SERVQUAL 모델을 이용한 간호 서비스 질 측정 (Measurement of Nursing Service Quality using SERVQUAL Model)

  • This study is a descriptive analytic research measuring nursing service quality, using SERVQUAL model, to make fundamental data and strategies for nursing service improvement. Data were collected by self-reported questionnaire from 202 patients and 142 nurses, from June 7 to 14, 1999. The reliability of instrument were adequate(Cronbach ${\alpha}=.94$). SAS program was utilized for statistical analysis of collected data. The results were as follows; 1. There was a gab between patient's expectation and perception on nursing service(Gap B). Gap D was indicated an affecting factor to decide nursing service quality. Gap C was indicated an indirect affecting factor of nursing service quality. Because it was not statistically significant in total item analysis, but in individual item analysis, 7 items were appeared statistically significant. Gap A was not a gap occurrence factor of nursing service quality. 2. Focuses of nursing service quality improvement strategies were; (1) to direct qualitative improvement of nursing service in order to correspondence patient's nursing service expectation. (2) to make nurse's service activity modified because nurse's practice were not reached patient's expectation level. (3) to need internal, external factor analysis affecting nurse's service activity. 3. Nursing service quality was decided by rather environmental inappropriateness provided nursing service than itself. Therefore, to make nursing service quality improvement, it is required to improve nursing service environment. For this, followings are required; (1) to strengthen nurse's education on lower part of nursing service satisfaction and QI activities. (2) to balance demand and supply of nursing personnel. 3) to fix computerized system for reducing other duties weight except nursing care through analysis of nursing activity. (4) to construct rational cooperating system among related departments. 4. The important parts for nursing service quality improvement were indicated as follows: (1) Gap B: 'prompt reaction', 'examination symptom before patient's complaint', 'hearted nursing service reducing patient's dissatisfaction', 'explanation goals of nursing activities', 'having special Knowledge enough', 'maintenance position comfortably', 'management of patient's physical hygiene'. (2) Gap C: 'maintenance physical safety', 'explanation about hospital rules and facilities'. (3) Gap D: 'tender, safe injection and wound care'. Because above items are mostly improved through nurse's attitude change and quality improvement, it is required to establish nursing standardization and to strengthen nurse's clinical education. As the based on above results, followings are suggested; 1. SERVQUAL model is very useful to make strategies for nursing service quality improvement because it indicates multiple factors affecting hap occurrence. 2. At individual items analysis of Gap C, statistically significant 7 items appeared higher nurse's perception level than patient's perception level on nursing service were trouble perception level on nursing service quality improvement. So. it need further research to analysis about these difference occurring factors. 3. At analysis of Gap D, it is indicated that in nursing service performance process, multiple factors lowing nursing service quality were intruded. So it needs further research to analysis what these factors are and how each factors affect on nursing performance process. 4. nursing service quality measurement is changeable according to sample select time or sampled subject's characteristics. So to develope strategy for nursing service quality improvement is based on the results of periodical analysis.

베이커리카페의 서비스스케이프와 재방문의도 간 관계에 고객만족의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Customer Satisfaction in the Relationship between Bakery Cafes Servicescape and Revisit Intention)

  • 본 연구는 베이커리카페의 서비스스케이프가 고객만족과 재방문의도에 미치는 영향관계를 알아보고자 하며, 서비스스케이프와 재방문의도 간 고객만족의 매개효과를 규명하는 데 연구의 목적을 두고 있다. 연구대상으로 선정된 베이커리카페는 서울 지역에 위치한 10곳을 대상으로 하였으며, 해당 베이커리카페를 방문하여 관계자의 양해를 얻어 2015년 3월 15일부터 24일까지 10일간 20대 이상의 고객을 대상으로 실시하였다. 설문지는 자기기입식으로 총 250부을 배포하여 이중 불성실한 응답자와 결측치 6부를 제외한 244부(97.6%)를 최종적으로 연구 분석에 사용하였다. 응답자의 인구통계학적 특성을 알아보기 위한 빈도분석, 측정도구의 신뢰성과 타당성 검증을 위해 신뢰도 분석과 탐색적 요인분석, 연구가설을 검증하기 위해 단순회귀분석, 다중회귀분석, 매개분석을 실시하였으며, 본 연구 분석에 필요한 모든 자료는 SPSS 18.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 서비스스케이프는 고객만족과 재방문의도에 영향을 미치며, 고객만족은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 이를 통해 베이커리카페의 향후 마케팅자료와 차별적인 서비스스케이프 활용방안을 제시하였다. 연구의 한계 및 향후 연구 방향에 대해서도 논의하였다.

경산시 일부 초등학교 학생들의 치아우식증 경험 및 비만도의 관련성 (Relationship between Dental Caries Experience and Obesity among Elementary School of Student's in Gyeongsan)

  • 본 연구는 학교구강보건실을 운영하고 있는 초등학교 학생들의 치아우식증경험 및 비만도를 파악하고 이에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 조사하기 위하여 2011년 7월1일 부터 7월 30일까지 경산시 소재 1개 초등학교 4, 5, 6학년들을 대상으로 구조화된 폐쇄형 설문지를 자기기입식 설문조사를 시행한 후 응답이 불충분한 5부를 제외한 최종 235부와 구강검사결과 치아우식경험 유무에 대한 자료를 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 연령이 증가할수록 치아우식경험도는 낮았다. 2. 어머니의 직업유무, 교육정도, 주관적 경제수준과 치아우식증 경험 및 비만도는 서로 연관성이 없었다. 3. 간식섭취량, 식습관 및 생활습관은 치아우식경험도와 상관성이 없었고, 비만체중(21.5%)이 정상체중(9.4%)보다 주간운동횟수에서 0번이 높게 나타났다. 4. 지난 1년간 치과방문 경험이 있는 학생이 치아우식 비경험이 높았으며(OR=0.498), 치아우식증경험 유무와 비만도는 서로 연관성이 없었다. 이상의 결과를 미루어 볼 때 사회인구학적 편차와 상관없이 가정에서 이루어 지지 못하는 학생들의 구강 및 건강관리가 학교보건 측면에서 어느 정도 관리가 되어지고 있음을 알 수 있었고, 치아우식경험도와 비만도의 연관성이 없음을 알았다. 추후 점차적으로 학교구강보건실 운영을 확대하여 체계적인 구강관리 및 건강관리가 국가 정책적으로 시행되어야 할 것으로 생각된다.

중년여성의 성공적 노화 측정 도구 개발: 융복합적 접근 (The Development of Healthy Aging Scale for Middle aged Women: Convergent Approach)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중년여성의 노화 도구를 개발하는 것으로 연구대상자는 대도시 중년여성 385명을 대상으로 수집하였고, 개발과정은 예비문항 개발, 내용 타당도와 신뢰성 검증, 최종 문항의 요인분석 및 신뢰도와 타탕도를 검증하였다. 요인분석 결과 본 도구는 9개의 요인으로 구성되었고, '자기성취감', '신체변화적응', '심리변화적응', '대인관계', '갱년기증상적응', '경제적 안정', '신체건강유지', '사회적 지지', '사회변화적응'으로 명명되었다. 본 연구에서 개발한 도구는 전체 설명변량이 64.03%로 충분하였으며, 전체 신뢰도도 Cronbach' ${\alpha}$값 .90으로 높았고, 우울과의 상관관계 분석에서는 부적 상관관계(r=-.69, p<.001)가 있는 것으로 나타나 동시타당도가 검증되었다. 본 도구는 높은 타당성과 신뢰도를 가지는 것으로 확인되어 중년여성의 성공적 노화를 측정하기 위한 도구로 유용할 것이다. 본 연구에서 개발한 도구는 반복 연구를 통해 추후 중년여성의 성공적 노화를 지지하기 위한 프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 마련하는데 기여할 것으로 사료된다.

대학 교양영어 소집단 협동학습이 영어독해력, 영어읽기동기, 협동학습인식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of College-Language Small Group Cooperative Learning on English Reading Comprehension, English Reading Motivation and Cooperative Learning Awareness)

  • 본 연구 목적은 대학 교양영어 수업에 활용 가능한 소집단 협동학습 수업 프로그램을 적용하여 소집단 협동학습이 영어 독해력과 영어 읽기동기에 미치는 영향과 소집단 협동학습 인식변화를 분석하는데 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해, 충청북도의 4년제 종합대학교의 필수 교양영어 수업에 참여한 신입생 62명을 연구대상으로 2019년 9월 2일에서 12월 13일까지 실험반(34명)은 협동학습을 기반으로 한 맞춤식 소집단 협동학습으로 수업을 진행하고, 통제반(28명)은 전형적인 강의식 수업으로 진행하였다. 학습자들의 영어 능력은 학업 숙달도 영역을 영어 독해력으로, 정의적 영역은 영어 읽기 동기로 나누어 실험하였으며 실험 전 학습자들의 영어 독해력은 국가 수준 교육 성취도 평가문제를 발췌하여 측정하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소집단 협동학습을 적용한 집단의 영어 독해력 점수와 소집단 협동학습을 적용하지 않은 집단의 영어독해력 점수는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있다는 것을 발견하였다. 둘째, 소집단 협동학습을 적용한 집단의 영어 읽기동기 점수와 적용하지 않은 집단의 영어 읽기동기점수는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있다는 것을 발견하였다. 셋째, 소집단 협동학습을 적용한 집단의 인식변화가 실험 전과 실험 후에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있다는 것을 발견하였다. 본 연구는 대학 교양영어 수업 시 대학생들 간의 협동학습을 통해 영어 독해력, 영어 읽기동기, 협동학습 인식이 상승했으며, 이를 통한 자아정체성, 자신감 등에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

일 대학 병원 마취${\cdot}$회복실 간호사의 간호활동 분석 (Analysis of Anesthesia and Recovery Room Nurses's Activities)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to specify roles of nurses from the anesthesia and recovery room by analyzing nursing activities as well as anesthesia nursing during surgery. Method: The objects were 12 RNs working in the recovery room of a university hospital located in Incheon. Self-report was performed by measuring stop-watch for five days from May 17th to May 21st in 2004. Research method was designed to record the time and frequency of the nursing activity from anesthesia and recovery room based on nurses' statement and other references for five days. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and t-test via SPSS Win 10.0 program. Result: Nursing activities in anesthesia recovery room were classified into two different characteristics such as direct and indirect nursing activity. The activities consisted of 11 direct nursing areas and 39 nursing activities in anesthesia preparation room. The indirect nursing was classified into 8 nursing areas and 32 nursing activities. The direct nursing was classified into 12 nursing areas and 55 nursing activity. Also, the indirect nursing was classified into 7 nursing areas and 21 nursing activities in recovery room. In terms of prevalence of nursing activities in the anesthesia preparation room, observation and cooperation of anesthesia was the most prevalent activity, drug and eqipment management the second prevalent, and drug administration the third. On the other hand, in the recovery room, the most prevalent activity was vital sign checking and observation, the second most prevalent activity informative activity, and the third body temperature control. Nursing activity time was recorded according to the nursing characteristics. In the anesthesia preparation room, the direct nursing spent for 8092.20 minutes was larger than the indirect nursing spent for 7198.50 minutes. Also, in the recovery room, the direct nursing spent for 2361.16 minutes was larger than the indirect nursing spent for 1134.13 minutes. 4. Nursing activity time was compared to duty shifts. In the anesthesia preparation room, the direct nursing was more prevalent on day shift and the indirect nursing was prevalent on evening shift. However, in the recovery room, both direct and indirect nursing activities were prevalent on day shift. Conclusion: The role of anesthesia and recovery room nurses was analysed according to the time, frequency, and its characteristics.

임상간호사의 조직몰입과 관련변인 분석 (Analysis of the Clinical Nurses' Organizational Commitment and Relating Variables.)

  • Organizational commitment is characterized by a strong belief in and acceptance of the organization's goal and values ; a willingness to exert considerable effort on behalf of the organization ; a strong desire to maintain membership in the organization. The purpose of this study was to identify the variables which influence the organizational commitment and to test the relationship between the clinical nurses' organizational commitment and turnover intention. The subjects were 412 nurses who were working on general wards at three General Hospitals in Chounbuk. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaire from Sept. 20 to Sept. 31, 1995. The instruments used in this study were Likert-type scale which were Organizational Commitment Scale by Mowday et al, and Turnover Intention Scale by Mobley et al. The questionnaire of organizational characteristics was made through reviewing literature. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression with $SPSS-PC^+$ program. Major findings are as follows : 1. Mean scores for organizational commitment were 3.008 and turnover intention 3.167 on a 5 point scale. 2. Age and clinical experience were positively related to organizational commitment(r=.4806, p=.000; r=.4792, p=.000). 3. In the personal variables, hospital type(F=21.374, p=.000), education level(F=5.481, p=.001), position(F=30.867, P=.000), and marital status(t=-5.63, p=.000) of the nurses showed significant differences in organizational commitment. 4. The variables to the organizational characteristic were statistically significant in organizational commitment : formalization(r=.3458, p=.000), human-centered organizational characteristic(r=.4302, p=.000), performance- centered organizational characteristic(r=-.1502, p=.000), payment(r=.2234, p=.000), promotion(r=.2710, p=.000), benefit & service(r=.2325, p=.000), and resource inadequacy(r=-.2172, p=.000). 5. For the purpose of identifying the predicting variables in organizational commitment, stepwise multiple regression is conducted. The results show that age, human-centered organizational characteristic, formalization, hospital type, resource inadequacy, promotion, and benefit & service were significant variables and explained 46% of the variance. 6. Organizational commitment was significantly negatively correlated with turnover intention(r=-.6442, p=.000). As a result of stepwise multiple regression analysis, organizational commitment is the most powerful variable predicting turnover intention and explained 41.5% of the variance. In conclusion, this study shows that the higher the organizational commitment level, the lower the turnover intention. Therefore, for effective turnover management, it is important to improve the organizational commitment among clinical nurses. In order to enhance the organizational commitment by the clinical nurses, it will be useful to consider significant organizational characteristics variables identified in this study.

대학생의 건강증진행위에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Health Promoting Behavior of University Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to inquire into the degree of health promotion activity of university students, and to confirm the general factors of health promotion behavior in order to offer basic data for a nursing strategy to improve health promotion behavior. For this research, data was collected from university men and women through questionnaires from February 18 to March 20 in 1998. The author develop a measuring instrument on the basis of related reviews of health promoting behavior in the prevention of chronic disease, as well as accounting for demographic factors, biological factors, and circumstanctial factors. The content validity of the instrument was authenticated by two professors of the science of nursing,. and the reliability was confirmed by a 'cronbach' ${\alpha}'$ after moditying the content through a pre-test on 30 students. 475 persons were analyzed in terms of an average, percentage, t-test, ANOVA by 'SPSS-PC'. The analyzed data was the following. 1. The acting degree of health promoting behavior was 3.26 point out of 6. Among the sub-levels of health promoting behavior, the order of importance was the following. self-actualization (4.62), interpersonal(4.60), stress management (4.0l), nutrition(3.68), responsibility(3.1l), liquid and cigaretles ues(2.85), and exercise (2.33). 2. The differences in health promoting behavior according to subject's general character were the following. Age(F=6.012, p=.003), major (F=7.243, P=.000), sex(t=7.60, P=.000), religion(F=2.454, p=.045), living status(F= 2.849, p=.024), health concern of parents(F= 7.596, P=.000), taking health programs(F= 2.710, p =.007), case history of the family( t = -1.980, p=.048). Health promoting behavior is affected by a higher age, majoring in the social sciences, having religion, male, living in the relatives' home, having to take health programs and a higher health concern of the parents. Suggestions: 1. The degree of health promoting behavior appears low in this study. It is crucial, therefore, to develop a health program to improve health promoting behavior and to study how to center the daily health life of students.

장애인과 보호자와의 관계 유형에 따른 장애인의 구강건강상태 관련성 (Oral Health Relevance to Disabled According to the Relationship Types between them and their Guardian)

  • 장애인과 보호자와의 관계 유형에 따른 장애인의 구강건강상태의 관련성을 알아보고자 장애인 보호자에게 장애인과 보호자의 응집력과 의사소통과정을 자기기입식으로 설문 조사하였고, 장애인의 구강건강상태는 DMFT index, 제1대구치 건강도, Pocket depth로 평가표를 작성하여 총 78부를 분석하였다. 통계프로그램은 SPSS win. 24.0을 이용하였으며 유의수준은 .05에서 검증하였다. 장애인과 보호자와의 관계 유형에 따른 장애인과 보호자의 응집력(p<.01), 의사소통과정(p<.01)에서 유의한 결과를 보였다. 장애인의 구강건강상태에서는 DMFT index(p<.01), 제1대구치 건강도(p<.01), Pocket depth(p<.01)에서 유의한 결과를 보였다. 따라서 장애인에게 어머니는 응집력, 의사소통과정, 구강건강상태 등 대부분의 항목에서 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 장애인과의 응집력, 의사소통과정 등에서 낮은 영향을 미친 활동보조인력과 장애인의 구강건강상태에 낮은 영향을 미친 배우자에게는 장애인과 보호자의 관계 중요성을 제시함으로써 장애인 구강건강관리법 및 관심도를 높일 수 있는 정책적 지원 및 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

내적모형과 대응자원을 이용한 만성관절염 환자의 적극적 대응전략모형 (Active Coping Strategy Model for Chronic Arthritis : Appling Internal Model of World and Coping Resource)

  • Typical symptoms of rheumatic disease affect overall daily living and cause severe stress. Individuals afflicted with rheumatic disease have many illness-related stresses. Pain was the predominantly perceived stress followed by limitation in mobility, difficulties in carrying out activities of daily living. helplessness, dependency on others, threat to self-esteem, interference in social activity, interference in family relationships. difficulties performing at work, and discomfort of the treatment. Patients with chronic arthritis are subjected to long periods of continuous stress, which may require the management by the health care provider. In these cases, the purpose of the nursing is helping to promote health through supporting patient's coping. Therefore, for the nursing intervention to be effective, it is critical to build a theoretical framework that describes stress-coping for chronic arthritis. Thus, the purpose of this dissertation is to present a theoretical framework which describes the stress-coping processes and to empirically test pathos of this framework for the people with chronic arthritis. The foundation upon which this framework is built in the Erickson, Tomlin, and Swain(1983) theory of Modeling and role-Modeling. The subjects were 275 patients with rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis who visited the outpatient clinic. A hypothetical model of stress-coping was tested by covariance structure analysis with PC-LISREL 8.12 program. As a result, the overall fit was good(Chi-square=94.49, P=0.00, RMR=0.067, GFI=0.95, AGFI=0.91, NNFI=0.93, NFI=0.91) for the hypothetical model. The results of hypothesis testing were as follows : Basic need satisfaction had a statistically significant influence on illness-related experience, emotional stress and coping resources. Internal health locus of control had a statistically significant influence on coping resources. However, independent variables(basic need satisfaction, internal health locus of control, illness-related experience, emotional stress and coping resource) did not have significantly influence on coping. And then, the hypothetical model was modified by considering both the theoretical implication and statistical significance of the parameter estimates. The revised model had a better fit to the data(Chi-square=83.11(P=0.00), RMR=0.061, GFI=0.96, AGFI=0.92, NNFI=0.95, NFI=0.92). Hypothesis emerged from the revised model was tested. The results of hypothesis testing were as follows : Basic need satisfaction had a statistically significant influence on illness-related experience, emotional stress and coping resources. Internal health locus of control had a statistically significant influence on illness-related experience and coping resources. Internal health locus of control, illness-related experience, emotional stress and coping resources had a significantly influence on coping. According to the results of this dissertation, basic need satisfaction and internal health locus of control play a central role in appraisal of illness-related experience and coping resources. And illness related-experience, emotional stress, and coping resources affect on coping activities. In summary, nursing interventions to enhance basic need satisfaction and internal health locus of control will decrease illness related experience and emotional stress and increase coping resources. Increased coping resources will prompt coping activities.
