  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between weight of fabrics and texture and sensibility and preference of consumers for F/W women's jacket fabrics. Structural Equation Model(SEM) using AMOS program was conducted to analyze the relationships. Then, this study aimed to provide useful information in planning designing fabrics through predicting the subjective characteristics analyzed. The main survey was developed the 7-point semantic differential scale of subjective texture, sensibility and preference. Fifty trained female panelists of 20-30 years old were participated and questionnaire method was used with 20 kind of fabric. The evaluation methods such as by the sense of sight & touch were used when fabrics were estimated subjectively. When evaluated by the sense of sight & touch, fabric's weight did not have effect directly on preference, but had effect indirectly on preference through the texture and the sensibility..

뇌손상 환자의 일상생활수행에 대한 인지기능, 통증 및 신체상의 영향 (The Influence of Cognitive Function, Pain, and Body Image on the Activities of Daily Living in Patients with Brain Injury)

  • Purpose: This study is a descriptive study to analyze the relationship between the cognitive function, body image and pain, and the influencing factors on the daily life performance of brain injured patients. Methods: The study subjects were 119 inpatients with brain injury who gave informed consent. The activities of daily living (ADLs), cognitive function, pain and body image were measured by Modified Barthel Index (K-MBI), K-MMSE (Mini-Mental State Examination), Visual Analog Scale (VAS), Semantic Differential Method (SDM), respectively. Results: ADLs was significantly associated with body image, cognitive function, and pain. Multiple regression analysis showed that paralysis, consciousness, cognitive function, and pain were significant factors influencing ADLs. Overall, approximately 48% of total variability in the ADLs could be explained by the 4 variables ($R^2=.477$, p<.001). Conclusion: To improve ADLs of brain injury patients, a deeper understanding of paralysis, consciousness, cognitive function, and pain of patients is required and active nursing invention should be conducted.

패션상품에 활용된 캐릭터의 이미지에 대한 분석 (An Analysis of Character Image Used to Fashion Commodity)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the preference according to the domestic fashion company use the character image of the inside and outside of the country, the recognition for the importance of the character by examining the purchasing behavior of high school girls and college women as the major consumer in the character fashion commodity (in the center of the clothe and accessory), and the aid for the self-development and the licensing of the character in the future. This study targeted 491 high school girls and college women in Daegu and Kyung-pook area. The character preference according to the character image applied the fashion commodity was used the scale of seven point modified the S D (Semantic Differential) method for Kim, Chun-Ae's image measure. The followings are the conclusions of this study; Both the group of high school girls and the group of college women almost represented the similar reaction result for the images of 9 characters. For the preference of the group of high school girls and the group of college women for 9 character, for characters Tweety, Bugs Bunny, the group of college women represented more preference than the group of high school girls. However, for characters of Hello Kitty, Pazama sister's and Dalki, the group of high school girls represented more preference than the group of college women.

요양보호 교육생의 노인에 대한 지식과 태도 (Certified Caregiver Trainees' Knowledge and Attitudes Toward Elderly)

  • Purpose: This study examined caregiver trainees' knowledge and attitude toward the elderly. Method: This descriptive study was conducted with a convenient sample of 119 trainees in a long-term caregiver education program at one university. Following completion of a self-reported questionnaire, knowledge and attitude were measured using FAQ1(Palmore, 1998) and a 20-item semantic differential scale(Sanders et al., 1984). The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation analysis by SPSS version 12.0. Results: The mean score of respondents' knowledge and attitude toward the elderly was $13.51{\pm}2.77$ out of 25 and $81.71{\pm}20.10$ out of 100, respectively. Caregiver trainees' education level and age influenced their knowledge and attitude, respectively, toward the elderly. Conclusion: Caregiver training for the elderly should involve a well-designed education program and continuous teaching that takes into account trainee education and age.

한국 전통무늬의 현대적 응용을 위한 선호도 및 이미지 평가 (Preference and Dvaluation of Image for Modern Application of Korean Traditional Patterns)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the preference of image for modern application of Korean traditional patterns. A survey was conducted using the randomly selected 292 undergraduate women students of Taegu city. The degree of interest and preference in Korean traditional style or something like that had measured by 5 scale method. And then they had two groups which are interest/non-interest group, and preference/non-preference group in Korean traditional style. Also, preference of Korean traditional patterns was measured by 5 scale method. The image of Korean traditional patterns consisted of semantic differential scales. Analysis was by frequency, percentage, and mean. For difference of groups analysis was by t-test. The results were as follows:1. For the survey, 53.8% showed the interest and 40.4% did the preference for the traditional patterns. There was the positive correlation(0.782) between the degree of the interest and preference. 2. Among twenty traditional patterns, the patterns of plants and nature were very preferred, but the patterns of geometrical things was not preferred. 3. For the nature pattern, the image seemed to be elegant and feminine(womanly). For the plant pattern, the image seemed to be feminine, neat, weak, light and mild. For the animal pattern, the image seemed to be heavy, gorgeous, deluxe, virile(manly), strong and active. Last, for the geometrical pattern, the image seemed to be elegant, deluxe, rigid and strong. 4. Between the interest/non­interest groups, there was the significant difference in pattern of cloud, mountain, lotus flower, plum blossoms, orchid, dragon, chinese phoenix and bogy. Especially, for the orchid pattern, the preference difference between these groups was large. 5. For the plant pattern, the image difference between these groups was very large as the elegant-rustic image. Especially, the interest group evaluated as the elegant image. 6. Between the preference/non­preference groups, there was the strongly significant difference in the preference for the orchid pattern. 7. For the geometrical pattern, the image difference between these groups was very large as the mild­cold image. Especially, the preference groups evaluated as the cold image.

마직물의 태에 관한 연구;주관적 평가척도개발과 선호도를 중심으로 (The Study on the Hand of Bast Blended Fabrics -The development of subjective evaluation method and fabrics' preference-)

  • The hand characteristics of bast blended fabrics are studied by a subective evaluation method. To offer basic data for development of better hand of bast fiber fabrics customer's hand preference surveys are executed as well. IN this study 51 varieties of linen or ramie blended fabrics of various blending ratio density and thickness and Hansan ramie Chinese ramie and a Shingosen fabics of various blending ratio density and thickness and Hansan ramie Chinese ramie and a Shingosen farbic and used. To evaluate the hand of the fabrics subjectively nine ranks' semantic differential scale questions of 26 items are developed with adjective pairs. A seven ranks' scale is also developed to evaluate hand preferences in blouse and jacket cloths, Through subjective evaluation of bast blended fabrics the 26 items could be classified into seven kinds of hand classification : surface characteristics extensibility/drapability felling of heaviness stiffness resilience moisture property and feeling of density. The cumulative variance value explained by these seven factors is 67.18% According to the results of fabrics' preference by age groups no significant differences are found in blouse cloths but a few significant differences are found among different age groups in jacket clothes. However experts and non-experts show considerable differences on preference It can be concluded that fabrics' preference I more dependent on professionality than on age. In the survey experts. However more drapery cloths are preferred by experts and cloths with drier touch are preferred by non-experts. Experts prefer rougher less even less winding heavier and sparser fabrics but non-experts prefer rougher lighter thinner and stiffer fabrics as jacket cloths.

Computer Simulation을 이용한 의복의 착시효과와 이미지 연구 Collar와 Sleeve의 조합을 중심으로- (The Study on the Visual illusions and the Image of the Clothing by the Computer Simulation through the combination of the collars and the sleeves)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the visual illusions and image of the combinated collars and sleeves which are combinated by the computer simulation. The detail object of this study as follows; 1) to know the visual illusions of the clothing as the collar and sleeves are combinated 2) to constract the clothing image using sementic differential scales 3) to know the differet image of the clothing as the collars and sleeves are combinted 4) to know the interaction effect of the collars and sleeves of the clothing The detail method of this study is as follows; In the first experiment, there are two groups; the first 8 groups are the combination of the same collar and the different sleeves. The second 8 groups are the combination of the same sleeve and the different collars. The second experiment has done for the 32 clothings which are the combination of the 8 collars and 4 sleeves. For the 14 clothing the image has tested by 13 semantic differential bi- polar scale. The subjects were 50 female students majoring in clothing and textile. The data analyzed by Kendall cofficient of concodance, Factor analysis, Anova and scheffe's test. Briefly the image of the clothing is much influenced by the varing of the collar than that of the sleeve. Thus, we also can conclude that the recognition of the clothing are much more dependent on the collar than sleeve.

감성적 접근방법에 의한 공중전화기 디자인에 대한 연구 (Public Telephone Design by Approach Method of Human Sensibility)

  • 자급제용 공중전화기가 급속도로 증가하고 있는 추세에서 소비자의 디자인 감성을 파악하는 것은 소비자의 개성추구 경향을 반영한 제품을 만드는 토대가 되며, 이를 통해 제품 경쟁력을 높일 수 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 배경을 바탕으로 자급제용 공중전화기에 대한 소비자 욕구(감성)를 정량적으로 측정하였다. 1차 도출된 168개의 감성어휘를 SD척도로 실시한 결과 35개의 감성어휘가 추출되었으며 이를 대상으로 SD척도 7단 구성을 이용하여 남녀 대학생 30명에게 기존 10개의 제품 이미지에 대한 설문조사를 시행하였다. 감성어휘의 요인들간의 상관성을 파악하기 위해 요인분석을 실시하였고, 분류를 위해 군집분석을 실시하였으며, 디자인요소와 감성어휘와의 상관관계를 예측하기 위해 판별분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 감성어휘는 심미성, 기능성, 안전성의 3가지 요인으로 구분되었고, 디자인요소인 몸체, 핸드 셋, 다이얼 조립 판, 다이얼 버튼, 제어버튼, 칼라(몸체), 재질에 대해서 소비자가 느끼는 감성어휘와의 상관관계를 규명하다. 본 연구는 기존의 디자이너 개인의 감각에 의존하는 것보다 더 체계적이고 과학적으로 소비자의 욕구를 파악하여 소비자의 감성을 만족시키는 공중전화기 디자인의 개발에 도움이 되리라 본다.

소비자 감성을 고려한 소파 설계 DB 및 Interface 개발 (Development of Data Base and Interface for Sofa Design Considering Consumer Sensibility)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop data base and interface for sofa consumers and sofa designers. The human sensibility ergonomics method was used to find the consumer needs and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method was used to extract the designing characteristics required for sofa production. About 200 words and 100 images were gathered from sofa and furniture related catalogs and internet sites to find the best emotional words and images that can express the various sofa aspect. Among the collected words and images, 34 emotional words were selected for sensibility experiment according to the opinions of experts, relations of closeness and frequency of use, and 50 images were selected for the experiment by the diversity. Selected words and images were used for the semantic differential method with 94 subjects, and sensibility characteristics of sofas were defined through various statistical analysis methods including basic statistical analysis, factor analysis and multi-dimensional scale. In reflecting design characteristics of sofas, design factors of sofas were divided into backrest, seat, armrest, neck support and leg, and relative importance of each factor for design was determined with analytic hierarchy process (AHP) by utilizing the experts' opinions. Based on the results above, relationship analysis between emotional evaluation results and design factors was performed. Also, as various sofa images are presented diagrammatically through multidimensional scaling method, it can be used as an important tool for the development of sofa design. This study will contribute improving the product quality of sofas as it enables applying consumer needs into the sofa design.

인간의 감성을 고려한 보도경관 설계모형에 관한 연구 (Design of Sidewalk Landscape Considering Human Sensibility)

  • 최근 도시의 급속한 발전과 시민들의 교통문화 의식이 향상되어 물리적인 요인뿐만 아니라 정서적인 측면을 동시에 고려한 보다 나은 보행환경을 요구하고 있는 실정이다. 또한 최소의 물리적인 설계 기준만을 충족시킨 기존의 보행공간이 보행 기피의 한 원인이 되고 있으므로 보행환경의 개선이 필요한 실정이다. 보행환경 개선을 위해서는 우리나라 보행자들이 편안하고 쾌적하게 느끼는 보행환경이 무엇인지를 파악하는 것이 매우 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 SD 척도의 조사기법을 이용하여 인간의 정서적인 측면을 고려할 수 있는 감성공학을 적용한 보행환경 실험을 실시하였다 그리고 SD 척도에 의한 감성형용사의 감성인지를 분석하는데 유용한 LISREL 모형을 이용하여 보도경관의 인지평가 모형과 보도 설계요소의 감성인지 모형을 구축하였다 그 결과 보도 설계시 감성공학을 도입함으로써 쾌적하고 편안한 보도환경 구현이 가능하며 가로수 등의 식재를 통한 녹색환경을 조화롭게 구성하는 것이 무엇보다 중요함을 알 수 있었다
