The analysis of impression formation effect of hair style using SPSS WIN package have completed from the principal component analysis by Varimax perpendicular rotation method and ANOVA was used to recognize the difference in impression formation according to hair style change. In the case of statistical difference was appeared, LSD post-verification was applied for that. The conclusions of this study is as followed ; 1. The factors of impression formation effected by hair style were classified as goodwill factor, refinement factor, elegance factor and individuality factor. 2. In terms of goodwill factor, long hair style showed highest level and short cut hair, bobbed hair in an order. In refinement factor, there was no difference between short cut hair and bobbed hair and both of them was higher than long hair. In elegance factor, long hair was highest and bobbed hair was lowest. • In this paper the authors presents a new method, named FR-SERVQUAL, of evaluating perceived service quality in Public Sectors, using triangle fuzzy numbers and semantic differential scale. By conventional quantification methods, it is not easy to express the notion of a linguistic variables and customers' subjective judgements. In contrast to the conventional PZB methods which express the customers' perception of quality as a function of gap between the expected and perceived service, this paper suggests to use the ratio of the two. Through an application example, this paper shows that the current FR-SERVQUAL approach provides a more realistic way of measuring service quality compared to existing methods.

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to investigate nursing students' attitudes toward the elderly and to explore the effects of senior simulation on nursing students' attitudes. Method: For the purpose of the study, the program was performed on 223 nursing students in Gyung-gi. An Aging Semantic Differential Scale was utilized to evaluate attitudes toward the elderly. The senior simulation equipment consisted of a special spacesuit, glasses, gloves, and sand bag. Before and after the experiment subjects filled out questionnaires. Result: The attitude score before the experiment was 4.13, which indicates a neutral attitude, Nursing students' attitudes toward the elderly related significantly to religion, living with grandparents, volunteer work for the elderly, and acquired knowledge. The Senior simulation enabled nursing students' attitudes to turn positive toward the elderly. Conclusion: Senior simulation can affect nursing students' attitude toward the elderly. There is a need to develop routine education programs to maintain the positive attitude.

  • Recently, brick walls are being widely introduced in rural areas. Walls are a very important design element of space. However, most brick wall works do not consider the human psychological characteristics. The purpose of this study was to investigate psychological characteristics on brick wall bonds such as the stack bond, running bond, english bond, flemish bond, america bond. The results of the research can be summarized as follows: 1)There is no statistical difference of psychological evaluation results among student groups using the semantic differential scale method using 10 adjectives. 2)Stack bonds have an uninspiring, artificial, simple, restful, boring and ordered psychological characteristic. Running bonds have an uninspiring, restful and ordered psychological characteristic. America bonds have a unique and modernistic psychological characteristic. English bonds have a unique, modernistic, complex and chaotic psychological characteristic. Flemish bonds have no critical psychological characteristics. 3)The running bond earned the highest score in preference, while the stack bond scored the lowest. Employment of brick wall bonds on this study was not highly preferred, hence it is necessary to develop a new brick wall bond design. 4)In conclusion, the proper selection of brick wall bonds is very important and we should consider human psychological characteristics in the design of rural areas.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the image perception of modern fashion according to erotic expressions ans erotic levels. The research methods werea quasi-experimental research. The experimental materials developed for the study were a set of stimuli and a responsse scale. The stimuli was consisted of 15 photographs according to erotic expressions and erotic levels. The reponse scale consisted of semantic differential scales. The subjects consisted of 254 male and 260 female undergraduate students of Chungnam National University by a convenient sampling method. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test and t-test. Result were as follows ; 1) The fashion image of erotic experessions and levels, were categorized into 3 images factors : sexy-potency, modesty, attractiveness. 2) The erotic expressions significantly affected on three image factors 3) The erotic levels showed significant differences in three image dimensions and stronger erotic levels pressented more sexy-potency, less models and attractive images. 4) The erotic expressions showed interaction effects with the erotic levels in three image dimensions. 5) Subject's gender had a significant difference on fashion image perception : male subjects perceived the fashion photographs more attractive than female subjects did.

  • It is a Known fact that driving through long tunnel increases possibility of traffic accident because of psychological feeling of insecurity and dispersion of drivers' concentration since driving in narrow and limited space for a longtime. It, therefore, results in raising transportation and environment problems, such as traffic accident difficult to be properly dealt with and ventilation. This study aims at proposing a method of augmenting driving amenity by improving the internal lighting facilities in the tunnel. The study is conducted by investigating internal landscapes of tunnels by lighting colors, which are currently being operated. The Color Planning System (CPS), developed by SHARP Co. Ltd, is exploited for selecting adjective that express the sensitivity image on lighting colors. The CPS is an example that applies to sensitivity of human body for products design development. The CPS takes the following process to define the color : 1) expressing "Pvoduct's Image" as "A Word (adjective)" and 2) referring "A Word" to "Image Scale", and 3) determining the color through this "Image Panel". The study is processed by making a questionnaire using the semantic differential (SD) scale, grasping the consciousness structure of experimental persons through the Factor Analysis, and building a model in which dependent variable is "Degree of Preference" about internal landscape in tunnel using LISREL(LInear Structural RELations).
