망지 특성에 따른 방추형 어류의 크기 선택성에 대한 실험적 연구 (An experimental study on the size selectivity of fusiform fish by the netting characteristics)

  • This study quantitatively evaluated size selectivity for three netting shapes (T0; regular, T45, T90) and hanging ratio (35%, 70%) of T0 netting used for trawl codend. The size selectivity experiment was performed in a tank using a cube experimental model with a length of 50 cm on one side and 389 experimental individuals, jack mackerel (Trachurus japonicus). In the selectivity analysis, a selectivity curve was created based on the selection ratio using a logistic function, and the 25%, 50%, and 70% selection length and selection range (SR) were obtained. The T0 netting was 19.54 cm when the 50% selective length, which is a selectivity evaluation index, had a hanging ratio of 35%, a selection range of 0.51 cm, and 22.70 cm and 3.08 cm for the hanging ratio of 70%. The T45 netting was 24.34 cm and 2.13 cm, and the T90 netting was 23.51 cm and 2.84 cm. The results of the T45 netting and the T90 netting are similar, and the 50% selection length and selection range were relatively larger than the T0 netting. There was a significant difference in the correlation between the circumference of the inner circle of the mesh by the shape of the netting and the body girth of the experimental individual (Pearson test, r = 0.86, p < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the correlation between the selection ratio by the T0 netting, T45 netting, and T90 netting with a 70% hanging ratio (one-way ANOVA, p > 0.05). The results of this study showed that selectivity such as T45 netting and T90 netting appeared when the hanging ratio, which maximizes the area of T0 netting, was maintained at 70%.

고준위방사성폐기물 심층처분을 위한 암반공학분야 핵심 평가인자 및 분포범위 연구 (A Study on Key Parameters and Distribution Range in Rock Mechanics for HLW Geological Disposal)

  • 고준위방사성폐기물 심층처분 부지선정과정은 단계별로 진행될 예정이며, 부지선정과 관련된 평가인자는 103개로 제안된 바 있다. 이 중 암반공학분야에서 무결암, 절리나 암반에 대한 평가인자는 33개가 있으며, 기본조사와 상세조사 단계에서 적용된다. 본 보고에서는 일축압축강도와 원위치 응력, 절리분포, 암반등급을 주요 평가인자로 선정하고, 이 중 일축압축강도와 원위치 응력을 핵심 평가인자로 선정하였다. 선정한 핵심 평가인자에 대한 분포범위를 평가하기 위해 원주와 춘천지역의 화강암을 대상으로 통계적 기법 또는 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 사후분포를 통해 추정된 원주지역의 일축압축강도의 평균은 약 171 MPa, 춘천지역은 약 123 MPa이다. 원주지역에 작용하는 최대 원위치 응력은 30 MPa 이하이며 춘천지역은 40 MPa 이하였다. 회귀분석에 의해 산정된 최대수평응력의 방향은 원주의 경우 101°이며 춘천의 경우는 95°였다.

  • The Common Criteria (CC) philosophy is to provide assurance based upon an evaluation of the IT product or system that is to be trusted. Evaluation has been the traditional means of providing assurance. It is essential that not only the customer' srequirements for software functionality should be satisfied but also the security requirements imposed on the software development should be effectively analyzed and implemented in contributing to the security objectives of customer's requirements. Unless suitable requirements are established at the start of the software development process, the re suiting end product, however well engineered, may not meet the objectives of its anticipated consumers. By the security evaluation, customer can sure about the quality of the products or sys tems they will buy and operate. In this paper, we propose a selection guide for If products by show ing relationship between security engineering and security evaluation and make help user and customer select appropriate products or system.

Ranking Translation Word Selection Using a Bilingual Dictionary and WordNet

  • This parer presents a method of ranking translation word selection for Korean verbs based on lexical knowledge contained in a bilingual Korean-English dictionary and WordNet that are easily obtainable knowledge resources. We focus on deciding which translation of the target word is the most appropriate using the measure of semantic relatedness through the 45 extended relations between possible translations of target word and some indicative clue words that play a role of predicate-arguments in source language text. In order to reduce the weight of application of possibly unwanted senses, we rank the possible word senses for each translation word by measuring semantic similarity between the translation word and its near synonyms. We report an average accuracy of $51\%$ with ten Korean ambiguous verbs. The evaluation suggests that our approach outperforms the default baseline performance and previous works.

항공사 선택요인 분석 (An Exploratory Study on the Selection Criterion of an Airline Firm)

  • This study investigates what criterion airline customers recognize important when evaluating airline firms. Specifically it is surveyed if different criterion are used by different groups of airline customers when choosing an airline firm. In addition customer group with high loyalty to 'K' airline, national carrier of Korea, is differently evaluate 'K' airline for the selection criterion over customer group without loyalty. Frequent flyer program is suggested most important by most of the customers being followed by flight schedule. Flight schedule, in-flight food and air fare of 'K' airline are differently evaluated according to level of royalty to the airline. However there appears no difference in the evaluation of seat and entertainment between two groups, customers with high loyalty and customers without loyalty.

Feature-Based Relation Classification Using Quantified Relatedness Information

  • Feature selection is very important for feature-based relation classification tasks. While most of the existing works on feature selection rely on linguistic information acquired using parsers, this letter proposes new features, including probabilistic and semantic relatedness features, to manifest the relatedness between patterns and certain relation types in an explicit way. The impact of each feature set is evaluated using both a chi-square estimator and a performance evaluation. The experiments show that the impact of relatedness features is superior to existing well-known linguistic features, and the contribution of relatedness features cannot be substituted using other normally used linguistic feature sets.

  • An integrated heuristic approach based on genetic algorithms (GAs) is proposed for solving the container selection and loading problems. The GA for container selection solves a two-dimensional knapsack problem, determining a set of containers to minimize the transportation or shipment cost. The GA for container loading solves for the weighted coefficients in the evaluation functions that are applied in selecting loading positions and boxes to be loaded, so that the volume utilization is maximized. Several loading constraints such as box orientation, stack priority, stack stability, and container stability are also incorporated into the algorithm. In general, our computational results based on randomly generated data and problems from the literature suggest that the proposed heuristic provides a good solution in a reasonable amount of computational time.

  • 지식 재사용 측면에서 기존의 온톨로지를 재사용할 수 있다면 많은 자원을 절약할 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 기존의 온톨로지를 활용하기 위해서는 보다 발전된 온톨로지 검색 기능이 요구된다. 현재까지 이루어진 관련 연구들에서는 주로 렉시컬 매칭기법을 사용하여 온톨로지를 검색하였다. 그러나 의미적 측면에서 문제점이 있으므로 본 연구에서는 관계의 의미적 유사성에 기반한 온톨로지 선택 랭킹 모델을 제안한다. 본 연구는 개념간 계층 구조와 관계를 온톨로지 검색에 이용함으로써 온톨로지의 선택 랭킹을 효과적이며 실질적으로 개선하였다. 또한 실험을 통해 연구 모델의 결과와 선행 연구의 결과, 온톨로지 전문가의 랭킹 결과를 비교 분석하고 연구 모델의 타당성을 검증하였다. 본 연구 결과는 온톨로지 검색 연구를 이론적으로 발전시켰을 뿐 아니라 실무적인 측면에서 실무자들이 온톨로지를 쉽게 찾아 재사용할 수 있도록 한다.

사방댐 대상지 선정 기준마련을 위한 AHP 분석기법의 적용 (The Application of the AHP Analysis Method to Prepare the Selection Standards for the Target Site of Check Dams)

  • 이 연구는 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 분석기법을 활용하여 사방댐 대상지 선정과 관련된 인자의 중요도를 정량적으로 산정하고, 이를 시범 적용함으로써 사방댐 대상지 선정과 관련된 기초자료를 제시하고자 하였다. AHP 분석을 위해 평가항목 및 평가인자를 구분한 결과 평가항목은 3개(위험성, 취약성 및 시공성), 평가인자는 총 12개(위험성 10개, 취약성 및 시공성 각 1개), 평가기준은 평가인자별 2~6개로 선정되었다. 선정된 평가항목, 평가인자 및 평가기준별 중요도를 활용하여 평가기준별 상대적 중요도를 산출한 결과, 취약성 항목인 의료시설, 노유자시설, 교육시설 및 민가 등이 타 항목보다 높게 나타났다. 사방댐 타당성평가 적격 판정지역의 중요도를 강원도 내 사방댐 미설치유역 24,431개소에 적용한 결과, 사방댐 배치가 가능한 산림유역은 전체 산림유역의 35.2%에 해당하는 8,601개소로 나타났다.

교통계획평가에서의 제문제 (Some Problems in the Evaluation of the Transportation Plan)

  • The methods of the transportation plan evaluation have appearently been improved. Yet we are frequently confronted with many problems when we are trying to apply those various methods in practice. This paper aims at reviewing the major problems in the transportation plan evaluation and considering the way to resolve such kinds of problem. The selection of the evaluation criteria and the weighting systems between such criteria are the moat important things in the multi-criteria approaches. In this respect, this paper suggests some alternative evaluation criteria in consideration of the levels and the purpose of the plan. Also the increased capacities and new demands of generated trip are the main effects of the transportation investment. Nevertheless such significant effects have been neglected in the calculation of benefits due to the transportation investment in the past. Therefore this paper suggests that the surplus capacities and new demands of generated trip according to the alternative investment plans should be included in the calculation of benefits for the plan evaluation.
