Service-oriented RunTime Infrastructure on Grid (Grid에서의 서비스 기반 RTI 구현)

  • HLA (High Level Architecture) 는 모델링과 시뮬레이션 분야에서 상호 이질적인 서비스에 따른 어플리케이션의 상호운용성(interoperability)과 재사용성(reusability)을 증진시키기 위해 필요한 infrastructure를 개발하기 위한 청사진이다. RTI(RunTime Infrastructure)는 HLA 의 소프트웨어적 도구로써 IibTRI, FedExec, RTIExec의 세 가지 컴포넌트로 구성되어 있다. RTI는 분산환경에서 동적으로 다수대다수간의 통신을 제공하는 미들웨어 (middleware)이다. 대규모의 분산 시뮬레이션의 실행은 지리적으로 퍼져있는 많은 양의 컴퓨팅 자원을 필요로 할 수 있는데 이러한 환경이 가지는 보안과 동적 자원 할당이라는 문제점을 Globus Toolkit3(GT3)안의 Open Grid Service Arcitecture(OGSA)를 사용해서 해결할 수 있는 RTI-G를 개발해 왔고 이를 service-oriented RTI-G라 부른다. 이 논문에서는 service-oriented RTI on Grid 의 구조와 앞에 제시된 문제점들의 해결방안을 제시하고 실험한다.

  • In this research, we create a network infrastructure based on a service-oriented infrastructure (SOI) for the virtualization technology and integrate it with a cloud technology that applies the cloud integration management platform (CIMP) concept. In CIMP, the server and storage will be separated. The server will be adopted for virtualization while the storage will be used by students and teachers to store data. As long they save their data in the storage module, every time, everywhere, and on every device, they can access their data. This research will implement the design of the network infrastructure and be applied to the remote practical learning system in the laboratory. Students and teachers will ultimately adopt this network infrastructure for remote practice using their respective devices without physically meeting in the laboratory. In the future, if the implementation phase is successful, then in addition to laboratory environments, it can be implemented in all learning activities at our campus.

  • Recently, Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA) is on the rise to reduce the complexity of IT infrastructure, minimize cost for maintaining it and maximize the productivity and flexibility in business. SOA increases the adaptability by loosely coupling and it's main feature is that three elements such as service provider, service requester and service registry are connected with each other systematically. These make difficult to adopt traditional development methodologies to implement SOA. In this paper, we suggest a service-oriented development process with regard to the aspect of service provider and service requester. The process consists of six phases and each phase sets up with guidelines and artifacts. It can choose the process type along with the goal in Development Planning.

  • Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA) is improving rapidly in IT Environment. Enterprise companies interest in implementation infrastructure based on SOA to adapt quick changes of large and complex distributed environment. SOA is a component model that inter-relates the different functional units of an application, called services, through interfaces and contacts between theses services. In this paper, we studied the concept of the relationship between SOA and standard web service core and therefore, we model the web service based on SOA. We implemented the application and business service architecture using web service that include the XML and SOAP. We confirmed that how the each SOA characters like interoperability, reusability, scalability and flexible business process adapted to web service and present a web service modeling that is maintained the neutrality using loose service coupling through the method of service model process and web service architecture designing methodology based on SOA.

  • The primary objective of this research is to explain how to implement the Service Oriented Architecture (hereafter SOA) enabled Enterprise Resource Planning (hereafter ERP) system successfully for service industries. An implementation of the ERP system help many organizations to alleviate the difficult job of supporting inflexible or legacy systems that in most cases result in cost increases, data redundancy and inaccuracy, and various inefficiencies. However, the ERP system is losing its market share rapidly to the cloud computing system which utilizes the Software-as-a-service (hereafter SaaS) and SOA. The SOA is an approach to integrate various types of IT resources to leverage existing ERP system, while at the same time building an infrastructure that can readily respond to new business environment and offer new dynamic applications. The companies that implement this system have less of a need for the kinds of all-in-one ERP system that have dominated the back office for decades and can move freely to best-of-breed applications. This research will identify the benefits and costs of the SOA enabled ERP system through case studies and its impact on competitive priorities such as cost, quality, delivery, and flexibility.

  • HLA is the IEEE 1516 standard for the interoperation among heterogeneous simulations and RTI is a technology which provides a lower infrastructure service to interoperation. In this paper, we propose a Object-Oriented federate model architecture to enhance code reusability. It improves an efficiency of the system development process, and results in development time reduction and cost saving. It also is verified its practical effect through acting HLA certification on an software developed proposed architecture.

A Study on Embody e-Government at Home with Home Network Infrastructure (홈네트워크기반의 가정 내 전자정부 구현을 위한 연구)

  • This study is to reconstruct the user-oriented e-government service based on home network infrastructure using ubiquitous computing technology. Until now, 31 e-government roadmap tasks have been promoted as main projects of e-government. This study explores what should be respective priorities for the suppliers and users of e-government if the services are provided in linkage with home network infrastructure. The result of survey showed us that the efficiency of administration and the improvement of the civil service, including citizens' online participation should be priorities. In order to reinforce home network infrastructure in implementing u-government, the government, at first, has to relax regulation, support businesses to develop related technologies, and construct safe infrastructure for citizens to use e-government services. Second, businesses should develop home network technologies that include various contents and construct home network systems that citizens can use easily. Third, citizens should have interests and participate in the government policies for home network services. Particularly, this study aims to suggest policies that consider positions of both the suppliers and users of e-government so that home network-based e-government can be implemented in the future.

  • In order to implement e-trade infrastructure through the radical innovation of trade process, e-trade platform which is called 'uTradehub' has been developed for three years. After pilot operation of this platform in 2007, the formal service of e-trade such as logistics, customs and foreign exchanges had been provided in 2008. However, the usage of e-Trade platform is not the level of users' satisfaction because trade-related communities have not actively participated into e-trade platform and several functions with users requirements are necessary to develop additionally. In this regard, there are strong demands to suggest some strategies for application and usage proliferation of e-trade platform. Therefore, this paper would like to evaluate the current status of e-trade platform service and usage by the theoretical consideration of preceding researches and practical analysis of statistical data. Then, it will explore several service improvement ideas in terms of system supplementation and integration, electronic documents standardization, radical change of using fee, global connection, user oriented education and advertisement.

So, process oriented IT management is required. In the perspective of technique, according to need of IT infra for a rapid change management, an application management, systematic development and operating process are required. Therefore, this paper analyzes of IT service core process in service support and service delivery that was offered by ITIL using the AHP methodology This paper shows the results of IT service survey in domestic software industry.   • RConsumer Portal is defined as "a combination of hardware and software that enables two-way communication between energy service providers(ESP, like KEPCO) and equipment within the consumer's premises". The portal provides both a physical link(between wires, radio waves, and other media) and a logical link(translating among language-like codes and etiquette-like protocols) between in-building and wide-area access networks. Thus, the consumer portal is an important, open public shared infrastructure in the future vision of energy services. This paper presents an XML based standard specification of service-oriented, open protocol for consumer portal system architecture. In the framework level, the XML protocol provides a useful bridge between services and platforms. The proposed standard protocol has been implemented into our developing consumer portal pilot system. The results imply the potential of global standards for consumer portal system by its minimum overhead in network and processor. The reposed XML is designated psXML in this paper.
