  • Customer behavior pattern discovery is the fundament for conducting customer oriented services and the services management. But, the composition, need, interest and experience of customers may be continuously changing, thereof lead to the difficulty in refining a stable description of their consistent behavior pattern. This paper presented a new method for the behavior pattern discovery from a changing collection of customers. It was originally inspired from the swarm intelligence of ant colony. By the adaptive clustering, some typical behavior patterns which reflect the characteristics of related customer clusters can extracted dynamically and adaptively.

  • This study of elderly households living conditions to determine the overall status in the housing environment is to understand. To this end, the stage of elderly as a framework to target living consciousness, living space composition, housing Environment composition of elderly households with a comprehensive understanding and analyzes were employed. For this research is a survey conducted on senior citizens(over 60) in Busan, Korea. The major findings are as followings; In the living consciousness, the elderly households showed high perception of dependency but the age of the elderly increases, depends on the parent to the child. Also depending on the aging of the elderly considered health more important than economic conditions. The requirements for living space composition, most respondents prefer to stay in the same place where they currently reside. Move into the new housing was also identified. It was recognized that elderly households not only required living in co-residential space with their families, but also the necessity for individual space. The home environments composition, health care and social welfare support services appears overall the elderly of stage. The age of the elderly increases, a strong demand for care and support service were identified. Health activities in leisure and social activities and social activities, as age increased mainly done by the convenience of public transportation has been identified that are important.

  • Currently, it is not easy for most domestic public libraries to collect and provide reliable health information services on their own. Health information is distributed or professional, making it inconvenient for users to use. Based on the implications derived from the case study, the Library Health Information Integration Service Model was proposed as a specialized information service. The model consists of a composition shared by librarians, health and medical experts, and users, focusing on library websites that provide integrated health information integration services, and has the following features. First, it provides health and medical information on a specialized subject. Second, it provides integrated health and medical information services provided in various ways. Third, librarians and health and medical experts work together to provide information services. Fourth, users can freely use health information integration services online and offline. The model presented in this study means that libraries can play a leading role in health information integration services to increase the utilization rate of public libraries and further contribute to librarians serving as experts in health information services.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the level of physical fitness and isokinetic strength, between EMT student and physical education students. Nine a major in EMT student volunteers, and nine a major in physical education student volunteers participated in that study as subjects. The basic physical body composition, fitness and isokinetic strength were measured. The data obtained in the study was analyzed by SPSS PC+ for window version 10.0. The difference in the mean of each variable between the two groups was analyzed by using the independent t-test and the significance level for all analysis was set at <.05. The results were as follows ; 1. There was a significant difference in the basic physical fitness between the two groups with the exception flexibility. The difference showed the statistical significance on back strength, balance and power in physical education students. 2. There were significant difference in body composition between the two groups with the exception of lean body fat. The difference showed the statistical significance on body fat%, body fat mass in the physical education students. 3. There was significant defference in the isokinetic strength between the two group. The difference showed the statistical significance on peak torque, peak torque B/W%. It was concluded that the physical education students may not have an effect of flexibility; however, back strength, balance, power, body composition, isokinetic strength, could be enhanced due to the long-term period of training. Based on the findings of this study, the regular participation of regular exercise help the untrained men achieve health-related fitness.

  • The appearance of SOA affects business and IT environment and many studies on SOA is progressed in academics and industries. Service will increase extremely and make business opportunity by composing service. In addition, It will support it. However, studies on selection of a service composition target are insufficient. In this study, we propose a framework that select a service composition target so we use Analytic Hierarchy Process methodology. As a result of this study, we enabled service selection to apply functional/non-functional attributes of services, various stakeholder's view and some selection criteria with service composition.

  • Web-Based instruction system implemented according to CGI based process-oriented. But, in case of system development, theses method is able to take inefficiency with duplication of program code. Also, ofter the development, it takes difficult on the operation and management. In this research, I implement Web-based score processing system by component composition. Applied component model is Java Beans and composition method is to use Chiron-2 architecture. By this method, this research shows the high efficiency - not only structural advance but also low value of cyclomatic complex that measure a maintenance.

  • We present in this paper the methodology for automatic generation of OWL-S service model ontology along with the results and issues. First, we extract information related to atomic services and their properties such as IOPE from the UML class diagram, and retrieve information related to the composition of services from the UML state-chart diagram. Then, the XSLT applications utilize the acquired information to generate the OWL-S service model ontology through the predefined mappings between OWL-S constructs for composite services and UML state-chart primitives. For the justification of generated service ontology, several validation checks are performed. Our service ontology generation method is general and fully automatic, as well as effective, in that it is achieved in an environment familiar to developers, and information needed to generate service ontology is provided necessarily during service development. It is also noticeable to facilitate representing the condition with GUI rather than a complex language such as OCL.

  • Recently, innovative medical services are fast emerging, which include customized medical services based on bio-informatics, composition of cure and well-being exploiting ubiquitous technology, hospital supply chain management using RFID, and so forth. However, conventional approaches for new service development hardly give us systematic model to analyze and produce creative medical services. Because most of them are static and concentrate on microscopic tools or techniques. Thus, it is highly desirable to suggest an integrative framework to organize the whole transformation process from technology to medical service. The objective of this study is to propose a medical service engineering model based on the dynamic innovation theory. The proposed model contains objectives of service system, strategies of hospital, stages, activities required to deal with medical service life cycle, which incorporates the acquisition of new technology, transformation to the product, penetration into market, and adoption of consumers. In addition, the usefulness and applicability of the newly proposed model are provided using catholic medical center example.
