L-모멘트법에 의한 적정 설계홍수량의 유도 (Derivation of Optimal Design Flood by L-Moments)

  • This study was conducted to derive optimal design floods by Generalized Extreme-value(GEV) distribution for the annual maximum series at ten watersheds along Han, Nagdong, Geum, Yeongsan and Seomjin river systems. Adequacy for the analysis of flood data used in this study was established by the tests of Independence, Homogeneity, detection of Outliers. L-coefficient of variation, L-skewness and L-kurtosis were calculated by L-moment ratio respectively. Parameters were estimated by the Methods of Moments and L-Moments. Design floods obtained by Methods of Moments and L-Moments using different methods for plotting positions in GEV distribution were compared by the relative mean and relative absolute error. It was found that design floods derived by the method of L-moments using weibull plotting position formula in GEV distribution are much closer to those of the observed data in comparison with those obtained by method of moments using different formulas for plotting positions in view of relative mean and relative absolute error.

  • This study was carried out to derive optimal design floods by Weibull-3 distribution with the annual maximum series at seven watersheds along Man, Nagdong, Geum, Yeongsan and Seomjin river systems. Adequacy for the analysis of flood data used in this study was acknowledged by the tests of Independence, Homogeneity, detection of Outliers. Parameters were estimated by the Methods of Moments and L-Moments. Design floods obtained by Methods of Moments and L-Moments using different methods for plotting positions in Weibull-3 distribution were compared by the rotative mean error and relative absolute error. It has shown that design floods derived by the method of L-moments using Weibull plotting position formula in Weibull-3 distribution are much closer to those of the observed data in comparison with those obtained by method of moments using different formulas for plotting positions in view of relative mean and relative absolute error.

  • This study was carried out to derive optimal design low flows bythe Weibull-3 and Wakeby distributions for the partial consecutive duration series at seven watersheds along Han. nagdong, Geum Yeongsan and Seomjin river systems. L-coefficient of variation L-skewness and L-kurtosis were calculated by the L-moment ratio respectively. Parameters were estimated by the method of L-Moments with consecutive duration. Design low flows obtained by method of L-Moments using with consecutive duration, Design low flows obtained by method of L-Moments using different methods for plotting positions formulas in the Weibull-3 and Wakeby distributions were compared by the Root Mean Square Errors(RMSE). It has shown that design low flows derived by the method of L-moments using Weivull plotting position formula in Wakeby distribution were much closer to those of the observed data in comparison with those obtained by the methods of L-moments with the different formulas for plotting positions in Weibull-3 distribution from the viewpoint of Root Mean Square Errors.

Design drought flows obtained by Methods of L-Moments using Weibull plotting positions formula in the Weibull-3 and Wakeby distributions were compared by the Relative Mean Errors(RME), Relative Absolute Errors (RAE) and Root Mean Square Errors(RMSE). It has shown that design drought flows by the Wakeby distribution using method of L-moments are much closer to those of the observed data in comparison with those obtained by the Weibull-3 distribution using method of L-moments.

섬진강 flushing 방류로 인한 하구부 염수침입 영향분석 (Analysis Saltwater Intrusion by Flushing Discharge in Seomjin River Estuary)

  • 섬진강 하구는 남해안 중부에 위치해 있으며, 하구둑이 건조되어 있지 않아 하구역 일대와 광양만이 하나의 넓은 기수역을 형성하고 있다. 또한 섬진강 하구는 상류에 섬진강댐, 주암댐 등이 건설되고 취수량이 증가하면서 하구로 유입되는 수량이 감소해 기수역이 상류로 확대된 것으로 보고되고 있다. 2008년 주암댐에서는 갈수기 때마다 대두되는 수질악화 및 염수침입을 방지하고자 3/10~3/24일에 걸쳐 1차, 4/23~5/7에 걸쳐 2차로 나누어 flushing 방류를 실시하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실측된 염분 자료를 토대로 3차원 수리 및 수질해석이 가능한 EFDC 모형을 활용하여 flushing 방류를 실시한 경우와 하지 않았을 경우에 대하여 모의를 수행함으로써 flushing 방류 유무에 따른 하구의 염수침입 및 염해피해 방지 효과에 대해 분석하였다.

광양만의 해수유동에 관하여 (The Circulation in Kwang Yang Bay)

  • A series of physical oceanographic investigations of the circulation in the Kwang Bay' were carried out seven times from May 1974 to May 1975 every other month. The average water transports through the southern entrance of the' Kwang Yang Bay were approximately $1,014{\times}I0^6m^3$/half-tide in ebb current and $278{\times}10^6m^3$$405.6{\times}I0^6m^34/half-tide in ebb current, and $282{\times}10^6m^3 $/half-tide in flood current, at the maximum current intensity. The water from Seomjin River flows into the bay at an annual average rate of $84{\times}I0^6m^3$/half-tide, the rate being fluctuated from month to month from $6.0\times}10^6m^3 $to $11. 5{\times}I0^6m^3 $per half-tide.

섬진강유역 하천유지유량 변화 (Change of maintenance flow discharge in Seomjin river basin)

  • 섬진강 유역에서 하천유지유량에 영향을 미치는 주요댐은 다목적댐 2개소, 발전용댐 1개소, 생공용수전용댐 1개소, 농업용댐 2개소로 총 6개소가 있고, 섬진강남해수계의 수어댐은 섬진강 하구 일부구간을 제외하면 하천유지유량 변화에는 영향을 미치지 않는다. 섬진강 유역에서 2005년까지 고시된 하천유지유량은 1979년 섬진강 송정지점 염해방지 필요수량 5.5cms만 있었고, 1990년 공고에서는 섬진강 2개 지점에 대한 평균 및 기준 갈수량을 제시하고 별도의 하천유지유량을 고시하지는 않았다. 익산지방국토관리청(1999)에서 하천유지유량이 하천법 제20조의 법적근거를 가지고 영산강 섬진강 수계 전반에 걸쳐 총 23개 지점에서 산정하였다. 동일한 하천유지유량이 2006년에 고시되어 2016년 현재까지 법적 효력을 가지고 있다. 국토해양부(2011)에서 하천수질과 생태계를 고려한 하천유지유량을 다시 산정하였는데, 이는 1979년과 2006년 고시유량보다 더 큰 값이다.

Prevalence of Clonorchis sinensis Infection among Residents along 5 Major Rivers in the Republic of Korea

  • Clonorchis sinensis is currently the most important parasite affecting public health problems in the Republic of Korea. We investigated the prevalence of C. sinensis infection among residents living along 5 major rivers in Korea. A total of 42,562 individual stool samples were collected from 37 localities and examined using the formalin-ether sedimentation technique. Helminth eggs were detected in 4,052 (9.5%) residents and 3,586 (8.4%) were infected with C. sinensis. The egg positive rate of C. sinensis in Nakdong, Seomjin, Geum, Yeongsan, and Han River was 11.7%, 9.9%, 6.5%, 3.1%, and 1.0%, respectively. The overall prevalence of clonorchiasis by sex was 11.2% in males and 6.2% in females. The age-prevalence was the highest in the 50-59 years band. It has been reconfirmed that the endemicity of clonorchiasis is higher in southern areas of Korea, especially along Nakdong and Seomjin Rivers. A combination of continuous control programs with health education initiatives is urgently required in these highly endemic areas of clonorchiasis in Korea.

서식어장별 수온.염분이 섬진강 강굴, Crassostrea ariakensis의 성장에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Temperature, Salinity on the Growth of Crassostrea ariakensis in Seomjin River)

  • 강굴의 자원조성을 위한 생물학적 기초자료를 얻고자 서식어장별 수온과 염분이 강굴의 성장에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 서식어장별 수온 범위는 $3.5\sim26.2^{\circ}C$의 범위로 각 정점간 유의한 차이는 없었다. 염분의 경우 $2.6\sim29.5\;psu$의 범위로서 배알도에서 가장 높은 염분농도를 나타내었으며, 상류지역인 돈탁에서 가장 낮은 염분농도를 나타내었다. 비만도의 경우 다른 지역에 비해 상류지역인 돈탁에서 가장 높았다. 비만도는 모든 정점에서 8월에 가장 낮았다. 그 결과 강굴의 산란기는 $6\sim7$월인 것으로 추정되었다. 각 정점별 각고의 크기를 살펴보면 $149.7{\pm}19.8\;mm$ (배알도), $148.6{\pm}21.3\;mm$ (섬진대교) 그리고 $143.1{\pm}17.6$(돈탁)로 나타났다. 각고에 따른 각장(SL), 각폭(SW), 전중(TW) 그리고 육중(MW)의 상관계수 범위 $(r^2)$$0.024\sim0.0471$로 나타났다.
