Ubiquitous application is in need of high-level technology to meet various requests for ubiquitous service. In order to adopt ubiquitous technology in not only pilot projects but also regional services, many projects like u-City are implemented in and outside the country. RFID has been known as one of the important technology to provide with core benefits of Ubiquitous services. Because each band of RFID technology has merits and demerits concurrently, single-band RFID system has limitations for various RFID services. Thus, we developed dual-band RFID system enable to provide with 13.56MHz and 2.45GHz RFID service at the same time to compensate the shortage of single-band RFID system. Also we have considered the way that the firmware would control signals without collision, studied battery life and range for tag, and made hardware for dual-band RFID service.

The tumor in accessory parotid gland (APG) is rarely occurred and its incidence is about 7.7% of all parotid gland neoplasms, but has a higher frequency of malignancy than major salivary glands. The mucoepidermoid carcinoma is the most common malignancy in APG, while B-cell lymphoma is less than 2%. It is often appeared as superficial mass in mid-cheek area. This lesion requires differential diagnosis with epidermoid cyst, lipoma, neurogenic tumors, Stensen's duct stone, lymphadenopathy and hemangioma etc. The mucosa associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma, which is also termed extra-nodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma tends to be localized disease for long time and has a relatively indolent course. We recently encountered a 69-year-old man with superficial solitary mass on the right cheek area that finally diagnosed as MALT lymphoma in APG. We report the rare and unique case with brief literature review.

Retail space itself could be one of the marketing strategies, through creating space, and communicating brand identity. Especially for innovative products, such as mobile technology products, store is not just to sell products but to provide experiences so that users can fudge usefulness of products and reduce uncertainties to adopt the products. The purpose of this study is to investigate how environmental features and physical artifacts contribute to promote experiences of innovative products in stores and how physical environment help to establish brand identity. For this study, site visits, observation, and literature review were conducted. For case studies, three retail spaces (Apple, Iriver, Sony) and one service space(TTL) were selected. Compared to the service space, three retail spaces have more transparent and open store front design characteristics. For the experiences of shoppers, products displayed in a radial shape, round shape, column shape, and around peripherals of the stores. A service oriented space, TTL zone is differentiated from three retail spaces in terms of layout, store front design, and experience areas. Compared to the traditional stores selling innovative products, the case stores showed more warm atmosphere using various shape, wood materials, lighting fixtures and furniture.

이 논문의 목적은 독서치료의 지적 기반을 전통적인 도서관서비스인 독자상담에 두고, 독자상담 영역에서 그동안 활용해온 이론과 방법에 근거하여 독서치료를 우리 도서관 현장에 적용하기 위한 이론적 근거를 강구하는데 있다. 이를 위해 도서관 선진국인 미국의 도서관 현장을 사례로 하여 독자상담과 독서치료와의 논리적 연계성을 검토해보고, 독자상담의 연장선에서 치료적 독자상담의 개념을 제시하였다. 더불어 치료적 독자상담의 실천을 위해 사서가 수행하여야 하는 역할을 컬다우(Kuhlthau)가 제시한 중재역할(zone of intervention) 모델에 근거하여 제시하였다.

This research objective is to determine the optimal price break points for n­block tariff, because comparing non­linear pricing with uniform pricing on the basis of profit, n­block tariff outperforms two­part tariff, all unit discount price schedule, and uniform pricing. Although the merits of non­linear pricing are well documented, the attempt to practice the non-linear pricing in medical service sector has been relatively rare. The determination of the parameters under n­block tariff is the interesting decision making agenda for marketers. Under n­block tariff, the marketers should decide the optimal price break points and the optimal marginal price for each price zone. The results can be summarized as follows: The researchers found that mixture model can be the feasible methodology for determining the optimal number of n­block tariff and identifying the optimal segmentation criteria. We demonstrate the feasibility and the superiority of the mixture model by applying it to the database of medical examination. The results appear that the number of patients per month can be the optimal segmentation variable. And 6­block tariff is the optimal price break for this medical service.

산악사고 발생 시 사고자는 위치정보와 사고 상황을 신속하게 알려야 한다. 하지만 산악사고 발생 시 해당 지역이 GPS, 3G/4G, 무선통신 등이 불가능한 음영지역에서 구조대에 신고할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 산악 사고 시 음영지역에서 사고자가 신고할 수 없는 상황에서 긴급구조요청 알림서비스를 제안한다. 제안하는 서비스는 BLE(Bluetooth Low Energy)를 통해 음영지역에서 사고 발생 시 긴급구조요청 메시지를 보내는 서비스이다.

Nowadays, repair welding on in-service natural gas pipeline is a matter of primary concern of gas company. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of welding conditions on the allowable heat input for crack-free welds and welds without burn-through onto in-service natural gas pipeline. First of all, single pass weld bead on plates of the various thickness was deposited to evaluate the penetration of weld metal, the depth of heat affected zone and the hardness of repair weld under various welding conditions. Also, finite element analysis has been conducted to validate experimental results of bead-on plate welds and to develop appropriate model for repair welding. The welding experiments of bead-on-plate weld confirmed the influence of plate thickness, heat input and welding process on safety. And, the finite element model was demonstrated by comparing experimental results. The agreement between the computed and measured values was shown to be generally good. Therefore, It is possible to predict the safety of repair welding under various welding conditions with experimental results and finite element analysis model.

The purpose of this research is to accurately estimate the location of a device using the received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of IEEE 802.11 WLAN for location tracking in indoor environments. For the location estimation method, we adopted the calibration model. By applying the Adaptive Zone Based K-NNSS (AZ-NNSS) algorithm, which considers the velocity of devices, this paper presents a 9% improvement of accuracy compared to the existing K-NNSS-based research, with 37% of the K-NNSS computation load. The accuracy is further enhanced by using a Kalman filter; the improvement was about 24%. This research also shows the level of accuracy that can be achieved by replacing a subset of the calibration data with values computed by a numerical equation, and suggests a reasonable number of calibration points. In addition, we use both the mean error distance (MED) and hit ratio to evaluate the accuracy of location estimation, while avoiding a biased comparison.

In vicinity of Seoul, there has been water service tunnel that classified into 1st grade facility by special act for the safety control of public structures and with providing capacity equals to $1,543{\times}10^3$(ton/day) and inner pressure equals to $2.5-3.5kg/cm^2$. In this research, site investigation and stability analysis for water tunnel caused by new construction of road tunnel were carried out. the ground near water tunnel were zoned into spatial area having similar geotechnical characteristics and estimating geotechnical properties for each area. The site for analysis consists of banded biotite gneiss, biotite schist and granite gneiss with spatial non-homogeneity, and for that reason weathering and fault zone were distributed with large scale. It's important thing to consider spatial ground zone and their geotechnical properties properly into stability analysis at design and construction stage. Also, using results of site investigation, stability of existing tunnel have been analyzed for Hydraulic Fracture/Jacking and deformation in detail.

쿠키는 단순한 텍스트 파일로 사용자가 웹 서비스를 제공 받은 서비스 내용이 기록되어 있다. 쿠키파일에 기록 되는 정보 중에는 사용자의 개인정보도 포함된다. 개인정보가 기록된 쿠키파일을 공격자 획득하게 되면 사용자의 개인정보 유출로 인해 금전적인 피해까지 입을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 쿠키 파일의 보안성 향상을 위해 제시된 관련연구와 쿠키파일의 낮은 보안성으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 취약성을 살펴본다. 관련 연구와 쿠키 파일의 취약성 분석을 통해 쿠키 파일을 안전하게 보관할 수 있는 보안영역에 대한 설계와 효율적인 보안영역을 제시를 위해 보안영역을 구현할 수 있는 방법에 대해서 알아본다. 또한, 성능평가를 통해서 보안성을 확인해 보았다. 보안영역을 통해서 사용자 PC에 저장된 쿠키파일의 보안성을 향상시켜 사용자의 개인정보를 안전하게 유지할 수 있을 것이다.
