Korean medical system is unique system that has two medical system, Western medical institution and Korean medical institution. In this environment, patients who use each medical institution have different selection factors. The study explores the selection factors' difference of korean/western medical institutions. The empirical analysis of the surveyed data produced the following outcomes. The result of factor analysis, four factors were extracted. That was Human services, Costs and Physical Environment, Prestige and reputation, Public relations and reliability. Overall, the four selection factor importance scores of Korean medical institution were higher than western medical institution's. These findings show that there is a difference between korean and western medical institutions in terms of selection factors. After this study, More study about medical management and healthcare policy including korean medical characteristics is needed.

Feature selection has been widely established as an efficient technique for microarray data analysis. Feature selection aims to search for the most important feature/gene subset of a given dataset according to its relevance to the current target. Unsupervised feature selection is considered to be challenging due to the lack of label information. In this paper, we propose a novel method for unsupervised feature selection, which incorporates embedded learning and $l_{2,1}-norm$ sparse regression into a framework to select genes in microarray data analysis. Local tangent space alignment is applied during embedded learning to preserve the local data structure. The $l_{2,1}-norm$ sparse regression acts as a constraint to aid in learning the gene weights correlatively, by which the proposed method optimizes for selecting the informative genes which better capture the interesting natural classes of samples. We provide an effective algorithm to solve the optimization problem in our method. Finally, to validate the efficacy of the proposed method, we evaluate the proposed method on real microarray gene expression datasets. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method obtains quite promising performance.

This paper is about applying efficient data mining method which improves the score calculation and proper building performance of credit ranking score system. The main idea of this data mining technique is accomplishing such objectives by applying Correlation based Feature Selection which could also be used to verify the properness of existing rank scores quickly. This study selected 2047 manufacturing companies on KOSPI market during the period of 2009 to 2013, which have their own credit rank scores given by NICE information service agency. Regarding the relevant financial variables, total 80 variables were collected from KIS-Value and DART (Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System). If correlation based feature selection could select more important variables, then required information and cost would be reduced significantly. Through analysis, this study show that the proposed correlation based feature selection method improves selection and classification process of credit rank system so that the accuracy and credibility would be increased while the cost for building system would be decreased.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of lifestyle factors on clothing purchase motives, information use, and selection criteria in male college students. The sample included 241 male college students, and an instrument was developed based on the previous studies. The statistical analyses used for this study were factor analysis and multiple regression. The result of factor analysis showed that lifestyle consisted of six factors : clothing interest, serif-confidence, social participation, planned clothing purchase, family-orientation, and conservativeness. Clothing purchase motives consisted of conspicuous consumption motives, fashion and individuality motives, and economic motives. Clothing information use consisted of four factors: paper/display, personal advice, fashion show/clothing observation, and electronic media. Finally. clothing selection criteria consisted of practicability, fashion/individuality, and conformity, Multip1e regression revealed that there were significant effects of lifestyle factors on clothing purchase motives, information use, and selection criteria. For example, self-confidence factor had a negative impact on conspicuous consumption motive, personal advice information use, and fashion/individuality criteria. The relative importance of lifestyle factors were different according to different dimensions of clothing purchase motives, information use, and selection criteria.

Purpose: The following research analyzes the causes of major selection and career decision of students studying dental technology. It is to be used as basic data for the management of career improvement program. Methods: The survey has been processed to 490 college students studying Dental Technology in D-college. Questionnaire consists of major selection confidence sheet (14 items) and career decision confidence sheet (18 items) and was scored with 5-points per question. The collected data was analyzed by the statistical program: SAS V8 for Windows. To test for significance on each item, p < 0.05 has been decided as a standard. Results: The analysis of result about the level of confidence on major selection has valid difference by genders, serving military service or not, experience of studying one more year to enter the college or not, making career decision and grade. The analysis of result about career decision has valid difference by gender, serving military service, career decision, day and night course, age and native place. Conclusion: We develop the career advice program and manage it effectively, the confidence on the major selection and pride about its faculty will be high to dental technology students.

The purpose of this study was to make a selection criteria for Home Economics textbooks in the middle school. For this purpose, first, the criteria were out by collecting, analyzing and synthesizing the literature. Second, questionnaire survey of the 6 selection criteria was performed. Questionnaire sent to Home Economics teachers of 401 middle school selected by systematic random sapling, 233 questionnaire were received and 220 questionnaire were analyzed for this study. As a statistical tool, SPSSWIN was used to analyze frequency, mean, standard deviation, and factor analysis. The research findings were as follows ; 1. Now for kinds of Home Economics textbooks are mainly used. At that time when textbooks were selected, these selections were made upon deliberation with the teachers in charge and in future this method will be desirable. Most home economics teachers realize that the selection criteria is needed to improve the objectivity of textbook selection. 2. As a result of making factor analysis, the selection criteria were revised that 52 items in 7 categories were chosen as textbook criteria plan. They consist of 5 items related to the outward form of textbook, 5 items related to the learning materials in textbook, 10 items related to the composition of textbook units, 11 items related to the guiding contents of textbook, 7 items related to the subject of experiment.practice, 9 items related to the composition of picture, photograph and diagram. and 7 items related to the use of instructional-learning method.

본 논문을 통해 i.n.d 레일리 패이딩 체널에서 서로 다른 변조/복조 기법을 사용하는 중계기들로 구성된 선택적 복호 후 재전송 네트워크의 성능평가를 보여준다. 본 논문은 i.i.d와 i.n.d 레일리 패이딩 채널 모두에서 선택적 복호 후 전송 프로토콜이 최대 다이버시티를 얻을 수 있다는 것을 보여준다. 또한 SC(selection combining)기법을 사용하는 시스템과 MRC(maximal ratio combining)기법을 사용하는 시스템의 성능을 비교하여 결합기술의 효과를 연구하였다. 높은 SNR에서 시뮬레이션 결과와 수식적 분석 결과가 정확하게 일치하는 것을 보여준다.

This study examined the subjective health recognition, motivation, selection property, consumption realties, and generalities of elderly people eating out. The ratio of women eating out in those over 60 years of ages was high and people in that age group ate out most actively. The score of convenience-oriented, gourmet-oriented, and dignity-oriented of the selection property for eating out increased with increasing frequency and expenditure for eating out. With increasing age, a negative (-) relationship with a decrease in the safety-oriented score of the selection property for eating out was predicted. As the number of days eating out increased, a positive (+) relationship with an increase in the safety-oriented score of the selection property for eating out was observed. As the scores of physical and social health perception increased, a positive (+) relationship with an increase in the gourmet oriented score was observed. Based on the results, various research on the relationship between the health recognition and eating out behavior of those over 60 years of age are required.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors influencing consumers' selection of web-toon service through AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis and to provide the strategy of web-toon service. To accomplish this study, theories, existing research and references related to AHP were sufficiently examined and selected the factors in the selection criteria. Surveys from consumers who used the web-toon service were conducted with selected factors. Through this, the results were analyzed by AHP analysis to find out the weighting values and the differences were examined and analyzed. The highest weighting factor in the first layer that consists of web-toon service was cinematic quality. The cinematic quality was the most important factor in the selection criteria of customers who use the web-toon service regardless of their preferred genre. Furthermore, it was confirmed that the weighting value or ranking changed in the second layer by genre. In this study, the effective basis of strategy were suggested by ranking the quantitative selection factors according to the preferred genre of consumers using web-toon services. In addition, This research provides some practical implications. That is, the web-toon service provider can easily recognize and respond to the customer's requirements, which factors are important when the customer selects a specific genre from the web-toon genre.

In this paper, the downlink performance of multi-cell distributed antenna systems (DAS) with a single user in each cell is investigated. Assuming the channel state information is available at the transmitter, four transmission modes are formulated as combinations of remote antenna units (RAUs) selection and cooperative transmission, namely, non-cooperative transmission without RAU selection (NCT), cooperative transmission without RAU selection (CT), non-cooperative transmission with RAU selection (NCT_RAUS), and cooperative transmission with RAU selection (CT_RAUS). By using probability theory, the cumulative distribution function (CDF) of a user's signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) and the system ergodic capacity under the above four modes are determined, and their closed-form expressions are obtained. Furthermore, the system energy efficiency (EE) is studied by introducing a realistic power consumption model of DAS. An expression for determining EE is formulated, and the closed-form tradeoff relationship between spectral efficiency (SE) and EE is derived as well. Simulation results demonstrate their consistency with the theoretical analysis and reveal the factors constraining system EE, which provide a scientific basis for future design and optimization of DAS.
