농촌지역 고령자 공동시설의 추진방향 - '농촌고령자 공동시설지원 시범사업'을 중심으로 - (A Policy of Senior Community Center in Rural Area - Focused on Pilot Project of Senior Community Center -)

  • The elderly rate in South Korea in 2013 is over 12%. Especially, the elderly rate in rural area is 36%, i.e., in rural area, one of three is people aged 65 and over. Senior community project in rural that is being promoted by the government. This project is to improve the quality of life health and welfare services for the elderly in rural Area. This paper investigates cases used as living space by interview and remodeling senior centers (village community center) for the elders living alone in rural areas. In Gimje two the nation's first senior centers were remodeled in 2006 (for both the village community center) and were begun to use these as group homes. Evaluation was a success. Since then, these were increased by approximately 20 centers per year by year and are currently 108 centers at the end of 2011. In Chungcheongnam-do, a pilot project has been begun for communal living by remodeling the senior center (for both the village community center) and elderly housing. Municipalities are similar in their business (is mostly). Senior community center projects can proceed smoothly in the direction of some of the following tips and suggestions to promote. Senior community center should be expanded for 'private room type'. Government must support the operating costs. It will increase employment in rural areas. Senior community center should be 'Home Atmosphere'.

전남 동부도시 노인복지관의 공간적 특성 (The Space Characteristics of Senior Welfare Centers in Eastern Cities of Jeonnam Province)

  • The senior welfare centers should provide integrated welfare services to the elderly whose needs are in change. So this paper tried to find a direction for improvement by identifying the spatial organization of the centers which are in Yeosu, Suncheon and Gwangyang. Classification of spaces of senior welfare center followed the guidelines 2020 for senior welfare center from Ministry of Health and Welfare which are consultation, medical rehabilitation, day or short-term protection, social education, home welfare, employment, welfare and public relations and PR planning and by adding management and public space. The above factors are invested and analyzed. The results of the survey and analysis of seven senior welfare centers are as follows. First, in the survey, the spatial organization of the senior welfare centers surveyed showed that the larger the size is, the dominantly lager the social education space is. Second, the space for day or short-term care, and employment is less than 1% of the total area, and most senior welfare centers do not have a basic space for this. Third, the space related to home welfare and counseling is very small, and more than half of the senior welfare centers do not have space related to it.

패션뷰티 산업분야의 시니어 시프트 현황분석 (The case study of the current senior shift in fashion and beauty brand)

  • In recent years, there has been increasing interest in the senior people in our aging society. This paper will give an account of the current cases of senior shift. The first section of this paper will examine a conceptual approach based on a literature review and analyze case studies of senior shifts by national fashion and beauty brands. It will be helpful for the 'New Senior' consumer group, which in emerging in an aging society. The research methods applied were a literature review and a case study, and a database search was conducted to determine the current situation of global brands. The results of the literature review showed that seniors can be classified into four types based on their physical aging condition and emotional tendency: Prime Senior, Smart Senior, Rational Senior, and Slump Senior. The first thing that needs to be said is that the Prime Senior type is found commonly in as a way to appoint a senior model in order to switch brand image. Cases of the Smart Senior type appeared only in the beauty field, which attempted multilateral approaches such as launching products exclusively for seniors and offering make-up services after improving the usability and functionality in response to senior consumers'needs. However, as no cases of senior shift were found for the Rational Senior and Slump Senior types in either the fashion or beauty field, future studies should explore the market approaches used in those categories.

Development of Health Indices and Market Segmentation Strategies for Senior Health Services

  • Purpose - This study surveys factors such as lifestyles, nutritional status, physical indicators, and physical fitness levels that affect the health of seniors over the age of 65 and based on the collected data attempts to create a senior health index model that provides health service information, help support seniors' successful aging, and improve their quality of life. Research design, data, and methodology - This paper conducted the development for senior health index model and the cross validity verification to examine the status of senior health level, and aimed at setting the health status evaluation criteria. Seniors 384 usable data were analyzed. Results - As an attempt to segment the senior health service market, I divided the results of this study based on measurability, accessibility, disparity between groups, and the size of the potential client base. I divided the senior market into five subgroups: very healthy, healthy, normal, weak, and very weak. Conclusions - The findings of this study may prove useful in preparing for the forthcoming super-aged society through segmentation of the senior market, understanding differences between groups with different health conditions, and discovering effective marketing strategies that meet the demands of different senior groups.

노인계획주거 대안선택 집단에 따른 특성 비교 -일ㆍ여가ㆍ서비스 제공 수준 차이를 중심으로- (A Study on the Characteristics of Groups Selecting Different Planned Housing Alternatives in Later Life -With Focus to Levels of Work Opportunities, Leisure Activities and Services-)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the general characteristics of test subjects in association with three planned housing alternatives in different focus level of work opportunities, leisure activities and services. Subjects used in the study were people in their 50's who were surveyed in 2002. A total of 464 subjects were selected from 556 samples. Statistical significance was found between the preferred housing alternatives and the subjects' background including education level of the subjects and their spouses, monthly income, assets, subjective economic capabilities, and housing size. However, there was no statistically significant differences in recognition of housing problems for later life among groups. Groups selecting different planned housing alternatives showed statistically significant differences for some features of the senior housing. From these results, it is proposed that various designs based on the levels of work opportunities, leisure activities, and services for the senior housing should be provided to satisfy the demands.

LDA 토픽 모델링을 이용한 액티브 시니어 콘텐츠 트렌드 분석 (Active Senior Contents Trend Analysis using LDA Topic Modeling)

  • 베이비 부머 세대가 고령인구로 진입하면서 기존의 시니어와는 달리 활동적인 모습을 보이는 시니어들이 액티브 시니어라는 신조어로 불리며 새로운 소비자 층으로 떠오르고 있다. 많은 국가들과 기업들도 이들을 주목하고 관련 정책이나 서비스를 제공하고자 하지만 액티브 시니어 트렌드에 대한 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 액티브 시니어에 대한 특징과 이들이 생산하고 소비하는 온라인 미디어 콘텐츠 트렌드를 파악하여, 액티브 시니어를 적극 포용하고 지원할 수 있는 온라인 미디어에 대한 정책 및 서비스 방향성을 제시하고자한다. 이를 위해 소셜 미디어에서 액티브 시니어를 수집 키워드로 2018년 1월 1일부터 2021년 6월 31일까지 8,740건의 데이터를 수집하여 키워드 빈도 분석, TF-IDF 분석, LDA 토픽 모델링 분석을 하였다. 키워드 빈도 분석 및 TF-IDF 분석을 통해서 액티브시니어에 대한 관심도가 급증하고 있다는 것을 파악하였으며 LDA 토픽 모델링 분석을통해서 온라인 콘텐츠의 주제 영역을 10가지로 분류하고 라이프 스타일, 혜택, 쇼핑, 정부 사업, 정부 교육, 건강, 사회/경제, 케어 산업, 실버 주택, 여가로 명명하였다.

Residential Satisfaction of the Elderly in Cooperatively Owned Housing and Rental Housing

  • Aging is accompanied with numerous transitions in life, and residential environment becomes a pivotal part of the elderly's lives. Physically supportive housing linked with services emerges in midst of the reality that retrofitting housing with special features has been seriously underfunded. The purpose of this study was to examine the residential satisfaction of the elderly in two types of independent living arrangements specially designed for the elderly. The indices of residential supportiveness were developed, and the questionnaire survey was adopted for data collection. Two hundred eighty residents living in two different kinds of senior housing participated in the survey, and all the collected responses were used for data analysis. The finding showed that almost all of the elderly positively assessed their senior living. That is, the statistical analysis illustrated that satisfaction indices of senior living significantly and positively contributed the satisfaction with overall residential environment. Satisfaction with physical environment was the only strong predictor in explaining current residential satisfaction of the elderly in senior rental housing, and accounted for a small proportion of the variance in the dependent variable. Since affordability was the biggest concern among residents in senior housing, it was of significance that long-term housing affordability was ensured and reduction in service cost by utilizing economies of scale was pursued.

노인공동생활주택의 개발자 유형에 따른 개발과 관리 특성 선호경향 - 개발$\cdot$거주, 비용을 중심으로 - (Preferences on Development and Management of Senior Congregate Housing according to the Preferred Developer Type - Focused on Development$\cdot$Residence, Cost)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the preferences on development and management of senior congregate housing according to the preferred developer type. For social survey research, survey was conducted from December 1-20, 2004 in seoul Metropolitan area. The data were collected from m people in 40s-60s using questionnaire which distributed only to those having at least $60\%$ of positive interest in developing the senior congregate housing.'rho results were as follows: First, since majority of respondents wanted to have their old age from mid-60's after retirement more independently, the housing should be designed in a way for them to stay in the m's length of friends and community people. Residential spaces should be individually partitioned and various services should be provided in a semi-dependent manner. The location should be where the medical services were systematically available and ambient environment was agreeable. Second, the cohousing type developers preferred to develop the housing in a form of joint investment with the Potential residents, while the individual developers would like to sell or rent the housing thus would ask for the locations at the outskirts of big cities. In conclusion, most respondents had comparatively similar opinions in terms of the preferred types of development, residential aspects and cost features of the senior congregate housing.

노인복지시설 이용자의 서비스 만족도 분석 은평구·강서구 노인복지시설을 중심으로 (Analysis of satisfaction with the service user senior center Focused on senior welfare center Gangseo-gu & Eunpyong-gu)

  • 본 연구는 노인복지관 평생교육 프로그램 및 다양한 노인복지 서비스를 이용하는 60세 이상의 노인이 지각한 노인복지관의 서비스 만족도 요인을 검증하기 위해 해당 복지센터의 허가를 받아 설문지를 배부하여 175부를 자료로 활용하였다. 수집된 데이터를 중심으로 PASW 18.0 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 데이터 분석을 위해 T-test와 One-way ANOVA를 사용하였다. 성별에서는 남자의 전반적인 만족도가 더 높게 나타났으며, 연령은 낮을수록 만족도가 높게 나타났고, 학력은 초등학교 졸과 대학교 졸 이상에서 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 건강상태에서는 건강할수록 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 한 달 용돈으로는 30-50만원 정도 사용하시는 어르신이 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났고, 이용기간으로는 1년 미만과 3년 이상 되신 어르신들이 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 지역에서는 강서구 복지시설을 이용하는 어르신들이 은평구 복지시설을 이용하는 어르신보다 전반적인 서비스 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

경기도 노인복지관 특화 프로그램 평가: 서비스 이용자 관점을 중심으로 (Evaluation on the Specialized Quality Programs of the Senior Welfare Centers in Gyeonggi-do: Focusing on the Perspectives of the Service Users)

  • 본 연구는 노인복지관의 프로그램이 서비스 이용 노인에게 유용한가에 대한 문제의식에서부터 출발하였다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 노인복지관의 프로그램이 서비스 이용자 노인의 욕구를 충족시키고 있는지 여부와 실제적으로 도움이 되는지를 살펴보기 위해서 다음 3가지의 연구방법을 활용하였다. 노인복지관 서비스 이용 노인을 대상으로 하는 '심층 인터뷰'와 노인복지관이 운영하고 있는 '특화 프로그램 분석', 그리고 노인복지 관련 '전문가 FGI'를 실시하였다. 본 연구결과를 통해 다음과 같은 점을 논의하여 제언하고자 한다. 첫째, 권리에 기초한 서비스 이용자 중심의 노인복지관 프로그램 활성화이다. 둘째, 고품격 노인문화를 만들어내는 노인복지관 프로그램의 개발과 실행이 되어야 한다. 셋째, 지역사회와 연계된 노인복지관 프로그램으로의 전환이 필요하다. 끝으로는 프로그램을 소통하는 네트워크 구축 거점센터로서의 역할이 구축되어야 할 것이다.
