미용전공자의 전공선택동기와 소속감에 따른 학업지속의도 : 일반대학과 원격대학 비교 (Influence of Beauty Major Students' Motivation for Major Selection and Sense of Belonging on Learning Persistence Intention : A Comparison between General and Cyber Universities)

  • 20대를 대상으로 하였던 대학이 최근에는 운영방식, 설립목적, 교육대상이 다양화되었다. 대학의 수에 비해 급격한 학령인구의 감소로 대학(과)은 신입생의 확보와 재학생의 중도탈락 최소화를 위해 최선의 노력을 기울이고 있다. 본 연구는 2년제와 4년제 일반대학과 원격대학의 미용관련 학과 재학생을 대상으로 전공선택동기와 소속감이 학업지속의도에 미치는 효과를 실증하기 위해 온라인 설문을 진행하였다. 일반대학 119명, 원격대학 113명에게 수집된 자료를 SPSS.28를 이용해 분석한 주요한 결과를 요약하면, 일반대학은 전공선택동기는 학업지속의도에 미치는 영향이 유의미하지 않았으나 소속감은 유의미한 정(+)의 효과를 미쳤다. 또한, 소속감이 높아지면 외적동기는 학업지속의도를 유의미하게 상승시키는 조절효과가 나타났다. 원격대학은 전공선택동기 중 내적동기와 소속감이 학업지속의도에 유의미한 정(+)의 효과가 나타났으며 전공선택동기와 학업지속의도의 관계에서 소속감의 조절효과는 유의미하지 않았다. 결과적으로 재학생의 학업지속의도에 있어 일반대학은 대학(과)의 소속감이 주요했으며 원격대학은 내적동기가 주요했다. 이러한 결과는 재학생의 중도탈락 예방을 위한 대학(과)의 효과적인 정책 수립을 위한 의미있는 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

비전이 학교생활에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Influences that Visons have on School Life)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학생들이 자신의 미래에 대한 비전의 유 무 및 명확성이 학교생활에 미치는 영향을 분석한 것이다. 우리는 누구나 자신의 비전을 가질 수 있지만 그러나 비전이 명확하고, 비전을 구체화시켜서 비전을 자신의 삶의 목표로 삼을 수 있는지에 따라서 인생의 성공 여부를 결정짓는데 크게 영향을 미치게 된다. 본 연구 결과에 의하면 명확한 비전을 가지고 대학생활을 하는 대학생일수록 학교생활에 대한 만족감, 열정, 소속감이 강했으며, 학교생활 과정에서 일어나는 여러 가지 부닥치는 좌절 상황에서는 결코 포기하지 않고 부단히 노력한 결과 결국에는 자신의 삶의 목표를 향해 나아가게 된다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 본 연구에서의 분석 결과에 의하면 아직도 많은 대학생들이 자신의 미래에 대한 명확한 비전을 가지고 학교생활을 하는 대학생이 절반도 되지 않는 다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 비전이 대학생에게 미치는 영향과 중요성을 고려한다면 자신의 비전을 빠른 시간 내 가질 수 있도록 학교, 학과, 부모, 선배 등이 비전을 찾을 수 있도록 도와주어야 한다. 대학생들이 자신의 비전을 찾는 방법을 잘 알지 못해서 자신의 미래에 대해 설계를 제대로 하지 못하고 있다면 이제 학교가 나서서 비전을 찾을 수 있도록 지원해 주어야 한다. 그에 대한 구체적 방법으로 비전 찾기 캠프 실시, 비전 찾는 방법에 대한 교육, 다양한 분야의 독서, 리더십 강좌 개설 등을 통해 자신의 명확한 비전을 찾을 수 있도록 지원해야 한다.

  • Nowadays a sense of community based on our community further weakens due to globalization, industrialization, the development of transportation and communication, etc and the community as cultural and psychological units is focused on. In other words, the concept that emphasizes the aspect of 'we' sharing the unique value and goal of community is used. In this current situation, school as an important community organization has been in the spotlight. In particular, college compared with other communities has a special influence on the community. Therefore it is regarded as an important community organization and its importance as part of our efforts to decrease the college students wastage rates continues to grow. The study about school as an important community organization has been conducted actively. However the people in most studies are elementary, middle, and high school students, so there are limitations to what these study findings apply to college. Therefore, this study conducted factor analysis of college sense of community for local college students, categorized it, analyzed the factors having influence on each factor and then looked for suggestions of ways to strengthen college sense of community. According to study, sense of community is categorized into three factors such as 'sense of belonging', 'sense of solidarity', and 'sense of emotional closeness'. After analyzing the factors influencing types of sense of community, factors relevant to them are grades, intimate friends, subjective well-being, community volunteer work, college service satisfaction, and so on.

특수목적용 모바일 앱의 성공요인에 관한 실증연구: A 대학교 모바일 캠퍼스 앱을 중심으로 (An Empirical Study on Success Factors of Special-Purpose Mobile Applications: Focusing on the Mobile Campus Application of A University)

  • Recently, with the increasing popularity of smartphones, mobile applications have been being used in various sectors. In these environments, some mobile applications are being made for special purposes. The mobile campus application is one exemplary type of such special-purpose mobile applications, which have unique characteristics that allow only designated users, belonging to a specific group, to access and use relevant knowledge. The aim of this study is to identify and investigate critical success factors of mobile campus applications based on the DeLone & McLean's information systems (IS) success model and to find unique characteristics of mobile campus applications, compared to general-purpose mobile applications. In order to empirically test our research model, 199 samples were collected from students who actually had experience of using the mobile campus application of A university at least once. The findings of the structural equation modeling using SmartPLS 2.0 confirmed the DeLone & McLean's IS success model, with the exception for relationships between service quality and user satisfaction/intention to use. Moreover, the moderating role of sense of belonging to school on the relationships between quality-related factors (i.e., information, system, and service qualities) and success-related factors (i.e., user satisfaction and intention to use) was examined.

혐오시설 공원화에 따른 주민만족도가 커뮤니티 의식에 미치는 영향 연구 - 마루공원(탄천 물 재생센터)을 대상으로 - (Study of the Influence of a Park Project within Unpleasant Facilities on Residents' Satisfaction in the Community - Targeting Maru Park (Tancheon Sewage Treatment Center) -)

  • 혐오시설은 인근 지역의 생활환경에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 시설로 인식되어 지역주민들로부터 기피되었으나, 최근 부정적 인식 개선을 위해 혐오시설 공원화사업이 진행되었고, 지역주민의 만족도가 상당히 높게 나타났다. 또한 혐오시설 공원화 사업은 보다 쾌적한 생활환경을 제공하고, 지역주민의 삶의 질 향상을 도모하여 지역주민 간 갈등을 해소하고, 상호 친밀감을 조성하는 등 커뮤니티의식에 일정부분 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 보인다. 본 연구는 혐오시설이 공원화됨에 따라 지역주민의 만족도가 커뮤니티 의식변화에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 규명하고자 수행되었으며, 이를 위해 대표적인 혐오시설인 하수처리장을 복개 후 공원으로 조성한 서울특별시 강남구의 마루공원 방문객을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였다. 분석결과에 따르면, 과거 탄천 물 재생센터가 마루공원으로 조성된 후 만족도는 매우 높은 편이었다. 방문객이 느끼는 커뮤니티 의식도 대체로 높은 편이었으나, '정주의식 및 소속감'에 비해 '연대의식 및 주민유대'는 다소 낮은 수준이었다. 방문객의 만족도가 커뮤니티 의식에 미치는 상대적 영향을 알아보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 한 결과, '정주의식 및 소속감'항목에는 생태적 건강도 만족도가 가장 큰 영향력을 미쳤고, 다음으로 경관미 만족도인 것으로 나타났으며, 청결미만족도는 영향관계가 없는 것으로 분석되었다. '연대의식 및 주민유대' 항목은 청결도, 생태적 건강도, 경관미 만족도 모두 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 이 같은 결과로 볼 때, 혐오시설이 공원화 됨에 따라 '정주의식 및 소속감'은 긍정적인 변화가 나타났지만, 영향이 미치지 않는 '연대의식 및 주민유대'를 고취하기 위해서는 주민들의 의식변화를 위한 적절한 시설과 이용프로그램 제공이 마련되어야 한다고 판단된다.

방과후 집단활동 프로그램의 참여가 아동의 사회적 능력에 미치는 효과 (The effect of an after-school program on social competency of school-aged children)

  • This study firstly focused on development of an after-school program for school-aged children, and secondarily exploring the relationship between the after-school program and social competency of school-aged children. The program was composed of 10 two-hour sessions. The main goal of the program was to instill a sense of self-acknowledge, self-worth, responsibility and belonging to society and social activities. The subjects of this study were 29 children of first, second and third glades at the elementary schools in Seoul. This program was administered from March to May 1999. The data were analysed by frequency, mean, and paired t-test using the SAS program package. The major findings of this study were summarized as follows; There were significant differences in the degrees of social competency between before and after participating in the program(t=1,92 p<.05). The after-school program for school-aged children affect social competency variable as ‘initiative’(t=3,52 p<.001), but do not affect ‘sociability’, ‘responsibility’or ‘self-disclosure’. These results lead us to conclude that an after-school program of this type would be useful for developing peer-interation and for later social competency.

페이스북에서 상대방에 대한 존재 인식: 사회적 현존감의 실증적 분석 (Awareness of the Others on Facebook: Empirical Analysis of Social Presence)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the reasons why college students use Facebook and the ways in which they feel of social presence while using Facebook. In fact, the study aimed to specify the links between motivations for using SNS and a sense of 'being together'. The findings of this study suggest that major motivations of SNS use were social interaction, entertainment, self-presentation, and information-seeking. Specifically, results from a survey of 280 respondents revealed that college students used Facebook to seek maintenance and connection with friends, to express themselves, to get information about school activities, and to be entertained. These findings are consistent with the existing literature regarding SNS as a primary channel to maintain the existing social relationships among college students. The study also found that all motivation factors, except information-seeking factor, were positively and significantly related to social presence. The strongest correlations were between social presence and Facebook use for social interaction and entertainment needs. It seemed that users who seek social interaction and entertainment needs are more likely to feel a sense of being with others while users who seek to get information are less likely to feel a sense of social presence. These findings implied that to some extent, a sense of social presence occurs in the context of Facebook and that the experience of social presence depends on what college students seek from Facebook use. In addition, the results showed a positive relationship between Facebook use and social presence; the more college students use Facebook, the more they are likely to experience sense of social presence. Given that Facebook provides college students with a place where they can share thought and feelings among friends, it can be concluded that Facebook contributes to the sense of belonging among users. And such feeling may enhance a sense of presence with others while using Facebook. These findings suggest that uses and gratifications researchers should consider the concept of social presence as an important variable in explaining what audience members do with media.

공동체 정체성과 공동체문화의 지속가능성 고찰 - 예안면 부포리의 동계와 상여계를 중심으로 (View sustainability of community identity and community culture - Centered on Dong-gye and Sangyeo-gye in Bufori, Yean-myeon)

  • This study looked at the factors that shaped the identity of the Bupo-dong community through Dong-gye and Sangyeo-gye, mainly in the case of Bupori, Yeah, and Adong, and to identify that Dong-gye and Sangyeo-gye, played an important role in shaping and strengthening the community culture of its members. As a result of his inspection, Bupo-dong formed and maintained his belonging and identity as a member of Bupo-dong through the Dong-gye, the town's autonomy code. We were able to confirm that bupo-dong, unlike other villages where community culture is largely destroyed, has been able to continue its own community culture as a bupo people to this day, with a sense of belonging, solidarity and intimacy through the Sangyeo-gye of cooperation and relief. And it can be seen that the fact that the Burawon space, which has symbolic meaning to the people of Bupo-dong, exists without being watered down. It is important to discuss the community culture of Bupo-dong, which is sustainable, mainly in Bura-dong, which continues to be an important cultural space for bupo-dong people to meet and town events.

학령기 아동의 방과후 자아존중감 프로그램 개발 및 참여효과에 관한 연구 (The Development & Effectiveness of an After-school Self-esteem Program)

  • The after-school self-esteem program developed for this study consisted of 53 40-minute sessions; its goal was to instill a sense of self-reliance, belonging to society, self-worth, self-control, independence, responsibility, and respect. The program was administered to 32 first, second and third grade elementary school children from April 2002 to September 2002. The data were analyzed by frequency, mean, and paired t-test, using the SAS program package. Results showed significant before and after differences in the degree of self-esteem among the participants in the after-school self-esteem program.

대학기숙사 물리적 주거공간환경이 기숙사 거주학생들간 인지된 공동체의식 및 사회적 교류에 미치는 영향 연구 (Effects of Physical Living Environment on the Social Interaction and Perceived Sense of Community among Students in University Dormitory)

  • College students living in university dormitory continuously experience unique physical and social living conditions, being away from their hometown and loving families. Most college students has engaged in a very limited social activities in dormitory area. Studies have shown that sense of community(SOC) is closely related to students' social activities. However, few research have examined the relationship between physical environment and sense of community. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the effects of physical environment of dormitory on students' perceived sense of community and their social interaction. Extensive literature review found that developing social interaction and building a sense of student community improve students' overall residential satisfaction with dormitory and personal academic growth. Survey on A university dormitory and Chi square analysis (${\chi}^2$) indicated that each group's individual characteristics such as gender, grade, living period, and personality were statistically significant on the level of SOC at the level of p=.01. Individual analysis of SOC showed that sense of belonging was higher than shared emotional connection, which means certain level of intervention is needed. Pearson correlation analysis validated that there exists statistically significant relationship between physical environment and SOC. Further it also found that the most important predictor in facilitating social interaction were comfortable, quiet, and enough social space around the dormitory.
