Based on Rural living indicator -2005 survey data, in RDA this study attempted to investigate Rural Residents' real life satisfaction or identity model by the types of leisure consumption depending on each generation and explored the relationship between leisure consumption and the enhancement of self-identity/ interpersonal relationship, and that between leisure consumption satisfaction and real life satisfaction. Based on systematic random sampling with constructed questionnaires, 1,870 data were collected and analyzed. Overall, the results of this study showed that there are statistically significant differences between generation in leisure consumption. In detail, the findings of this study are as follows. The types of Rural Residents' leisure consumption can be divided into three styles including Semi-leisure type, Passive leisure type and Total leisure type consumption. The preferred types of leisure consumption of Rural Residents' were Semi-leisure type, Passive leisure type and Total leisure type in order. Except for times-pending leisure culture consumption, Semi-leisure type and Passive leisure type influenced on the enhancement of self-identity and interpersonal relationship, then the enhancement of self-identity and interpersonal relationship influenced on leisure consumption-satisfaction, and finally leisure consumption satisfaction influenced on real life satisfaction.

We examined the optimal shape of blades and efficiency of a self-power generator when the self-power generator using flow of the water in pipe as the power source was installed. Selected factors were the shape of blades, the number of blades, pitch angle, and the existence of separator. GAMBIT2.4 was used as a modeling program, FLUENT6.3, which is computational fluid dynamics simulation program, was used as an analytical model. In the case of a viscous model, k-epsilon standard model was chosen. As a result, when the number of blades was increased, the efficiency and maximum moment were enhanced slightly. The pitch of blades went up, and maximum moment was also increased. The optimal pitch of blade was 62.5 degree and the efficiency was increased by 30%. The efficiency was also increased when a separator was installed.

Distributed generation systems (DGSs) have been getting more and more attention in terms of renewable energy use and new generation technologies in the past decades. The self-excited induction generator (SEIG) occupies an important role in the area of energy conversion due to its low cost, robustness and simple control. Unlike synchronous generators, the SEIG has to absorb capacitive reactive power from the outer device aiming to stabilize the terminal voltage at load changes. This paper presents a novel static VAR compensator (SVC) called a magnetic energy recovery switch (MERS) to serve as a voltage controller in SEIG powered DGSs. In addition, many small scale SEIGs, instead of a single large one, are applied and devoted to promote the generation efficiency. To begin with, an expandable mathematic model based on a d-q equivalent circuit is created for parallel SEIGs. The control method of the MERS is further improved with the objective of broadening its operating range and restraining current harmonics by parameter optimization. A hybrid control strategy is developed by taking both of the stand-alone and grid-connected modes into consideration. Then simulation and experiments are carried out in the case of single and double SEIG(s) generation. Finally, the measurement results verify that the proposed DGS with SVC-MERS achieves a better stability and higher feasibility. The major advantages of the mentioned variable reactive power supplier, when compared to the STATCOM, include the adoption of a small DC capacitor, line frequency switching, simple control and less loss.

There are various researches which proposed an automatic instance generation from freetext on the web. Existing researches that focused on English, adopts pattern representation which is generated by simple rules and regular expression. These simple patterns achieves high performance, but it is not suitable in Korean due to differences of characteristics between Korean and English. Thus, this paper proposes a novel method for generating patterns and instances which focuses on Korean. A proposed method generates high quality patterns by taking advantages of dependency relations in a target sentences. In addition, a proposed method overcome restrictions from high degree of freedom of word order in Korean by utilizing postposition and it identifies a subject and an object more reliably. In experiment results, a proposed method shows higher precision than baseline and it is implies that proposed approache is suitable for self-knowledge learning system.

This study is to analyze and examine the relations of lifestyle, fashion behavior, and make-up behavior of post digital generation and to provide the basic data which help to establish and perform the distinctive marketing strategies targeting the post digital generation. Subjects were 1,460 male and female undergraduates who attend colleges or universities in Seoul, Busan, and Daegu. Average, standard deviation, MANOVA, and ANOVA were conducted using SPSS 12.0 statistic program. The results were as follows: The higher points the group got in all the subfactors regarding information seeking pursuit and sensation intention fascination pursuit, the higher points the group had in the subfactors of fashion behavior and make-up behavior. The group with higher fashionenjoyment pursuit appeared to seek after more brand price choice behavior, internet shopping purchasing behavior, fashion information source seeking behavior, and impulse buying behavior in the subfactors of fashion behavior as well as more self-satisfaction appearance orientation and fashion information buying orientation in the subfactors of make-up behavior. With the group in pursuit of more multi activities, not only were brand price choice behavior and fashion information source seeking behavior in the subfactors of fashion behavior sought after more, but self-satisfaction appearance orientation and fashion information buying orientation in the subfactors of make-up behavior were pursued more as well. The more interpersonal relations the group had, the more self-satisfaction appearance orientation and fashion information buying orientation in the subfactors of make-up behavior as well as the more brand price choice behavior, fashion information source seeking behavior, impulse buying behavior, other-regarding behavior and independent buying behavior in the subfactors of fashion behavior the group had.

Social reason was mostly the motivation for using Facebook among Generation Y, but results on Generation X were still inconclusive due to limited studies. By using content analysis of 93 participants' written statements gathered on April to May 2012, this study compared motivations among Facebookers from two generations. The study finds that Generation X and Y shared similar motivations. The majority of both generations use Facebook to keep in touch with their friends, as well as to seek updated information. A smaller number use Facebook for entertainment, online business, and self-expression. In addition, participants were willing to continue using Facebook in the future despite the fact that they had Twitter accounts.

KEPRI (Korea Electric Power Research Institute) has studied planar type solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) stacks using anode-supported cells and kW class co-generation systems for residential power generation. In this work, a 1 kW SOFC system consisted of a hot box part, a cold BOP (balance of plant) part, and a hot water reservoir. The hot box part contained a SOFC stack made up of 48 cells, a fuel reformer, a catalytic combustor, and heat exchangers. Thermal management and insulation system were especially designed for self-sustainable operation in that system. A cold BOP part was composed of blowers, pumps, a water trap, and system control units. When the 1 kW SOFC stack was tested using hydrogen at $750^{\circ}C$, the stack power was about $1.2\;kW_e$ at 30 A and $1.6\;kW_e$ at 50 A. Turning off an electric furnace, the SOFC system was operated using hydrogen and city gas without any external heat source. Under self-sustainable operation conditions, the stack power was about $1.3\;kW_e$ with hydrogen and $1.2\;kW_e$ with city gas respectively. The system also recuperated heat of about $1.1\;kW_{th}$ by making hot water.

This paper proposes a built-in self-test tchnique for CMOS circuits. To detect a stuck-open fault in CMOS circuits, two consequent test patterns is required. The ordered pairs of test patterns for stuck-open faults are generated by feedback shift registers of extended length. A nonlinear feedback shift register is designed by the merging method and reordering algorithms of test patterns proposed in this paper. And a new multifunctional BILBO (Built-In Logic Block Observer) is designed to perform both test pattern generation and signature analysis efficiently.

We observe experimentally self-pulsing, subharmonic generation, spectral bistability, and chaos in a stable laser diode with delayed optoelectronic feed-back. The laser diode emits 200 ps optical pulses with 1.1 GHz repetition rate in the self-pulsing region. The bistable region critically depends on the closed loop gain of the system. We also explain observed experimental result.
