  • 최근 웹의 급속한 발전으로 인하여 서로 다른 어플리케이션간의 비즈니스 통합 및 상호운용성이 요구되고 있으며, 이를 위해 표준 데이터 포맷인 XML(Extensible Markup Language)을 사용하여 플랫폼과 프로그래밍 언어에 독립적인 Web Services가 등장하였다. 이러한 가운데 Mobile과 RFID(Radio Frequence Identification) 응용 서비스같이 빠른 속도의 통신을 필요로 하는 분야들에서 원활한 서비스를 위해 텍스트 기반의 XML 데이터가 아닌 바이너리(binary) 데이터 전송을 하는Fast Web Services가 주목을 받고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 ITU-T(International Telecummnication Union - Telecommunication)와 ISO(International Organization for Standardization)/IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission)의 공동 표준으로 데이터 변환의 중간자 역할을 해주는 ASN.1(Abstract Syntax Notation One)에 대하여 알아보았다. 그리고 Web Services의 기본 메시지 전송방식인 SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol) 메시지를 바이너리 데이터로 변환하기 위한 인코딩에 관하여 연구하였다.

시큐리티 요원의 심리적 임파워먼트가 서비스지향성 및 조직성과에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Psychological Empowerment on Service Orientation and Organizational Performance in Private Security Guards)

  • 이 연구는 시큐리티 요원의 심리적 임파워먼트와 서비스지향성 및 조직성과의 관계를 규명하기 위하여 2011년 천안, 아산시 소재 민간경비회사에 재직 중인 경비원을 모집단으로 선정한 후 유의표집법(purposive sampling method)을 이용하여 300명의 표본을 추출하였으나, 연구에 사용된 사례 수는 총 271명이다. 이 연구는 SPSSWIN 18.0을 이용하여 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 다중회귀분석, 경로분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 심리적 임파워먼트는 서비스지향성에 영향을 미친다. 즉 의미성과 자기결정성이 높을수록 서비스인적자원관리, 서비스리더십, 서비스접점관리의 수준이 높아진다. 둘째, 심리적 임파워먼트는 조직성과에 영향을 미친다. 즉 영향력과 의미성이 높을수록 조직몰입, 직무만족, 성과의 수준이 높아진다. 셋째, 서비스지향성은 조직성과에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 서비스인적자원관리, 서비스리더십, 서비스접점관리가 증가할수록 조직몰입, 직무만족, 성과의 수준이 높아진다. 넷째, 심리적 임파워먼트는 서비스지향성 및 조직성과에 직 간접적인 영향을 미친다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 시큐리티 기업의 관리자들은 종업원들의 특수한 근무환경을 이해하고 획일적이고 형식적인 관리체계에서 벗어나 종업원들이 근무환경의 변화에 따라 직무수행능력과 잠재력을 활용할 수 있도록 권함과 책임을 부여함으로써 고객에 대한 서비스 마인드가 향상되어 조직의 성과도 향상 될 수 있을 것이다.

자활사업 참여자의 정서적 자활과 사회적 자활의 영향요인 연구: 사회적응프로그램 참여자를 중심으로 (Factors Affecting Emotional and Social Self-Sufficiency of Welfare-to-Work Recipients: Focused Social Adaptation Program)

  • 본 연구는 국민기초생활보장제도 자활사업의 탈수급 탈빈곤의 한계에도 불구하고 자활참여자의 복합적이고 다양한 근로장벽 특성상 자활 효과의 다차원적인 접근으로 정서적, 사회적 자활의 역할에 주목하고자 한다. 이를 위해 자활프로그램 중 심리사회적 어려움으로 가장 자활가능성이 취약한 사회적응프로그램 참여자의 정서적 자활과 사회적 자활의 효과 및 그 영향요인을 검증하고자 한다. 조사 대상은 전국의 사회적응프로그램 수행기관의 참여자를 대상으로 표집하였으며, 위계적 회귀분석(Hierarchical regression)이 검증에 활용되었다. 분석결과, 첫째, 사회적응프로그램 참여자의 정서적 자활 효과와 사회적 자활 효과는 보통 수준을 상회하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정서적 자활의 영향요인으로는 요보호가구원수(-)와 교육프로그램 만족도(+)가 유의미한 영향력이 있음이 밝혀졌고 사회적 자활에는 삶의 만족도(+), 조직유형, 교육프로그램 만족도(+), 건강서비스 만족도(+)가 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 자활사업의 평가와 관련된 정서적, 사회적 측면의 자활효과 측정의 필요함을 밝히고 심리사회적 다양한 근로장벽을 지닌 자활참여자 특성에 적합한 통합사례관리 강화, 프로그램 개발 및 서비스 지원체계 등에 관한 정책적, 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

임상간호사의 조직몰입과 관련변인 분석 (Analysis of the Clinical Nurses' Organizational Commitment and Relating Variables.)

  • Organizational commitment is characterized by a strong belief in and acceptance of the organization's goal and values ; a willingness to exert considerable effort on behalf of the organization ; a strong desire to maintain membership in the organization. The purpose of this study was to identify the variables which influence the organizational commitment and to test the relationship between the clinical nurses' organizational commitment and turnover intention. The subjects were 412 nurses who were working on general wards at three General Hospitals in Chounbuk. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaire from Sept. 20 to Sept. 31, 1995. The instruments used in this study were Likert-type scale which were Organizational Commitment Scale by Mowday et al, and Turnover Intention Scale by Mobley et al. The questionnaire of organizational characteristics was made through reviewing literature. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression with $SPSS-PC^+$ program. Major findings are as follows : 1. Mean scores for organizational commitment were 3.008 and turnover intention 3.167 on a 5 point scale. 2. Age and clinical experience were positively related to organizational commitment(r=.4806, p=.000; r=.4792, p=.000). 3. In the personal variables, hospital type(F=21.374, p=.000), education level(F=5.481, p=.001), position(F=30.867, P=.000), and marital status(t=-5.63, p=.000) of the nurses showed significant differences in organizational commitment. 4. The variables to the organizational characteristic were statistically significant in organizational commitment : formalization(r=.3458, p=.000), human-centered organizational characteristic(r=.4302, p=.000), performance- centered organizational characteristic(r=-.1502, p=.000), payment(r=.2234, p=.000), promotion(r=.2710, p=.000), benefit & service(r=.2325, p=.000), and resource inadequacy(r=-.2172, p=.000). 5. For the purpose of identifying the predicting variables in organizational commitment, stepwise multiple regression is conducted. The results show that age, human-centered organizational characteristic, formalization, hospital type, resource inadequacy, promotion, and benefit & service were significant variables and explained 46% of the variance. 6. Organizational commitment was significantly negatively correlated with turnover intention(r=-.6442, p=.000). As a result of stepwise multiple regression analysis, organizational commitment is the most powerful variable predicting turnover intention and explained 41.5% of the variance. In conclusion, this study shows that the higher the organizational commitment level, the lower the turnover intention. Therefore, for effective turnover management, it is important to improve the organizational commitment among clinical nurses. In order to enhance the organizational commitment by the clinical nurses, it will be useful to consider significant organizational characteristics variables identified in this study.

  • 본 연구는 조리 관련 학과를 전공하고 있는 일부 4년제 대학생을 대상으로 조리 실습 교육에 대한 인식 수준을 조사하여 조리교육의 발전 방안을 모색하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 교육은 지식을 전달하고 학습자의 특정한 태도와 행동을 형성하기 위하여 의도적이면서 조직적으로 학습을 유도하여 지식, 정보, 적절한 상황이나 조건을 준비하는 것으로서 조리교육 만족도와 요구도를 살펴 조리 실습교육의 의미와 학생의 입장에서 조리학습교육을 이끌어나가기 위하여 조사 분석하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 특정한 상황에 맞는 대학교육서비스 품질 측정도구를 개발하고, 이를 통하여 대학 조리 실습교육 품질을 결정하는 요인을 도출해 보았으며, 26개의 품질속성에 대해 중요도-만족도 변환지수를 이용하여 해석한 결과, 저학년일 경우 실습흥미, 진로필요, 현장실무 레시피, 전공 관심 증가, 전공학과만족 순으로 중요하다고 인식하였으며 고학년일 경우 현장 레시피, 실습흥미 재료시범 순으로 중요하다고 하였다.

  • The dental care delivery system and the dental specialty system have a very close relationship each other. Compared to Korea. Western European countries with predominant public sector in dental service have recognized merely 2 or 3 dental specialties, while North American countries with predominant private sector, 8 or 9 ones. It is desirable to adopt the dental specialty system as soon as possible in Korea to encourage scientific development in various dental specialties and qualitative advance in dental service. We, however, have to establish equitable dental care delivery system which can use limited dental resources efficiently as follows. 1. clarifying the different roles in assignments between general dentists and specialists by the amendment of the related laws such as the Medical Act and establishing the organic patient-referral system. 2. adopting the dental specialty system and expanding personnel and equipments so that the dental college hospitals, especially dental divisions of general hospitals, night function as secondary care facilities with specialties. 3. determining the size of dental specialists according to the national needs for dental specialized service's, whose number is to be not more than 10% of the total dentists. 4. transferring the function of accredating dental specialists to the efficient, self-controlled professional organization such as the Korean Dental Association rather than putting it under the governmental control. 5. conducting a comprehensive review of specialty education and practice for re-recognition, and maintaining competence of specialists by re-accredating them periodically. I expect this article to contribute to further discussion about the dental specialty system in Korea in productive and practical way. I am sure that we can Establish this system in the near future when people in every walks of life-the academic circle, the press, the authority concerned, consumer groups and the Korean Dental Association-take part in the discussion with special concern.

  • 무선 센서 네트워크는 컴퓨팅 기술 능력과 무선 통신 능력을 지닌 센서 노드들을 이용하여 자율적인 네트워크를 형성하고, 서로 간에 정보를 전달한다. 최근 센서 네트워크의 노드의 초저전력, 초소형, 저비용에 대한 연구와 더불어 수집된 센싱 데이터의 활용 방안에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 Tiny-DB와 MySQL를 연동하여 센서 네트워크에 수집된 실시간 대용량 데이터를 효과적으로 저장하고, 산불이나 화재 등의 재난을 방지하기 위해 IPv4/IPv6 기반의 인터넷을 이용하는 실시간 경보 서비스의 프로토타입을 설계하고 구현한다. 이를 위해 TinyOS를 이용하여 센싱 쿼리 프로세싱을 통해 정보를 추출하는 모듈, MySQL 데이터베이스 관리 시스템, JDBC를 이용하여 정보를 서버의 데이터베이스의 연동 모듈, IPv4/IPv6 기반에 인터넷에서 ODBC를 이용하여 실시간으로 센싱 데이터를 수신하여 사용자에게 제공하는 클라이언트 모듈 등을 개발한다.

사회복지사의 임파워먼트가 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (Empowerment of the Social Worker Effect on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment)

  • Purpose : Delegating authority to employees exerts a positive effect on the efficient operation and service of a company. In particular, investigating how the delegation of authority granted to social workers, who have a greater workload compared with those of other occupations, influences job satisfaction and commitment to the organization is meaningful. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the impact of the empowerment of social workers on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Methods : Toward this end, surveys were distributed to social workers employed at social welfare facilities in Daegu metropolitan city. Prior to the study, the researcher visited the institutions in which the social workers were working, explained the content in person, and conducted the self-administered survey accompanied by two research assistants who received prior training. Out of the 233 collected responses, those with unreliable responses and missing data were excluded, which left a sample of 224 for analysis. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. Results : First, social workers who were older, had higher positions, and with longer years of service exhibited higher levels of empowerment in terms of differences in empowerment according to general characteristics. Second, for job satisfaction and organizational commitment according to general characteristics, the longer the period of employment, the higher the level of job satisfaction. Third, empowerment exerted an effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and a positive correlation was found. Conclusion : The empowerment of social workers exerted a positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Therefore, to improve service quality and the efficient operation of social welfare organizations in this practice, improving the empowerment of social workers is necessary by providing appropriate treatments, improving working environments, and providing appropriate discretion and decision-making authorities that are considered necessary for work performance.

Dental Coordinator의 직업의식에 관한 주관성 연구 (A Research Relative to the Subjective View on the Occupational Consciousness of the Dental Coordinator)

  • This research is an attempt to establish a basic material in discovering the subjective types of the dental coordinators occupational consciousness, utilizing the Q-Method Theory, which is capable of measuring the subjective nature of human being by scientific and systematic method. The characteristics of each type were analyzed so as to have the dental coordinator to possess the desirable understanding of the occupational view together for them to have self-confidence as a lifetime specialty occupation. Upon completion of the study, it was found that there are three types of subjective views pertaining to the occupational consciousness on the dental coordinator. The result on the analysis of the characteristics is as follows : Type 1 is the Taking Serious View on the Patient Service, which priority is placed on kindness and looking after any difficulties of the patient, namely, it is the type that puts the importance on the high level medical examination and treatment based on good service. Because of the kind service to the patient, those under this category considered their job satisfaction have been improved. It goes without saying that they were developing the services, which satisfy themselves, and it was confirmed that they thought that they should make things smooth for any development of problems that may arise between the patient and the dentist. Type 2 is the Taking Serious View on Career and Organizational Strength. This is a type that aims on the systematic nature of the internal job, namely, organizational strength itself viewed from the stand point thai either self-confident or work merit is proportional to experience. This type is to actively treat the problem and endeavor to solve the issue when dissatisfaction is held by the dental hospital system, which is either followed according to the work responsibility or by an organization having an appropriate system on remuneration, Type 3 is the Placing of Importance on the Overall Circumstances. This is the type that places importance on the overall now of the dental hospital, and it is the type, that most greatly recognizes the importance of the role of the dental coordinator. The dental coordinator should provide the sense of reliability to both the dentist and to the staff of the medical examination and treatment and should be able to adjust smoothly the overall now of the medical treatment. The dental coordinator is expected to be a medical service specialist, who is capable to solve the problems of the staff of the medical treatment intuitively and to adjust the relation between the employees. With the above result, it was found that although there was no mutual exclusiveness between the respective types, there are particular characteristics among each type. Therefore, this research has discovered and analyzed the subjective view types relative to the occupational consciousness of the dental coordinator for the proper understanding on the characteristics of each type to enable the dental sanitary students and the graduates of the Dental Sanitary Department, who are aspiring to become dental coordinator, as the basic guide material to be actively utilized.

The Roles of Intermediaries in Clusters: The Thai Experiences in High-tech and Community-based Clusters

  • Industrial clusters are geographical concentrations of interconnected companies, specialised suppliers, service providers, firms in related industries, and associated institutions (for example, universities, standard agencies, and trade associations) that combine to create new products and/or services in specific lines of business. At present, the concept of industrial cluster becomes very popular worldwide, policy makers at national, regional and local levels and business people in both forerunner and latecomer countries are keen to implement the cluster concept as an economic development model. Though understanding of clusters and related promoting policies varies from one place to another, the underlying benefits of clusters from collective learning and knowledge spillovers between participating actors strongly attract the attention of these people. In Thailand, a latecomer country in terms of technological catching up, the cluster concept has been used as a means to rectify weakness and fragmentation of its innovation systems. The present Thai government aspires to apply the concept to promote both high-tech manufacturing clusters, services clusters and community-based clusters at the grass-root level. This paper analyses three very different clusters in terms of technological sophistication and business objectives, i.e., hard disk drive, software and chili paste. It portrays their significant actors, the extent of interaction among them and the evolution of the clusters. Though are very dissimilar, common characteristics attributed to qualified success are found. Main driving forces of the three clusters are cluster intermediaries. Forms of these organizations are different from a government research and technology organization (RTO), an industrial association, to a self-organised community-based organization. However, they perform similar functions of stimulating information and knowledge sharing, and building trust among participating firms/individuals in the clusters. Literature in the cluster studies argues that government policies need to be cluster specific. In this case, the best way to design and implement cluster-specific policies is through working closely with intermediaries and strengthening their institutional especially in linking member firms/individuals to other actors in clusters such as universities, government R&D institutes, and financial institutions.
