In South Korea, as awareness of gender equality increased since the 1990s, policies for gender equality and social awareness of equality have been established. Until recently, however, the gap between men and women in social and economic activities has not reached the globally desired level and led to social conflict throughout the country. In this study, we analyze the content of online news comments to understand the public perception of gender equality and the details of gender conflict and to grasp the emergence and diffusion process of emerging issues on gender equality. We collected text data from the online news that included the word 'gender equality' posted from January 2012 to June 2017 and also collected comments on each selected news item. Through text mining and the temporal semantic network analysis, we tracked the changes in discourse on gender equality and conflict. Results revealed that gender conflicts are increasing in the online media, and the focus of conflict is shifting from 'position and role inequality' to 'opportunity inequality'.

물류환경에 있어서, 데이터베이스의 연계와 데이터베이스 통합의 문제는 매우 중요한 과제로 인식되어 왔다. 그러나, 여기에 대한 빈번한 문제제기에 비해 합리적인 데이터베이스 통합방안에 관한 학술적 측면의 연구는 아직까지 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구는 효과적인 DB통합법과 관련하여 개체 및 속성 간의 유사도 측정에 기반을 둔 계량화된 충돌 식별법을 제안하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 구체적으로, DB 통합 시 빈번히 발생하는 의미적 충돌(Semantic Conflict)현상인 이른바 "Name Conflict"의 식별을 위한 하나의 해결법으로서 개체 및 속성 간 종합적인 유사도를 측정하는 계량화된 식별법을 제안하고자 한다. 그리고, 간단한 예제를 통해 제안한 방안의 유효성과 식별방안을 가늠해 보고자 한다.

This study analyzes messages from Korean TV debates on the conflict over U.S. beef imports and the process of negotiations over the imports in 2008. The authors have conducted a content analysis and a semantic network analysis by using KrKwic and CONCOR. The data was drawn from nine TV debates aired by three major TV networks in Korea (MBC, KBS, and SBS) from 27 April 27 2008 to 6 July 2008. The results indicate substantial differences in the semantic structure between arguments by the government and those by civic groups. We also investigated the relationship between the terms frequently used by both sides (i.e., the government and civic groups), and the terms used exclusively by one side. There was a gradual increase in the number of terms frequently used by both sides over time, from the formation of the conflict to its escalation to its resolution. The results indicate the possibility of general agreement in conflict situations.

본 연구의 목적은 국가지질공원 추진 과정에서 지역주민, 지질 전문가 및 지방자치단체 공무원 사이에서 나타나는 갈등 프레임의 양상을 규명하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 각각 부안과 고창에서 실시된 국가지질공원 추진 관련 주민 공청회의 진행 과정을 참여자들의 사전 동의를 얻어 녹음한 후 텍스트 형태로 전사하였다. 이후 문헌연구를 통해 갈등 프레임을 분석하기 위한 기준 프레임을 개발하였으며, 이를 토대로 3명의 연구자에 의해 갈등 프레임을 분석하였다. 이렇게 분석된 갈등 프레임은 다시 언어네트워크 분석을 활용하여 지역별로 갈등 프레임 간의 구조적 특성을 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 부안 지역에서는 'Sagree' 프레임, 'Snot' 프레임, 'Sdisagree' 프레임이 높은 위세중심성을 보였고, 언어네트워크의 중심에 위치한 'Snot' 프레임에 Cmexample 프레임, Gharm 프레임, Cmeconomy 프레임 등이 긴밀하게 연결되었다. 반면 고창에서는 'Aresource' 프레임, 'Cmexample' 프레임, 'Gharm' 프레임이 높은 위세중심성을 보였고, 언어네트워크의 중심에 위치한 'Aresource' 프레임에 'Cmexample' 프레임, 'Gharm' 프레임, 'Cmproblemsolution' 프레임 등이 긴밀하게 연결되었다. 이를 통해 부안 지역에서는 아직 이해당사자 사이의 갈등이 진행되고 있고, 고창 지역에서는 자신들의 자원을 자랑스럽게 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 부안의 이해당사자들은 갈등 해소에 있어서 경제적 이득에 초점을 둔 반면, 고창의 이해당사자들은 문제 해결에 초점을 두었다. 본 연구의 결과는 국가지질공원 추진에서 나타날 수 있는 갈등 관계를 해소하기 위한 중요한 정보를 제공했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

분기 및 병합은 대규모 소프트웨어 개발에 있어 병렬개발을 지원할 수 있는 소프트웨어 형상관리의 대표적인 기법이다. 상업적인 용도로 쓰이는 기존의 소프트웨어 병합은 문자적 병합에만 의존하고 의미를 고려하지 않아 병합결과에서 의미적 오류를 발생시킬 수 있다. 현재까지 의미적 병합충돌 탐지 및 병합에 대한 연구가 이루어지고 있으나 의미적 병합충돌 및 병합에 대해서만 개별적으로 이루어지고 있으므로, 문자적 병합과정에서 의미적 충돌을 탐지하고 해결할 수 있는 기법에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 프로그램 원본에서 분기된 두개의 프로그램들을 병합하는데 있어서 그들 각각의 원본에 대한 각 라인별 수정, 삭제, 삽입 오퍼레이션들을 정의하여 병합과정에서 발생하는 문자적 충돌 및 실행행위에 관련된 의미적 충돌을 탐지하고 해결하여 병합하는 문자적 병합기법과 의미적 병합기법을 결합한 하이브리드 병합기법을 제시하였다.

With the increasing demand for interoperability among existing learning resource systems in order to enable the sharing of learning resources, such resources need to be annotated with ontologies that use different metadata standards. These different ontologies must be reconciled through ontology mediation, so as to cope with information heterogeneity problems, such as semantic and structural conflicts. In this paper, we propose an ontology-mapping technique using Semantic Web Rule Language (SWRL) to generate semantic mapping rules that integrate learning resources from different systems and that cope with semantic and structural conflicts. Reasoning rules are defined to support a semantic search for heterogeneous learning resources, which are deduced by rule-based inference. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach enables the integration of learning resources originating from multiple sources and helps users to search across heterogeneous learning resource systems.

본 논문에서 제안하는 XMF(XML-based Mediation Framework)는 인터넷상의 이질적이고 분산되어 있는 정보 자원에 대하여 사용자에게는 위치 투명성(location transparency)과 접근 투명성(access transparency)을 보장하면서 통합시 발생하는 구조적 충돌(structural conflict)과 의미적 충돌(semantic conflict)을 해결하는 기능을 가지고 있다. 또한 XMF는 통합 모델로써 XML을 채택함으로써 모든 정보 자원에 대하여 모델링 할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문은 이러한 XMF를 기반으로 인터넷에 산재하는 정보 자원, 그리고 DBMS에 저장, 관리되는 데이터를 통합하여 사용자에게 가상 멀티미디어 문서(virtual multimedia document)를 제공하는 시스템을 구축하는 것이다.
