We, in this paper, have implemented E1 HDSL(high-bit-rate digital subscriber line) function over an ATM switching system. The maximum loop lengths for subscriber service and cell loss rates to meet the bit error rate of $10^{-7}$ at transmission of 2B1Q HDSL data of E1 rate over existing telephone copper wires in the presense of the significant impairments such as crosstalk, impulse noise, power line noise and longitudinal over the CSAs environment consisting of 26 gauge and 24 gauge unloaded copper telephone lines has assessed. We have confirmed the typical media services function such as video on demand(VOD) service for MPEG-1, image conference service and high-speed Internet access service over ATM switching system.

Purpose: There are lots of efforts to increase the revenue of on-line travel agency due to the extreme competition in the hospitality industry. One of the way to improve the revenue is applying new concepted service for their business. In this study, it is introduced an innovative system design of hotel reservation for the on-line travel agency using the concept of an opaque product. Methods: By adopting the opaque product at the hotel reservation system, the reservation requests can increase because the customer tends to feel that they purchase the hotel service with relatively cheap price. The overall process for an innovative hotel reservation system is presented and the core algorithm to implement this system is also suggested through a mathematical model based optimization method. Results: To validate and to examine the proposed process and core algorithm, a numerical example is provided with the modified data of the hotels in Seoul metropolitan city. The discount prices and the overall revenue of hotels are generated according to hotel grade. Conclusion: It is confirmed that the revenue of the hotel tends to increase according to its grade. This is because that the customer want to use the new service which applying the concept of opaque product when the higher discount ratio are decided for lower grade hotels.

In this Paper, we introduce an efficient on-line software service using an application customized graphic offloading library. The software service based on graphic offloading provides high-end software, like a 3D graphic design tool, as an on-line software service through using a client graphic rendering. When software is executed on server, its graphic works are handled by a client's GPU, while its data works are handled by a server's CPU. To improve the performance, we apply an asynchronous transmission channel scheme to our developed basic graphic offloading engine. Also, we add optimized common module and application specific module to our engine. To do that, we introduce how to implement the application specific module using analyzing patterns of graphic related APIs and messages that are generated by an executed software process. Also, we propose how to design the optimized common module using server side information caching. Finally, through the performance comparison experiment, we show that improved offloading engine has the better performance than old basic offloading engine.

Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is well known to have a limited response to drug treatment. Many recently published clinical care guidelines recommend trauma-focused psychotherapies such as cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and prolonged exposure therapy (PE) as first-line treatment and medication such as serotonin reuptake inhibitors and venlafaxine as second-line treatment. Current review introduces the session composition and contents of CPT and presents various CPT studies that show therapeutic effect for civilian and veterans/military with PTSD. In order for clinicians to help effectively patients with PTSD, it is necessary to learn and actively use evidence-based trauma-focused psychotherapies including CPT and PE.

Until now, most of the studies about the internet service have focused mainly on the adoption of on-line(wired) internet services, while there have relatively been very few studies about the adoption and usage of wireless or mobile internet services. The generic model explaining the adoption behaviors of wireless internet services has not been made yet. Previous studies of that area is not so easy to find. The purposes of this paper are two-folds. The first is to find the factors affecting the users' intention and commitment behavior of mobile internet services. The second is to find the relative importance of the factors in users making decisions about users' usage intention and commitment behavior. In the theoretical part of this paper, the precedent studies concerning the technology acceptance model and the theories of on-line internet services adoption, the theories of the mobile internet services, are reviewed and analyzed.

To record and evaluate the flaws which were found during pre-service/in-service inspection performance of nuclear power plants in Korea, the center line beam method described in ASME code and 6 dB drop method stated in CSA code were used. The measured through wall dimensions and lengths by these methods were compared and analyzed in this report. With the measured data analysis, the ekact understanding and use of these methods improves the reliability of flaw sizing and assures the integrity of nuclear power plant components.

This study attempts to provide the foundation that KINITI and industrial su n.0, pporting organizations can be strong information analysis centers if they fortify their information analysis activities. The following conclusions are resulted from the analysis in the state-of-the-art-report covered in national information flow system, service methods and their publications of the information analysis activities provided by the KINITI and industrial su n.0, pporting organizations. First, the KINITI and industrial su n.0, pporting organizations have not be acquiring enough information materials. The services for bibliographic information should guarantee the uses of original documents. Second, the number of organizations providing on-line information services has been increasing, but the provided materials are not sufficiently suited for user's requests. Third, the speedy information provision and efficient information dissemination for the end users in the long distance may be possible through on-line service, but it requires information analysis procedure to select the necessary information in our industrial environment. Forth, the information activities provided by the libraries of industrial su n.0, pporting organizations should be fortified.

Telematics, one of the so-called New Growth Engine of IT839, is a leading IT service where wireless internet service represented by information and mobility is extended to the area of transportations to provide Telematics service. The killer-application of Telematics is navigation system. Recently, due to the mass storage conversion, the performance of the terminal and mobile communications technology development, navigation system is also changed. It more and more develops into 3D in a preexistence 2D map. In the future, it is expected to include the remote sensing map. There is also the characteristic of all the information expressed in frequently a change partially happening. That is, POI(Point Of Interest) which is freshly registered or is deleted is many. In a preexistence, MCP(Map Contents Providers) offer the new version map by off-line monthly or quarterly. And a user wastes time and is inconvenient because of updating the total map by the off-line. Thus, in this paper, in order to resolve this, we describe MCP-MAUS(Maus Air Update Server) interface for updating only the partial map that was changed.

To decide on the queuing system of the optimum-sized bank window, data by means of simulation was reckoned. That is, by linking the average arrival rate and the average service rate with the exponential random number, customers' arrival time and service time was reckoned and simulation size optionally decided. By so doing, this paper is aimed at predicting the conditions of a bank, average arrival time, average waiting time, aveerage service time, average queuing length, servers' idle time, etd, and at preparing for a simulation model of the queuing system that can apply not only to the bank window box but also to all system under which queuing phenomena may arise.

Since the KTX start its service on April 1st of 2004, KTX increased its share up to 17.4% (2008). It's the 2nd after the passenger car share of 59.2% in the national transportation, but the gap is still wide. In addition, because of the rise of goods' and oil price, the share of intercity express bus is growing up. Nevertheless Korail is trying to improve the train schedule and develop internodal transit system, the number of passengers of KTX is remain flat. KORAIL should start and proceed the tasks below. - Analysis of the 5 year's operation of KTX since the year of 2004 to make plans for the steady growth - development of the KTX operation plan for expansion of railway - preparing the operation of additional passenger rail services on the mail line for newly introduced trains. - expansion of KTX's service area after the introduction of KTX-II - introduction of other new trains - examination for the action plans to promote marketing in main-line including refinement of the rate structure
