  • Real-time processing of sensor data network, is one of the important factors. Each node in the detected data are required to be transmitted within a certain time since the accurate processing is possible. Thus, the data nodes are successfully delivered within a specified time, it is very important to check whether the. Recently more and more accurate real-time embedded systems are reliable and haejyeoseo been able to provide sophisticated services. Because of the inherent complexity of embedded systems in the physical world and the difficulty of predicting the difficulty of a safe design constraints on the runtime violation of system as to cause unexpected causes. Each node data in time detected by the time required to be passed in the appropriate processing is possible because the data transfer time in this paper, the monitoring of the sensor network through a node are allowed to exist within the time range and transmits data to the server Analysis of the data transfer time for checking whether the system was implemented. Implementation of the data transmission time to the process for analyzing and presenting, according to the procedure suggested by the transit time required for analysis a time difference analysis method, a data collection method and a data transmission time and transmission time calculating method presented.

  • In this paper, we developed a Satellite Image Processing System for obtaining 3-D positional information which is composed of five process modules. As a procedure of them, the Data Process module is the procedure that reads and processes the header file to generate data files. and then calculates orbital parameters and sensor attitudes for obtaining of 3-D positional information with them. The 3D Process module is to calculate 3-D positional information and the Dialog Process module is to correct the time of image frame center using the single image or stereo images for implementing the 3D Process module. We expect to obtain 3-D positional information with the header file and minimum GCPs(1∼2 points) using this system efficiently and economically in comparison with existing commercial software packages.

  • This paper proposes the design and implementation results for human and object classification systems utilizing frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar sensor. Such a system requires the process of radar sensor signal processing for multi-target detection and the process of deep learning for the classification of human and object. Since deep learning requires such a great amount of computation and data processing, the lightweight process is utmost essential. Therefore, binary neural network (BNN) structure was adopted, operating convolution neural network (CNN) computation in a binary condition. In addition, for the real-time operation, a hardware accelerator was implemented and verified via FPGA platform. Based on performance evaluation and verified results, it is confirmed that the accuracy for multi-target classification of 90.5%, reduced memory usage by 96.87% compared to CNN and the run time of 5ms are achieved.

  • In this paper, an effort has been made to design and develop a meteorological data logger for meteorological purpose. This data logger is proposed to be included various sensor interface that used in weather sensors. Besides, numbers of meteorological process libraries are added into this data logger to make it able to perform as unattended weather monitoring system. Data output of this data logger are also design to support multiple protocol that commonly used in data logger, and several communication devices that commonly used in the market. Each data that logged will be logged together with date and time and able to retrieve via serial port using hyper terminal. It is also configurable via serial port.

  • Internet of Things (IoT) data is collected in real time and is treated as highly reliable data because of its high precision. However, IoT data is not always highly reliable data. Because, data be often incomplete values for reasons such as sensor aging and failure, poor operating environment, and communication problems. So, we propose the methodology for solve this problem. Our methodology implements multiple LSTM networks to individually process the data collected from the sensors and a single LSTM network that batches the input data into an array. And, we propose an efficient method for constructing LSTM in IoT environment.

  • In this study, we investigated the feasibility of using printed Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) film as a remote sensor for Hazardous and Noxious Substances (HNS). To improve the quality of the ITO films, binder mixing ratio, Sn concentration in ITO, thermal treatment temperature, and printing process conditions were optimized. We fabricated an electrical resistance-type liquid sensor, and to confirm the sensor operation, the change in resistance in air and seawater was monitored. The change in resistance of the ITO sensor was explained in terms of reduction reaction on the surface. Further, the sensor was controlled by Arduino, and the remote data acquisition was demonstrated.

  • In the most IPS (Indoor Positioning System), it is available to specify the user's movement by sending a specific signal from a tag such as a beacon to multiple receivers. This method is very efficiently used in places where the number of people is limited. On the other hand, in large commercial facilities, it is nearly difficult to apply the existing IPS method because it is necessary to attach a tag to each customer. In this paper, we propose a system that uses an external sensor grid to identify people's movement without using tags. Each sensor node uses both an ultrasonic sensor and an infrared sensor to monitor people's movements and sends collected data to the main server through wireless transmission for easy system maintenance. The operation was verified using the FPGA board, and we designed a VLSI circuit in 180nm process.

Flight trajectory generation through post-processing of launch vehicle tracking data (발사체 추적자료 후처리를 통한 비행궤적 생성)

  • For monitoring the flight trajectory and the status of a launch vehicle, the mission control system in NARO space center process data acquired from the ground tracking system, which consists of two tracking radars, four telemetry stations, and one electro-optical tracking system. Each tracking unit exhibits its own tracking error mainly due to multi-path, clutter and radio refraction, and by utilizing only one among transmitted informations, it is not possible to determine the actual vehicle trajectory. This paper presents a way of generating flight trajectory via post-processing the data received from the ground tracking system. The post-processing algorithm is divided into two parts: compensation for atmosphere radio refraction and multi-sensor fusion, for which a decentralized Kalman filter was adopted and implemented based on constant acceleration model. Applications of the present scheme to real data resulted in the flight trajectory where the tracking errors were minimized than done by any one sensor.

  • In the IoT(IoT: Internet of Things) environment, network configuration is essential to collect data generated from objects. Various communication methods are used to process data of objects, and wireless communication methods such as Bluetooth and WiFi are mainly used. In order to collect data of objects, a communication module must be installed to collect data generated from sensors or edge devices in real time. And in order to deliver data to the database, a software architecture must be configured. Data generated from objects can be stored and managed in a database in real time, and data necessary for industrial safety can be extracted and utilized for industrial safety service applications. In this paper, a network environment was constructed using a LoRa(LoRa: Long Range) gateway to collect object data, and a client/server data collection model was designed to collect object data transmitted from the LoRa module. In order to secure the resources necessary for data collection and storage management without data leakage, data collection should be possible in real time. As an application service, location data required for industrial safety can be stored and managed in a database in real time.

Process Development for Optimizing Sensor Placement Using 3D Information by LiDAR (LiDAR자료의 3차원 정보를 이용한 최적 Sensor 위치 선정방법론 개발)

  • In previous studies, the digital measurement systems and analysis algorithms were developed by using the related techniques, such as the aerial photograph detection and high resolution satellite image process. However, these studies were limited in 2-dimensional geo-processing. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the 3-dimensional spatial information and coordinate system for higher accuracy in recognizing and locating of geo-features. The objective of this study was to develop a stochastic algorithm for the optimal sensor placement using the 3-dimensional spatial analysis method. The 3-dimensional information of the LiDAR was applied in the sensor field algorithm based on 2- and/or 3-dimensional gridded points. This study was conducted with three case studies using the optimal sensor placement algorithms; the first case was based on 2-dimensional space without obstacles(2D-non obstacles), the second case was based on 2-dimensional space with obstacles(2D-obstacles), and lastly, the third case was based on 3-dimensional space with obstacles(3D-obstacles). Finally, this study suggested the methodology for the optimal sensor placement - especially, for ground-settled sensors - using the LiDAR data, and it showed the possibility of algorithm application in the information collection using sensors.
