고속철도역의 연계환승시설 서비스 수준 평가 (The Service Evaluation of Connection and Transfer Facilities in the High-speed Railway Stations)

  • The introduction of KTX (Korea Train eXpress) provided passengers with a much faster mode of transport, and KTX has become a model railway system. Express railway stations are emphasized as public transit transfer centers, but their service evaluations were not performed appropriately so far. It is possible to know the level of service by developing valuation criteria for their evaluations. The evaluation of transfer centers mainly consists of two parts; connective service with other travel m odes, and transfer service inside transfer stations. Connection is defined as the inter-connection of multi-transportation vehicles, and transfer means that a passenger changes his travel mode to another. Such connective service and transfer service are evaluated by the level of service in terms of transfer facilities, the appropriateness of station layout and the quality of information throughout the facilities. We developed the service evaluation indicators of connective facilities and referred to the indicators of transfer facilities. We examined the 7 stations in Korea that are currently in operation and standardized the methodology of the evaluation process by applying the indicators suggested in this study.

  • The introduction of KTX(Korea Train Express) has brought an historic change to the overall transit system in Korea. Especially, the high-speed railway stations are expanding the scope as public transit centers. However, we cannot deny that the evaluation on the high-speed railway stations had not been performed successfully so far. The evaluation covers from the connectivity of the scope from door to the stations and the transfer service in the interior of stations. We developed the service evaluation indicators of transfer facilities in the high-speed railway stations. The indicators consist of level of service(LOS), the propriety of allocation, and the quality of information throughout the facilities in the centers. We examined the 7 stations in Korea and standardized the methodology of the evaluation process by applying the indicators. Also, the evaluation is performed easy for anyone to follow.

노인장기요양시설 서비스의 질 평가 탐색 : 포커스 그룹 연구 (Evaluation of Service Quality in Aged Care Facilities : A Focus Group Study)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to explore the meaning and contents of high-quality aged care facilities and provide basic data for evaluation of service quality in such facilities. Methods: The focus group interviews and participants consisted of two user groups, for a total of 16 family caregivers of the elderly living in facilities and four service provider groups, for a total of 26 chief managers and caregivers working in aged care facilities. All interviews were recorded and transcribed as they occurred. Content analysis was used and debriefing notes were referred to in order to analyze the data. Results: Four themes of a high-quality aged care facility emerged from the analysis; 1) a place to rest for comfortable later years; 2) systematic value-based management; 3) providing professional care; 4) comprehensive service provision in response to diverse needs. Conclusion: The findings of the study showed the importance of client centered care and ethical mindset of providers, which had not been included in the existing quality evaluation programs. Based on these results, medical treatments, end-of-life care and more comprehensive and extended services including family care need to be provided in facilities to ensure good quality aged care.

요양보호사 교육기관 교육서비스 질 평가 도구개발 (Development of an Evaluation Instrument for Education Services Quality in Learning Facilities for Care Workers)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the important factors of education service quality and to develop the evaluation instrument in learning facilities for care workers. This study was processed as four steps. First, the important factors were confirmed through literature reviews and the expert board discussions. Second, the evaluation instrument was developed and validity & reliability of the instrument were checked by factor analysis and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. Lastly, the instrument was rechecked by the expert board in language usages and importance of the items. The results indicated that the important quality factors were divided with infrastructure and service process. Especially, the process contained providing appropriate education information & counseling, providing appropriate contract & paying fees, keeping specified service principles and so on. The study instrument was developed with 28 items. This instrument will be helpful to improve the education service quality. Besides, the staffs must continuously try to improve and manage their education services using the results of this kind of evaluation instrument.

네일 샵의 서비스 품질 요인에 대한 평가 (Evaluation of Service Quality Factors on the Nailcare Shop)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the service quality evaluation on the skill and expert, the shop facilities and atmosphere, the time and access, and the price and benefit of a nail care shop by age, income, spendings of appearance and a nail care, and a regular nail care. The survey was performed with questionnaires and the subjects were was 240 consumers who used the nail care. The data were analyzed by frequencies, F-test, T-test, Factor Analysis, one way ANOVA. The results of the study were as follows: Service quality evaluation were classified four factors- the price and benefits, the skill and expertness, the facilities and atmosphere, the time and access. There were no statistically significant differences in the price and benefits by age, income, spendings of appearance and a nail care, and a regular nail care, but there were statistically significant differences in the skill and expertness, the facilities and atmosphere, and the time and access. The service quality on the time and access was evaluated as high by the consumer in the 30s, with more income, and with high appearance and nail care spendings. The service quality on the shop facilities and atmosphere was evaluated as high by the consumers with high nail care spending. The consumers with a regular nail care evaluated the service quality on the skill and expertness, the time and access, the shop facilities and atmosphere as high.

노인요양시설 입소자의 장기요양등급 개선과 서비스 질 관련요인 (The Related Factors with Improvement of Long-term Care Need of Residents and Quality of Service in Long-term Care Facility)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among staffing, occupancy rate, upward level change of long-term care need, and evaluation grade of facility. Data were obtained from National Health Insurance Corporation Database. Occupancy rate and evaluation grade were highest in National/public operating facilities, while they were worst in individual operating facilities. The percents of A or B grade in evaluation grade (by newly enforced law) is highest in National/public operating facilities. Multiple regression analysis showed that upward level change of care needs was very weakly associated with the number of doctors. Evaluation grade showed a weak and significant association with occupancy ratey(by old-version law)(r=.20, p<.01), upward level change of care need in group home(r=.23, p<.01) Staffing in facility did not show significantly consistent association with upward level change of care needs, evaluation grade, and occupancy rate.

  • 국내 공공시설물의 유지관리체계는 시설물의 안전을 유지하기 위한 진단 및 보수 개념에서 시설물의 성능을 평가하여 유지관리하는 성능평가 방법으로 전환되고 있다. 그러나 국내에서는 시설물의 유지관리를 위한 성능평가 방법이 정립되지 않아 성능평가가 적절하게 이루어지고 있지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 시설물의 안전관리 위주로 한 단순 유지관리전략을 보완하기 위해 성능평가 개념을 도입한 자산관리 모델을 제안한다. 본 모델은 시설물의 유지관리 정보를 수집하는 방법으로 WBS를 활용하는 방법을 제안하여 기존 모델과의 차별화를 이루었다. 또한, 본 모델에는 시설물의 성능평가에서 가장 중요한 서비스 수준 평가방법과 성능척도 요소를 제안하였으며, 사례분석을 하여 본 모델의 적절성을 평가하였다.

서울형 노인요양시설 지정 및 운영을 위한 정책 연구 (A Study on Designation and Management of Seoul-Type Elderly Care Facilities)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study to assess long-term care facilities in Seoul and certificate Seoul-type elderly care facilities. After certification, Seoul city can provide certificated facilities with budget and support to improve service quality. Methods: Questionnaires to elderly care facilities experts and field surveys to facilities in Seoul have been conducted for the data collection. Results: The result of this study can be summarized into three points. The first one is that a direction of operation for Seoul-type elderly care facilities is to improve manpower and provide special program for enforcing quality assurance. The second one is that this study provide index of evaluation for Seoul-type elderly care facilities. The indexes include management, facility environment and safety, service delivery process, and service results. The third one is that management plan for this policy should be carried out. The management plan include demonstration project, opinion research. Implications: Seoul-type elderly care facilities can have positive effects on quality of service. For the introduction of this policy, Seoul city and autonomous Gu have to make careful preparations for this policy.

계룡산 국립공원 동학사 제2집단시설지구의 위치선정평가 및 대안비교 (The Evaluation and Comparison of Alternative Site for the Second Service Facilities Zone near the Tonghak Temple in Mt. Kyeryong National Park)

  • The national park should be preserved in accordance with the regulation, but the development planning or facilities management planning has not been faithful to the spirits of the regulation. Recently natural environment has been radically changed, and especially damaged by large scale development of Service Facilities Zone. Thus the effective land use planning of the national park is required. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose the alternative site for The Second Service Facilities Zone in Mt. Kyeryong National Park using the GIS, and to compare the alternative site with the existing development site. Site selection was based on Rules of Combination which covers topographic analysis, viewshod analysis, distance analysis from hot spring well, land use analysis, and forest stand analysis.

  • KTX(Korea Train Express)의 도입은 우리나라 교통시스템 전반에 획기적인 변화를 가져왔다. 특히 고속철도역은 단순한 철도역이 아닌 통합적인 대중교통 환승센터로 그 의미가 확장되고 있다. 그러나 그동안 고속철도역에 대한 평가가 제대로 이루어지지 못한 것이 사실이다. 고속철도역의 평가는 출발지에서 고속철도역까지의 연계와 내부의 환승 서비스에 대한 평가가 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 고속철도역 내부 환승시설의 서비스 평가를 위하여 표준화된 지표를 개발하였다. 서비스 평가지표는 환승시설의 서비스수준(LOS), 시설배치의 적정성, 정보수준으로 이루어진다. 서비스 평가지표를 활용하여 고속철도역 환승시설에 대한 평가지표별 평가 기준과 방법론을 제시하였다. 최종적으로, 현재 이용 중인 전국의 7개 고속철도역을 평가해 보았다.
