본 연구에서는 칼라모니터의 바탕화면의 색과 휘도를 보정하고, 물체색고 모니터색의 기준 백색을 일치시킴으로써 매체가 다른 두 색이 같아 보이도록 하는 색재현 방법을 제시하였다. Mabcbeth colorChecker 24색에 대해 재현색의 색도좌표 측정값과 계산값이 잘 일치하는 결과를 얻음으로써 본 방법은 간편하면서도 전 영역의 색에 적용가능함을 보였다.

본 연구는 의복배색에 의해 표현되는 다양한 감성을 파악하기 위해 여성복을 대상으로 배색(2색배색)에 따른 시각적 감성의 구성요인, 시각적 감성의 차이, 시각적 감성 포지셔닝, 선호도ㆍ구매욕구ㆍ고급감ㆍ쾌감과 시각적 감성과의 관계를 알아보았다. 자료수집은 서울ㆍ부산 지역의 20대 여성 803명을 대상으로 조사하였으며 수집된 자료분석은 SAS를 이용하여 통계처리하였다. 그 결과 배색연출, 배색방법, 지역에 따른 시각적 감성의 차이가 현저히 나타났으며 이러한 결과는 의복 색채기획 및 감성을 바탕으로한 마케팅 전략에 응용할 수 있을 것이다.

Color planning system can be treated as a decision support system which includes both the recommendation of main color and harmonious colors. In this paper, we propose techniques that are useful to enhance the harmonious color recommendation with the main color selected by user. In order to reflect the knowledge about suggestion of harmonious colors, we use Ostwald color harmony theory, that is very systematical and easy to implement. Actually, Ostwald color space is similar to HMMD color model in MPEG-7. Due to the similarity between two color spaces, Ostwald color space can be represented as a virtual HMMD color space. Accordingly, we propose a technique to align the HMMD color space with Ostwald color space, thereby it is capable of enhancing a performance to search the harmonious colors according to Ostwald harmony theory. For recommendation of delicate and more exquisite harmonious colors in equal hue plane, we made the virtual color space continuous. The system can recommend various harmonious colors according to Ostwald color harmony. He(she) can select harmonious colors among the suggestions from the system.

This study aims to characterize the sensibility image and interaction effect of striped necktie according to same-tone coordination and 1:2:3 area-ratio variation on the gender. The experimental materials developed for this study are a set of stimuli and response scales. The stimuli consist of 56 color pictures manipulated with every combination of 4 different colors, 2 different tones and 7 different area-ratio. The 7-point scale designed for visual evaluation of sensibility image included 26 bipolar adjectives. The subjects were 1344 undergraduate students in Gyeongnam, Seoul, Busan, and Daegu areas. The results of this study were as follows. The analyses of sensibility images in terms of same-tone coordination and 1:2:3 area-ratio variation of stripe necktie reveal that the concerned factors are of five characteristic dimensions of attractiveness, youth-activity, appeal, ability, and warmness. In the 5 factors of sensibility image, color combination and tone showed independent effect. In addition, significant interaction effects of area-ratio and tone on appeal and ability were found. Interaction effects of gender and area-ratio on youth-activity were found. Interaction effects of gender and tone on warmness were found. Interaction effects of color combination and tone on appeal and warmness were found. The study results are highly expected to be used as useful sources in developing men's coordination.

To become a person that is suitable to the 'High-Touch' generation where emotion takes over, we can focus on 6 skill including design, story, harmony, empathy, play, and meaning. Among these skills, harmony with design was chosen as the most important skill. Design can be seen as the basic element of all business, but it will be difficult to match the flow of the future Sensibility and intuitive generation with just the modern design that has been made based on reasonable and objective information and knowledge. This study suggests system and standardization of Sensibility surface processing design that satisfies great quality, attractive quality and Sensibility quality by applying surface processing design of product and Sensibility cognitive factors felt by the consumer by setting differentiated strategy and CMF (Color, Material, Finishing) understanding along with the importance of design materials in primary aspect. By considering the efficacy/characteristic of new surface processing characteristic/differentiation/possibility of implementation according to setting direction of differentiated CMF strategy per type of parts applied to the product, visual surface processing sample was implemented. Through this, it is expected that practical communication connected tool and Sensibility surface processing design's strategic access framework can be applied by understanding and sharing comprehensive elements such as target product, part type, applied material, applied surface processing, surface color, surface texture, and implementing feeling to environments such as designers, CMF designers, surface processing experts, and engineers in IT, electronics, and other areas. when developing a product.

In the car design process, Interior color scheme is one of the important factors that determined consumer's emotional evaluation with a car styling. The systematic research on the car interior color planning may be not achieved in spite of its importance because it is difficult to simulate color scheme before deciding final prototype. The various alternative of color scheme can be simulated and evaluated in early stage of car design process based on upgraded performance of computer hardware and advance41 co-work system. This study proposed a color coordinate support system for car interior color design to support designer based on emotional scale of color image. Color coordinate support system have four kinds of module, that is, the information acquisition module for gathering user's emotional data, the evaluation module for analyzing relation of color impressions and color attributes, the simulation module for supporting color coordinate design, and the evaluation support module for testing final color alternatives.

본 연구는 가시광선영역에서 각각의 색을 구현하여 색채치료에 이용하기 위한 시스템을 개발하는데 있다. 사용된 광원은 에너지 밀도가 전파장에 걸쳐서 일정한 Dichroic reflector hallogen lamp를 사용하였고, 광원에서 발생하는 적외선을 차단하기 위하여 IR filter를 사용하였다. 색채치료에 사용 가능한 순수한 파장의 색을 분리하기 위하여 long pass filter와 short pass filter로 구성되는 color filter set를 사용하여 구성하였다. 개발된 가시광선 제시 시스템은 빨강, 파랑, 노란 광을 낼 수 있도록 되어 있으며 각각의 광도는 2390 lx, 1020 lx, 17400 lx이다. 개발된 시스템의 객관적 효과를 검증하기 위하여 피부 서식균으로 항균 실험을 하나 결과 노란 광이 빨강이나 파란 광에 비해 세포성장 억제가 컸다. 대식세포와 피부암세포로 실시한 항염 실험은 각각의 색광에 대한 영향이 크지 않았다.

특정 환경이 제시하는 이미지는 색으로 나타내어진다. 그러면, 특징 사회적 환경에 대해 사람들은 특정한 색채 반응을 만들어내는가\ulcorner 특정 사회적 상황에 대해 사람들이 어떤 색채이미지를 만들어 내며, 이런 색채이미지가 사회적 상황을 일관적으로 나타낼 수 있는지를 파악하고자 하였다. 각 사회적 상황에 맞는 색채 코디네이션과 이미지를 찾고자 할 때, 대표적인 경우가 화장이다. 여성의 화장에서 나타나는 색채 이미지는 사용자의 취향과 같은 성격특성에 따라 달라지지만, 이것은 또한 사회적 상황에 따라 다르게 표현되기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 사회적 상황을 캐주얼, 비즈니스, 지적분위기, 이브닝(섹스어필)의 4가지 조건을 제시하고 이것에 따른 색채 감성이미지가 어떻게 나타나는지를 살펴보았다. 연구결과는 각각의 상황은 일관적인 색채 이미지를 가지고 있을 뿐 아니라, 사람들에게 공통적으로 적용될 수 있는 색채이미지로 표현된다는 것을 밝힐 수 있었다. 특정 환경에 관한 개대는 특징적인 색채 이미지로 반영되며, 이런 결과들은 환경색채의 디자인과 구체적인 상황과 맞는 제품의 색조 디자인 등에 직접 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Color reproduction n CRT monitors needs colorimetric characterization concluding two stages with 3x3 matrix and three TRCs (Tone-Reproduction Characteristics). The 3x3 matrix is based on the additivity of RGB emissions, and the TRC represents the non-linearity between the input digital counts and the output luminance. The objective of this project is to evaluate the accuracy of color reproduction on LCD monitors using conventional CRT model(GOG model). For two different manufacturers, colorimetric characterizations of desktop LCDs have been performed. Because the transfer function for LCD is very differ from TRC of CRT, some researchers had reported that GOG model is inadequate for the colorimetric characterization of LCDs. However in our experiment, the degree of accuracy was dependent on the shape of electro-optical transfer functions of LCD. It has been founded that the GOG model could be applied for LCD monitors having monotonically increased Electro-optical transfer function.

한국은 이미 2000년 7월 1일을 기준으로 65세 이상의 인구가 전체 인구의 7.1%를 차지해 고령화사회로 진입했다. 본 연구는 이들 고령인구(이하 실버세대)의 선행연구 되어있는 컬러선호도와 제품/상품의 관여도에 따른 실제 구입컬러의 차이를 요인과 함께 분석함으로써 실버산업의 가능성과 컬러마케팅의 효용성에 관하여 연구하였다. 본 연구는 향후 맞이 할 고령화 사회에서 소비의 주체로 떠오르게 될 실버세대와 기업과의 커뮤니케이션에 있어 중요한 데이터로 활용 될 수 있을 것이다.
