A research on the emotion GUI design of touch mobile for Grooming user by using a multidimensional standard analysis (다차원 척도 분석법을 통한 Grooming 사용자의 터치폰 감성 GUI 디자인에 대한 연구)

  • This study is to establish GUI (graphic user interface) in mobile touch phone for grooming user by using two dimensional emotion model determined by multi-dimensional scale method. The processes conducted in the research were as the followings: First of all, visceral, behavioral, and reflective factors of emotion (Norman, 2002) was defined from investigating the life styles of the Grooming users. Secondly, factor analysis was performed to extract the representative emotional words. In the third step, they were mapped into the two-dimensional emotion model through multi-dimensional scaling. Finally, the mapped emotional words were tried to be related to GUI factors of touch phones and normalizing their relation degree between 0 and 1. This study determined GUI factors significantly related to representative emotions described as special, self-centered, sophisticated, free, passionate, neat for application to mobile touch phone. This study determined the major emotion factors that should be considered the most important while designing the GUI factors.

  • The automotive seat comfort evaluation was to begin a key aspect in seat design. It depended largely on the basic mechanical aspect such as geometric parameters of seat, choice of suspension system and cushion material used. Until recently, seat comfort evaluation advanced to evaluate subjective sensitivity of human. The external literatures showed in the last decade, there have been very few attempts to establish and document automotive seat comfort evaluation. In 2006 Smith, D. proposed the statistically reliable tool in giving a numeric rating for set comfort and the tool was used in the many country. On the other hands, we, in Korea, had not the reliable tool for the automotive seat comfort evaluation. So that, we studied to develope the questionnaire for seat comfort evaluation based on Smith, D.(2006) and some studies. As a result, we developed 36 contents for the automotive seat comfort evaluation with the help of professional in Korean automotive industry. Here, 36 contents were identified as the dimensions that represent the human sensitivity and psychological feeling on comfortable seat. Also, we derived the priorities for the 36 contents by using analytic hierarchy process (AHP), based on the judgments of 30 experts and drivers. This study will help the designers and developers clarify the conceptual and abstract aspect of the design evaluation by proposing a more systematic and process-oriented method.

A Study on the Characteristics of Consumer Visual-Perceptional Information Acquisition in Commercial Facilities in Regard to its Construction of Space from Real-Time Eye Gaze Tracking (상업시설 공간구성의 실시간 시선추적에 나타난 소비자 시지각 정보획득 특성 연구)

  • For satisfying consumer needs, commercial facilities require a variety of sale-related space expressions and eye-catching product arrangements; space composition can also be a direct marketing strategy. The human eye is the sensory organ that acquires the largest amount of information, and an analysis of visual information helps in understanding visual relations between . However, the existing studies are mostly focused on analysis of still frames in experimental images, and there is a lack of studies analyzing gaze information based on mobile images of commercial spaces. Therefore, this study analyzed emotional responses through gaze information of space users in reality using a video of a movement route through a commercial facility. The analysis targeted straight sections of the moving route; based on the data acquired, sectional characteristics of five gaze intensity ranges were examined. As a result, section A, the starting point of the route, had a low gaze intensity, while section B had the highest gaze intensity. This indicates that, starting in section B, the subjects explored the space in a stable way and needed time to adapt to the experimental video. In relation to space characteristics of the gaze-concentrated area, display formats of the right stores in 4 of 6 sections received greater attention. The gaze of consumers was mostly focused on props, and big gaze information was revealed in showcase display formats of the stores. In conclusion, this analysis method can provide highly useful direct design data about merchandise display and merchandise component arrangement based on consumer visual preference.

Effects of Shopping Orientation, Marketing Stimulus and Perceived Risk on E-impulse Buying of Shoes Markets (구두시장에서의 e-충동구매에 대한 쇼핑성향, 마케팅 자극과 위험지각의 영향)

  • Consumers tend to perceive the shoes as just their footwear to protect and comfort foot and fashion products to decorate and express their self-images. Even though online market research analysis indicated shoes consumption is important in daily life of consumers, there is limited research that was conducted specifically on shoes e-market. The research investigates the process of shoes' e-impulse buying focusing on the effects of shopping orientation, marketing stimulus and consumers' perceived risk in shoes market at Internet. A total of 408 self-administered questionnaires were obtained from universities students, who had experienced the e-impulse buying of shoes at least once for the last six months. Results confirmed that consumers who had higher hedonic shopping orientation or brand shopping orientation were more likely to consider the marketing stimuli (e.g., promotion stimuli and product stimuli), whereas consumers who had higher economic shopping orientation were consider the lower marketing stimuli and the more perceived functional risk in the e-shopping context of shoes. For shoes, marketing stimulus had directly positive effects on e-impulse buying, while consumers' perceived risk had no significant effects on e-impulse buying. The findings suggest that the market stimulus, which is affected by consumers' shopping orientation, is an important factor in triggering e-impulse buying of shoes.

Far-Infrared Emission Characteristics of Germanium Included Fabrics for Emotional Garment (게르마늄 함유 감성의류용 직물의 원적외선 방출 특성)

  • This paper surveys emission characteristics of Far-infrared of the fabrics fabricated with germanium imbedded sheath-core conjugate composite filaments. For this purpose, master batch chip was prepared with PET semi-dull chip and nano sized germanium particles and sheath-core type conjugate composite filament was spun using this master batch chip and polyester semi dull. The emission power and emissivity of the germanium imbedded fabrics were measured and investigated using FT-IR spectrophotometer by KICM- FIR 1005 measurement method. In addition, the fabric mechanical properties were measured and discussed with the effects of the optimum texturing process conditions and fabric structural design conditions. The sheath/core type PET composite germanium imbedded filaments were manufactured by the optimum spinning condition, its tenacity and breaking strain showed the same level as the regular PET filament. The tenacity and breaking strain of the DTY showed good physical properties and no problem in the weaving process. Then, wet and dry shrinkages showed higher values than those of regular PET filament. The emission power of the germanium imbedded fabric was $3.53{\times}10^2W/m^2$ at the $5-20{\mu}m$ wave length range, and emissivity was 0.874. The fabric hand of germanium imbedded fabrics was inhanced by the optimum texturing process and fabric structural design with improved mechanical properties such as fabric bending and compressional properties.

The Influence of Chromacity of LED Lighting on Time Perception (LED 조명 색도에 따른 시간 인지에 대한 연구)

  • LED technology offers versatile lighting control while having a very low environmental impact. Consequently, increasing attention is being paid to the emotional impact of LED lighting. This study investigated whether the chromacity of LED lighting influences people's time perception. To this end, two empirical studies were conducted: First, in experiment I(N=28), the subjects compared their perception of the time duration, which was varied from 3s to 20s, for 6 chromatically nuanced lighting conditions, respectively, with that under a daylight condition. The results showed that, in warm-color nuanced lighting conditions, the subjects perceived time to pass more slowly than in the daylight condition. On the contrary, in cool-color nuanced lighting conditions, the subjects perceived time to pass more rapidly than in the daylight condition. Then, in experiment II(N=39), the subjects were asked to count for 90 seconds while simultaneously performing some cognitive tasks. Confirming the results found in experiment I, the subjects perceived time to pass more rapidly in cool-color nuanced lighting conditions than in warm-color nuanced lighting conditions, although the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05). In addition, the subjects tended to perceive the time to be shorter when the nuanced color of the light was closer to their preferred color.

Effects of Cognitive Reappraisal and Expressive Suppression on Negative Emotion in Female College Students (성인 여성에게서 나타나는 부정적 정서 자극에 대한 인지 재평가와 억제 기제의 사용 및 효과)

  • This study aimed to compare the effects of two emotion regulation strategies, namely, cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression in female college students. Specifically, the effects of these two emotion regulation strategies were tested and the intrapersonal factors related to the effects of these strategies were explored. The participants included 60 female college students. In Study 1, 40 participants were randomly assigned to each of the two different strategy groups, i.e., a between-subject design was employed. In Study 2, 20 participants were asked to use both strategies to regulate their emotion, i.e., a within-subject design was employed. The results revealed that both emotion regulation strategies effectively reduced negative emotion of emotional stimuli. However, the use of emotion regulation assessed with a questionnaire was not matched to the actual usage of regulation strategies examined with a task. Finally, the use of a suppression strategy was related to the extroversion psychological adaptive variable. Our findings suggest that the subjective assessment of the use of an emotion regulation strategy may not be the same as the actual use of an emotion regulation strategy. Furthermore, we demonstrated that when participants have an option to use both strategies, the cognitive reappraisal is more functional than expression suppression. This concurs with the previous findings on the effects of emotion regulation strategies.

Differences of central and autonomic responses between olfactory stimuli with Lavenar and Jasmin in human (Lavendar와 Jasmin으로 유발된 후각 강성에 대한 중추 및 자율신경계 반응)

  • 향에 의해 유발되는 감성에 대한 중추신경계 및 자율신경계의 반응의 변화를 측정하기 위해 안정시키는 향과 각성시키는 향을 사용하여 주관적 평가와 동시에 시행하였다. 안정시키는 향으로 1% Lavendar 향을 사용하였고, 각성시키는 향으로 0.8% Jasmin 향을 사용하였으며, 안정상태를 향자극 전후에 측정하여 대조군으로 사용하였다. 중추신경계의 지표로 뇌파측정을 하였고 뇌파의 전극은 international 10-20 system에서 4 채널을 사용하였으며, 자율신경계의 지표로는 심전도, heart rate, 피부저항, 피부온도를 기록하였다. 뇌파의 분석은 Fast Fourier Transform analysis의 power spectra로 하였고, 그 frequency bands는 theta(4-8Hz), alpha(8-l3Hz), beta(14-30Hz)로 하였다 또한 심전도를 이용하여 심전도 상의 연속적인 R-R peak간 시간간격을 시계열 데이터로 재구성한 Heart rate variability 분석도 하였다. HRV 분석을 보다 정확히 할 수 있도록 호흡이 심전도에 미치는 영향을 제거하기 위하여 호흡을 분당 20회로 일정하게 하였다 생체신호 측정과 동시에 실시한 주관적 검사에서 lavendar 향은 친숙하게, jasmin 향은 활기차고 상쾌하고 유쾌하게 평가되었다. 뇌파 분석에서 lavendar 향을 주었을 때 theta의 증가 양상을 보였으며, Jasmin 향을 주었을 때는 모든 채널에서 beta 파의 증가 양상을 보였다. 또한 HRV 분석 결과 부교삼신경의 활동성이 부각되는 HF/LF의 값이 lavendar에서는 대조 자극보다 높게 나타났으며, jasmin에서는 대조자극보다 낮은 값이 나타나는 경향을 보였다. 결론적으로 안정과 각성의 후각 자극으로 인한 감성의 변화를 뇌파와 자율신경계 등의 생체지표로 관찰할 수 있었다.정하는 감성요인의 차이를 알 수 있었으며 또한 essential oil에서는 성별 차이가 없는데 반해 페르몬 향의 경우 성별의 차이를 나타내었다.. 방법을 타액과 혈청내 testosterone 농도 측정에 응용하여 RIA의 결과와 비교하여 본 바 상관관계가 타액에서 r=0.969, 혈청에서 r=0.990으로 두 결과가 잘 일치하였다. 본 실험에서 측정된 한국인 여성의 타액내 testosterone농도는 107.7$\pm$12.0 pmol/l이었고, 남성의 타액내 농도는 274.2$\pm$22.1 pmol/l이었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 본 연구에서 정립된 EIA 방법은 RIA를 대신하여 소규모의 실험실에서도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사려된다.또한 상실기 이후 배아에서 합성되며, 발생시기에 따라 그 영향이 다르고 팽창과 부화에 관여하는 것으로 사료된다. 더욱이, 조선의 ${\ulcorner}$구성교육${\lrcorner}$이 조선총독부의 관리하에서 실행되었다는 것을, 당시의 사범학교를 중심으로 한 교육조직을 기술한 문헌에 의해 규명시켰다.nd of letter design which represents -natural objects and was popular at the time of Yukjo Dynasty, and there are some documents of that period left both in Japan and Korea.   • 본 논문은 얼굴 인식 또는 표정 인식 분야에 있어서 중요한 특징을 나타내는 얼굴과 얼굴의 주요소인 눈과 입, 눈썹의 영역 추출 및 그의 윤곽선·추출에 관한 방법을 제시한다. 얼굴요소의 영역 추출은 엣지 정보와 이진화 영상을 병합하여 이용한 프로젝션 분석을 통하여 얼굴 및 각 얼굴요소를 포함하는 최소포함사각형(MER: Minimum Enclosing Rectangle)을 추출하였다. 얼굴 영상에 관련된 윤곽선 연구에는 가변 템플릿(Deformable Template), 스네이크(Snakes: Active Contour Model)를 이용하는 연구들이 이루어지고 있는데 가변 템플릿 방법은 수행시간이 느리고 추출된 윤곽선의 모양이 획일 된 모양을 갖는 특성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 사람마다 얼굴요소의 모양의 개인차가 반영되고 빠른 수렴을 할 수 있는 스네이크 모델을 정의하여 눈, 입, 눈썹, 얼굴의 윤곽선 추출 실험을 하였다. 또한 스네이크는 초기 윤곽선의 설정이 윤곽선의 추출 곁과에 큰 영향을 미치므로, 초기 윤곽선의 설정 과정이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 얼굴 및 각 얼굴요소를 포함하는 각각의 최소 포함 사각형(MER)을 추출하고, 이 추출된 MER 내에서 얼굴 및 각 얼굴요소의 일반적인 모양을 초기 윤곽선으로 설정하는 방법을 사용하였다. 실험결과 눈, 입, 얼굴의 MER의 추출은 모두 성공하였고, 눈썹이 흐린 사람들의 경우에만 눈썹의 MER추출이 졸지 않았다. 추출된 MER을 기반으로 하여 스네이크 모델을 적용한 결과, 눈, 입, 눈썹, 얼굴의 다양한 모양을 반영한 윤곽선 추출 결과를 보였다. 특히 눈의 경우는 1차 유도 엣지 연산자에 의한 엣지 와 2차 유도 연산자를 이용한 영점 교차점(Zero Crossing)과 병합한 에너지 함수를 설정하여 보다 더 나은 윤곽선 추출 결과를 보였다. 얼굴의 윤곽선의 경우도 엣지 값과 명도 값을 병합한 에너지 함수에 의해 비교적 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.잘 동작하였다.되는 데이타를 입력한후 마우스로 원하는 작업의 메뉴를 선택하면 된다. 방법을 타액과 혈청내 testosterone 농도 측정에 응용하여 RIA의 결과와 비교하여 본 바 상관관계가 타액에서 r=0.969, 혈청에서 r=0.990으로 두 결과가 잘 일치하였다. 본 실험에서 측정된 한국인 여성의 타액내 testosterone농도는 107.7$\pm$12.0 pmol/l이었고, 남성의 타액내 농도는 274.2$\pm$22.1 pmol/l이었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 본 연구에서 정립된 EIA 방법은 RIA를 대신하여 소규모의 실험실에서도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사려된다.또한 상실기 이후 배아에서 합성되며, 발생시기에 따라 그 영향이 다르고 팽창과 부화에 관여하는 것으로 사료된다. 더욱이, 조선의 ${\ulcorner}$구성교육${\lrcorner}$이 조선총독부의 관리하에서 실행되었다는 것을, 당시의 사범학교를 중심으로 한 교육조직을 기술한 문헌에 의해 규명시켰다.nd of letter design which represents -natural objects and was popular at the time of Yukjo Dynasty, and there are some documents of that period left both in Japan and Korea. PPL of Visual Media Affects Clothing Purchase of College Students (영상매체의 PPL이 의복 구매에 미치는 영향에 대하여)

  • PPL(Product Placement) of visual media can change the purchasing behavior of College students. This study aimed to investigate the differences in consumer's conception about PPL among college students and to analyze the relationship between the PPL conception ant fashion innovation/fashion sensitivity of students, resulting into their real purchasing behavior. We surveyed to about 189 college students living near Seoul, with questionnaire about PPL conception, purchase of PPL clothing, satisfaction on PPL clothing, fashion innovation, opinion about PPL, PPL apparel brand to recall, etc. According to dichotomy of college students by fashion innovation, as higher fashion innovative they were, they paid more attention on PPL clothing while watching TV or movie, and they also could recall more PPL apparel brands, and they purchased more PPL clothing. While the students with low fashion innovation had references from the opinion of friends or around people when purchasing their clothing, the students with high fashion innovation did from fashion magazine or PPL clothing. The students who thought that PPL was important and effective on clothing purchasing behavior, answered that their preference to PPL bran4, to the company, and to the product had increased positively, but not to the actor/actress.
