This study investigates how the emotion-based learning motivation enhancement program influences learning motivation and social support of college students. The developed final program consists of Learning Motivation I, Learning Coaching, and Learning Motivation II, which has 12 sessions. In each session, every student was guided to have reflection time by writing self-evaluation and reflection paper. The participants were 38 students majoring in engineering at K-college located in G city who took one liberal arts subject based on psychology during the 1st semester in 2016 and who were divided into an experimental group (19 students) and a control group (19 students) by non-probability sampling method. In the experimental group, emotion-based learning motivation enhancement program was totally processed 12 times, one class in a week, by one main lecturer and one assistant lecturer. For data analysis, independent sample t-tests, paired samples t-tests, and review analysis were conducted. The study results are as follows. First, the experimental group participating in emotion-based learning motivation enhancement program had more significant differences in learning motivation, and both self-confidence and self-contentment among sub-components than the control group. Second, the experimental group had no significant differences in social support, compared with the control group. The impression writing analysis of the experimental group showed that this program affected learning motivation and social support. Lastly, the study discussions and implications are described.

Objectives : This study is for suggesting the data base for help mother and child improve the oral health enhancement action from understanding child's oral health enhancement action from mother's oral health education experience and researching the effects of mother's oral health enhancement action on child's oral health enhancement action. Methods : The subject was 220 children and mothers of some kindergarten in Jeollabuk-do, Korea out of convenience'sampling. The results were collected by carrying out a survey out of self record method from visiting the kindergarten from June 24th to July 12th. and were analyzed. Results : 1. The mother's and child's oral health enhancement action was satisfactory in the factor of 'toothbrushing', 'oral hygiene care item' and 'periodic visits' in case the subjects have experienced oral health education, and that data was meaningful statistically. 2. In the oral health enhancement action practiced by mother to child from existence or absence of the mother's oral health education experience, the data was meaningful statistically in the factor of 'directly brushing its teeth more than once a day', 'washing its tongue' and 'coaching that child could keep the toothbrush not to overlap with other toothbrushes'. 3. In the factor that affect to oral health enhancement action practiced by mother to child, 'toothbrushing' and 'oral hygiene care item' were high level of the mother's oral health enhancement action, and that data was meaningful'statistically. Conclusions : The children's oral health condition could be influenced by mother's oral health knowledges and attention. Accordingly, oral health education for the mother and child has to be enforced'systematically'suited for the characteristic change of oral condition with children age groups. Also, utilizing human resources who have expertise and development of the oral health education program are needed.

A service robot can identify its own position relative to landmarks, the locations of which are known in advance. The main contribution of this research is that it gives various ways of making the self-localizing error smaller by referring to special landmarks which are developed as high gain reflection material and coded array associations. In this paper, the authors propose a set of indices to evaluate the accuracy of self-localizing methods using the selective reflection landmark and infrared projector, and the indices are derived from the sensitivity enhancement using 3D distortion calibration of camera. And then, the accurarcy of self-localizing a mobile robot with landmarks based on the indices is evaluated, and a rational way to minimize to reduce the computational cost of selecting the best self-localizing method. The simulation results show a high accuracy and a good performance.
Graphene has been widely considered a promising candidate for high-quality chemical sensors, owing to its outstanding characteristics, such as sensitive gas adsorption at room temperature, high conductivity, high flexibility, and high transparency. However, the main drawback of a graphene-based gas sensor is the necessity for external heaters due to its slow response, incomplete recovery, and low selectivity at room temperature. Conventional heating devices have limitations such as large volume, thermal safety issues, and high power consumption. Moreover, metal-based heating systems cannot be applied to transparent and flexible devices. Thus, to solve this problem, a method of supplying the thermal energy necessary for gas sensing via the self-heating of graphene by utilizing its high carrier mobility has been studied. Herein, we provide a brief review of recent studies on self-activated graphene-based gas sensors. This review also describes various strategies for the self-activation of graphene sensors and the enhancement of their sensing properties.
Objectives: The objective of this paper is to study influence of self esteem, family support and adaptation to school life on adolscents' suicidal ideation adjsuted for general characteristics effect. Methods: Using cluster sampling, 318 high school freshmen from T city were extracted as survey subjects. Independent t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis were applied for statistical analysis. Results: Among general characteristics, religion, family income, single-parentedness, health status and school grades were statistically significant with suicidal ideation. Controlling the above variables, increase in self-esteem (${\beta}$=-.300) and family support (${\beta}$=-.267) showed statistically significant decrease in suicidal ideation but adaptation to school life did not. Conclusions: Therefore, it is proposed that measures for enhancement of self esteem and family support to be included in development of suicide prevention programs.
Purpose: This study investigated the mediating effects of acceptance action on the relationship between diabetes distress and self-stigma in older adults with diabetes. Methods: A descriptive research approach was adopted using 187 patients diagnosed with diabetes mellitus by an endocrinology doctor. The data were collected from 26 to 31 March, 2020 and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: The mean scores for diabetes distress, self-stigma, and acceptance action were 2.98±0.64, 2.54±0.74, and 4.16±0.35, respectively. Acceptance action partially mediated the relationship between diabetes distress and self-stigma (z=1.98, p=.024), with an explanatory power of 51.0%. Conclusion: To reduce diabetes self-stigma among old adults in diabetes distress situations, it is necessary to improve their acceptance action and develop step-by-step differentiated acceptance action enhancement programs through multidisciplinary collaborations.
This review paper outlines modern pretreatment methods used in NIR spectroscopy. The pretreatment methods can be divided into four categories. One method in is noise reduction. Smoothing is a representative method for the noise reduction. Another is baseline correction. The second derivative and multiplicative scatter correction (MSC) are most frequently employed for baseline correction. The third is centering and normalization and the last is resolution enhancement. Difference spectra, mean centering and second derivative are used in NIR spectroscopy as resolution enhancement methods. In this paper advantages and drawbacks of pretreatment methods currently used in NIR spectroscopy are discussed with many examples of NIR spectra.

A modified circulating fluidized bed heat exchanger under severe fouling condition is developed. The effects of fouling deposits on the performance of a heat exchanger are investigated. The principle and operating characteristics of a circulating fluidized bed heat exchanger are dicussed. A modified circulating fluidized bed heat exchanger shows more stable operating than the other circulating fluidized bed heat exchanger. The characteristics of self cleaning and heat transfer enhancement of a circulating fluidized bed heat exchanger are studied. The movement of spherical particles in a tube is visualized and heat transfer enhancement and scale reduction mechanism by particles are investigated.
It can be explained by congruity theory as a process that consumers engage in a matching process to identify personal community that is congruent with their self-images to find the identification between the self and the personal community. Personal community cues that evoke certain images are viewed as activating similar beliefs about the self (e.g., high status). Individuals prompt a comparison process to determine whether the personal community and self-image are congruent and imagine prototypical users of the personal community and select ones that maximize similarity to their actual or desired self-concept. Identity is devided into personal identity and social identity. Consumers are likely to be influenced by both personal identity and social identity. In this article the influencing factors of the commitment to on-line personal community are explored by the sources of both personal identification and social identification. The results are as follows. The maintenance expression and enhancement expression of personal self influence the level of personal identification positively and the maintenance expression and enhancement expression of social self influence the level of social identification positively. The level of both social and personal identification positively influence the commitment to on-line personal community which gives positive responses to the source enterprise that allows the cyberspace and the other benefits to be used.
