  • Geotechnical Information System (GTIS) for efficient management of three dimensional borehole data has been developed. Geotechnical maps in the vicinity of Bulkwangdong, Seoul station, Itaewon, Han river near Yuido, and Jungrangchon were constructed by Kriging method. In Bulkwangdong and Jungrangchon area where boundary between granite and gneiss is present, gneiss has been more weathered than granite, but in Seoul station and Itaewon area where the boundary is also present, granite has been more weathered than gneiss. It has been inferred that when Seoul granite intruded, the strength of gneiss in Bulkwangdong and Jungrangchon area was lowered by the attitude of foliation plane than in Seoul station and Itaewon area, so the gneiss has been easily fractured and weathered in Bulkwangdong and Jungrangchon area. Geotechnical map in the vicinity of Yuido showed that there is an NW-SE trend weakness zone that might be affected by major faults under Han river and it is expected that the fault zone may be present in construction area of Kyoungbu Highspeed Railway that lies below the Han river like the Subway Line No.5.

원격 수신함수를 이용한 서울과 인천 관측소 하부의 지각 속도구조와 Moho 불연속면 특성 연구 (Crustal Structure Study and Characteristics of Moho Discontinuities beneath the Seoul and Inchon Stations using Teleseismic Receiver Functions)

  • The purpose of this study is to find P-wave crustal velocity structure and the Moho characteristics beneath Seoul (SEO) and Inchon (INCN) stations using broadband teleseismic records. The use of broadband receiver function analysis is increasing to estimate the fine-scale velocity structure of the lithosphere. The broadband receiver functions are developed from teleseismic events of P waveforms recorded at Seoul (SEO) and Inchon (INCN) stations, and are analyzed to examine the crustal structure beneath the stations. The teleseismic receiver functions are inverted in the time domain of the vertical P wave velocity structures beneath the stations. The crustal velocity structures beneath the stations are estimated using the receiver function inversion method (Ammon et al., 1990). The general features of inversion results are as follows: (1) For the Seoul station, the Conrad and Moho discontinuities exist at 22 km and 30 km depth in the south ($BAZ=180^{\circ}$) direction. (2) For the Inchon station, the Conrad discontinuity exists at 22 km depth in the direction of SE ($BAZ=145^{\circ}$) and the Moho discontinuity exists at 30~34 km depth with a 4 km thick, which consists of a laminated velocity transition layers with thickness, whereas a crust-mantle boundary beneath the Seoul station consists of a more sharp boundary compared with the Moho shape of INCN station.

  • As people are getting interested in themselves ever than before, the value of culture industry which can satisfy their emotions has been considered much more important. According to this, in terms of the 'space', it is better to represent 'space' not just as a functional space, but the human-centered and making human and nature together. In this society, the most human-centered design can be achieved by pursuing value which is friendlier to nature. And it is sure that the interior design that completes life quality as well as emotions of human will be common in near future. There already has been a try 'Green interior' in subway station in variety ways, and now it is needed to make indoor display in Seoul subway station different in order to satisfy human emotions. If culture space in Seoul subway station applied eco-element interacts with indoor environment, it is surely expected that people have better feeling on subway station as well as help eliminate negative elements which underground have had. In culture space, there are many advantages for displaying space into 'nature', that is, natural space represents the best comfortable and agreeable space, and future-oriented design when it gets interacted with environment. Application of 'Green interior' in Seoul subway station makes special place ness by its symbol and image, so that it derives people to have more natural and comfortable movement distance in subway station, offers more comfortable and cozy place as well. Furthermore, it makes people very moved by experiencing the most special culture space that they have ever had.

서울시 최적의 전기자동차 충전소 위치 선정 (Optimal Selection of Electric Vehicles' Charging Station Location in Seoul)

  • 전기자동차 사업은 수도권에 발생하는 미세먼지의 30%를 감소시킬 수 있는 중요한 사업이고, 인체 위해도가 높은 자동차 배출가스를 내연기관에서 친환경 전기자동차로 대체하여 대기오염 문제를 획기적으로 해결할 수 있다. 이러한 전기자동차 사업의 핵심인 충전인프라 구축과 관련하여 서울시 내의 전기자동차 충전소 최적의 위치를 선정하고자 한다. T-Map 네비게이션 사용자 데이터 (위도, 경도, 위치) 분포와 서울시 교통정책과의 교통량 통계를 이용하였고, 최적의 위치에 전기자동차 충전소를 배치하고, 효율을 높이는 것에 본 논문의 목적이 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘은 두 가지 충전소 위치 선정 방식을 포함한다. 첫 번째는 교통량 및 권역을 이용한 방식이고, 두 번째는 T-Map 데이터 분포를 이용한 방식이다. 실제 충전소 위치 선정 시 두 가지 방식을 모두 고려하여 선정하게 된다.

동인천 민자역사 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 (The study of Dong-Incheon private-invested station development)

  • Until now, Many papers were written by graduate school students and consultents about railway station as main consideration. But there is no paper about specific private-invested station development. So in this paper, Just consider limiting Dong-Incheon private-invested station on a noncompetitive point of view that also constructed as a part of railway station development. This paper will be referenced of private-invested station management and direction of development in Korail railway station development. Private-invested station development is actively drived to now after Seoul private-invested station in 1989 as Korail's first induced private capital. Dong-Incheon private-invested station also built in 1989 and operated to now, but it can't keep up with current market and can't meet changeable commercial business. So in this paper, comparing Dong-Incheon private-invested station with one of the successful private-invested stations which is youngdengpo private-invested station and seeking the improvement direction of Dong-Incheon private-invested station as considering Dong-Incheon private-invested station's floating, traffic system, walking line, the range of station, the development type, facilities, and other nation's developing cases.

도시 소유역 배수펌프장 운영개선 방안 연구 (2) - 침수범람모의에 의한 침수방지 방안 비교 연구 (Operational Improvement of Small Urban Storm Water Pumping Station (2) - Comparative Study to Reduce the Flooding Problems using Flood Simulation Model)

  • Flooding situation of Sutak basin was simulated and simulation seemed to be consistent with the real flooding situation in terms of high water levels and timings of flooding. The flood simulation model was used to evaluate alternatives to mitigate flooding problems in Sutak basin. From the evaluation of flood mitigation plans, it was found that combined operation of Sutak and Inchang pumping stations through partial diversion of inflow of Sutak pumping station to Inchang pumping station was the most effective one among the suggested mitigation plans. About 500 meter diversion channel will be needed to send 30% of Sutak pumping station inflow to Inchang pumping station. This will reduce overload of Sutak pumping station and the storage capacity of Inchang pumping station will be more efficiently utilized.

KTX 광명역 이용객의 연계교통에 관한 연구 - 셔틀전동열차를 중심으로 - (Study on Access Mode System related to the Passenger of KTX Gwangmyung Station : Focused on Electric Shuttle Train)

  • With the opening of a KTX on April 1st, 2004, Gwangmyung Station was opened. It is a station for KTX only. As it is not located at the center of a city, it doesn't have as good access mode system as Seoul, Deajun Station. In addition, because it is constructed within a limited development district, the development of catchment areas is not enough. At the beginning of the opening, demand falls short of their expectation so Importance of Access Mode System is issued. For the revitalization of Gwangmyung Station, Korea National Railroad focuses on the construction of Access Mode System such as the beginning of shuttle bus service between Kwan-ak and Gwangmyung station on June, 2005, opening of shuttle electric train between Yongsan and Gwangmyung station December, 2006, and the completion of parking tower in Gwangmyung station. After opening to Access Mode System, demand has been increasing. As market is changing, the railway line capacity between Seoul and Siheung reaches a limit, this research tries to review the way to setup sufficient Access Mode System.

  • The operation of express train on the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Network is centered on the Kyungbu and Kyungin lines and the short section between Dongducheon station and Ganyung station which is 20.7km long. It is true that the needs of many customers who want to reduce their commuting hours by express train is not satisfied. This paper proposes that the operation of express trains be enlarged to Sungbuk station on Kyungwon line which comes to 34.9 km long, and to Yangsu station from Youngsan station on Jungang line. The type of operation is mixed one with high and low speed trains, which operates express train by use of existing siding tracks without improving facilities such as extra building of sidings. This pragmatic study is to apply the goal of reducing running time as express train and to suggest the selection of appropriate stops, effectivenes analysis of express train operation and formation of train diagrams to actual operation.
