In order to know the effect of dexamethasone on the induction of the rabbit viral hepatitis, the pathological changes were observed in the native rabbits, 2 to 6 months old in age, that were injected by dexamethasone and liver emulsion of Angora rabbit naturally infected with viral hepatitis. The results were summarized as follows: The native rabbits injected by dexamethasone and liver emulsion were infected with viral hepatitis and died between 2 and 7 days after inoculation. Clinical signs and gross lesions were very similar to those of Angora rabbit naturally occurred, In microscopical findings, the hepatic lesions were characterized by peripheral necrosis of the lobules, and peripheral necrosis of the lobules with fatty changes of hepatic cells was occurred in a few cases. Perivascular lymphocytic infiltration in the central nervous system was observed in some cases, The lesions of the other organs were very similar to those of Angora rabbit naturally occurred. On the other hand, the native rabbits that were injected by only liver emulsion of Angora rabbit naturally infected with viral hepatitis were not infected with the disease except very few cases.

본 연구는 polymerase chain reaction(PCR)기법을 이용하여 SRY 및 ZFY의 성 결정 유전자의 특정 염기서열을 포함하는 primer를 이용하여 Y-염색체 특이적인 쇠고기 성판별 기술을 개발하기 위해 수행하였다. 성 결정 유전자의 영역에 특정 염기서열을 포함하는 primer를 설계 합성하고 이들 primer를 이용하여 PCR 증폭을 실시한 다음, 각각의 증폭산물을 1.5% agarose gel에 전기영동 하여 웅성 특이적 DNA band의 증폭여부를 확인하였다. SRY 유전자에서 웅성개체 쇠고기는 1,348 bp 크기의 단편을 가진 DNA band가 검출되었으나, 자성개체의 경우 DNA band가 전혀 검출되지 않은 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 또한, ZFY 유전자에서 웅성개체의 쇠고기는 979 bp 크기의 단편을 가진 DNA band가 모두 검출되었으나, 자성개체의 쇠고기에서는 역시 DNA band가 전혀 검출되지 않았다. 즉,SRY 및 ZFY 유전자는 모두 수소에서 유래한 쇠고기에서 웅성 특이적인 DNA band가 정확히 검출된 반면 암소에서 유래한 쇠고기에서는 웅성 특이적 DNA band가 전혀 검출되지 않았다. 따라서, 본 연구에서 개발한 SRY 또는 ZFY의 웅성 특이적 성 결정유전자를 이용하는 쇠고기 성 감별기술은 시중에서 유통 판매되고 있는 쇠고기의 암수 성감별을 위한 유용한 DNA marker(DNA 표지인자)로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

녹문 임성주는 18세기 조선후기 철학자이다. 녹문은 호락논쟁이 리(理)와 기(氣)를 분리해 보는 데서 발생했다고 판단하고, 자신의 관점에 따라 새로운 리기론과 심성론을 정립한다. 녹문 철학의 종지는 이기동실(理氣同實) 심성일치(心性一致)이고, 녹문은 담일한 기 본체를 바탕으로 자신의 종지를 논증한다. 그리하여 리기는 이원이 아니라 기일원으로 환원되고, 심성은 심으로 환원된다. 심의 존재근거는 기이기 때문에, 결국 녹문의 본체론은 기일원론(氣一原論)이 되는 것이다. 녹문은 정명도의 일원적 방법론을 원용하여, 자신의 거대한 일원론 철학을 제출한다. 본체의 보편성과 현상의 다양성을 '일원분수(一原分殊)'라는 논리구조로 설명한다. 녹문 철학의 특징은 일원과 분수가 모두 본연으로 동일하다는 데 있다. 즉, 체용일원 내지 본말일치를 의미한다. 심과 성도 본연으로 일치하고, 기와 심과 성도 본연으로 일치하고, 몸과 마음도 본연으로 일치한다는 내용이다. 성리학의 용어로 하면, 기질이 본연과 다르지 않다는 뜻이다. 그리하여 나는 녹문의 철학을 '성인(聖人)의 관점에서 건립한 철학' 이라고 정의 내린다.

Objectives: Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM) is a Traditional Korean Medicine based on the natural human emotions of joy(喜), anger(怒), sorrow(哀), and pleasure(樂). Therefore, in this paper I would like to construct SCM as a Mind-Body Medicine by studying the relation between SCM and psychotherapy focusing on control of emotions. Methods : I have researched the psychological characteristics of the four human physical constitutions, as described by SCM, and psychotherapy with an emphasis on the natural human emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure as discussed in the works of Lee Je-ma(李濟馬, 1837-1900). Results and Conclusions : The joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure in SCM do not simply refer to human emotions. They have an inherent nature(性), emotion(情) and Qi(氣). They are tied to the psychological characteristics of the four human physical constitutions and the relationship between body and mind. The turning point in the transformation from Sasang philosophy to Sasang therapy lies in these emotions. Sasang Constitutional Medicine, which focuses on 'mind matter' and diagnosing illness, emphasizes medicine and food(藥餌), along with health maintenance(調養). In particular, health maintenance requires the following mental practices. First of all, through countinuous awarness(恒戒) and self-reflection(自反), one needs to practice moderation(中) and restraint(節) of the emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure. Therefore, 'inward reflection while sitting(坐思)' is necessary. In SCM, this is very similar to meditation in that it enhances psychological self-control through mental training or practice.

각종 陰極, 卽 Ti, Zr, Ni, Pt, Cu, Ag, Au, Zn, Hg, Pb 및 흑연의 사용으로 2-butyne-1, 4-diol (BID)로부터 2-butene-1,4-diol (BED)까지의 電氣化學的 還元擧動에 관하여 연구하였다. IB族 金屬을 陰極으로 사용한 陰極分極曲線은 알칼리용액중에서 BID에 對해 한개의 還元波가 생기나 BED의 경우는 지지전해질내에서와 마찬가지로 還元波가 생기지 않았다. 고로 BID환원반응에 가장 적당한 陰極은 Cu, Ag, Au임을 알았다. 알칼리性 BID용액에서 銀電極을 사용한 電位走査法에서 peak電流는 電位走査速度의 제곱근과 BID농도에 比例하였다. 限界電流의 對數와 絶對溫度의 逆數의 관계로부터 구한 BID의 活性化에너지는 3.75kcal/mole였다. 고로 알칼리용액중 銀電極을 사용한 BID의 還元電流는 自己擴散에 의한 擴散電流임을 알았다.

The study has been carried out to investigate of the Allergic Rhinitis by referring to 87 literatures. The results were as follows; 1. In oriental medical science, Allergic Rhinitis is belong to the category of the 'BiGu'(鼻구) 'GuChe'(구체). The 'Gu'(구) of the BiGu means watery rhinorrhea, the 'Che'(체) of the GuChe means sneezing. 2. The cause of a disease summarize the weak of Lung, Spleen and Kidney, and invasion into the nasal cavity of PoongHan etc a wrong air. Sometimes the pathologial change appear PoongHan changeHwa(風寒化火), HwaYeol is hidden in the inside(火熱內伏). The contributing factors are found a season(spring, winter), an abnormal weather(運氣 : 少陰 少陽 陽明 司天, 歲金不及), an emotional stress, an external wound of the harmful air, a food allergens and fatigue, a contact of substances, a sunlight etc. 3. Predominant symptoms are watery rhinorrhea, sneezing and nasal obstruction. Sometimes accompanic symptoms are nasal bleeding, mucopurulent rhinorrhea, olfactory disturbance, nasal polyp, rhinolalia clausa, respiratory disfunction etc. 4. The treatment-methodes is as follows, OnBoPaeJang GeoPoongSanHan(溫補肺臟 祛風散寒), GeonBilkGi(健脾益氣), BoSinNabGi (補腎納氣). The treatmentherbs is as follows, OnBoJiLuDan GaGam(溫補止流丹 加減), OkByeongPoongSan plus ChangIJaSan GaGam(玉屛風散合 蒼耳子散 加減), BoJungIkGiTang GaGam plus SoCheongLyongTang(補中益氣湯加減 配合 小靑龍湯), SinGiHwan GaGam(腎氣丸加減), GaeJiTang(桂枝湯) etc. 5. The external treatment is as follows, JeokBi(滴鼻), ChuiBi(吹鼻), SaekBi(塞鼻), stick and herbs-injection on the acupuncture-point, pressure ear acupuncture-point, herbs-pillow etc. 6. The acupuncture-moxa treatment is as follows, the methodes of cure apply TongJoGyeongGi(通調經氣), SanTongBiGui(宣通鼻竅) etc. Predominent acupuncture-points are YoungHyang(迎香), InDang(印堂), BiTong(鼻通), SangSeong(上星), HabGok(合谷) and so on. As mentioned above, from now on, it's need to the oriental medical scientific study of the Immunity and Allergy and to the external treatment's application for the ascent of the treatment-effect of the allergic disease.

1. Objectives The purpose of this study is to find the kinds & meaninings of Qi in Lee Je-Ma's writings. 2. Methods We analyzed Lee Je-Ma's writings which contain the related contents of Qi's kinds & meanings 3. Results and Conclusions 1) There are distinctive Qi features of $sorrow{\cdot}anger{\cdot}joy{\cdot}pleasure$(哀怒僖樂) which are different from one of seven mode emotions(七情) in ${\ulcorner}$Gyukchigo(格致藁)${\lrcorner}$. 2) When $Water{\cdot}grain's$ Qi(臟氣) is the base of the human's Qi, $Nature{\cdot}emotion's$ Qi(性${\cdot}$情氣) is managing. And $Lung{\cdot}Spleen{\cdot}Liver{\cdot}Kidneys's$ Qi(肺脾肝腎氣) is the representative concept resulted by the complex operation of $Water{\cdot}grain's$ Qi(水穀之氣) and $Nature{\cdot}emotion's$ Qi. Each Qi stands for its protensity as follows ; Lung's Qi for extrorse propensity of Yang(Z), Spleen's Qi for upward propensity of Yang(陽), Liver's Qi for introrse propensity of Eum(陰), Kidneys's Qi for downward propensity of Eum(陰). 3) Jang's Qi is more important than medicine's Qi and medicine's Qi has a limitation about recovering jang's Qi. So that it is very important to take care of one's mind. 4) Controling mind Qi is controling Nature & emotion's Qi. Thus controling mind Qi si the best plan for jang's Qi and controling with medicine's Qi is the next policy. 5) Qi influences all aspect of personality, disease, application of medicines and ordinary symptoms. So that Qi is the kernel of the Sasang Constitutional Medicine.

Objective To study the effectiveness of Yuldahansotang against Allergic Contact Dermatitis, the change of cutaneous shape, histochemistry, immunohistochemistry and distribution of apoptotic cells was researched. materials and methods 4-month-old rats were divided into three groups of 10. One is a contrastive group which has applied Acetone olive oil only. Another is ACD group which has intentionally activated Allergic Contact Dermatitis by DNCB. And the other is YST group which has given medication of Yangkyuksanhawtang extract. Each group of mice were observed after 24, 48 and 72 hours. results 1. With the result of Contact hypersensitivity assay, YST group shows appreciably less ear swelling than ACD group. 2. Comparing YST and ACD groups to each other regarding general change of skin, YST group shows less hyperplasia of epidermis, less migration of inflammatory cells and less damage of epidermis than ACD group. 3. Regarding the change of collagen fiber, ACD group has appeared to be low in number of collagen fiber while YST shows similarity with the contrastive group. 4. In dermis YST group has showed lower number of mastocyte than ACD group and is granulated type. 5. In dermis YST group has showed less MAC-1,IL-1, $IL-2R-{\alpha}$, ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 than ACD group. 6. The distribution of apoptotic cells has appeared littler in YST group than in ACD 7. Among signal molecule of apoptosis Bcl-2 has distributed more in YST group than ACD group and Bax and Fas has distributed less in YST group than ACD group.

본고는 석탄 이신의의 "대학차록(大學箚錄)"을 통해, "대학"을 바라보는 그의 독창적 안목을 고찰하는 작업이다. 이신의(李?儀, 1551-1627)는 조선 중기의 학자이자 정치가로, 본관은 전의(全義)이고 자는 경칙(景則)이며 호는 석탄(石灘), 시호는 문정(文貞)이다. 그의 "대학차록"은 "대학장구"를 읽고 체득한 내용을 수시로 적은 기록으로 석탄이 정치지도자로서 기초를 다지는 학문의 초기 과정에서 저술되었다. 석탄은 "대학장구"의 체제인 장(章)과 구(句)의 의미를 명확하게 구분하여 분석적 학문방법론의 새 지평을 열었다. "대학장구""서"에서는 대학의 핵심이 경(敬)에 있음을 강조하였고, "대학"이 심(心)과 성(性)을 함께 다루고 있다는 사실도 밝혔다. "대학(장구)대전"의 경문(經文) 독해에서는 삼강령(三綱領)의 핵심을 명(明)과 신(新)과 지(止)에 달려 있다고 보고, 대학의 '도(道)', '명(明)'과 '덕(德)'의 맥락을 구체적으로 해석하였다. 또한 명명덕(明明德)과 신민(新民)을 비롯한 "대학"의 여러 개념과 의미를 지(知)와 행(行), 체(體)와 용(用)의 관계로 읽어내며, 성리학을 한층 발전시켰다. "대학장구" 전문(傳文) 독해의 경우, 전 10장 전체에 걸쳐 50여구 하나하나를 분석적으로 검토하였다. 주자의 격물(格物) 이론이 담겨 있는 전5장의 경우, 세 부분으로 나누어 해독하면서, 이치의 궁구와 개별 사물에 대한 격물치지(格物致知), 모든 사물에 대한 물격지지(物格知至)로 나누어 '이치-공부-효험'의 순서로 정돈하였다. 마지막으로 정치사상의 핵심을 보여준 전10장에서는 혈구(?矩)의 길을 집중적으로 강조하며, 그것이 목민관의 제일 덕목임을 일러주고 있다.

This paper is aimed at finding out the clue to the medical solution to the pathological phenomena of the dehumanizing and demoralizing state of our society by centering around the Chiljeong that originates from Oriental Medicine, Sung Confucianism and Sa-sang Medicine(四象醫學). In these fields,the Chiljeong is based on the theory of Eum-yang and Viscera(陰陽.臟腑論) in Oriental Medicine, on the problems of good and evil in Sung Cunfucianism and on the theory of Sa-sang Visceral Localization(四象.臟局의 理論) in Sa-sang Medicine. The principles of geneation of Chiljeong : In case of Oriental Medicine, Sin(神) controls Chiljeong and of it is stored in five Viscera, it becomes Sin in the Heart, Hon(魂) in the Liver, Sa(思) in the Spleen, Bed-Woo(悲.憂) in the Lung, and Kyeong-Kong(驚.恐) in the Kidney. Then five Viscera react with outer stimuli or Sin, it gives off Chiljeong as Joy(from the Heart), Anger(from the Liver). Thought (from the Spleen), Anxiety and Sorrow(from the Lung) and Surprise and Fear(from the Kidney) In Sung Confucianism, Sim(心) comtrols Seong-jeong(性.情), and at the moment of that Sim gives off Jeong(情), it becomes good when the Li(理) gibes off itself and then Chi(氣) follows Li, or Chi gives off itself and is regulated optimally, out it becomes evil when Li cannot preside over Chi and then shaded by cloudy Chi. The pathology: If the Chiljeong exceeds one's capacity, the corresponding Vicsera will be damaged, and the Passions(喜.怒.哀.樂) that may harm to four types of constitution severly are the Joy and Pleasure(in Tae-eum-in 太陰人 and So-eum-in 少陰人) and Grief and Anger(in Tae-yang-in 太陽人 and So-yang-in 少陽人), so one should be alert on some passions by regrding his constitutional frailty. More over, because of the variations in Sa-sang Visceral Localyzatin there is various ability in human affairs, but as the clumsiness in human affairs may make him hurt by it, so one should be prevented from these passions and human affairs, that is flowing Joy and Participations(黨與) in Tae-yang-in, flowing Pleasure and Dwelings(居處) in So-yang-in, explosive Anger and Companies(交遇) in So-eum-in, explosive Grief and Affairs(事務) in Tae-eum-in. How to clutivate the human nature: The ulitmate purpose in Oriental Medicine is preserving Cheon-Jin(天眞), that is following the Tao(道) by making him be in harmony with the Chi(氣) of the Seasons and by living a simple life. In Sung Confucianism, the way preventing the lustful desire and preserving Cheon-li(天理) is to observate derectly the calm, original place of human nature with reverence, when Sim has nat given off itself yet, and when Sim has already given off, it also is to meditating on one's passion and thought that the principle of good should be researched on or the evil should be cut off according to it's being good or evil. Such like as these various aspects of research on the Chiljeong it will be helpful in understanding human nature by producing the various materials on it, moreover, by doing so, we can lead out appropriate solution on the confusions of judgement value and demoralization.
