  • This study has recognized easy payment service as one of the new types of application of information and communication technologies and proposed a modified acceptance intention model by adding perceived risk factor based on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology(UTAUT) and then explored those variables that effect the acceptance intention of consumers. The results of this study can be summarized as the followings. First, expectation on the efforts, social impact have positive effect on the acceptance intention and perceived risk has negative effect on the acceptance intention but expectation on the efforts and promotion condition were found to have no effect on the acceptance intention. Second, among the factors suggested, social impact was found to have more effect of causing the acceptance intention of users than expectation on the efforts and perceived risk. Third, it was found that there is a significant association between the acceptance intention and use behavior of users of easy payment service. This means that, as was reviewed in the preceding researches, the acceptance intention affects actual acceptance behavior of users either directly or indirectly. Fourth, even though innovation resistance has regulation effect on the relationship between expectation on efforts or social impact and acceptance intention, it was found to have no regulation effect on the relationship between perceived risk and acceptance intention.

  • In a situation where the recognition of archival services remains minimal, an evaluation of archival information services by users could provide a better understanding of users' practical needs and present helpful information for improved services. A service evaluation by users using questionnaires was conducted in university archives, which can similarly categorize their user groups and have frequent interactions with the users for the provision of services. Questionnaires suitable for the evaluation of university archives were developed based on the review of the evaluation tools in archival information services. From April to October 2015, 113 users' evaluation results were collected from 13 university archives. As a result of goodness of fit tests, the users' service evaluation items were categorized into four parts: Use Results, Provision of Information on Archives, Accessibility to Archives, and Interaction. For those four parts, evaluation by descriptive statistics, T-test, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted. Users evaluated Interaction parts highly while they were less satisfied with Provision of Information on Archives. T-test results showed that university archives with search engines and with electronic records management systems were evaluated higher than archives without such technology. In the regression analysis, the Interaction and Provision of Information on Archives parts were found to have an influence on the Use Results part.

Thus, this paper aimed at identifying Web quality factors of silver portal for its successful adoption, and examining the moderating effects of gender on the relations between Web quality factors and intention to use. Information quality, system quality, service quality and entertainment quality were identified as Web quality factors of silver portal based on the intensive review on prior researches. A total of surveys 525 from the potential users of silver portal, who are over 40 years old, were analyzed to verify our research model. The findings show that information quality, system quality, and entertainment quality are related to intention to use whereas service quality has no relationship with intention to use. It is found that gender moderates the relationship between entertainment quality and intention to use.

  • The previous studies based on a resource-based view of firm highlighted the role of resources within a firm in creating and sustaining competitive advantage. Recent research, however, the relational view points to the importance of inter-firm sources(or relational capital) in creating firm competitiveness. In international business field, the studies on born-global firms also states that when firms are lack of ownership-specific advantages in their internationalization process, they resort to the external partners and social networks to complement their resource scarcity. By adopting the relational view and born-global firms concept, a network-based approach needs to be applied to explain the international strategy of Korean service firms. This is because most of Korean service firms own less ownership-specific advantages than global competitors. This study proposes Korean firms' global network building and exploiting strategy to enhance their international stages of development. The network, for example, Global Korean Tourism Network, enables network members access to the valuable resources and capabilities they are lack of when undergoing internationalization process. This study's contribution is along two dimension. First, even global Korean network is emerging as a major issue in recent years, we could not figure out how to build global Korean network for service firms. This studies gives an answer. Second, we derived what benefits can be gained from the network if Global Korean Tourism Network is developed for hotel, tourism, convention firms' internationalization.

Three public universities and five private universities in Kyungsang province were surveyed for the purpose of this study with standardized questionnaires. The study raised questions on four different fronts: 1) Is there a difference in the importance of evaluation factors by Chinese student's on the quality of educational services between public universities and private ones? 2) Is there a difference in the degree of satisfaction felt by Chinese students who attend public universities or private ones? 3) Are there any significant differences in the importance of evaluation factors and satisfaction with the quality of educational services? 4) How different the relative influence of evaluation factors has on satisfaction with the quality of educational services for overall Korean university system? The results of this study showed that there was no statistical difference in signification in the importance of evaluation factors on the quality of educational services between public universities and private universities. Only the relationship factor in criteria four had an effect on satisfaction with quality of educational services between public and private universities. There were significant differences in the importance of evaluation factors and satisfaction with the quality of educational services. Chinese students determined that professor's lectureship as the most important factor, and is the ultimate deciding factor whether they attend a public or private university. It should be noted that studying and knowledge are primary concerns to them. Improvements in the quality of educational services in area of lectureship, physical education facilities, relationship, and administrative services are essential and crucially important for Korean universities in order to attract foreign students and to enhance their competitiveness in the global setting.

  • Customer participation behavior(CPB) and customer citizenship behavior(CCB) which are customers' active functions and roles implemented in service encounter contribute to the service quality. Thanks to these ideas, many researches focus on the influences of these two customers' behaviors on relational outcomes, additionally. However, when examining the characteristics of CPB and CCB, it is notable that CPB and CCB are positively influenced by relationships between customers and firms, adversely. In other words, it is necessary to find that commercial friendship representing a deep relationship can address these two customers' behaviors, as well as may influence relational outcomes. As results, intimate friendship between a customer and an encounter provider has a positive influence on CPB and CCB, expectedly. These findings show that customers having prior contacts can play active roles in a service encounter. Additionally, it is identified that CPB and CCB have positive influences on the relational outcomes such as customer cooperations. Consequently, CPB and CCB are likely to be on the loop of a relational circulation.

  • Cooperative associations are established in order to enhance the rights and the interests of their members and serve the local communities, and actually do much for the local society. And among these, consumer cooperatives are spontaneously founded, particularly in the spirit of mutual help, in order to promote the common welfare of the members. Meanwhile, because the current medical law qualifys noncommercial corporation to open medical institution, consumer cooperative and noncommercial- corporation cooperative which are established under the Cooperative Act have the right to do. However, though cooperative association should be founded for common interests of the members who are weaker parties of society, it became rapidly to be abused as means of circumvention of law. Especially as National Health Insurance Corporation stepped up the investigation and the collection of unfair profits against the hospital owned by non-medical personnel who are unable to establish a medical institution, setting up medical institutions as a roundabout way to avoid the restricts dramatically increased in number. In this study, we are going to introduce the current dualised normative system regulating the establishment of a medical cooperative association, and find a way to improve the system and make up for the week points. And we will look though the present situation about medical cooperative association's opening, operating, and closing, and review the normative and systematic improving plans.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to understand public perception of home-based hospice and identify related factors. Methods: Between August 19, 2014 and August 30, 2014, data were collected using an E-mail questionnaire that was filled by 1,500 adults who were over 20 years of age. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$-test and logistic regression. Results: Among the respondents, 15.9% were aware of home-based hospice care, and 61.3% were willing to receive home-based hospice care. The factors that influenced the participants' willingness to use home-based hospice services included residential district, religion and private health insurance. Respondents who lived in Seoul (OR: 1.56, 95% CI: 1.04~2.33), Gwangju/Jeolla province (OR: 2.02, 95% CI: 1.23~3.32), Busan/Ulsan/South Gyeongsang province (OR: 1.81, 95% CI: 1.17~2.82) were more well-aware of home-based hospice care than those who lived in Incheon/Gyeonggi province. The faithful were more informed about the services than those without non-faithful participants (Roman Catholics (OR: 2.03, 95% CI: 1.30~3.17), Protestants (OR: 1.76, 95% CI: 1.22~2.53). Participants who had a private health insurance plan knew more about the services than those without one (OR: 1.45, 95% CI: 1.03~2.04). Conclusion: First, it is necessary to improve perception of the public and healthcare providers regarding home-based hospice care. The government should review a measure to institutionalize operation of a palliative care team at hospitals and community home-based hospice care centers.
