초음파 센싱 방식의 spirometer에 대한 sensitivity 향상 (Sensitivity Elevation about Spirometer Using Ultrasound Sensing Method)

  • 초음파 센서를 이용한 호흡측정방식은 관성 및 압력의 오차의 영향을 거의 받지 않고, 반영구적으로 사용이 가능한 호흡기기이다. 초음파의 특성을 이용한 것으로 송수신시 초음파의 매질인 공기의 흐름에 의한 반송형식인 초음파의 전달속도 차이를 이용하여 호흡량 및 흐름을 detecting하는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 환자를 중심으로 측정이 이루어져야 하기 때문에 센서의 송수신시 일어나는 신호의 sensitivity를 향상시켜서 약한 호흡에도 dectection이 가능하도록 하였다.

파이프 프루버의 측정불확도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement Uncertainty of Pipe Prover)

  • A pipe prover is a flowmeter calibrator used in flow measurement field. Gravimetric and volumetric methods were applied to determine the basic volume of the pipe prover. Uncertainty of its basic volume measurement was evaluated in accordance with the procedure recommended by International Organization for Standardization. The combined standard uncertainty of determining the basic volume was estimated from the sensitivity coefficient and the standard uncertainty of independent variables. It was found that the uncertainties of the weighing and volume measurements have dominant influence on that of the basic volume determination. With the quantitative analysis of the sensitivity coefficient, the contribution of the each variable uncertainty to the combined standard uncertainty of the basic volume is shown clearly.

육류 신선도 판별을 위한 휴대용 전자코 시스템 설계 및 성능 평가 (Design and performance evaluation of portable electronic nose systems for freshness evaluation of meats)

  • The aim of this study was to develop a portable electronic nose system for freshness measurement of meats, which could be an alterative of subjective measurements of human nose and time-consuming measurements of conventional gas chromatograph methods. The portable electronic system was o optimized by comparing the measurement sensitivity and hardware efficiency, such as power consumption and dimension reduction throughout two stages of the prototypes. The electronic nose systems were constructed using an array of four different metal oxide semiconductor sensors. Two different configurations of sensor array with dimension were designed and compared the performance respectively. The final prototype of the system showed much improved performance on saving power consumption and dimension reduction without decrease of measurement sensitivity of pork freshness. The results show the potential of constructing a portable electronic system for the measurement of meat quality with high sensitivity and energy efficiency.

  • Purpose Serum Thyroglobulin measurement is a major tool for the follow-up of differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) patients. Thyroglobulin is Normal thyroid tissue, or thyroid cancer tissue produced only. Thyroid hormone to a halt without Tg differentiation of thyroid cancer recurrence just by measuring how to decide whether there was increasing expectations if I can do it instead. Therefore, in excellent sensitivity Tg new inspection of the functional sensitivity by measuring the looked to evaluate the usefulness of reagents. Thyroidectomy is measuring the numbers Tg (total thyroidectomy) remaining thyroid ablation and radioactive iodine (radioactive iodine remnant ablation, RRA) DTC in patients being diagnosed with or help predict the remaining early detection of thyroid cancer recurrence. Be rather high to 142 percent recovery rate was 60 to measurement and functional sensitivity, 0.01766 ng/mL(Intraassay n=10) was measured at. CBC is relatively good correlation as ($R^2=0.949$) the correlation. Conclusion Recently ultrasensitive thyroglobulin this clinically important indicators of the previous kit and demands are lower than sensitivity to the measurement results. Therefore, ultrasensitive thyroglobulin test is correlated that there would be useful in value in nuclear medicine the thyroid gland.

  • Notion sickness is well known to be caused by long time exposure to the very low frequency motion in the multiple axes of human body Since the vestibular system for the perception of low frequency motion is located in the head, accurate measurement of 6 degree of freedom head motion is of great importance. In this study, the measurement system consisting of a safety helmet and 9 translational accelerometers was constructed for the estimation of 3 translational and 3 rotational motions of human head. Since estimation errors of 3 rotational components can be significantly magnified even by small offset of the sensitivity axis from the geometric center of an accelerometer, accurate measurement of sensitivity axis must be preceded. The method for accurate estimation of the offset was proposed, and the effect of offset on the estimation of angular acceleration was investigated.

레스토랑 수익 관리를 위한 적정 식사 시간 측정에 관한 연구 (Measuring Expected Meal Duration for Restaurant Revenue Management)

  • Restaurants have two strategic levers for revenue management: duration control and demand-based pricing. Reducing dining times, especially during peak periods, can add considerable revenue for restaurants. Managing meal duration, however, can be far more complex than manipulating the price. This paper examines dining duration expectations for restaurants types(Family, Korean, Quick service restaurant), customers characteristics(gender, age, occupation, meal period, visiting frequency, dining occasion, dining companions) using an a adaptation of a price sensitivity measurement tool, naming it 'Time Sensitivity measurement tool' or TSM. The TSM is then used to derive the optimal time points, and the range of acceptable times. The results demonstrate that there is a relatively wide spread of acceptable dining duration times in family restaurant. Furthermore, the optimal time points was shorter than the mean expected dining times, which suggests that many restaurants may be able to shorten dining duration without compromising customer satisfaction. The paper explores whether demographic and dining variables have an impact on time preferences, and finds whether gender, age, meal periods, visiting frequency, and dining companion effects are significant. Specifically, women in their thirties tended to prefer a significantly longer dining times for dinner.

시각장애 아동과 정상 아동의 선자세 균형 비교 (The Comparison Between Blind and Normal Children in Standing Position)

  • In this paper, the proprioceptive sensitivity was compared by Foot-Hand task method and the effect of the proprioceptive sensitivity and auditory to the standing position between blind and normal children was measured using BPM for 56 children in 7, 8, 9 and 10 years old. There are three measurement methods are used for BPM : Rest, Forward Looking, 'Sound' position. The following conclusions were obtained from the above measurements. 1. In comparison of proprioceptive sensitivity between blind and normal children, there is no significant difference(p > .05). There is no significant difference in comparison of each age group and also there is no difference in each gender group(p > .05). 2. In comparison of standing position measurement between blind and normal children, there is any difference (p > .05) in three measurement(Rest, Forward Looking, 'Sound' position) but there is no significant difference in each gender difference(p > .05). There is any difference between Rest and 'Sound' position of blind children, also there is any difference between Forward Looking and ' Sound ' position, rest and 'Sound' position of normal children(p > .05). 3. There is no significant difference of correlation between proprioceptive sensitivity test and standing position measurement in Pearson correlation coefficient(p > .05).

환경감수성 측정을 위한 검사 도구 개발과 이를 이용한 환경감수성 측정 - 중등학교 환경반을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Development and Measurement of Environmental Sensitivity among Middle School Environmental Class)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the environmental sensitivity(ES) measurement instrument and to apply for middle school students. The questionnaire was developed to evaluate ES. The developed questionnaire consists of 15 items in 5 categories. Each item of the instrument was developed through the conceptional analysis of the definition of ES. The 5 categories included natural environment, activity at natural environment, artificial environment, environmental pollution, environmental destruction. Data for this study were collected from 397 middle school students including 46 environmental class and 351 non-environmental class students. It was found that the developed instrument to measure ES was valid and reliable. Reliability coefficient, Cronbach $\alpha$ was 0.75. Using the developed instrument of ES, the ES was measured for the students of experimental group to which a inqury-based EE model was applied. The result was that the effect of ES of the students of the experimental group was not statistically significant. Futher research is needed related to the EE model based on the inquiry learning model and measurement of environmental sensitivity.

고감도 그림자 무아레 기법을 이용한 모바일 전자부품의 변형 측정 (Deformation Measurement of Electronic Components in Mobile Device Using High Sensitivity Shadow Moiré Technique)

  • 모바일 기기 내부에 있는 전자부품들은 반도체 칩이나 그 밖의 여러 가지 재료로 구성되어 있다. 이러한 전자부품들은 매우 얇고, 구성된 재료들은 다양한 열팽창 계수를 가지고 있으므로 온도 변화나 외부 하중에 의해서 쉽게 굽힘이 일어난다. 그림자 무아레 방법은 비접촉으로 전체 영역에 걸친 면외변위를 측정하는 광학적 방법이지만 측정 감도를 $50{\mu}m/fringe$ 이내로 하기 어려워서 반도체 패키지의 굽힘변형을 측정하기에는 적당하지 않은 면이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 그림자 무아레 기법의 여러 실험조건들을 최적화하여 $25{\mu}m/fringe$의 향상된 감도를 갖는 측정 방법을 구현하였다. 또한 이로부터 위상이동에 의해 기록되는 4장의 그림자 무늬를 영상 처리하여 감도가 4배 향상된 그림자 무늬를 얻어내고 이를 스마트폰의 소형 전자부품들에 적용하여 온도변화에 따라 발생하는 굽힘 변위를 $5{\mu}m/fringe$의 고감도로 측정하였다.

기체 유량 측정에서 몬테 카를로 모사를 이용한 측정불확도 평가 (Uncertainty Assessment Using Monte Carlo Simulation in Gas Flow Measurement)

  • Monte Carlo simulation(MC) method was used as an uncertainty assessment tool for gas flow measurement in this paper. Uncertainty sources for gas flow measurement were analyzed, and probability distribution characteristics of each source were discussed. Detailed MC methodology was described including the effect of the number of simulation. The uncertainty result was compared with that of the conventional sensitivity coefficient method, and it was revealed that the results were different from each other for this particular gas flow measurement case of which the modelling equation was nonlinear. The MC was comparatively simple, convenient and accurate as an uncertainty assessment method, especially in cases of complex, nonlinear measurement modelling equations. It was noted that the uncertainty assessment method should be selected carefully according to the mathematical characteristics of the measurement.
