In this study, 2 hypotheses based on literature reviews were employed. A questionnaire was also developed based on previous studies. A convenience sample of 233 flight attendants was surveyed and a total of 214 usable questionnaires were analyzed. Then the data and hypotheses were examined using multiple regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. The results are as follows. Analysis showed that emotional intelligence has partial effect on customer orientation accordingly. Secondly, social support has partial moderating effects between emotional intelligence and customer orientation. Continuous and systematic training program which build up team work should be conducted to administer 'emotional intelligence'.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the mediating effects of self-esteem between social comparison orientation and social network service (SNS) addiction in university students. Methods: Descriptive cross-sectional survey design was employed. The data were statistically analyzed by using the descriptive and inferential statistics. Sobel test and Bootstrap method, and Kappa squared mediation effect size measure were used to identify the mediator's significance. A convenience sample of 195 subjects was recruited from two universities in Korea. Results: The mean age of the subjects was $22.58{\pm}1.81$. The subjects showed relatively high levels of SNS addiction with a mean score of $14.33{\pm}4.80$. The overall model significantly explained 37.0% of variances in the subjects' SNS addiction after controlling gender, age, grade, major, period of SNS using, time spent on SNS per day, and times accessed SNS per day. Of the predictors, time spent on SNS per day, social comparison orientation, and self-esteem were significantly associated with SNS addiction. Self-esteem was the mediator between social comparison orientation and SNS addiction. Conclusion: When developing strategies for preventing SNS addiction, interventions for reducing time spent on SNS per day, not having upward social comparison orientation, and improving the self-esteem should be considered. These findings might provide a theoretical basis for developing effective strategies for preventing SNS addiction in university students.

  • This study is a study that designed in-building antennas with improved orientation to improve 5G quality in buildings as 5G is stabilized and more and more traffic is expected to occur in buildings. Instead of applying the forward arrangement of antenna elements, which is the Yagi antenna propagation orientation principle, the antenna design method of vertical arrangement applied to the base station antenna was proposed, and it was confirmed through experiments that antenna orientation increased. According to the experimental results, the directivity did not increase significantly within 10m of the separation distance from the antenna, but the directivity increased by about 3dB at the distance separated by more than 10m. Considering that the wireless environment in the building has various variables such as structure of internal structure, materials such as concrete and glass, closed space, and walls, it is expected that antenna with improved orientation can expand the scope of 5G quality improvement and maintain stable communication service in the building.

  • Blog is a new global phenomenon, but many research papers about organizational blog have not been shown. In this study the influencing factors of the organizational blog usage are empirically investigated, and several guidelines are suggested to IT professionals who involves the design and implementation of the organizational blog. The research model consists of seven independent variables, one dependent variable, and two moderating variables. The following variables are established as the independent variables; information, interface, service, communication, enjoy, performance expectation, and social influence. Two dimensions such as need and orientation are suggested for the moderating variables, and the actual usage is adopted as a dependent variable. As a result of multiple regression analysis using a stepwise method, the independent variables except for interface and communication affect the actual usage of organizational blogs. The moderating effects for need and orientation are partially supported. The implications of this study are as the followings; (1) The empirical factors affecting the usage of organizational blogs are empirically investigated, (2) The affecting factors vary according to the type of organizational blogs, and (3) Some guidelines are suggested for organizational blog's design.

A demonstrative analysis revealed that consumption tendencies of the sample group in the Busan area could be categorized into four types-popular brand orientation, convenience and practicality orientation, and change and innovation oriention; an analysis of demographical differences in each group demonstrated that variabes of age and family formation showed a significant difference within a significant level. A test of differences in the significance among food consumption types in each group demonstrated that there was no signifcant difference in the number of dining-out, average cost of dining-out per person, dining-out of the week, cost of dinner, and attributes of food service selection. To the contrary, there was a significant difference in the purpose of dining-out, place of lunch, cost of lunch, menu of dinner, and food service information medium among consumption tendencies of each within a significant level.

  • With the increasing use of the SNS, WOM(Word of Mouth) has become an even more powerful and useful resource for consumers and marketers. In this paper, we investigated the effects of message polarity (positive, neutral, negative) and type (factual, evaluative) on WOM through SNS (twitter). A total of 13.4 million twitter messages were collected and 1.0 million retweeted messages were analyzed. The results showed that message orientation, type, URL and hashtag have a significant (<0.01) effect on retweet counts and the interaction between message orientation and other factors were observed. It also observed that message type, URL and hashtag have significant (0.05) relationships with retweet speed.
