This paper implements the graphic service template authoring tool based on the service template object model of describing the meta information of the services for early childhood education in the semantic web service environment. Our proposed system provides the robot services by constructing web services automatically and making the appropriate service plans. Moreover, it can create, append, delete, and update the service templates of URC based on STDL, and provide the graphic function on service template resources. In order to provide the user friendly environment in the service template phase, we implement the various editing environment : flow view style, grid view style, and text view style. We also provide the easy editing function by realizing abstract service block based on the robot API. Finally we can offer the intelligent and autonomous service of service agent based on semantic information.

Multimedia services through a network are getting more required according to the realization of B-ISDN construction globally. Business using the Internet will become popular, and so multimedia information systems including telemarketing systems will be developed competitively. VR (Virtual Reality) will help such systems make more realistic and valuable. ln this paper, we present an interactive VR authoring tool and a client/server based multimedia information service system. The VR authoring tool serves an interface with the system when developing its applications.

Recently, according as USN application service models have been integrated each other and have become various, the need on the development of monitoring programs corresponding each service model has been risen steadily. However, if we stick to the traditional method developing independently each service model, we might pay unnecessary expenses. In this paper, we propose the monitoring program authoring tool for USN. Furthermore, we introduce an implementing example of the forest fire prevention monitoring system for verification of the proposed tool. The tool adopted the framework based programming and the S/W reusability techniques for minimizing waste of redeveloping cost.

According to the increasing interests of medical information services for healthy living, the multimedia authoring tools for medical information service contents are strongly required. In this paper, a new multimedia authoring tool supporting user-friendly interfaces is implemented, which is based on SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) producing Web-based multimedia contents. The implemented authoring tool in this paper not only provides functionalities to play, verify and modify the partial contents immediately but also offers capabilities to insert multimedia objects into contents with ease. The multimedia contents containing disparate healthcare and medical information can be easily designed with this tool. The enhanced usability of this tool can contribute to the realization of diverse medical information services.

Recently both the importance and the interests of field-experience learning have kept increasing since the Education of Ministry encourages students to take a field-experience learning with the self-driven and creative education as the main issue in the 7th revised education curriculum in 2009. As the importance of field-experience learning goes up continuously, not only the release of its related mobile applications is increasing, but also a variety of researches for supporting the field-experience learning are ongoing. In this research we perform two things. First, we define the basic concept of authoring tool for which support the field-experience learning based on its characteristics and user requirements analysis. We confirmed that the authoring tool for the field-experience learning has to 1) support all activities that happen in pre-field, field-experience and post-field phases, 2) be possible to write the location-based field work, 3) have the authoring function which reflects the characteristics of curriculum such as history, science and geography, etc. that the field learning can be realized, 4) be designed as the structure that the results of inquiring activity after the field experience activity can be reused. Second, we create a conceptual design after confirming the authoring tool.

In this paper, we propose contents authoring, management, and distribution technologies where the contents registered in secure storage through a content acquisition and authoring tool can be used as a common experience in smartphones, smart pads, and PCs. Currently, many people are producing and consuming various types of contents in bulk, and it is expected that real-time contents and old contents coexist as IoT(Internet of Things) technology is commonly deployed in the future. Therefore, we need to develop a differentiated service that can compete with global services in contents authoring and collaboration systems to create new markets. Accordingly, we implemented an authoring service platform to occupy cloud markets with high quality contents produced through collaboration.

This paper proposes a method of simplification for robot simulation creation using functional concise script. General robotics simulation authoring tools require professional knowledge regarding development language and their APIs, and these prerequisites are considered as a big obstacle in implementing robotics simulation. In order to resolve these problems, we developed an authoring tool using functional concise script in building simulation environment, and this concise script composes of simplified service commands and minimum options. In experiment, we educated students and teachers in High school to use this authoring tool and we verified that the proposed method makes it possible to build robotics simulation environment and control simulated robots through one-day training course for the novices.

Various contents are needed by many users as more developing the internet technologies. However, the conventional contents service structure can't support these requirements sufficiently. Therefor, the UCC that novel contents type is made based on the Web 2.0 concepts. It is needed the contents authoring tools that can use easily for creating multimedia UCC. In this paper, we present a design and implementation of a TV-Anytime metadata authoring tool for providing personalized data-broadcasting services. The TV-Anytime specifies metadata schema, metadata coding and delivery, and provides service models to provide personalized broadcasting content services at anytime when users want to consume using metadata including ECG (Electronic Content Guide) and content descriptive information in a PDR (Personal Digital Recorder)-centric environment. In spite of a useful services based on TV-anytime metadata, the metadata authoring still remains as a harassing and time consuming task. For easy metadata authoring, the proposed metadata authoring provides the following key functionalities: metadata visualization, media access, and semi-automatic method for editing segment related metadata.
