두 개의 Quasi Z-소스 AC-AC 컨버터에 의한 6.6[kV]/60[Hz] 배전계통의 동적 전압 보상기(DVR) (Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) for 6.6[kV]/60[Hz] Power Distribution System Using Two Quasi Z-Source AC-AC Converters)

  • This paper proposes a quasi Z-source DVR(Dynamic Voltage Restorer) system with a series connection of the output terminals, to compensate the voltage variations in the 6.6[kV]/60[Hz] power distribution system. The conventional DVR using one quasi Z-source AC-AC converter has the advantage which it can compensate the voltage variations without the need for the additional energy storage device such as a battery, but it is impossible to compensate for the 50[%] under voltage sags. To solve this problem, a DVR system using two quasi Z-source AC-AC converters with the series connection of the output terminals is proposed. By controlling the duty ratio D in the buck-boost mode, the proposed system can control the compensation voltage. For case verification of the proposed system, PSIM simulation is achieved. As a result, in case that the voltage sags-swells occur 10[%], 20[%], 60[%] in power distribution system, and, in case that the 50[%] under voltage sags-swells continuously occur, all case could compensate by the proposed system. Especially, the compensated voltage THD was examined under the condition of the 10[%]~50[%] voltage sags and the 20[${\Omega}$]~100[${\Omega}$] load changes. The compensated voltage THD was worse for the higher load resistances and more severe voltage sags. Finally, In case of the voltage swells compensation, the compensation factor has approached nearly 1 regardless of the load resistance changes, while the compensation factor of voltage sags was related to the load variations.

직렬아크현상의 검출기술 및 장치 (Detection Technique and Device of Series Arcing Phenomena)

  • 전력계통에서 아크현상이 원인이 되는 전기화재는 전기제품의 사용증가에 따라 급증하고 있으나, 이들 사고를 방지할 수 있는 확립된 방법은 없다. 이들 배경에서 본 논문은 공기조화기에서 직렬아크 검출 기술과 장치에 대한 실험적 결과에 대해 기술하였다. 공기조화기의 불완전한 접속부에서 발생하는 직렬아크를 모의하고, 주파수 스펙트럼을 FFT로 분석한 결과, 190 kHz~250 kHz와 900 kHz~1.6 MHz 에 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 저역차단주파수가 170 kHz이며 60 Hz를 176 dB까지 감쇄시킬 수 있는 아크검출 및 파형정형 회로를 설계하였다. 또한 스위치 조작, 인버터 운전 및 서지 등에 의해 발생하는 노이즈로부터 직렬아크신호를 분리할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 적용실험은 UL1699에 규정 되어있는 아크발생장치를 이용하여 여러 형태의 공기조화기에서 수행되었으며, 99 %이상 검출능력을 나타내었다.

히트펌프 직렬운전에 의한 성능 향상 가능성에 관한 연구 (Potential Performance Enhancement of Dual Heat Pump Systems through Series Operation)

  • 본 연구에서는 두 대의 히트펌프를 이용하여 $60^{\circ}C$의 난방 공급을 하는 경우에 대하여, 병렬운전을 할 경우의 성능과 직렬운전을 할 경우의 성능을 서로 비교함으로써, 직렬운전에 의한 성능 향상 가능성을 연구하였다. 두 경우의 성능을 공정하게 비교하기 위하여, 히트펌프를 구성하는 열교환기의 전열면적을 고정하였으며, 부하측 및 열원측의 입구 유량 및 온도 조건을 고정하였다. 또한, 보다 현실적인 결과를 위하여 열교환기 내 열전달 및 압력강하 특성을 고려하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 직렬운전 시스템의 난방성능계수가 병렬운전 시스템의 난방성능계수에 비해 본 연구의 시뮬레이션 조건 하에서 약 5% 향상 될 수 있음을 관찰하였다.

천수역 선체 부가질양에 대한 추정 근사식에 관한 연구 (The Prediction of the Hydrodynamic Coefficients of Added Mass for Ship in Shallow Waters)

  • In order to improve the ship maneuverability, It is important to estimate precisely the hydrodynamic coefficients of added mass forces acting on a ship especially in shallow waters, and simple methods for predicting such hydrodynamic forces Is also very desirable. In the previous paper using 3-Dimension potential flow theory, it has been demonstrated that potential calculation is available to estimate added mass coefficients. The present work is aimed at the suggestion of the simplified formulas for predicting the translation and lateral motion of added mass coefficients in shallow water. So, 3-D potential flow theory is also used to calculate the added mass coefficients in deep and shallow waters for Series 60 model which has 5 different kinds of block coefficients (0.6-0.8), SR196 model and T/S HANNARA. After some series computation, simplified formulas for Predicting the added mass force in shallow waters is suggested based on the computation results of Series 60 model. The formulas consist of the combination of principal dimensions and the water depth; d/B, Cb, d/H. The predicted results are compared with the Computation results for SR196 model and T/S HANNARA. The precision of predicted results by simplified formulas are good enough for the practical use. (d/B : draft-Breadth ratio, d/H draft-Water depth ratio, Cb : Block coefficients).

Could immediate treatment change the management method of digital tendon musculotendinous junction avulsion?: a systematic review

  • Background: We conducted a systematic review of the literature to investigate the correlation between the interval to treatment and management of tendon avulsion ruptures in the musculotendinous junction (MTJ) of the forearm. Methods: A thorough literatures search for studies of tendon avulsion injuries at the forearm was conducted using PubMed, MEDLINE, CINAHL, and Cochrane databases in accordance with the PRISMA guidelines. In total, five case series and 15 case reports accounting for 87 injured tendons involving 60 patients were selected for the analysis. Results: Twenty-six patients had 44 tendon injuries associated with avulsion amputations, 31 patients had 38 tendon ruptures associated with closed avulsion injuries and three patients had five tendon ruptures associated with open avulsion injuries. Eighteen of the 49 (37%) patients were immediately treated for tendon ruptures and one of the 32 (3%) tendon ruptures treated via elective surgery was directly repaired. Additionally, 18 of the 30 (60%) tendons were directly repaired and 12 of the 30 (40%) tendons were transferred or side-to-side repaired in the immediately treated series. In contrast, one of the 28 (4%) tendon ruptures were directly repaired and 27 of the 28 (96%) tendons were transferred or side-to-side repaired in the electively treated series. Conclusion: In managing digital tendon avulsions at the MTJ, an immediate treatment could provide an opportunity to repair the ruptured tendon directly to the muscle.

승용차 시트용 폼의 진동전달율 최소화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Minimization of Transmissibility of Seat Foam in Passenger Vehicles)

  • One of the most important factor for the comfort of the passenger vehicles is the minimization of the compressible transmissibility during the running vehicles. Seat foam materials of I2 series(index 95 and the contents of isocyanate TDI was changed in percentages 75, 70, 65, 60, 50, 40) and DI series(density 50kg/$\textrm{m}^3$, index was changed 100, 95, 90) showed the significant differences in their transmissibility depended upon their chemical constitution such as index and contents of isocyanate TDI. The minimum trasmissibility of seat foam materials of I2 series was found from the materials with the contents of 65% isocyanate TDI and the index 95 at the frequency 4.79~5.31Hz. Also the minimum transmissibility of seat foam materials of DI series was found from the materials with the index 90 and the density of 50kg/$\textrm{m}^3$ at the frequency of 4.79~5.31Hz.

  • ABS sensor ring has been manufactured by P/M method using 400 series ferrite stainless steel. The results are as following: It is supposedly sufficient to use for control computer due to good experimental results of magnetic characteristics. Compared with sensor ring made by iron, 400 series ferrite stainless steel has shown a good corrosion resistance without an addition surface treatment. Thus the decreasing production process has been obtained. As a result of hardness and tensile test, 400 series ferrite stainless steel shown a good endurance when it is combined to C/V joint, and has a good hardness properties endurable to sand and pebble impact.

CNN 기반 대용량 시계열 데이터 압축 기법연구 (A Study of Big Time Series Data Compression based on CNN Algorithm)

  • In this paper, we implement a lossless compression technique for time-series data generated by IoT (Internet of Things) devices to reduce the disk spaces. The proposed compression technique reduces the size of the encoded data by selectively applying CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks) or Delta encoding depending on the situation in the Forecasting algorithm that performs prediction on time series data. In addition, the proposed technique sequentially performs zigzag encoding, splitting, and bit packing to increase the compression ratio. We showed that the proposed compression method has a compression ratio of up to 1.60 for the original data.

위장조영검사에서 화질 개선 방법 (Quality Improvement on Upper Gastrointestinal Series)

  • 위장조영검사는 위장에 바륨 또는 가스트로그라핀과 같은 조영제를 투여한 후 X선을 투과하여 진단하는 검사로서 일시적인 변비나 복통 외 특별한 부작용이 없는 것이 장점으로 위장계통의 질환 진단에 많이 이용되고 있다. 하지만 수검자의 검사에 대한 전반적인 이해부족으로 인한 검사 중 부적절한 움직임과 호흡조절로 화질과 검사의 정확성이 저하되는 경우가 빈번히 발생한다. 검사의 정확성 향상과 화질 개선의 방법으로 위장조영검사의 검사 과정과 주의할 점을 동영상으로 제작하여 검사 전 대기시간을 이용하여 시청하게 함으로써, 동영상을 이용한 교육이 화질 개선과 검사의 정확성 향상에 어느 정도 효과가 있는지 조사하였다. 2014년 위장조영검사 수검자 2,940명, 2015년 위장조영검사 수검자 3,076명 중 각각 30대부터 80대까지 10명씩 무작위 선출한 60명을 대상으로 교육 전, 후의 영상을 평가하였다. Image J 프로그램을 이용하여 각 영상의 프로파일에 대한 반치 폭을 측정함으로써 영상을 평가하였다. 반치 폭은 교육 전 0.208 mm, 교육 후 0.133 mm로 나타났다. 따라서 검사 전 동영상교육이 화질 개선에 효과가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Spalling Properties of High Strength Concrete Mixed with Various Mineral Admixtures Subjected to Fire

  • This study investigates the spalling properties of high strength concrete designed with various types of mineral admixture and diverse content ratios of polypropylene (PP) fiber. Experimental factors considered in series I are four pozzolan types of mineral admixture and series II consists of three shrinkage reducing types of mineral admixture. PP fiber was added 0.05, 0.10 and 0.15vol. % in each mixture of series I and series II, so that totally 27 specimens including control concretes in each series were prepared. Test results showed that the increase of fiber content decreased the slump flow of fresh concrete and increased or decreased the air content depending on the declining ratio of slump flow. For the properties of compressive strength, all specimens were indicated at around 50 MPa, which is high strength range; especially all specimens in series II were 60 MPa. Fire test was conducted in standard heating curve of ISO 834 with ${\phi}100{\times}200\;mm$ size of cylinder moulds for 1 hour. The specimens incorporating silica fume exhibited severe spalling and most specimens without the silica fume could be protected from the spalling occurrence in only 0.05vol % of PP fiber content. This fire test results demonstrated that the spalling occurrence in high strength concrete was not only affected by concrete strength related to the porosity of microstructure but also, even more influenced by micro pore structure induced by the mineral admixtures.
