도서관 네트워크의 정의의 분석과 유형별 특성 (Analysis on the definition and typology of library networks)

  • This study has been aimed to analyze the following three points which are believed to be the most important in establishing efficient library networks. The writers have done the research into the literature and references concerning the networks of library, as they are considered crucial functions in cooperative administration between the libraries. The following are the findings from the survey: 1) The established networks in foreign countries have been compared with those of Korea, basing upon the data and present situations in both areas and the definition and agreed viewpoint of the networks are presented. 2) The relations between the existing Library system and Consortia were clarified in view of the current trend, thus showing the scope and integral aspects of them. 3) Finally, we have classified the types of network into four categories, such as search service network, customized service network, service center/network and state local networks, and made through analysis of the character, organization and management of each realm.

Nonlinear analysis of service stresses in reinforced concrete sections-closed form solutions

  • This paper presents an algorithm for the evaluation of stresses in reinforced concrete sections under service loads. The algorithm is applicable to any section defined by polygonal contours and is based on an analytical integration of the stresses. The nonlinear behaviour of concrete is represented by the parabola-rectangle law used in the Eurocode-2 for the ultimate concrete design. An integrated definition of the strains in concrete and steel is possible by the use of Heaviside functions, similarly to what is done for ultimate section design in Barros et al. (2004). Other constitutive equations for the definition of the stresses in the concrete or steel can be easily incorporated into the code. The examples presented consist in the evaluation of resulting axial load and bending moment in an irregular section and in a section in L shape. The results, for service stresses, can also be plotted in terms of design abacus; a rectangular doubly reinforced section is presented as example.

  • A service composition has received much interest to provide users with the ad-hoc, seamless, and context-sensitive services dynamically composed from various networked services in context-aware computing environments. In this paper, with the purpose of guiding trends in the researches for dynamic service composition technologies, we investigate and analyze the major related works. For this, we separate semantic based composition from syntax based composition and then establish the comparison criteria by dividing the service composition processes into 3 steps:definition, construction, and execution.

Characterizing Semantic Warnings of Service Description in Call Processing Language on Internet Telephony

  • The Call Processing Language (CPL, in short), recommended in RFC 2824 of IETF, is a service description language for the Internet Telephony. The CPL allows users to define their own services, which dramatically improves the choice and flexibility of the users. The syntax of the CPL is strictly defined by DTD (Document Type Definition). However, compliance with the DTD is not a sufficient condition for correctness of a CPL script. There are enough rooms for non-expert users to make semantical mistakes in the service logic, which could lead to serious system down. In this paper, we present six classes of semantic warnings for the CPL service description: MF, IS, CR, AS, US, OS. For each class, we give the definition and its effects with an example script. These warnings are not necessarily errors. However, these warnings will help users to find ambiguity, redundancy and inconsistency in their own service description.

Bird's Eye View Semantic Segmentation based on Improved Transformer for Automatic Annotation

  • High-definition (HD) maps can provide precise road information that enables an autonomous driving system to effectively navigate a vehicle. Recent research has focused on leveraging semantic segmentation to achieve automatic annotation of HD maps. However, the existing methods suffer from low recognition accuracy in automatic driving scenarios, leading to inefficient annotation processes. In this paper, we propose a novel semantic segmentation method for automatic HD map annotation. Our approach introduces a new encoder, known as the convolutional transformer hybrid encoder, to enhance the model's feature extraction capabilities. Additionally, we propose a multi-level fusion module that enables the model to aggregate different levels of detail and semantic information. Furthermore, we present a novel decoupled boundary joint decoder to improve the model's ability to handle the boundary between categories. To evaluate our method, we conducted experiments using the Bird's Eye View point cloud images dataset and Cityscapes dataset. Comparative analysis against stateof-the-art methods demonstrates that our model achieves the highest performance. Specifically, our model achieves an mIoU of 56.26%, surpassing the results of SegFormer with an mIoU of 1.47%. This innovative promises to significantly enhance the efficiency of HD map automatic annotation.

  • 본 논문은 클라우드 서비스를 위한 초고화질 영상 송수신 미디어 플랫폼인 레고형 UHD(Ultra High Definition) 미디어 플랫폼을 제안한다. 이 플랫폼을 이용하면 옥/내외 환경에서 UHD 영상을 이용할 수 있는 클라우드 서비스를 자유롭게 공유할 수 있고, 차세대 무선 통신기술(802.11ac, LTE Broadcast 등)이 적용된 다양한 미디어 제품과 제안된 플랫폼을 활용한다면 누구나 손쉽게 개발시킬 수 있으며, 다양한 비즈니스 모델에 적용할 수 있어 새로운 시장과 산업 창출을 기대 할 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

A Study on the Development of Service Quality Scale in Traditional Market for Big Data Analysis

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a measure of service quality in the traditional market by examining previous research on the service quality of the traditional market studied so far. After defining basic concepts through definition of traditional market and existing studies, 5 categories of configuration items for SERVQUAL measurement in traditional market were made up based on existing researches related to definition of service quality and service quality of traditional market. A survey was conducted on the items that fit the intention of this study and various statistical analyzes were conducted. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. The reliability of the items was measured by the reliability test, and the predictability and accuracy of the items were examined. The validity of the measured variables was verified through confirmatory factor analysis. Reliability, empathy, responsiveness, certainty, and tangibility were the most important factors in this study. Responsiveness factors include communication, time reduction, real time, promptness. Assurance factors include the assurance of delivery, prompt answers, product knowledge items. Tangibility factors include, convenient device systems, location information, presence as a fact, and as a result, the latest modern items are adopted. The quality of service in the traditional market developed in this study was found to be good in reliability and validity test. Confirmatory factor analysis result using structural equation model also met the conformity index standard. If service satisfaction is measured based on this research, basic data can be presented to policy makers who implement policies on traditional markets to make the right decisions. In addition, it will be able to provide traditional market operators with operational strategy and marketing data. In the future, based on the traditional market service quality scale developed in this study, it is necessary to grasp the factors to be continuously managed to improve the service quality of the traditional market, user satisfaction, and intention to use.

CORBA 환경에서 실시간 서비스 지원을 위한 분산 객체의 그룹화 및 관리 (Distributed Objects' Grouping and Management for Supporting Real-time Service in CORBA Environments)

  • It is proposed in TINA, the open information telecommunication network architecture, that the definition of object group which is collection of objects provides a decrease of complex networking and a facility of object managing by service executing of application on distributed computing environment. Based on a new distributed object group model[13] we have been researched according to TINA specification, this paper proposed the object group model with the scheduler object and objects management mechanisms that can support real-time services on CORBA. To do this, we described the definition of object grouping and the requirements to suggest the object group model supporting real-time service, designed the object group structure and functional components containing in an object group using James Rumbaugh's modelling[12], and showed a class diagram of components in an object group. This paper designed IDLs of an object group manager and scheduler among the components, and finally showed the procedures of management and service interconnections between objects in the different object groups vi ETD.

HFC 망에서 대용량 방송서비스를 위한 채널 결합 기반 전송 방식 및 시뮬레이터 개발 (Transmission Method and Simulator Development with Channel bonding for a Mass Broadcasting Service in HFC Networks)

  • 최근에는 UHD(Ultra High Definition) 방송과 같은 단일 채널 전송용량을 초과하는 새로운 대용량 방송 서비스들이 소개되고 있다. 이러한 대용량 방송 콘텐츠를 전송하기 위해 주로 통신 채널을 통한 데이터 전송에 사용되던 채널 결합 기술들을 적용한 솔루션들이 검토되고 있다. HFC(Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) 망에서는 양방향 데이터 전송서비스를 제공하기 위해서 적용하고 있는 DOCSIS 3.0(Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification 3.0) 규격이 상/하향 채널 결합 기술을 지원하고 있다. 주로 하향 채널을 이용한 단방향 전송 특성을 갖는 방송서비스에 이러한 채널 결합 기술을 적용하기 위해서는 DOCSIS 3.0 규격과는 다른 전송 방식에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 또한, 방송을 위해 다수의 전송 채널을 점유하는 대용량 방송 콘텐츠의 특성 상 기존과 같은 CBR(Constant Bit Rate) 전송보다는 전송 대역 효율 측면에서 유리한 VBR(Variable Bit Rate) 전송에 관한 연구필요성도 제기되고 있다. 이와 더불어 전송 지연 및 지터에 민감한 방송서비스의 특성 상 채널 결합을 위한 채널 할당 및 전송 스케줄링에 관한 연구도 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 HFC 망에서 UHD(Ultra High Definition) 방송콘텐츠와 같은 대용량 방송콘텐츠를 전송하기 위해서 채널 결합 기반의 VBR 방송콘텐츠 전송 방식을 제안하고, OPNET 기반의 전송 시뮬레이터를 개발하여 제안한 전송 방식의 성능을 평가한다. 이를 위해, HFC 망에서 대용량 방송콘텐츠를 전송하기 위한 다양한 시나리오를 정의하고, 전송 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 각 시나리오별 전송 성능을 평가한다. 개발된 시뮬레이터를 통해서 HFC 망에서 효율적으로 대용량 방송서비스를 제공하기 위해 VBR 콘텐츠 전송 및 채널 결합 기술의 필요성을 검토하고 전송 시나리오 별 전송 성능을 평가한다. 이를 통해 개발된 시뮬레이터는 향후 효율적인 대용량 방송콘텐츠 전송 기술 및 시스템 개발에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

유리수 지수 정의에 대한 교사 이해 분석 (Teachers' understanding of the definition of rational exponent)

  • 본 연구는 유리수 지수 정의에 대한 교사의 이해 특징을 분석하여 교사 교육에의 시사점을 구체화하고, 지수의 확장을 지도하는 수업에서 정의의 본질 및 그 이면의 사고를 다루기 위해 고려할 필요가 있는 교수학적 쟁점을 밝히는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 지필검사 도구를 개발하여 현직 고등학교 교사 50명의 답변을 분석하였으며, 이를 토대로 유리수 지수 정의에 대한 교사의 이해 특징이 교사 교육에 주는 시사점 및 교수학적 쟁점을 기술하였다. 또한 이러한 시사점 및 교수학적 쟁점을 국내 교과서 전개 방식에 비추어 해석하여 수업을 통해 지수의 확장과 관련된 정의의 본질을 의미있게 다루기 위해 교사 및 교과서가 좀 더 주목할 필요가 있는 측면을 제언하였다.
