의료기관의 서비스지향성과 종업원 직무만족이 고객지향성과 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Service Orientation and Job Satisfaction to Customer Orientation and Business Performance in Medical Service Organizations)

  • This empirical research examined the effects of organizational service orientations on business performance since the service orientations had been considered very importantly for delivering excellent service quality in many studies. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among service orientations, customer orientations, employees' job satisfactions and business performance in medical service organizations. A model and hypotheses on the basis of this model were developed. And data from employees in medical service organizations were collected using questionnaires. Respondents were asked to related variables of their organizations. A total of 217 questionnaires collected were used to test hypotheses. The results obtained were as follows; first, service orientation factors had a positive significant effect on customer orientations, employees' job satisfactions and business performances. Second, employees' job satisfaction had a positive significant effect on their customer orientations. Third, customer orientations and employees' job satisfactions had a positive significant effect on business performances. Thus, it is advisable for managers or operators to emphasize service orientations in medical service organizations. This study is specific to ambulatory service in a medical service organizations, so generalizing the results to other area may not be possible. Although this study may help to guide the roles of service orientations, customer orientations, employee satisfactions and business performances in medical service organizations, future studies should consider other relative variables.

비영리 조직에 대한 정부재정지원에 영향을 미치는 요인 : 미국의 사례를 중심으로 (Financial Supports of Government for Nonprofit Social Service Organizations in the United States)

  • This study explores whether there are differences in financial structure and governmental support between social service organizations and other nonprofit organizations. In addition, it analyzes what factors are related to governmental supports for both types of nonprofit organizations. Guided by the argument that specific areas where nonprofits primarily operate can explain a difference of relations between nonprofit organizations and funders, this study compares revenue sources and expenditures of social service organizations and other nonprofit organizations in the United States. Also, based on resource dependence theory and taking some important indexes from financial ratio analysis, this study also identifies factors that affect governmental supports for nonprofit organizations. The study sample consists of 10,690 organizations that reported tax form 990 in 1996. Binary logistic regression analysis was conducted for the study. The results show that social service organizations obtained more revenue from government than other nonprofit organizations. Also, logistic regression analysis suggests that revenue diversification and financial characteristics were significantly associated with governmental supports for nonprofit organizations in the United States.

전주지역 자활 관련 조직들의 네트워크 구조에 관한 연구 (Interorganizational Networks of the Self-supporting Service Organizations in Chonju Area)

  • This study analyse interorganizational networks of the self-supporting service organizations using data on the 31 organizations in Chanju area. Interorganizational networks are operationalized in two ways: conference network and referral network. First, this study attempt to examine the characteristics of interorganizational networks of the self-supporting service organizations. Using block model, I can capture some of the structural features of interorganizational networks. Major findings of block modeling are as follows: (1) Public organizations are more inactive to make a connect with other organizations. (2) Most of organizations incline to make a connect with same kind organizations. Namely, employment service organizations incline to flock together, and social welfare organizations are also much the same. Second, this study attempt to examine the determinants of interorganizational networks of the self-supporting service organizations. Relations between pairs of organizations are modeled as a function of dyadic level covariates in accordance with resource dependence, transaction cost, and organizational domain theory. Measure of informal ties between organizations are also included as covariates. Applying logit and tobit regression methods, this study reveals that most variables have effects on the dyadic relations of organizations. Through this empirical analysis, I can suggest policy implications for the self-supporting programs in Korea.

인터넷 비즈니스 조직의 e-서비스지향성 결정요인과 성과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship Between e-Service Orientation and Performance of Internet Business Organization)

  • Due to the change to the digital environments, the offer of services on the on-tine differs from one on the on-line. This paper Identifies what functions internet business organizations should fulfill to provide on-line services of good qualify and analyzes whether these functions lead effectively to the expected performance of Internet business firms. The components of service orientation in the Internet business organizations appear to be the servant leadership, customer treatment from the Internet service encounter, Internet service failure prevention and recovery, Internet service standards communication, Internet service training, and internet service rewards. Therefore, these determinants should be incorporated in the practices, Procedures, end routines of Internet business organizations in order to create and provide excellent Internet services. Furthermore, it is demonstrated that Internet service orientation has a significant effect on satisfaction by employees and customers, the value and quality of Internet service, and the firm's performance. This implies that the service orientation is an Important factor In the on-line service organizations and that the internet business can be successful when the service orientation is diffused throughout the firm's organizations. It is also shown that the important factors, which connect Internet service orientation and its performance, are the service quality, value of Internet service and customer satisfaction. That is, the service orientation can ultimately lead to the corporate performance when customers are satisfied after confirming the value and quality of Internet service by visiting the web site.

목포지역 민간 사회사업기관의 출현과 특징에 관한 연구 (Study on the the Emergence and Characteristics of Private Social Service Organizations in the Mokpo Region)

  • 본 연구는 목포지역 민간 사회사업기관의 출현과 특징을 공식화하고, 이 이면에 담긴 사회적 배경과 사회복지적 함의를 이끌어 내는 탐색적 연구이다. 이를 위해 목포지역 민간 사회사업기관의 출현과 특징을 살펴보기 위해 시기적으로 목포 개항시기인 1897년에서 민간 사회사업 실천이 활발하게 진행되었던 1960년대 후반까지의 민간 사회사업기관의 형성과 특징을 살펴보았다. 분석결과 첫째, 목포지역 주민의 사회적 욕구에 대한 민간 사회사업기관들의 대응이 주요한 역할을 함을 이해할 수 있다. 둘째, 민간 사회사업기관의 출현과 전개과정에서 민간 조직의 역할이 크다고 할지라도, 지속적인 전개를 위해서는 정부와 사회적 지원이 필수적임이 확인되었다.

지역적 환경과 제도적 특성을 고려한 사회서비스 공급체계 분석 (Characteristics of Social Service Provision According to the Community Size and Financial Provision Types)

  • 본 연구는 사회서비스의 핵심적 공급환경인 지역유형과 제도환경인 재정지원방식에 주목하여 사회서비스 공급현황과 공급체계의 특성을 파악하고자 하였다. 지역유형별로 사회서비스가 공급현황에 차이가 있는지, 재정지원방식별로 어떠한 공급특성이 나타나고 있는지, 그리고 이러한 제도적, 지역적 차이가 실제로 사회서비스 공급체계 내 하위요소들 간 관계(타기관, 이용자, 공공부문)에는 어떻게 반영되고 있는지를 파악하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 이를 위해 '2015년 사회서비스 수요공급실태조사'의 원자료를 활용하여 4,100개의 사회서비스 공급기관 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 공급기관(재정)지원방식 서비스의 경우 이용자(재정)지원서비스나 시장방식 서비스와 비교해서 타기관간 경쟁의 정도나 이용자와의 관계에서 역점사항, 정부에 대한 정책적 요구도에서 대도시, 중소도시, 농어촌의 지역유형 간 격차가 크지 않았다. 이용자지원서비스는 이용자와의 관계에서, 시장방식서비스의 경우 정부와의 관계에서 이러한 지역 간 격차가 뚜렷이 나타났다. 대도시 지역에서는 이용자지원방식이 시장방식과 유사하게 작동되고 있는 반면 농어촌 지역에서는 공급기관지원방식과 유사한 방식으로 움직이고 있었다. 대도시나 중소도시에 비해 농어촌에서 경쟁기관의 수가 상당히 적으며, 이용자와의 관계에서 있어서도 홍보나 마케팅과 같은 시장전략이 중시되지 않았다. 시장방식서비스도 농어촌에서는 경쟁기관수가 대도시나 중소도시에 비해 확연히 적고, 직접적인 국가의 정책지원을 상당히 필요로 하는 것으로 나타났다. 시장기제를 활용(이용자지원과 시장방식)하는 사회서비스 공급방식이 농어촌지역에서는 자연스럽게 작동되기 어렵다는 것을 보여준다.

산업보건서비스기관의 운영 효율성 분석 - 자료포락분석(DEA)기법을 이용하여 - (Evaluation of Managerial Efficiency in Occupational Health Service Organizations Using the Data Envelopment Analysis Method)

  • This study analyzed the managerial efficiency of 11 organizations, the branch centers of a occupational health service organization in Korea, using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. The DEA is a good method for evaluating health services since it can handle multiple inputs and outputs simultaneously, and also identify the sources and amount of inefficiency. The author approached this study using two efficient models: the monetary value model and the real value model. The DEA method based on the monetary value model included cost factors, while the real value model excluded cost factors. The input variables used were manpower of physicians, medical technicians, nurses, industrial hygienists and administrators; labor, maintenance, and material expenses. The output variables used were the number of medical examinations, workplace evaluations, group health management services and income from each service. The major results were as follows: First, in the monetary value model, 6 out of 11 organizations (54.6%) showed an efficiency score of 1.0, which means that they have been operating in very efficient ways. However, 5 organizations (46.4%) showed themselves to be relatively inefficient. Second, in the real value model, 7 out of 11 organizations (63.4%) showed an efficiency score of 1.0, which means they have been operating efficiently, while 4 organizations (46.4%) showed themselves to be relatively inefficient. Third, the reliability of DEA method were analyzed by comparing the results of the monetary value model and real value model. The results of 8 out of 11 organizations were same in terms of being efficient or not. Thus, the DEA could be a valid application method for occupational health service organizations. Fourth, the organizations that displayed common inefficiency in both the monetary value model and in the real value model 3, 9, and 10, were also considered to be managed inefficiency from expertise opinion. In summary, this study evaluated the efficiency of occupational health service organizations applying the DEA method with different variables, and found that the results of analysis could be valid in terms of both modeling and expert sense. In the future, the DEA method will be used as a useful tool to identify and evaluate the efficiency of occupational health service organizations through more applications and refinements.

지역아동센터의 네트워크 연계기관수 및 네트워크 지속성, 서비스 지속성 영향요인 연구 - 전북지역을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Factors Influencing the Number of Network Organizations, Network Continuity and Service Continuity of Community Child Centers - Focusing on Chonbuk Province -)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore how the number of network organizations, network continuity and service continuity of community child centers were affected by the charge factors, organizational factors and environmental factors of community child centers. To better understand this, we researched 107 community child centers in Chonbuk Province. The key results are as follows. The interpersonal connections of the charge factors had a strong effect on the number of network organizations, but organizational factors and environmental factors appeared to have no effect on the number of network organizations. The operational type(religious group), organizational support level of the organizational factors and public-private cooperation, regular consultative group operation(no) of the environmental factors appeared to have an effect on the level of network continuity. The region(local), regular consultative group operation(yes) and public-private cooperation of the environmental factors appeared to have an effect on the level of service continuity. It was hoped that the results would enable us to explore how factors related to a network had an effect on the service continuity, the number of network organizations and clients referral network continuity, and they appeared to have an effect on the service continuity.
