Purpose: This study was done to evaluate the operating status of community-based home health center for revitalization of the centers. Method: In this study performance data including organization plan and service utilization plan were evaluated according process theory. Target of evaluation was the community-based home health care center. Results: The vulnerable part of the organization was the information system and financial resources. The home health center introduced PDA (Personal Digital Assistants) in 2005, however home health care nurses did not make full use of it. This service received full support from Seoul city and local government and there were no other sources of income. The vulnerable part of service utilization was service expansion and standardization due to vulnerability of organizational aspects. Conclusions: The home health care center provides high quality services to underprivileged people. In the future, these services should be provided with equity for continuous health care for this population.

Liposarcoma is a malignant tumor originated from adipose tissue, accounting for 20% of all soft tissue sarcomas. A 69-year-old man with anterior and posterior neck mass visited to our department and we performed an excisional biopsy in level I. Histopathological examination revealed liposarcoma, so we performed wide excision in anterior and posterior neck, and adjuvant radiotherapy. We report a unique case of well-differentiated liposarcoma on anterior and posterior neck with literature review. To our best knowledge, such case has not been reported earlier in Korea previously.

Salivary gland tumors take possession of almost 5% in head and neck malignancies. Among these, mucoepidermoid carcinoma(MEC) is most common malignany in major salivary glands(12-29%) and the parotid gland is most predilection site. Intra-oral MEC has a tendency to various locations, and the predilection sites are palate, cheek, mandible, lip and tongue in order of frequency. A few cases of MEC are occurred in with retromolar trigone, oropharynx, and ectopic salivary gland. Recently, we experienced a-65-year old woman with retromolar trigonal mass, and she was finally diagnosed as MEC. We report it with review of literature.

Warthin's tumor (WT) is second most common neoplasm in the parotid gland and it can be accompanied by inflammation and necrosis. The chest wall inflammation may present a rapid and fatal clinical course and secondary to parotid abscess is extremely rare. An 81-year-old man came to emergency room complained of rapidly enlarged left parotid mass and inflammatory symptoms and signs around the upper lateral neck. We performed incision and drainage with adequate infection control. He was pathologically diagnosed as abscess. We report the unique and instructive clinical case with a literature review.

전자전화번호부 서비스는 HiTEL단말기 및 기존의 PC를 소유한 가입자의 전화번호 관련문의에 대해 신속, 정확한 정보를 제공하는 비디오텍스 응용시스팀으로서 통신처리시스팀, 서비스검색시스팀, 화일관리시스팀으로 나뉠 수 있다. 전화번호화일은 가입자에 따라 인명부, 업종상호부로 나뉘어 CISAM 방식의 화일로 구현하였으며, 상호인 경우 1:N 필드관계를 지원하여 하나의 전화번호에 대해 다수 업종의 지원이 가능하다. 전화가입자의 일일 변동자료의 처리및 화일의 갱신에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

This research evaluated the present condition of the family voluntary service group and healthy family campaign, which was being carried out as one of the healthy family culture businesses of the Healthy Family-Support Center. Furthermore, it suggests ways to improve these business activities. Research centered on the analysis of business documents created between December 2006 and November 2007. The results were as follows. First, the family voluntary service group and the healthy family campaign business in the Center must be able to have specificity or individuality. Second, the Center must manage the scale, frequency, and contents of the businesses systematically. Third, the businesses must concern themselves with family life in general, make better use of the advisory committee or steering committee, concern variety of business performing system.

A Shared Services center (SSC) is created by removing common administrative functions from operational divisions within an organization, and centralizing the functions in a separate centre. SSC helps supporting organizations to focus on core activities and to achieve cost reduction as well as service quality enhancement. In contrast to many leading global companies which has been adopted SSCs from early 90's. A Company's HR SSC which has opened this year is the first genuine SSC practice in Korea. Centering on the case of A Company' s HR SSC implementation, we discussed on some practical implications for companies which has future plan to introduce a shared service center.

This paper describes the principles of reignition system which has newly been developed and used as KERI's high power testing facilities. Synthetic short-circuit testing method is generally adopted to perform the short-circuit test of the ultra high-voltage circuit breakers, which consists of two separated sources such as the current source from short-circuit generator and the voltage source from charged energy in capacitor. And, in case of synthetic short-circuit test, it will be necessary to use the reignition system in order to extending the arcing time of the circuit breaker and provide the arc energy equivalent to the direct testing method.

This paper presents the actual test data of 3 phase, 9 pole, 3.6 [kw] synchronized wind-power generator controlled by hinged vane system and the possibilities of the small mount wind-power generations at the south-east coast of Ul-san. It also shows the data of the wind-velocity acquired by wind-direction sensor, calculation and analysis of the estimated electrical generation power, energy storage systems, and the efficient usages of the wind-power system.

This paper presents for service restoration Abstract -in electric power distribution systems. The aim of the service restoration is an emergency control in distribution system to restore out-of service areas as soon as possible when a fault occurs in distribution system. For this reason, this paper presents a new service restoration strategy for multi-outage areas. Proposed algorithm consists of two methods. One is individual restoration scheme, the other one is integrated restoration scheme. The former determines restoration order of outage areas based on restoration index. If the former method can not generate a feasible restoration plan, the latter would try to find new configuration without overloaded section through tie exchange method.
