문화콘텐츠기술(CT) R&D 연계 고령친화산업의 수요와 공급에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on the Demand & Supply to Senior friendly industry to Culture Contents Technology(CT) R&D)

  • 본 논문은 노인세대를 위한 고령친화산업으로서 노인여가산업과 관련된 정보기술(IT, CT)의 참여현황을 분석하고 노인을 포함한 소외계층을 타겟으로 한 '공공문화서비스' 분야의 CT R&D 로드맵과 현재의 기술현황을 제시함으로써 향후 베이비부머 세대 소비계층의 정보기술의 니즈를 충족시킬 수 있는 콘텐츠 기술(CT) R&D 분야의 정책적 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 고령친화 CT R&D의 수요측면에서 지식정보 고령친화산업의 성장과 정보통신기술, 문화콘텐츠 기술 참여 수요와 여가문화를 분석하여 디지털 기기와 서비스에 대한 중노년층의 참여현황을 분석하였다. 고령친화 문화콘텐츠산업의 기술 R&D 공급 분석에서는 문화관광부가 정한 주요 CT R&D 산업의 대분류 중 '게임'과 노인, 장애인을 타겟으로 한 '공공문화서비스 분야'의 기술공급 현황을 분석하였다. 고령친화 문화콘텐츠 산업의 기술 R&D는 창의적이고 감성적이고 경험에 기반 하는 소통할 수 있는 콘텐츠가 포함되어야 하며, 건강, 경제적 안정성과 정보의 공유와 같이 비 게임적 요소들에 대한 니즈를 충족시켜야 하는 것으로 나타났다.

Development of cooking method for senior-friendly food using fruits suitable for older adults with masticatory dysfunction

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this study was to establish a fruit-cooking method suitable for older adults with masticatory dysfunction. MATERIALS/METHODS: Five types of fruits were selected to make fruit jelly and puree: apple, sweet persimmon, mandarin, Korean melon, and watermelon. Recipes were selected based on the Korean Industrial Standard (KS) for senior-friendly foods (KS H 4897), which classifies foods into 3 levels (L1-L3) based on their hardness and viscosity. RESULTS: In South Korea, senior-friendly foods are classified into 3 stages based on their hardness. Stage 1 is for foods that are able to eat with teeth (hardness greater than 50,000 N and less than 500,000 N), Stage 2 is for foods that are able to eat with gums (hardness greater than 20,000 N and less than 50,000 N), and Stage 3 is for foods that are able to eat with the tongue (hardness less than 20,000 N). As a result of measuring the hardness by varying the shape of the fruit, it was found that nearly all fruits could be eaten fresh by chewing with the teeth (L1) but did not meet the KS for mastication using the gums (L2) or tongue (L3), so the cooking method was selected as fruit jelly and fruit puree. Only sweet persimmon, which had a hardness of 61,624-496,393 N, was not suitable for consumption in fresh fruit, unprocessed form. Based on their hardness measurements, fruit jellies (27,869 to 36,343 N) and fruit purees (315 to 1,156 N) met the L2 and L3 requirements, respectively. The viscosity results of all fruit purees met the L3 requirement. CONCLUSION: These results offer a simple cooking method to prepare texture-modified fruits suitable for safe consumption by older adults living with masticatory difficulties in general households and nursing facilities.

맞벌이 가정의 일-가정 균형을 위한 기업의 가족친화정책 실시, 활용 및 요구 (Needs and Utilization of Family-Friendly Work Policies for the Work-family Balance)

  • The purposes of this study are to provide background information to develop a family-friendly work policy and to increase the effectiveness and feasibility of this policy. We surveyed the performance of family-friendly work policies, and workers‘ needs and utilizations of 17 family-friendly work policies. We also examined the factors that influence the utilization of family-friendly work policies. The study sample consists of 197 working mothers who have at least one child under age 10. The major findings are as follows: 1) The most-needed family-friendly work policy among working mothers is child care leave 2) Of those family-friendly work policies that are not currently provided, the most-needed policy is family care leave 3) The size of firms, the provision of substitutes, and 40-hour work schedules are statistically significant variables that influence the provision of necessary family-friendly work policies and 4) In addition, the work place culture is a very important factor related to the utilization of work- and family-friendly policies.

물성조절 기술을 활용한 고령친화식 전복(Haliotis discus hannai)장의 품질 특성 (Physicochemical Characteristics of Marinated Abalone Haliotis discus hannai in Seasoned Soy Sauce for the Elderly Using Texture Modification Technology)

  • This study aimed to develop and commercialize abalone Haliotis discus hannai marinated in seasoned soy sauce (AM-S) for the elderly by adjusting its texture (hardness) and strengthening its nutritional components. The number of pounding cycles [X1, 2-14 times] and heating time in a retort [X2, 5-19 min] were selected as independent variables, and hardness (Y1) and overall acceptance (Y2) were selected as dependent variables. The optimal conditions for X1 and X2 were 12 pounding cycles and heating in a retort for 17 min, respectively. The hardness values 209.2×103 N/m2 for the third method and 259.1×103 N/m2 for the first method. The nutritional value was 13.1 g/100 g crude protein and vitamins A, D, and C were not detected. The mineral content was 33.2 mg/100 g calcium and 258.7 mg/100 g potassium. Organisms from the coliform group and Escherichia coli were not detected. Therefore, AM-S for the elderly was classified as a hardness- and nutrient-controlled product based on the standards and specifications of senior-friendly foods provided in the MFDS and classified as the first step of senior-friendly foods according to the standards and specifications of senior-friendly foods provided in the KS.

'가족형' 마을만들기 시범사업 사례 연구 (A Qualitative Case Study Focused on the National Pilot Project to Make Family-Friendly Communities)

  • This Qualitative case study focused on the National Pilot Project to make family-friendly communities. We examined the basic model of the family-friendly community proposed by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. One of the three local communities selected as family friendly models was chosen for observation and in-depth interview for its residents. The official performance report shows this project's process, results and future tasks. From the in-depth interview data, we defined the project's characteristics as the government and private sectors collaboration, model transformation from the original family friendly model to the production model, and we found some conflicts among residents upon financial issues and business items. The most important task is the vitalization of the community corporate body to realize this project's performance through these three years. And this study implicates to elaborate the rural family-friendly community model focused on income creating community redesign, different from the urban model focused on caring.

뉴시니어 여성을 위한 자전거의류의 착용 평가 (The Wearing Evaluation of Bicycle Wear for New Senior Women)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an aesthetic and functional bicycle wear for new senior women in their 50s and 60s. We developed bicycle wear that is friendly to bicycling posture and reflects the preference of new senior women. Both the expert group and the subject group evaluated the appearance, completeness of clothing and motion functionality. The results are as followed: First, in the evaluation result of the expert group regarding the appearance and completeness of clothing, high scores are given to design, materials, color scheme, the trends suitability as well as the appearance with regard to clothing fitness. Second, in the results of the evaluation of the appearance and movement functionality targeting the subject groups, movement functionality was rated higher than appearance. In the case of the appearance evaluation, adhesion of both jacket and pants was rated very highly, which is considered to come from the elasticity of the material. In the functionality evaluation, what were pointed out as inconvenient details in the prior studies were found to be all improved and the sleeves and armpit parts were rated highly. Therefore, the pattern design and the usage of the materials suggested in this study were found to be very suitable in the movement on the ride of bicycle.

일본의 지역친화형 노인복지시설 사례를 통해서 본 노인요양공동생활가정의 계획 방향 (Review of Planning on the Congregate Nursing Homes Based on the Case Study for the Local Friendly Elderly Welfare Facilities in Japan)

  • The purpose of this research is to explore the best examples from Japan to derive spatial and institutional characteristics. This study used the field survey method for 6 elderly welfare facilities in Japan. The characteristics of local friendly facility are as follows; First of all, since elderly care facilities in South Korea are separated from local community and facility plans are large-scaled and unified which are disconnected from local area, this research set aging in community, multi-function, diversity, and intergeneration into the concept that is necessary for local friendly facilities. Secondly, residential environment plan's basic directions are 1) plan that minimizes facilities-like atmosphere, 2) spatial plan that focuses on the elderly dignity and privacy, 3) comfortable and enjoyable communal living space plan, 4) local friendly and communicating plan, 5)plan that minimizes staff's care giving burden. Thirdly, the rooms necessary for local friendly facility model are composed of bedroom, dining room, kitchen, living room, garden, toilet, laundry room, bathroom, corridor, and office based on the legal installation standards.
