In this study, a new sustainable material was proposed to prepare precast tunnel lining segments (TLS), which were produced using a fiber-reinforced slag-based geopolymer composite. Slag was used as the geopolymer binder. In addition, polypropylene and carbon fibers were added to reinforce TLSs. TLSs were examined in terms of flexural performance, load-deflection response, ductility, toughness, crack characteristics, and tunnel boring machine (TBM) thrust force. Simultaneously, numerical simulation was performed using finite element analysis. The mechanical characteristics of the geopolymer composite with a fiber content of 1% were used. The results demonstrated that the flexural performance and load-deflection response of the precast TLSs were satisfactory. Furthermore, the numerical results were capable of predicting and realistically capturing the structural behavior of precast TLSs. Therefore, fiber-reinforced slag-based geopolymer composites can be applied as precast TLSs.

This study aims to evaluate the applicability of high-strength concrete mixed with blast furnace slag to shield segment lining in order to improve its performance and economic efficiency. Especially, it was also intended to derive the optimum replacing ratio of ground granulated blast furnace slag to ordinary cement as well as the optimum steam curing condition for shield segment concrete with the design strength of 60 MPa. From a series of experiments, the condition of 50% replacement of ordinary cement by ground granulated blast furnace slag and unit water content of 125 kg/$m^3$ was proposed as the optimum mixing condition. Comparing with standard curing conditions, it was also possible to expect approximately 110~442% strength improvement of concrete by steam curing in the same mixing condition.
Oil gelling agent was synthesized with PPG, PTMG and TDI at 7$0^{\circ}C$ for 4hours. PPGs and PTMGs having various average molecular weights (M$_{n}$: 1000, 2000, 3000) were employed to investigate the ratio of oil gelation and water gelation. As M$_{n}$ of PPG, in result, was decreased from 3000 to 1000, the ratio of oil gelation was increased from 130% to 290% for PPG and from 250% to 310% for PTMG. Ratio of oil gelation was increased approximately two times when EG was added. As the amount of hydrophilic compound in the prepolymer was increased, ratio of oil gelation was increased from 290% to 1120% for PPG and increased from 310% to 1310% for PTMG, due to the increased dispersion of prepolymer in the water/oil mixture.ure.
Recently, users of multimedia files demand a high capacity file via internet. However, it is difficult to guarantee QoS for high capacity files on internet because of its inconstant bandwidth. For guaranteeing the QoS, CDN (Content Delivery Network) is generally used for contents delivery service. Based on CDN, we propose Content Distribution and Management using Metadata (CDM) system which provides advanced transmission method and searching method. To enhance the transmission rate, CDM system supports segment-unit-based transmission method that enables parallel transmission. Also, we propose a distribution method through content based search.

Currently, museums and architectural heritage provide augmented user experiences by incorporating various media technologies. They still, however, suffer from the limitation of entertainment-based and the provision of location-based simple and repetitive contents. In addition, while acting as a key medium of experience for architectural heritage, the concept of space is not properly reflected in current services. The purpose of this study is to design user space experience considering such characteristics of architectural heritage. The spatial experience content and content production platform are defined. This software platform creates content that enhances the experience of the place by giving a context-based digital data associated with space and objects. The spatial experience content is designed as a series of experience sequences. The composition of the sequence borrows the method of film and narrative which segment and connect consecutive experiences on a scene basis considering user's detailed spatial experience. Therefore, content components can be combined and reproduced in various types. Augmented contents were extracted by using rule-based reasoning function of ontology at the moment. As a practical example of architectural heritage, the Seokjojeon Hall is used to reveal a spatial experience scenario.
In this paper, we propose a new and fast method for assigning the number of key frames to each shot. At first we segment the entire video sequence into elementary content unit called shots and then the key frame allocation is performed by calculating the accumulated value of AF(activity function). The proposed algorithm is based on the amount of content variation using DC images extracted from compressed video. By assigning the number of key frames to the shot that has the largest value of content function, one key frame is assigned at a time until you run out of given all key frames. The main advantage of our proposed method is that we do not need to use time-exhaustive computations in allocating the key frames over the shot and can perform it fully automatically.
Thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer made up of poly(p-hydroxybenzoate) (PHB)-poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PET) 8/2 copolyester, poly(ethylene 2,6-naphthalate) (PEN) and PET were mechanically blended to pursue the liquid crystalline phase of ternary blends. Complex viscosities of blends decreased with increasing temperature and PHB content. DSC thermal analysis indicated that glass transition temperature (Tg) and melting temperature (Tm) of blends increased with increasing PHB content. Both tensile strength and initial modulus increased with raising PHB content and take-up speed of monofilaments. In the WAXS diagram, only PEN crystal reflection at 2Θ=$15.5^{\circ}C$ appeared but PET crystal reflection was not shown in all compositions. The degree of transesterification and randomness of blends increased with blending time but sequential length of both PEN and PET segment decreased.
CCN utilizes MHT-based content authentication scheme. Some schemes propose improved MHT scheme to solve the inefficiency of the MHT-based content authentication scheme which is caused by repetitive hash value computation and witness transmission. For using MHT, it is essentially needed to minimize the possibility of error-occurrence as well as to improve the efficiency of the authentication scheme. This paper describes the improved MHT scheme is error-prone. Also, it analyzes the effect of a segment authentication error, especially, the degree of error propagation.

IP-based, next generation digital broadcast systems transmit DASH segment files. Designed by the DASH system, DASH segment files provide variable quality of contents, while the size of DASH segment files varies even if the file has the same quality. Delays and inefficient use of resources are major challenges in the transmission of variable size DASH segment files in broadcasting systems. Traditional broadcasting transmission systems are designed according to characteristics of physical layer of broadcast, and thus, delay and inefficient resources use is difficult to find. Yet, transmission content quantities continue to rise in the next-generation broadcasting systems (e.g. FHD, UHD (4k, 8k)) with variability of the segments file size as well. Resources for next-generation broadcast are more abundant than traditional broadcast with recent development, but continue to be limited and fixed. Resource delay and inefficiency are important but has not been extensively studied. We propose a transmission structure solution to analyze the delay and efficiency of the resource as each DASH segment file is transmitted, and have further performed simulation studies.
UDs were synthesized from two different polyols(PTMG, PBEAG), ionic chain extender(DMPA), EDA with $H_{12}-MDI$. PU/PMMA hybrids were prepared with free radical polymerization of MMA monomer in MMA-swelled PUD. PUD particle size and film properties were investigated ionic content and polyol type. Mechanical and thermal properties of PU/PMMA hybrid film were studied in terms of PU's ionic content and the venation of PU/PMMA compositions. As DMPA content increased from 2wt% to 10wt% in PUD, particle size of PUD decreased. PUD's particle size with ester type polyol was found to be smaller then ether type polyol used. Phase separation between hard segment(HS) and soft segment(SS) with ionic contents in PU was shown by the thermal, mechanical property measurement. Although the composition of MMA was changed from 0 to 40 wt% in PU/PMMA hybrid, the particle size of the hybrid did not increase. Using the ester type polyol, tensile strength of hybrid was found to increase by 2wt% - 6wt% DPMA content, but as higher content the strength of hybrid decreased. Moreover with the ether type polyol, tensile strength of hybrid was observed to increase by 2wt% - 4wt% DMPA content, while decreasing at higher content. PU and PMMA polymer molecule being mixed in molecular level was confirmed from the pattern of $T_g$ in DSC thermogram.
