분석한다. 이를 기본으로 시뮬레이션 모델을 통해 제안한 3방식에 대해 세션 설정지연 시간을 분석하고, CSCF에 Gateway AS을 매개로하여 서비스를 제공하는 방식이 세션 설정 지연 특성 관점에서 가장 우수함을 분명히 한다. 또 IPTV 시스템의 전송 프로토콜 및 다중화 방법에 대해 간단히 설명한다.

The era of convergence is being applied to all areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The convergence of broadcasting service and communication service almost occurs on smart devices including smartphone. The smart hybrid Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) is a typical example of the convergence of broadcasting and wireless communication service. The hybrid mobile broadcasting service can support seamless video, 3D, high quality, and additional data services based on network connection between the broadcasting and wireless network. The gateway and terminal (including apps on the smartphone) take the role of the main components on the hybrid service. This paper presents the service concept, main components structure, the implementation of gateway and terminals, and field test to the urban areas for the mobile hybrid system.

This paper presents the implementation of an integrated messaging gateway (IMG) based on the open services gateway initiative (OSGi) specification to deliver home messages between home and some telecommunication devices. The IMG has four service agents to support a diverse communication channel. In this paper, we describe a software architecture for a seamless messaging and device layouts in the IMG. And then, we detail each components allowing users to be notified automatically through a cellular phone, a telephone, and the Internet.

In distributed computing paradigm, mobile surrogate systems migrates from on host in a network to another. However, Mobile surrogate system have not gained wide acceptance because of security concerns that have not been suitably addressed yet. In this paper, we propose a security framework based on Grid Proxy Gateway for mobile Grid service. The current Grid Security Infrastructure is extended to mobile computing environments. The surrogate host system designed for mobile Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) users can access the certified host and get his proxy credential to launch remote job submission securely.

이 논문은 VOD 서비스와 가전기기들의 제어가 가능한 홈 게이트웨이를 고려하였다. 홈 게이트웨이에서 출력 트래픽 제어를 통해 VOD 와 실시간 제어 데이터와 같은 입력 트래픽의 QoS를 보장하면서 CPU 연산 시간에 적게 영향을 줄 수 있는 PID 알고리즘 기반의 적응적 대역폭 제어 방법을 제안하였다. 제안하는 방법을 실제 테스트 환경에서 구현하여 검증하였다.

Interworking of legacy TC application and CORBA-BASED one is important to satisfy emerging market demands of the rapid introduction of new multimedia services and building of scalable, flexible, and interoperable service control architecture. For this, we develop generic TC/CORBA gateway on interworking between. TC and CORBA system Generic TC/CORBA gateway can be used for interworking in many fields of telecommunication service control such as INAP, MAP, other TC-based application parts, and mobility management of IMT-2000. Finally, we propose the object pool mechanism for efficient management of TC-user objects and it is helpful for enhancement of scalability and reduction of the response time of remote service operations.

Powerline communication is the data signal which is modulated by carrier frequency through the installed powerline at in-home or office is transmitted and received signals are separated into data signal with using band-pass filter which cent-frequency is carrier frequency. The home gateway, an equipment which works as an gateway for ubiquitous home network, relays all functions of a home network. The home gateway must always be connected in order to provide seamless services. However it gives unfavorable power consumption. Therefore the needs for working in maximum power saving mode while there is no data traffic and for invoking to the normal function when it is necessary. So, in this paper we survey the development of low power PLC modem monitoring of power consumption and breaking abnormal power in the home Network.
