도시가계의 비목별 소비지출에 영향을 미치는 변인-주부의 생활양식성향을 중심으로- (Study on Urban Households' Consumption Expenditure -Focusing on Housewives' Lifestyle-)

  • This study shows how the lifestyle of Housewife as well as usual socio-economic variables affect the expenditure of urban household. The Result of Factor Analysis revealed that the lifestyle of urban housewives were composed by four different traits. 1) self-improvement and rational trait 2) consumption-oriented convenience seeking trait 3) traditional-conservation trait 4) money-oriented variety seeking trait. Based on the Multiple regression analysis the analysis of the relative influence of variables which were associated with the expenditure of each item showed that influential variables for each item were different but economic variables(e, g , income saving, property etc) affected on most of expenditure. Socio-economic variables were more influential than lifestyle variables for every item. But lifestyle variables were influential the same as Socio-economic variables for unnecessary expenditure item more than necessary items particularly consumption-oriented convenience eeking trait and money-oriented variety seeking trait affected.

의복 구매시 정보 탐색 활동에 관한 연구 -자아 이미지와 추구 편익을 중심으로- (A Study on the Information Search Behavior Emphasis on the Self-image and Benefit -)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the factors which explain consumer's information search behavior. Data were analyzed by utilizing factor analysis and multiple-regression to investigate the relationship among information sources, benefit, and actual and ideal self- image and demographics. Based on the results, information sources for benefit, actual and ideal self-image were developed. Predictors of information sources, benefits, and self-image were identified. Marketing implication about information sources were discussed. The results were as follows. 1. Actual and ideal self-images and information sources were devised into three factors. And benefits were devised into five factors. 2. Actual self-image has more predicting power than ideal self-image to the benefits which consumer sought. Among five benefits, character pursuit was the best predicted factor according to the self-image. 3. Among three information sources, mass communication was the most effective source which can be explained by the benefit and self-image. Fashion pursuit factor was the most significant factor to the mass communication oriented source.

주부의 가치관에 따른 소비자 유형별 의복추구혜택과 구매관련행동 특성 (A Study on Apparel Benefits and Buying Behavior according to Values and Lifestyles)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to classify female consumers on VALS, 2) to identify the differences of psychological characteristics and demographics among the classified groups, and 3) to investigate the apparel benefits, buying behavior, shopping practices and psychological characteristics of each groups. For the study, a sample of 340 female consumers participated in this survey research. The data was analyzed utilizing descriptive statistics, factor analysis, cluster analysis, $\chi^2$-test, one-way ANOVA and Duncan test. Seven dimensions of values were identified by factor analysis: Consumption-oriented, Achievement-oriented , Diligence/sincerity-oriented, Pessimistic value tendencious, conservative/conventional value oriented, Dignity-oriented and Socialite-oriented. Based on these dimensions female consumers classified into three clusters: inner values-directed group, passive/inactive group, and achievement-oriented group. Achievement-oriented group showed the highest scores in optimum stimulation level and materialism, and tended to be younger and be employed than the other two groups. Both inner values-directed group and achievement-oriented group showed higher scores in self-expression/individuality and quality out of five apparel benefit than passive/inactive group. Innovative communicators, fashion innovators and fashion opinion leaders were mostly in the achievement-oriented group, while fashion followers and fashion indifferents were mostly in the passive/inactive group. It was revealed that achievement-oriented group had a larger number of fashionable clothing items and experienced more activities in vogue. Also, there were significant group differences in shopping practice, such as average monthly allowance, number of annual purchase clothing items.

Buckling of cylindrical shells under external pressure proposition of a new shape of self-stiffened shell

  • We propose a new shape of cylindrical shell formed by multiples vaults which gives a self-stiffening against buckling. By an experimental and numerical study of cylindrical shells with a repeated defect, on the circumferential direction made only of outside oriented wave-defects, we show that multiple vault cylindrical shells can have a good behaviour in buckling. An optimal behaviour is obtained by optimization of the vaults number, with conduces to a special multiple vault cylindrical shell named "ASTER shell".

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships between patterns of children's requestive strategies, mother's child rearing attitude, and verbal control style. Subjects consisted of 60 5-year-old children and their mothers at preschool in Seoul. The children's requesting behavior were observed during self-selected activities in preschool. A sample of mothers of children completed the questionnaire. The result showed that the children in this study were likely to use more frequent directives of requestive strategies. Boys tended to use more indirect requestive strategies, especially demand with requestive tag. Mothers were likely to use position-oriented verbal control. Warmth and self-control of parenting and person-oriented verbal control were positively related to indirect requestive strategy of children. Rejective and controlling parenting were negatively associated with indirect requestive strategy. Position-oriented verbal control was positively related to direct requestive strategy of children.

병원근로자의 변화지향 조직시민행동 결정요인 : 직무만족, 조직몰입의 매개효과 검증 (Determinants of Change-Oriented Organizational Citizenship Behavior of Hospital Employees : Estimating the Mediating Effects of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment)

  • Purposes: This study aims to investigate the determinants of change-oriented organizational citizenship behavior(CO-OCB) of hospital employees and test the mediating effect of the job satisfaction and organizational commitment on the CO-OCB. Methods: Data were collected from the self-administered questionnaire survey for hospital employees of ten hospitals located in five regions, including Seoul. Out of 1,100 questionnaires which were distributed through the administrative routes, a total of 617 copies were returned(response rate 56.1%) and analyzed by frequency analysis, t-tests, correlation analysis, multiple regression, and path analysis using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. Findings: The study results revealed that the explanatory power(56.4%) of the model was most significantly increased by the variables of psychological attributes(R2-change 33,5%). Also, the variables of self-efficacy, followed by hope, the organizational climate for innovation, the psychological safety climate, team-member exchange, and leader-member exchange were found to have positive total effects on CO-OCB, through the mediating variables of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Practical Implications: The study results imply that, in order to improve the CO-OCB of hospital employees, the administrators have to take the integrated approach considering the various domains of factors including the psychological attributes, job characteristics, interpersonal relations, and organizational climate simultaneously.

침구 쇼핑성향에 따른 한지 침구류 이미지 평가에 관한 연구 (Images of Hanji-Bedclothes According to Bedclothes Shopping Orientation)

  • This study examines shopping orientation regarding bedclothes and the effect of the segmentation of consumers on the image of Hanji yarn bedclothes derived from mulberry fiber in order to contribute to the development of Hanji bedclothes products and consumer marketing segmentation. Data from 294 questionnaires filled out by female consumers in their 30s to 50s were used for statistical analysis. The shopping orientations for bedclothes are classified into six groups (trend oriented, material oriented, price oriented, convenience oriented, individuality oriented, and assurance oriented). Consumers were subdivided into four consumer segments (show-offish, self-confident, reasonable, and unconcerned case) based on shopping orientations for bedclothes. The images of Hanji bedclothes are categorized into four types (classic, practical, aesthetic, and natural) as related to the shopping orientations of consumers. In terms of consumer segmentation, the 'reasonable' segment is more likely to consider the 'classic' image of Hanji bedclothes as the highest image value; however, the 'show-offish' segment provides the highest value to the 'practical' image as compared to other segments.

노년층 여성의 생활양식에 따른 의복행동 (Clothing Behavior of Elderly Women by Lifestyle Groups)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify clothing behavior of elderly women and compare the clothing behavior by different types of lifestyle among females aged 50~69. A questionnaire was developed to measure the clothing behavior, lifestyle and demographic characteristics. The questionnaire was administered to 445 females aged 50~69 during february and May of 1994. Data were analyzed by using factor analysis, cluster analysis, ann MANOVA. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The lifestyle factors were derived: they were Economics oriented, Leisure oriented, Traditional family oriented, Consumption oriented, Self-confidence oriented, and Independence oriented. The respondents were categorized into five groups such as Conservatives, Independents, Pleasure seekers, Positivists, and Material seekers. 2. Symbolism, interest, aesthetics and management showed significant differences in different lifestyle groups. 3. Comfort, modesty, and approval showed significant differences in age and family lifestage. Dependence, management, comfort, modesty, and approval showed significant differences in marital status. Aesthetics, comfort, dependence, interest, modesty, and symbolism showed significant differences in educational level and the money they can spend on clothes in one month.

라이프스타일에 따른 베이커리 카페 선택속성 및 이용행태에 관한 연구 - 20~30대 소비자를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Influence of Consumer Lifestyle on Consumer's Selection of Bakery Cafe Attributes: Focusing the Age Group of 20s and 30s)

  • This paper aimed to investigate the influence of consumer lifestyle on consumer selection of bakery cafe attributes. Data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire by 403 random consumers between the ages 20s and 30s in several bakery cafes in Seoul and Gyonggi area. Different methods of statistical analysis had been used such as frequency analysis, factor analysis, k-means clustering analysis, cross tabulation, one way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test with SPSS for Window 13.0 package. First, when analyzing the 16 questions of comsumer lifestyles, four factors were extracted: 'dining out-oriented factor', 'achievement-oriented factor', 'brand-oriented factor', and 'health-oriented factor'. Second, the respondents were divided into three groups by k-means cluster analysis: no interest group, dining-out & value oriented group, and health-brand oriented group. Third, consumer's bakery cafe attributes were categorized into five factors including 'food', 'convenience and image', 'store promotion', 'positive dining experience', and 'menu & merchandises'. Finally when analyzing the differences in the selection of bakery cafe attributes according to consumer's lifestyles, it showed a significant differences.

중환자실 간호사가 인식한 간호조직문화와 직장 내 괴롭힘 경험과의 관계 (Organizational Culture and Workplace Bullying of Intensive Care Unit Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between organizational culture and workplace bullying of intensive care unit (ICU) nurses. Methods: A secondary analysis was conducted using three different data sets on workplace bullying of hospital nurses. This analysis focused on the relationship between organizational culture and workplace bullying of 240 ICU nurses. The original data were collected using self-reporting questionnaires and were analyzed using hierarchical multiple regression. Results: ICU nurses were aware of their organizational culture as being rank-oriented, relationship-oriented, innovation-oriented, and task-oriented in that order. The results showed that 15.0% of the ICU nurses reported being victims of workplace bullying, mostly work-related bullying. The perception of a relationshiporiented culture explained a variance of 29% in the workplace bullying of ICU nurses. Conclusion: The findings suggest that ICU nurses who are strongly aware of a relationship-oriented culture would experience less workplace bullying. Further research is needed to develop interventions that can foster a relationship-oriented culture in ICUs.
