CASA 기반 음성분리 성능 향상을 위한 형태 분석 기술의 응용 (Application of Shape Analysis Techniques for Improved CASA-Based Speech Separation)

  • We propose a new method to apply shape analysis techniques to a computational auditory scene analysis (CASA)-based speech separation system. The conventional CASA-based speech separation system extracts speech signals from a mixture of speech and noise signals. In the proposed method, we complement the missing speech signals by applying the shape analysis techniques such as labelling and distance function. In the speech separation experiment, the proposed method improves signal-to-noise ratio by 6.6 dB. When the proposed method is used as a front-end of speech recognizers, it improves recognition accuracy by 22% for the speech-shaped stationary noise condition and 7.2% for the two-talker noise condition at the target-to-masker ratio than or equal to -3 dB.

고속 자유/벽 제트 영역에서의 총온도 특성 고찰 (Total temperature investigation in free & wall jet regions)

  • 고속의 자유 제트 및 표면 충돌시 나타나는 벽제트 내에서의 총온도 분포가 측정되어졌다. 자유제트에서는 노즐 출구로부터 측정거리를 달리하며(Z/D=1,2,4,6) 외기를 포함하여 총온도 분포가 측정되었으며, 제트와 외기간 전단층에서의 에너지 분리현상을 확인하였다. 벽제트 영역에서는 충돌거리가 짧은 경우에 대하여 반경위치를 달리하며(R/D=1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2.0) 총온도 분포를 측정하여 벽제트 경계 및 벽근방에서의 에너지 분리현상을 확인하였으며, 단열벽면온도 분포와 이를 비교$\cdot$검토하여 설명하였다.

  • Low voltage actuation and high isolation characteristics are key features to be solved in electrostatic RF switch design. Since these parameters in the conventional parallel plate MEMS switch design are in trade-off relation, both requirements cannot be met simultaneously. In vertical comb design, however, the actuation voltage is independent to the vertical separation distance between the contact electrodes. Then, we can design the large separation distance between contact electrodes to get high isolation. We have designed an RF MEMS switch which has -40dB isolation at 5 GHz and 6 V operation voltages. The characteristics of the fabricated switch are being evaluate.

  • This paper deals with assessment of potential interference between grounding electrodes using ETM(Electrolytic Tank Modeling) method. When a test current flowed through grounding electrode, potential rise was measured and analyzed using an electrolytic tank in real time. In order to analyze the potential interference between grounding electrodes, ETM method was studies. Potential interference between isolated grounding electrodes was evaluated as functions of the separation distance between grounding electrodes and the configuration of grounding electrode to be induced. It was found that the separation distance between grounding electrodes in reducing the potential interference was a major factor.

  • In characterizing a suspension, heterogenety is included onto the previous characterization using solids concentrations and flocculent characteristics, because of its importance in hydrodynamics. The mechanism of interface formation during the sedimentation of concentrated suspension (thickening) is investigated from a microcosm consisting of four particles in a same plane and a smaller particle below. The critical distances after shich interface forms are calculated as a function of particle size ratio when the small particle is located in the middle of the squre datermined by the large particles. The results shows that the critical separation distance increase as the size ratio approaches to one (homogeneous suspension). This conforms to the trend of existing observations that homogeneous suspensions create the solid-liquid interface at much lower concentration (at al larger separation distance) that the heterogeneous suspensions.

와류 생성기를 이용한 수직벽 후류 제어의 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study of Manipulating the Vertical Fence Wake using the Vortex Generator)

  • The effect of vortex generators to manipulate the separated flow region behind the vertical fence was experimentally investigated. The experiments were performed in the circulating water channel. The parameters used in this study were the distance between the fence and vortex generators and size of vortex generators. Digital PIV method was applied to measure the instantaneous velocity fields around the fence. And the obtained flow properties were compared with those of fence How without the vortex generators. The obtained results quantitatively shows the specific size and distance of vortex generators which were effective to reduce the mean reattachment length of separation bubble behind the fence.

  • Because of the continuous growth of energy consumption and also the tendency to site power lines and pipelines along the same route, the close proximity of power lines and buried metallic pipelines has become more and more frequent. The lightning strokes collected by an electric substation or power line tower might cause arcing through the soil to an adjacent gas pipeline. This paper gives the review of the breakdown mechanism and the standards of separation distance between lower and pipelines.

  • This paper describes ground surface potential rises and touch voltage. The more soil resistivity of upper layer is lower, the more ground surface potential rise is increased. Ground surface potential rise is increased as the buried depth of ground rod in lowered. Ground surface potential rises were measured in the test site and compared with results by CDEGS program. Touch voltages according to the separation distance of ground rod were measured in four directions. Touch voltages were remarkably changed by separation distance and contact position.

후방 박리기포 감소를 위한 맥동제트의 최적화 연구 (Optimization Study of Pulsating Jet to Reduce the Separation Bubble behind the Fence)

  • We carried out the experiments which controled the periodic jet in front of the fence to alter the fence wake. The experiments were performed in circulating water channel and the vertical fence was submerged in the boundary layer. The frequency, jet nozzle distance and speed of jet passing the slit were investigated. Each case divided into 20 phases and phase-averaged results were compared with uncontrolled fence flow. From the results, we found the specific frequency and nozzle distance which were good for reducing the reattachment length. In this case, the reattachment length was decreased 35% compared with the uncontrolled fence flow.

AIS 기반 해양시설물과 선박간 권고 안전이격거리 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Selection of the Recommended Safety Distance Between Marine Structures and Ships Based on AIS Data)

  • 해양시설물은 선박의 통항에 간섭이 되는 위험요인이지만 현재 국내 법령 및 규정 상 해양시설물과 선박간의 명확한 이격거리의 규정은 없는 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 해양시설물과 선박의 안전이격거리를 분석하기 위하여 해양시설물 인근 선박의 통항량을 실측 AIS 정보를 기반으로 선박 통항 폭을 설정하여 해당 범위에서 통항하는 선박의 항적을 선박 길이별로 분류하여 분석하였다. 통항 분포 분석 결과, 통항 선박의 길이별 분포 모두 정규성을 가지며 해양시설물로부터 멀어지는 패턴을 가지고 통항을 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 통항 분포 분석 결과와 정규분포를 비교한 선박의 이격거리를 통계적으로 나타내기 위해 해양시설물 인근 통항 패턴 분석을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 통항 패턴은 선박 길이별로 상이하였으며 그에 따라 길이별 선박 권고 안전이격거리를 제시하고자 하였다. CESMA(유럽 선장 연합), PIANC(국제수상교통시설협회)의 안전이격거리 및 선박의 길이요인 중 IMO(국제 해사 기구)의 조종성능의 기준이 되는 선회경의 Tactical diameter를 활용되었으며, 다양한 선박 권고 안전이격거리의 안을 분석하기 위해 적정 이격거리를 전장의 5배에서 7배로 설정을 하여 설정 값 이하로 통항하는 차이 값이 근소하게 통항하는 선박을 조사하였다. 그 결과, 가장 차이 값이 근소한 5.5배의 전장을 적정 선박 권고 안전이격거리로 선정하였다. 위 결과를 바탕으로 선박 길이별 신뢰구간의 좌측 값에 따른 선박 권고 안전이격거리 및 전장의 5.5배의 이격거리를 활용한 선박 권고 안전이격거리를 비교하였으며. 선박 권고 안전이격거리에 대한 2가지 안을 제시하였다.
