In this letter, closed-form approximations for outage probability and symbol error rate are presented for a selective decode-and-forward relay network with partial channel information. An independent but not identically distributed Rayleigh fading environment is considered. Numerical and simulated results demonstrate the validity of the analytical results.

초고속 접속을 위한 차세대 광대역 무선 이동 통신 기술의 하나로서, 중계기를 활용한 다중 입출력 기술이 유력하게 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 채널 선택적 중계기 기반의 다중 입출력 전송 시스템을 제안한다. 중계기와 단말기 사이의 채널 상태에 따라 선택적으로 부채널을 사용함으로써 수신 성능을 크게 향상시킬 수 있다. 실험 결과를 통해, 제안된 중계기 기반 시스템의 성능이 기존의 시스템 성능보다 우수한 특성을 나타냄을 확인하였다.

This paper presents an experimental study on the optimal settings for the selected DC fault relay (50F) to improve the operating performance for the high-speed circuit breaker on DC feeding system which ensure safety within rolling stock maintenance depot. In this study, current supplied to overhead contact wire was calculated on 1 ms interval to analyze the correction values of DC fault selective relay for the operation of current supply cutout. Particularly, standards for the accurate detection of accidents between an electric railway vehicle and the electric power facilities are shown by investigating the optimal correction values for detection of fault current, and the results indicated that it takes about 213 ms for the DC fault selective relay(50F) to fully open. In the future, the correction values of DC fault selective relay suggested in this paper will be used as the reference values of protective relay for the safe operation of DC electric railroad system such as urban railway.

중계기를 활용한 다중 입력 기술이 차세대 광대역 무선 이동 통신의 유력한 후보로 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 채널 선택적 중계기 기반의 다중 입력 전송 시스템을 제안한다. 본 전송 시스템은 상하향 전송을 위해 SC-FDMA (Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access)와 OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) 방식을 각각 채택한다. 단말기와 기지국 간 사용되는 부채널을 고정하고, 중계기와 단말기 또는 중계기와 기지국 사이의 채널 상태에 따라 선택적으로 부채널을 사용함으로써 수신 성능을 크게 향상시킬 수 있다. 실험 결과를 통해, 제안된 중계기 기반 시스템의 성능이 기존의 중계기 기반 시스템의 성능보다 우수함을 확인한다.

본 논문은 신호대잡음비(signal-to-noise ratio:SNR) 기반의 선택적 전달 기법에서의 아웃티지 성능을 분석한다. 전달 단말은 수신된 신호대잡음비의 값이 정해진 값보다 크면 수신된 신호를 재전송하고 정해진 값보다 작으면 수신된 신호를 재전송하지 않는다. 제안된 시스템에 대해서 정확한 아웃티지 확률을 구한다.

In recent years, a lot of research was done for earth fault protection in ungrounded dc power supply system. As a result, selective-breaking integrated protective relaying system is developed in progress and is currently field-testing are planned. Algorithm on a PC using PSCAD done a lot of testing before performing field tests, but in this study developed algorithms and functions needed to determine whether they were operating normally. Therefore, simulated system is similar to the actual situation was required and made. selective-breaking algorithm verification and validation was performed with simulator.

최근 애드 혹 네트워크에서는 전력절약 및 통달거리 확장을 위해서 릴레이 통신이 주목을 받고 있다. 또한 고속의 데이터를 전송하기 위하여 OFDMA를 릴레이에 적용하는 방식이 제안되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소스와 목적지 사이에 여러개의 OFDMA 릴레이를 사용하는 2홉(Hop) 협동 릴레이 모델을 가정하고, 세 가지 릴레이 방식에 따른 시스템의 성능을 유도하고 비교하였다. 목적지에서 동일한 상호정보 임계치를 가정할 때, 선택 릴레이 방식, 기회전송 릴레이 방식, 그리고 반복 릴레이 방식 순으로 성능이 우수하였다.

본 논문에서는 64-QAM 디지털 무선중계 장치에 적용할 목적으로 주파수 선택적 페이딩 책 중의 하나인 아날로그 기울기 등화기의 이론적 모델, 구현 및 성능을 제시하였다. 또한 주파수 선택적 페이딩에 대해 기저대역 의 채널 모델링을 통해 I 및 Q 채 널의 상호간섭을 분석 하였고, 이 를 근거로 IF 대역에서 아날로그 기울기 등화기 구현을 위한 방법을 유도하였다. 페이딩을 받은 채널에 대해 기울기 등화기의 적용 유무에 따라 시간 및 주파수 영역에서 각각 신호의 영향을 살펴보았다. 그리고 무선중계 장치의 성능을 나타내는 시그너쳐(signature)를 통해 비트 오율 $10^{-3}$ 기준으로 신호 대역폭의 가장자리에서 약 6.2 dB 개선됨을 보였다.

Selective ground relays (SGRs) are useful fur distinguishing a faulted feeder from the sound feeders in ungrounded systems. However, they sometimes mis-operate due to human or device errors. Particularly, the reversed polarity of zero-sequence current transducers (ZCTs) is the most frequent cause of mis-operation. This paper presents a modified SGR for reducing the probability of mis-operations caused by the reversed polarity of ZCTs. The modification is achieved by introducing an adaptive time delay, which depends on the magnitude of the zero-sequence current and the phase angle deviation from the reference. The modified SGR was successfully demonstrated on a sample ungrounded system without mis-operation.

The implementation of a simple analog in-phase combiner is presented for a high capacity radio relay system with space diversity. It provides good performance in terms of simple hardware and easy control, and measured results are in good agreement with simulated ones. To suggest practical applications, signatures with/without diversity are measured for STM-1 signal of 64-QAM radio relay system combined with a 13-tap equalizer, and they provided more than 25 dB fade depth at 10$^{-3}$ BER under the frequency selective fading condition.
