  • With the development of SNS, many different areas including education are utilizing SNS in various ways. And there are more and more learners and teachers who intend to use it for learning. Lately, however, the students using SNS environment hardly consider the issues regarding copyright, so this is raising even legal issues, too. Therefore, this study has examined the degree of recognition of undergraduates on copyright and extracted the general cases of copyright which undergraduates may face in the actual class or everyday life. The cases extracted are expressed in the rules of "If ~ Then", stored in the knowledge base of rules in the rule-based system, and realized as the mobile web. And regarding the copyright-related problems inputted by the students, similar rules are drawn from the knowledge base of rules so that they can solve copyright-related problems anytime, anywhere with the mobile web in a self-directed way.

  • Objective: Because of communication difficulties, the hearing-impaired face many disadvantages throughout their lives. One of those is limited access to health care services, particularly medication service. Though they suffer from problems related to taking medication properly, there have been few studies on their actual condition of medication use in Korea. This study is to investigate any obstacles to properly taking medications and, therefore, to suggest preliminary evidence for policy measures to improve safe medication use among the hearing-impaired. Methods: Study participants consisted of hearing-impaired individuals living in Seoul. We also interviewed two sign language interpreters in order to illuminate health care state of the hearing-impaired. In-depth interview for each study participant was recorded and was translated into a written script for analysis. Results: Study participants were comprised of four women (66.6%) and two men (33.3%). There were one participants in 20's, two participants in 30's, one 40's, and two 50's. Sign language interpreters were all women. One was in her 30's and the other was in her 40's. Communication difficulties have been found to be key barrier to use medication safely. A negative image of pharmacists also hinders safe medication usage, lowering access to local pharmacy and leading discretional self-medication. This article provides pharmacists with solutions to promote adherence in this population. Conclusion: The hearing-impaired had limited access to medication-related information as well as using services in a hospital and local pharmacy due to their disability. Institutional improvement for safe medication usage among the hearing-impaired is necessary.

  • Progressive facial hemiatrophy, also known as Parry-Romberg syndrome, is a progressive and self-limited deformation of the subcutaneous tissue volume on one side of the face that creates craniofacial asymmetry. We present the case of a patient with a five-year history of progressive right facial hemiatrophy, who underwent facial volumetric restoration using cell-assisted lipotransfer (CAL), which consists of an autologous fat graft enriched with adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs) extracted from the same patient. ASCs have the capacity to differentiate into adipocytes. They also promote angiogenesis, release angiogenic growth factors, and some can survive as stem cells. The use of autologous fat as a filler in soft tissue atrophy has been satisfactory in patients with mild and moderate Parry-Romberg syndrome. Currently, CAL has showed promising results in the long term by decreasing the rate of fat reabsorption. The permanence and stability of the graft in all the injected areas has showed that autologous fat grafts enriched with stem cells could be a promising technique for the correction of defects caused by this syndrome.

  • Field study improves students' capacity for studying and thinking about their surrounding environments. It also develops further interest academic study by allowing them to learn curriculum related materials from actual experience. Moreover, students acquire the capacity for independent and self regulated learning in the course of making efforts to solve problems they face in the environment. Our efforts arc directed at designing and developing a RFID based support system-based on the constructionist's learning theory to help students perform field study more efficiently. The field study support system can be implemented not only in museums but also in botanical gardens, zoos, art galleries, and science centers. Based on the results of the verification at the sample museum we will expand the target locations to implement the field trip support system. We expect that our field study support system will be a catalyst for improving learning in the fields.

The study participants were 476 freshmen, sophomore and junior students whose major was the dental laboratory technology of the 4 colleges in 2 metropolitan cities and 2 medium-size cities. All collected survey responses were encoded and analyzed in SPSS 12.0. The findings were as follows. The accidents happened to the college students during the dental laboratory technology classes: 1. The accident rate was the highest in the sophomore and the freshmen, junior in order. 2. The body parts frequently injured were hands, face, eyes, arms, and legs in order. 3. The frequent injury types were cut, burnt, stuck, wound, and suffocated in order. 4. The treatment methods for their accidents were the simple first-aids, no treatment, and the emergency room visits in order. 5. The laboratory training conditions inducing the accidents were significantly frequent under wire-related, and wax-related, iron-related, alcohol-related jobs in order, but not frequent in investing material-related, porcelain-related, resin-related, and agar-related jobs. Polishing was the most accident-prone job explaining 63% of the laboratory accidents and then, model producing, wax patterning, casting, burning, and investing jobs in order. In summary, the college dental laboratory accidents had the certain patterns by the training level and by the material or machine involved in each class. Thus, the planned and organized safety education programs should be produced and investigated for college students before their major laboratory classes.

  • The kidney keeps with close relationship in the internal organs, that the kidney function filtering eliminate the wastes to the urine on the processing to replace the old with the new blood. In case of these problem in the kidney, there is no way to catch out with self-awakening symptom except for serious illness. This problem can solve with keeping the systematic diagnosis method in the kidney trouble shooting. Under the circumstances, the importance of the diagnosis for the kidney disease is growing day after day. In this paper, among the great four diagnosises, using the way of ocular inspection & auscultation, we would like to propose rouble shooting in the way of the kidney. To do this, through the assistance of the input image, extract the value of the color with appropriate output, analysing the color of the face with related to the kidney, using the results we would like to get the accurate symptoms on the kidney's problems. Also, through analysing and comparing with the relationship the kidney and the signal of voice, we would like to realize the proof system of human health.
