The smart phone has already proliferated, and the smart devices of the living appliances and vehicles embedded with communication device, sensors and connected with the smart phone have been developed. Currently it can provide simple remote controller and user interfaces, it could be envisaged that intelligent technology is converged with the smart phone, and Personal Environment Service in which the smart devices are configured automatically as reflecting personal preference, device attribute, and living environment condition would be activated in the future. In this paper PES services, system architecture, and core technology are described.

본 논문에서는 개인화 검색 시 사용자의 단일 프로파일이 개인의 다양한 정보 요구를 만족시키지 못하는 문제를 개선하고자, 질의어에 따라 프로파일을 조정하는 방법을 제안한다. 특히, 제안하는 방법은 북마크 데이터로부터 질의어에 관해 사용자가 중요하게 생각하는 단어들을 추출하여 프로파일을 조정하는데 활용한다. 유명 북마크 서비스인 CiteULike의 데이터를 활용한 실험에서, 제안하는 방법이 단일 프로파일에 기반한 기존의 방법보다 더 뛰어난 개인화 검색 결과를 제공함을 확인할 수 있었다.

Purpose: To describe the performance in the health-promoting lifestyle and to identify the major factors affecting the health-promoting relationships between self care behaviors and health promoting lifestyle profile in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Method: A convenience sample for this study was 172 pulmonary tuberculosis patients who have taken TB medications in urban city. The HPLP-II was selected to measure the concept of health-promoting lifestyle because of the number of research studies conducted using both the original HPLP and the revised HPLP-II. The statistical methods used in this study were t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlations, and multiple regression. Result: The differences of the HPLP-II were found to have a significance of age, marital status, education level, and health service center. The level of self care behaviors was related positively to the level of health promoting lifestyle and their subcategories. Based on stepwise multiple regression analysis, the model that predicted factors included self care behaviors, age, health service center and education. Conclusion: After decades of decreasing rates, TB has reemerged as a serious national problem in Korea. The careful clinical management and more national concern of TB may help to improve the outcomes of many patients. The findings of this study suggest that TB patients who are more fulfilled in health-promoting lifestyles and self-care behaviors may be able to make better decisions regarding positive health-promoting behaviors.

In the ubiquitous computing environment, service providers should able to deliver their services to various devices, such as PDA Smart Phone, Telematics devices. For this, W3C announced 'Composite Capabilities/Preference Profile (CC/PP) Standard' for delivery-context description. But at present, only a small number of mobile phone supports the CC/PP standard, most of contents servers do not support the CC/PP profiles. In this paper, a rule-based CC/PP profiling method in ubiquitous environment is developed. A rule-based profiles are generated by analyzing request headers which are received from various ubiquitous devices. Service providers can use these profiles to provide optimized services to the various devices which have different capabilities.

The content curation service through big data analysis is receiving great attention in various content fields, such as film, game, music, and book. This service recommends personalized contents to the corresponding user based on user's preferences. The existing book curation systems recommended books to users by using bibliographic citation, user profile or user log data. However, these systems are difficult to recommend books related to character names or spatio-temporal information in text contents. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest a personalized book curation system based on integrated mining of a book. The proposed system consists of mining system, recommendation system, and visualization system. The mining system analyzes book text, user information or profile, and SNS data. The recommendation system recommends personalized books for users based on the analysed data in the mining system. This system can recommend related books using based on book keywords even if there is no user information like new customer. The visualization system visualizes book bibliographic information, mining data such as keyword, characters, character relations, and book recommendation results. In addition, this paper also includes the design and implementation of the proposed mining and recommendation module in the system. The proposed system is expected to broaden users' selection of books and encourage balanced consumption of book contents.

When a disaster occurs, effective alerts will reduce human life and property loss. The Integrated Emergency Alert System is a national disaster management system which integrates existing alert systems to deliver effective disaster alerts. Alert message exchange protocol is the essential technology for the System. In Korea, the first specification for "Common Alerting Protocol Profile for Integrated Emergency Alert System" was established in 2014. In this paper, we derive two additional requirements for more enhanced alert service and propose revision of the specification: multilingual alert service for foreigners and more flexible representation of target area. We review the associated foreign profile specifications as well as the domestic specifications to analyze these requirements. Finally, we propose the most efficient way to deliver multilingual alert message and to represent target area.

Agricultural products packaged for transportation are put in the various dangerous environments owing to the damage factors like vibration, shock, compression, climate etc. under the distribution process. On fruits packaging for transportation, especially, the shock and vibration is considered as the most important damage factors. A major cause of shock damage to fruits is drops during manual handling. Especially, the damages of fruits during the parcel delivery service are very serious. The parcel delivery services of fruits are increasing and contribute to increasing of farm house earning. Also, the freight vehicle is mostly used to transport the fruits. Shock and impact generated by the freight vehicle may give serious damage to fruits. The optimum packaging design of parcel delivery service of fruits during transportation is required to reduce the fruits damages. In order to design the packaging system for parcel delivery service of fruits considering the transportation environment, the comprehension of characteristics for vibration and shock generated by manual handling and acting on transportation vehicles under various road conditions and loading methods is required. This research was performed to analyze the shock characteristics, acceleration level and power spectral density (PSD) during the parcel delivery service of fruits. The overall level of recommended PSD profile in a specific transportation of parcel delivery service for fruits was $0.63G_{rms}$.

The growth of Bandung's tourism industry has had a massive impact on the hotel sector. Most tourists visiting Bandung are domestic tourists and tend to be modest spenders fitting the profile of a mid-market (2/3 star) hotel guest. As competition has increased mid-market hotels have come under pressure from upmarket (4/5 star) and budget hotels committed to cutting prices. There is also competition with the mid-market hotel sector, which means that the 2/3 star hotels have to keep innovating in order to remain competitive. This study uses the Service Quality framework to describe customer expectations and identify gaps in hotel services. A questionnaire survey of 105 local tourists who had stayed in 2/3 star hotels in Bandung showed that the most important dimension is responsiveness, following by reliability, assurance, tangibles and empathy. Thus we conclude that local tourists' primary expectations are that hotels will deliver the service they have promised, be responsive to guests' needs and comply with service standards. Furthermore, these findings validate the earlier prediction that comparing 2/3 star hotel with 5/4 start hotel, the customers are having preliminary knowledge on facilities limitation and friendliness. Tourists using 2/3 star hotels tend to be prepared to accept limited facilities and less friendly staff service.

Pervasive computing is characterized by a key characteristic that affects the operating environment of services and users. It places more emphasis on dynamic environments where available resources continuously vary without prior knowledge of their availability, while in static environments the services provided to users are determined in advance. At the same time, Cloud computing paradigm introduced flexibility of use according to the user's profile and needs. In this paper, we aimed to provide Context-Aware Transactional Service applications with solutions so that it can be integrated and invoked like any service in the digital ecosystem. Being able to compose is not enough, each service and application must be able to offer a well-defined behavior. This behavior must be controlled to meet the dynamicity and adaptability necessary for the new user's requirements. The motivation in this paper is to offer design patterns that will provide a maximum of automatism in order to guarantee short reaction times and minimal human intervention. Our proposal includes a cloud service model by developing a PaaS service that allows CATS adaptation. A new specification for the validation of CATS model has been also introduced using the ACTA formalism.

In an open, heterogeneous environment based on machine-to-machine (M2M) interactions, service selection is a critical issue and the concept of social trust can be applied to service selection so that IoT devices can make the best choice for interaction. In this paper, we propose a method for evaluating the trust level of the service and for estimating the QoS of the composite service using a profile created based on social trust relationship in IoT environment. As the service selection is made through quantitative evaluation, it is expected that the result of a more reliable service combination can be obtained.
