The vascular flora of Dalmasan and its adjacent regions, located in Haenam-gun, Jellanam-do, is surveyed from Mar. to Oct. 2005. The number of the vascular plant taxa based on voucher specimens is 545 total which belongs to 112 families, 322 genera, 473 species, 3 subspecies, 60 varieties and 9 forms respectively. Among them, 12 taxa of Korean endemics and 4 taxa of rare and endangered plants were investigated in addition to 86 taxa of specially designated plants announced by the Ministry of Environment. A unrecorded taxon, Stellaria neglecta Weihe, is also collected in this area. Furthermore, The habitat of 5 taxa such as Asplenium trichomanes L., Asplenium wilfordii Mett. ex Kuhn, Miscanthus sinensis var. chejuensis Y.N.Lee, Impatiens kojeensisi Y.N.Lee and Digitaria violascens var. intersita Ohwi were newly added to the flora of korea, and 29 taxa of induced and naturalized plants were observed in this area.
Community analysis based on functional feeding groups of aquatic insects in Wonju stream was assessed with the composition of aquatic insects collected for four times at the area from May to November, 2004. The total 92 species of aquatic insects in 62 genera, 37 families, and 8 orders were collected during the period of the investigation. The distribution of the numbers and movements of aquatic insects proved the Woniu stream to be healthy except for St. 7 and St. 9. In the main streams, the occupancy ratio of shredders and scrapers of the functional feeding groups(FFGs) gradually decreased from St. 1 to St. 9 while collectors-gathering and collectors-filtering remarkably increased. In St. 2, the shredders and scrapers posted a higher ratio compared to those in tributaries, and it had the quality of mountain streams. With the results of analysis on the similarity matrix(UPGMA) between each sites of Wonju stream, St. 1, 2, St. 3-8 and St. 9 were classified as the upper stream, the middle stream, and the lower stream area, respectively.
The results of this research on the diversity, zonation of vegetation and micro-topography by TWINSPAN classification and DECORANA ordination, executed with Sinduri coastal dunes of Korea, are as follows: The vegetation and micro-topography of coastal dunes formed a noticeably clear zonation structure. The beach in the direction of the coastline saw a lot of appearance of Salsola komarovi and the primary dune was dominated by Elymus mollis. Imperata cylindrica var. koenigii and Carex pumila formed a colony at flat area of the sand hills and Calamagrostis epigeios was widely distributed at the wet slack. The secondary dune was dominated mostly by Ischaemum anthephoroides and Imperata cylindrica var. koenigii, and it showed an aspect of the distribution of Vitex rotundifolia and Rosa rugosa. while the hinterland hillside in the direction of inland was dominated by Robinia pseudo-acacia and Pinus thunbergii. However, Carex kobomugi, known as the pioneer species of the coastline-bound areas at the coastal dune, dominantly occupied the secondary dune of the rear side and continentally-inclined Miscanthus sinensi and Oenothera biennis of naturalized plant were irregularly spread over the whole of the coastal dune, so the stabilization of micro-topography seemed to be uncertain. Particularly, Miscanthus sinensis was predicted to be changed into dominant species of the primary dune, and secondary dune and slack having a commonly high species gathering inclination with the more progress of stabilization of the coastal dune. The expansion of sand hill wetlands and roads located between the primary dune and secondary dune was judged to have an effect on the zonation structure of plant distribution.
This text was analyzed and investigated the aerial part plants and buried seed plants at coniferous forest and broadleaved forest in Yesan-gun, in order to offer the basic data of potential natural vegetation change on secondary forest. Plants of buried seed germination were consisted of 29 taxa in coniferous forest (28 species, 1 varieties, of 27 genus, 20 families) and 36 taxa in broadleaved forest (34 species, 2 varieties, of 32 genus, 18 families). Family classification of buried seed plant was the most in Compositae, and emergent plot frequency was the highest of Cyperus amuricus in coniferous forest and Crepidiastrum sonchifolium in broadleaved forest. The soil depth of the most plants appearance was 0~10 cm in coniferous forest and 0~5 cm in broadleaved forest, and the soil depth of the most population appearance was 0~2 cm in coniferous forest and broadleaved forest. Population of buried seed germination was decreased according as soil is deep. Crepidiastrum sonchifolium was a plant that population of buried seed germination is the most. Similarity index of the aerial part plants and buried seed plants was low as 0.22, and coniferous forest and broadleaved forest was 0.40.
This study was conducted in order to provide as a basic materials of sea cliff vegetation structure through distribution related with the landform and growth pattern of mixed growth plants by ordination method in the Peucedanum japonicum community of Korea. The mixed growth plants of frequency over 10% growth with Peucedanum japonicum community of sea cliff was investigated as a total 26 species, and the frequency of appearing plants was the highest in the Aster spathulifolius(55.7%). Growing pattern of mixed growth plants was a difference by the landform factors as such the inland side, coastline side, flat and slope. Growing pattern was classified into typicality type, one-sided type and complex type. Growing pattern of the typicality type was good distribution in total landform factors, the one-sided type was good distribution in 1 landform factor and the complex type was good distribution in 2 landform factors. In growing pattern of mixed growth plants with Peucedanum japonicum, Artemisia capillaris and Sedum oryzifolium was typicality type, Elymus dahuricus and Artemisia princeps was one-sided type, and Aster spathulifolius, Miscanthus sinensis, Calystegia soldanella and Lysimachia mauritiana was complex type. In total plants of mixed growth, growing pattern of 16 species of 61.5% was good as complex type.
We accessed the climate change effects on the distributions of warm-evergreen broad-leaved trees (shorten to warm-evergreens below) in the Korean Peninsula (KP). For this, we first selected nine warm-evergreens with the northern distribution limits at mid-coastal areas of KP and climate variables, coldest month mean temperature and coldest quarter precipitation, known to be important for warm-evergreens growth and survival. Next, species distribution models (SDMs) were constructed with generalized additive model (GAM) algorithm for each warm-evergreen. SDMs projected the potential geographical distributions of warm evergreens under current and future climate conditions in associations with land uses. The nine species were categorized into three groups (mid-coastal, southwest-coastal, and southeast-inland) based on their current spatial patterns. The effects of climate change and land uses on the distributions depend on the current spatial patterns. As considering land uses, the potential current habitats of all warm-evergreens decrease over 60%, showing the highest reduction rate for the Kyungsang-inland group. SDMs forecasted the expansion of potential habitats for all warm-evergreens under climate changes projected for 2050 and 2070. However, the expansion patterns were different among three groups. The spatial patterns of projected coldest quarter precipitation in 2050 and 2070 could account for such differences.

This research focused on the internet addiction and family communication in adolescents. The subjects were the 394 middle school students living in Gwangju. Data were analyzed with Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Std, Cronbach's $\alpha$, T-test, one way ANOVA, Duncan's Test, Pearson's Correlation, and Multiple Regression using SPSS/PC WIN 14.0 program. The major findings were as follows: 1. Schoolboys internet addiction were higher than schoolgirls. Open communication was higher than median but problem communication was slightly lower than median. 2. The adolescents' internet addiction showed significant difference according to sex, parent's absence frequency, the level of living, parent's attitude about internet, the motive, the purpose, and the times required for internet. 3. Family communications showed significant difference according to internet addiction level. 4. Open communication was influenced by the level of living, parent's attitude about internet, the times required for internet and the level of internet-addiction and was explained about 19% by these variables. Problem communication was influenced by the level of internet addiction and the level of living and was explained about 14% by these variables.

The purpose of this study was to explore ways to help reduce adolescents' academic stress by exploring the influences of parental learning involvement and family strengths on academic stress. The research participants were 445 middle school students living in Gwangju. Data were collected from self-reported questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS 23.0 program. The major findings were as follows: First, the parental learning involvement(provision of learning option, democratic rules, encouragement of academic progress) and academic stress showed significant differences according to gender. There was a significant difference in academic stress depending on school year, but there was no significant difference in parental learning involvement. The family strengths did not show significant difference according to gender or school year. The parental learning involvement(provision of learning option, democratic rules, pursuit of adequate performance, academic information, total), family strengths, and academic stress showed significant differences according to economic status. Second, the adolescents' academic stress was influenced by parental learning involvement(encouragement of academic progress, democratic rules, pursuit of adequate performance) and family strengths. Approximately 30 percent of the adolescents' academic stress was explained by these variables.
The effect of green tea drinking on the hepatocellular chemical cacinogenesis have been studied. Placental glutathione S-transferase(GST-P) positive foci area in a liver tissue, contents of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances(TBARS), total cytochrome P450 and glucose 6-phospphatase(G6P) activity in hepatic microsomes were investigated. Weaning Sprague-Dawley male rats were fed AIN-76A diet with deionized water or green tea infusion, Rats of CTR and CTR+ groups were provided deionized water while GTI and GTI+ groups were provided green tea instead of deionized water for the entire experimental period of 13weeks. Rats of GTP and GTP + groups had deionized water for the first 6 weeks and switched to green tea for the last 7weeks of the experimental period. CTR+, GTI +, and GTP + groups were carcinogen treated groups, Diethylnitrosamine(DEN) was injected as a single dose of 200mg/kg body weight intraperitoneally after 4 weeks of feeding. 2-Acetyla-minofluorene(AAF) was used as a carcinogen proliferater and suppled in the diets of carcinogen treated rats as 0.02% content for the last 6weeks starting from 2weeks after DEN injection. Rats were sacrificed after 13week weeks of feeding. The area and number of GST-P positive foci detected in carcinogen treated rats were decreased by green tea ingestion but when timing and duration of green tea ingestion was delayed after promotion period as in GTP + group, GST-P positive foci were not decreased as much as in GTI+ group. TBARS contents of carcinogen treated rats decreased by 13weeks of green tea ingestion but GTP groups did not show statiscally significant differences. G6P activities tended to decrease by carcinogen treatment but changes were not statiscally significant by green tea ingestion. Total cytochrome P450 contents were increased by carcinogen treatment. Thirteen weeks of green tea ingestion (GTI) also increased to total cytochrome P450 contents while 7weeks of green tea ingestion(GTP) did show any effects. These results suggest that green tea has suppressive effects on hepatocellular chemical carcinogenesis probably through the activities of antioxidant compounds. To study the effect of a washing machine with silver nano technology on its detergency, the discoloring of the dyed clothes and the staining of standards adjacent fabrics were examined. As the laundry specimen, cotton fabric dyed with reactive dyes and Polyester fabric dyed with disperse dyes were chosen; and as the adjacent fabrics, undyed cotton. polyester and nylon fabrics were chosen. The colorfastness was evaluated after washing under conditions that those washing temperature, liquor ratio, detergency concentration and the type of water were varied. When the clothes were washed with the tap water contains silver ion, the deposition of silver compounds into the washed clothes was measured. As a results, after the washing in the various conditions, discoloring of the dyed clothes was not intense. The higher the washing temperature and the lower the liquor ratio, the larger the staining appeared on the white fabrics; especially for the white nylon fabrics. The concentration of detergent and the type of water affected hardly the colorfastness. After the repeated washing with the water contains silver, whiteness of the cotton and the nylon fabrics were lower than the result after the washing with the tap water, and a quantity of silver ions was found on the washed clothes.
